This place was disgusting! There was dirt on the floor, AC was broken, bugs, our comforter had cigarette burn marks on it. The bathroom had not been cleaned and the vanity had the largest crack (could deal if it was clean). We instantly noticed the room next to us was being fumigated with towels lining the door so clearly there are bed bugs. I went to the counter and asked for a refund, was told to call Priceline. They told Priceline the room was in good condition. We then called the hotel, talked to the manager who told us the burn marks and dirt were non-existent and the bed bugs are none of our business. She then hung up on us. Do NOT spend your money here. We stayed @ a Super 8 in Lewisburg, WV and it was nothing like this, so its not the matter of a cheap affordable hotel. This place was filthy and we had to spends 30 min finding another hotel. Thankfully, the days inn in Chester was great after running through a few hotels that were full. Again, I cannot stress this enough, and I never do this, but you will get bed bugs and terrible service here. Sleep in your car if you have to.

This is/was one of the WORSE hotel's I've ever stayed in. This is suppose to be a non-smoking hotel, that's a lie, then BEDBUGS had taken over my room, so I had to sleep in my car. After informing the front desk, there attitude was " O WELL, WE'RE SOLD OUT", and had no other room's. If you ever consider staying here, my recommendation is "DON'T".

I made a reservation over the phone 15 minutes before showing up to find out the reservation was for “tomorrow, not today” even though I’ve made reservations for motels after midnight many times before without this issue. After a tense conversation with the man at the front desk he decided maybe he could change the reservation (obviously it was possible all along) and when he brought me the paperwork for the room I noticed my card had been charged a second time (they took my card # over the phone). Truly either incompetent or scummy management, and to top it all off the room absolutely reeks of cigarettes which are literally poison so I’m really enjoying it. AC in the room is also broken, stuck on full blast with no ability to turn it down without unplugging the unit. $50 motels in Bible belt states are far nicer than this place which ended up being at least $90 for a single room.

This was exactly what you would expect for the price. Clean rooms, nothing over the top, people were friendly. We stayed here twice on our 7 trips up and down the east coast in 28 days. Quiet, close to the interstate, convenience store across the street, working fridge and TV, great pet fee! :)

Bed was uncomfortable...very hard. Floors were very dirty turn the bottom of your feet black walking on them after a shower. Room door was very difficult to open. Likely battery in lock needs replacing....just like thermostat battery that was flashing. I feel like they have people living in some of the rooms.....the one above has children running back and forth all night long, as late as 3am. Will not stay here again!! Must say HVAC worked very well room temp was comfortable.

Just checked in at this super 8 while making a long drive back up the east coast. Reserved through Priceline. I haven’t had an issue with any other super 8. I stayed at a different super 8 location just a few days ago had a good stay in a clean room. Not this super 8. The room looked nice when I walked in, but I quickly began noticing some things were amiss. The mirror has multiple dried liquids on it, and the bathroom smells of feces, and the toilet was not clean. The bathroom light flickers incessantly and there is only 1 towel. A pillow is missing from the bed and there is styrofoam dust all over the microwave. It just doesn’t look like it was cleaned and usually any Wyndham hotel or motel I stay at is livable. I’ve never written a complaint before, but on kayak this location had good reviews so I am not sure if maybe management has changed but I’ve made a note to self to choose a different place to sleep next time I stop through this area.

The rrom was clean, the water was hot, the bed was comfortable. The most spacious bathroom I have seen and they had room available in a pinch due to the snow. When I checked out at 6:00am the quick to go breakfast was ready.

We booked a room here for one night and only after I saw the reviews, concerning bed bugs. I was so spooked and terrified, but booking is not refundable. So we went there on our own risk. Either we got lucky or they dealt with the problem, no bed bugs and roaches bothered us. Room was somewhat clean, a little bit dusty. Beds were comfortable. At the end not bad at all. Breakfast included: coffee, juice, muffins etc.

I stayed here for two nights with my dog and I highly recommend. The room was spacious, quiet, and clean. Linens and towels were in good shape. There was a microwave, fridge, and a nice desk and seating area. Sizable grassy area outside for my dog.

Rooms are nice new, it may have a smell but that's the sanitized cleaners they used to clean the rooms, I only had one issue which was bed bugs dont be discouraged it was only one I flipped the whole mattress, its really a good clean place, just check your room when you book. Ice machine laundry room pretty dope place if you're traveling to or from the south.

Our room is classified as a non smoking and smells like someone has smoked in it for years. The shower curtain has mold on it. The breakfast was just muffins and yogurt. They have a no vacancy sign up and yet there are only 6 cars in the parking lot. Hard to believe it is full. I picked this hotel because of the Wyndham name. This is very far from a Wyndham hotel.

The room was amazing. No stinky carpets, nice flooring. The staff was amazing. An Excellent place to Stay if you find yourself in Petersburg. Also close to a WAWA!

