👍👍 Stopped in for a tour as we passed through Petersburg. We had the most professional and personable tour guide in Vernon, who spent over an hour sharing the history of the chapel and its Tiffany windows with us. So glad we visited. Stunning original Tiffany windows of the apostles. Great tour by very knowledgeable docents. Do much important American history in one location. Don't miss this rare historical treasure.

Windows are beautiful. Pray for Sun but it was still beautiful on the cloudy day we were there. Nice tour/orientation, which is necessary insight into the stories. Helps if you also have a Saint expert with you:) Tour guides are volunteers. Tour is inexpensive $6. Plus tip still very reasonable outing.

Yesterday, July 4, 2023 I went over to visit my family’s plot never been so disappointing and all my life because we had a family member buried about two months ago and when the workers put my family headstone back it’s now leaning and getting ready to fall into the grave this is not the first time that I’ve had an issue like this with the cemetery and I’m fed up. I took pictures from the first time and I have pictures now plus the perpetual care of my family paid for is not being done. There are multiple sections of the cemetery where the grass is up almost to my knee Petersburg and the workers there need to do a better job of taking care of our deceased family members. I will be calling the next day they’re open to address this issue!!!!!!!

We had such a lovely visit to the church and cemetary today. Our guide, Brian (sp) was very well informed and so genuinely nice in answering our questions. His stories were great and his personal advice on other places to visit and places to dine at in Old Town were happily accepted. Thank you!

So I’ve been to this cemetery numerous times. I’ve spent 10 hours a day there many times. Have grandparents buried there. I’ve never seen anything strange until yesterday. Me and my wife was taking a walk through there when we seen this big white dog. I know a lot of people take there dogs walking there. So I didn’t think nothing of it. We seen it on one side and next thing i know it’s right in front of us. Watched it run down a hill in front of us and then it was gone. I don’t believe in stuff like that but i thought this was strange. Anyone else ever see a big white dog in there? Curious.

There were four of us in our group. The tour guide was very patient and knowledgeable of the grounds and of the church building itself. A great experience! The church contains national treasures that can never be replaced. I would highly recommend anyone interested in American history to tour this building and grounds.

Have laid my parents to rest there. The help there today was wonderful. The only problem is getting in and out of there is crazy!

These people hire very unqualified individuals to operate zero turn mowers in areas that are not designed for such mowers . They will damage your loved ones stone by running over it then say it's not the cemetery or cities fault! Beware these are not professionals and will destroy your loved ones grave!

Stopped by on a whim with my father to take a quick tour of the church and surrounding grounds and were throughly impressed with Bryan's knowledge on the famous and ordinary history of the people, time period and historical events. He brought to life the stories of the stained glass saints as we sat listening in the pews. Highly recommended to anyone interested in learning a bit of history from some people who truly care about preserving it.
