I was a little skeptical at first but I'm so glad we decided to go. The Famous Fries...yes. The house slaw... yum. The Tofu Tacos... Absolutely yes. The sauce~no words to describe it.

We came across this restaurant while on the road to Savanna. Both the location and the staff were quite cool. They serve lit food! Their smoke bbqs and burritos are the best!👌 We ordered the family pack but we had to take it home since it's a bit much for me and my husband. Highly recommend this place ❤️‍🔥

Terrible! I called in my order 30 minutes before closing; Half rack of ribs, macaroni and cheese and fries with a lemonade.. I arrived 15 minutes later, the place seems barely furnished and empty. The bartender was rude. The ribs were WARM but had a very salty dry rub almost intolerable without the super tangy sauce i opted to have on the side. The ribs were UNDERCOOKED. Frankly raw. The macaroni was bland, the fries were COLD and the lemonade was super sour. I don’t usually make reviews but i was completely unsatisfied. And the fact i paid $30 is what really has me upset.

This is a must stop for bbq. Brisket was fantastic, as well as the pulled pork. Ribs were fall off the bone great!!. Chicken was good. Sausage was too heavy with fennel seasoning for my taste. Fries were top grade as was the corn bread. Very good selection of cold draft and bottled beer!!!!

We tried the "Container" from their menu. It comes with ribs, chicken bbq, 2 sliders (we got pulled pork and brisket) and 2 sides (2 orders of collard greens) and tried their Famous Fries. It is good for sharing and sampling their menu. The bbqs and the sides are yummy! Outdoor dining with umbrella is a plus especially during hot weather. Friendly service, clean resto and bathrooms.

We were on a trip and saw the name on Google and it sounded interesting. Stopped by and oh this will be our new stop when we are headed north. Such a nice flavor, a little unique in a good way. The sampler is the best value. After they brought it out, my teenage son who said he wasn't hungry, immediately ordered one as well. Great service, very friendly staff. You won't be disappointed.

Stopped by for lunch and so glad we found this place. Good craft beer selection. We had the sampler and sliders and it was very filling. It was kid-friendly and there is outdoor seating. I would definitely recommend.

Had the brisket sandwich with optional slaw. It is one of the best ones I've had at BBQ joints. The corn bread was cake-like, very fine and sweet. Like most Virginia cornbread, and was on my family. The macaroni and cheese side was good except it had too much heat. I like to taste pasta and cheese. Good sweet tea (and you are far south enough you can just ask for tea).

I am not a BBQ aficionado, but I know what I like and the beef brisket sandwich was excellent. Saucy's chops the brisket ... they don't serve it sliced on the sandwich. It is chopped just right .... not too fine, just right, and the the sauce is a sweet and tangy sauce with the perfect amount of heat. The sides were all quite tasty. We had Mac & Cheese, Kale Salad, Cole Slaw, and French Fries.

Great ribs and chicken. The cornbread of phenomenal. Sausage was okay and beans were below satisfactory. I also was missing an item but that got sorted out.

Great place. Great energy. Cashier sold me. She had knowledge of the menu and solid recommendations. She gave me a refill of sweet tea on my to go order. Decor is relaxing. I loved the lighting. I’m spite of my macaroni and cheese being severely over cooked, and quite frankly mushy :/ I’d still give it a five.

Great BBQ place! Food was delicious and service was wondeful. Friendly staff and very welcoming atmosphere. We got the pork and chicken sandwiches with the brisket nachos and mac and cheese and mashed sweet potatoes as our sides. We look forward to returning to try the rest of the menu.

This place was A1. We were greeted the moment we walked in the door. The service was bob on. The sweet tea was southern style. We started with que and Mac balls which were really good I enjoyed both sauces but switched them up. Clearly the portions are all very big. I really loved the pork slider the most of the three, pork, chicken, and brisket. And the ribs were good and tender. Only issue I would warn people that there is cilantro in the slaw, I have never seen that before and the slaw was also dry I’m not sure if that would classify it as slaw still or just shredded cabbage but all in all everything was really good. Do not forget to try some of the cornbread either it was very moist and sweet that was probably my favorite thing tied up with the pork bbq. Another bonus is that it is very affordable for such big bbq. A must try if you’re in the area.

Had the pork tacos... could have been better if flour tortillas had been toasted a little... and I enjoy vinegar based BBQ [Carolina style] more than oily, sauce based... but, the kale and blackbeans was very good side dish...and was the highlight of my first experience.