Within half hour after check in the toilet broke and leaked sewage all over the floor and into the room. We requested another room, the clerk claimed "no vacancy," but with an empty parking lot at 6PM! He claimed to give refund, but no receipt! Filthy facilities, rude and dishonest hosts.

Dirty sheets, crumbs in the bed, and he will pop up on you at anytime random and harrass you about pets and smoking. Roaches too.

All of these people who say, Bed bugs, Dusty, and staff are rude, are from years ago. This place gets a bad rap for being a Super 8 hotel, but whoever took over, and took care of this place, is doing a great job. I've seen so much worse staying at hotels (don't stay at Woodspring hotels), and this Super 8, was great for it's reviews. The place is comfortable, pet friendly, and I've seen a lot worse for a Super 8. Would 100% stay again.

The room was outdated , refrigerator made noise all night kept waking us up,the floors felt dirty there was food left in the refrigerator from someone else.. I have stayed at other places before but I have never heard the people above us walking this also kept us up! also a lot of stains through out the room!

The price was very comparable to others in the area, the staff were very friendly & accommodating. The rooms were clean & comfy. The continental breakfast consisted of muffins & instant oatmeal but there was also juices, coffee, tea & hot chocolate. It was enough. Yes, the place is a little a aged but there have been upgrades, vinyl flooring, new shower curtains, large flatscreen TV. It's perfect to relax & sleep after a long drive. What more could you need? Thank you to the gentleman behind the counter. It was a pleasure talking with you. You made us feel welcomed.

Nice clean rooms, friendly staff and the little guy I think is the owner was a life saver for us. He has nice rooms while everyone else was sold out. He went out of his way to find us 2 rooms. Awesome guy

Very clean place to sleep. Easy back to interstate. Fair price and easy to get my car serviced and food to eat.

The bathroom baseboard needed a good cleaning, cobwebs, caulking in the tub to repair it. The bedroom area had cobwebs and dust an inch thick on the pictures. The staff was nice though, so I let it slide. I learn from my mistakes though.

The location is very convenient, that's why we chose here. It turned out to be a nightmare. Extremely dirty room. There are bed bugs and cockroaches., and bit us. This is not a problem of outdated facilities, it is unacceptable to use such sanitary conditions. The upstairs stairs are noisy. Had to check out in the middle of the night in winter, the hotel owner didn't agree to a refund, only asked to change the room, rude service. This quality of hotel is a complete scam! This hotel does not need to be renovated, it needs to go to the municipal government to apply for a burning permit, burn down and rebuild.

Driving through on a roadtrip. Checked in late at night and was a little nervous after reading reviews. Clerk was friendly. Room was clean and quiet. Bed was comfy. Only complaint was that our non-smoking room did have a smoke smell - not sure if previous guest had smoked or if was coming through vents. Breakfast was coffee, juice, yougart, muffins, etc. Would stay again.

Check in a little late of Friday night, and it turns out our room is filthy! Ruin our weekend getaway, its too late to find a place for us to go that night so we don't have any choice. Our room smells like cigarettes, floor is very sticky!, bedsheets smells like cigarettes as well, lots of hair and the sink to wash the face and hands are dirty! There is mold in the faucets! Refrigerator is not working and have hair everywhere, yellowish sticky fluids inside and molds! Don't even think to stay in here! drive a little more maybe 5 or 10 min away and get a better place to stay. We ended up eating inside our car with our toddler because we cannot even bring our food upstairs to our room! That's how gross it is. If I can give a negative 5, I will.

The best thing about this motel was that I did not personally see any actual insects or rodents crawling around. Non-smoking room had a strong smell of smoke (left bathroom fan on overnight to draw it out). Shower curtain rod hanging half off the wall. Light over sink flickering to the point of distraction while trying to get ready in the morning. Door did not fully seat into frame, even with deadbolt locked. Bed linens had multiple cigarette burns (see “non-smoking room” above). Included “breakfast” had zero hot items, one type of tiny muffin, two yogurt flavors in tiny cups, and cheap cereal. Avoid unless - as was the case for me - literally everything else in town is already sold out.

Paid 128 to stay in an older hotel. It was ok but could have been cleaner. The continental breakfast was poor - coffee was weak and only had muffins and yogurt. The rooms sink was SLOW to drain, the TV remote battery cover was missing and the shower curtain rod was coming off the wall. This room was not worth the money spent. I will not be returning.

We've stayed in worse and better, so it was ok. The rooms don't have carpet so bring some house/slip-on shoes because the floors are cold. They don't use full-size pillows which we thought was strange, but I brought my own from home so that helped because if I hadn't I would have been uncomfortable with the smaller ones. The bed was amazingly comfortable and wish mine at home was as big and comfortable. The family running the hotel was super nice.