We got the Cue balls which was like cheese and jalapeños ( but not spicy), mac balls which is fried Mac n cheese, and then the brisket nachos. The cue and Mac were really tasty! Love the green sauce it comes with. Nice appetizer and unique item. The brisket on the nachos were delicious but otherwise the dish itself was too plain Jane. No sauce just too many dry chips that didn’t get eaten. Would be nice to have some more flavor in there or at least some pico de gallo salsa. Otherwise it’s a nice spot. Cozy and cool atmosphere for a quick bite!

The peanut butter pie is outstanding! The chicken tacos are awesome! The brisket taco and sandwich are pretty good. Some of the best coleslaw I've ever had. (I don't normally like coleslaw). The cueballs are a must!

Food was amazing, I was a bit apprehensive as I realize things can get intense in the BBQ world however our server Nikki took her time and explained everything to me. She told me whatever I pick would be good and boy she did not lie! I had the sliders that came with Brisket, BBQ Chicken and BBQ Pork. It was the best I've had. Will definitely be stopping back to see Nikki who is an absolute delight!

Stopped in here traveling from PA to NC. Expected some good southern BBQ. Did not expect the flavor of every bite. Got the sliders - variety. The hot sauce went well with all types of meats. Wife got some really lip smacking ribs. GPS says it's 3 hours from my home; do you think they deliver? Definitely stop there again on our way back.

Atmosphere is pretty nice; amazing beer selection and pretty decent food. Ordered the sampler, sausage was regular, ribs were decent. The sides were different but good enough. As a whole; I enjoyed my experience.

Everything I wanted it to be. Got the sampler with a rib, pulled pork slider, sausage, chicken, kale and beans, fries. Tried some brisket. From the sauce options to the sides, there were no misses. Interesting, tasty beers on tap, too. Really enjoyed the visit, and got attentive, knowledgeable service throughout.

We stopped after a visit to the national park Crate site. The food was amazing. The ribs and pulled pork sandwich were both tasty. The highlight tho was the Moon Fry for desert. A deep fried moon pie with a Caramel glaze and ice cream. It tastes as good as you'd think, actually a lot better. Worth the trip on its own, but do try the BBQ also.

Shared a delicious meal here yesterday with my friends John and Mila-Jane who were visiting from Hampton Roads. To be honest, when John picked Saucy's for the restaurant choice, I almost suggested he choose another place based on past experiences with takeout orders my boss has gotten from Saucy's (my co-workers and I just didn't share his love of their food). Well, I'm glad I gave Saucy's another chance. One of the big differences for me is that I finally got to have their fries hot and crispy from the fryer. If I hadn't ordered the platter, I would've eaten them all first. I also sampled my friends' potato salad and mashed sweet potato sides and they tasted a lot like my homemade versions. The other surprise was my side of kale and black beans. I was expecting something salty and/or vinegary, not the somewhat sweet flavor from the onions in this dish. Everything else on my platter was yummy and perfectly cooked too. I chose the beef brisket for my slider since pork and chicken were covered by the sausage, rib and drumstick. But even now, I cannot pick a favorite; my mouth is watering for them all! Now, if you're thinking about giving Saucy's a try, bear in mind that the entrees do NOT include sides unless stated in the description. My friends' slider trios plus 1 side cost about the same as my platter which had the 2 sides. Plus, I had enough left over for my dinner. (To quote my jr high algebra teacher, "A word to the wise is sufficient.")

Stopped in based on the reviews. Got the sampler and decided to order more to bring home. Much saucier than usual but I knew that going in...heck it's in the name. The sauce was very very good.. sweet but a nice balance of savory. The coleslaw was excellent. Never would have thought cilantro and pineapple would be good and it wasn't....IT WAS GREAT! The ladies there were all extremely nice. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been to Saucy’s many times beginning over 7 years ago. The brisket is tender and the chicken is moist. Everything is flavorful and filled with southern flair. The sweet potatoes are sweet and like candy. It’s a must have when you visit. Be sure to grab some Saucy’s rub and BBQ sauce too. They have Pork, Chicken, and Beef BBQ sauce. Service was very good and there are plenty of beer options available. The sweet tea was great and not overly sweet. You can eat inside, outside or take it to go. Wi-Fi is available and there are bathrooms.

Absolutely awesome! The sampler is great! Mac n cheese has some spice to it but very good! The grits are always on point! Desserts are good. Decent craft beer on tap!
