Beautifull view from the clif where the parking is. We came in december so it was a bit windy but the water was nice 20 degrees. One of the nices spots in south cyprus

Nice beach away from the hustle and bustle of hotels. Very peaceful and not crowded in July. There is a dirt track that leads to an unofficial car park. Around 5 min walk to beach. There is also a dirt track with car parking space that leads directly to the beach however this is a private road with a gate. Fee is 5 euros. We didn't park there and chose to walk. The beach itself is a rocky beach, however the small stones are well worn from the waves and not painful to walk on. The sea can be a bit rough at times however very enjoyable swim. Nice clean beach.

It’s a nice beach, the road down to it is a track. There are a load of stacked stones on the beach which I guess is an instagram influencers dream but I didn’t care too much for it. It seems to be what the beach is now famed for - aside from that there’s some nice cliffs and a nice beach. The Irish bar nearby called Sea rays is the highlight if you’re in this area.

Great! Super nice place! Please if you find plastic bottle or other garbage take it with you to throw away after. Did it myself. Adorable beach! Need to be clean.

The marine life is good here for snorkeling. Terrain had a lot of dried seaweed mixed with pebbles. It wasn't very busy at this time of year but also does not offer a lot of coastline. There are a ton of pebble towers which people have built. To access it, there are is a nearby stand/restaurant advertising fish barbeque just asking the main road and there is a gate showing private land access to the sea for 5 euros. If you park in the car park at the top of the cliff overlooking the beach it does look like somebody has deliberately destroyed a walkway. The best way to get down seems to be walking back down along the road until the hill is suitably shallow for your party to walk down onto the path below leading to the beach. The stand probably takes a few minutes to walk back to so not really ideal if you need frequent top ups and you should go prepared with your own supplies. You can hear the goats roaming with their bells on and if you look up you might see them jumping down the mountain but the sound is deceptive there and they sound closer than they appear.

Beautiful beach in a quiet area. Able to park for free nearby and walk down to the shores. Mix of smooth pebbles and sand. Not packed with sun loungers like other beaches which I prefer. Although this does mean there is little shade. When we visited the water was good for swimming.

Picturesque wild beach close to Paphos. There’s a parking nearby. Please beware of driving on unpaved roads (not too bad though). The seabed is pretty rocky as well as the beach itself. High waves when stormy.

Perfect place. There were almost just us in the begining of april. Beautiful place! There was some road construction in 2023/04, so some difficulties to reach, but the beach is worth!

The direct road to the beach, including the Lara beach is closed. There's a round way, over the blue church but it is unpaved and complex for the small car. Although, you can park 500 meters away on the hilltop. The beach is great, it's super beautiful, covered with towers of white stones and very clean. Due to difficulty of reaching it out, it's not crowded much and better viewed on the sunset

Stunning beach, funny goats on the cliffs, just a side note, looked like the locals nudist beach

Nice beach where turtles nest, not great for swimming or sunbathing but a nice walk along the beach and a good place to watch the sunset. May even spot turtles hatching at the right time of year

Great for snorkelling and strong swimmers. But of a scramble down from the car park. Or you can pay 5€ to drive directly to the beach down a dirt path. Jingles from the nearby goats. Igneous rock. Pebble beach. Lovely cove. Lots of marine life (fish and urchins)

Not very crowded, a wild, fantastic rocky not sandy beach! The water is very clear but it gets deep quickly. You can rent an umbrella from the bar nearby for 3 euro + 20 deposit. You can get here by car but best is to rent an allroad vehicle to fully enjoy the dirt road all the way to Lara Beach. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the wild goats. They pass by from time to time and climb on the rocky wall where they spend hours in the Sun, not moving an inch, just frozen. Not quite sure how they get off the wall!

Beautiful place! The pebble statues create a magical atmosphere and the view from above the cliff is stunning. The sea wasn't clear at 3PM and could be dangerous due to big rocks and large waves but also fun. There is no access with car at the moment (September 2023) due to road repair but you can go around the construction on foot.

Remote wild beach. Beautiful scenery. One feature is that visitors have made many stone cairns, some quite impressively large. Sea 🌊 can be quite rough.

a bit of a tricky hike to get down there, which means it was quiet and enjoyable. beautiful beach with clean water.

Hard to get to, you need a car and then the road was shut so had a walk down a cliff edge, we almost had the whole beach to ourselves (nice) it is very hard to get into the sea I would suggest some kind of waterproof footwear. As far as beaches go in Paphos this is a good one, we are yet to find a nice sandy beach.

Dear viewer, This was such a pleasant surprise for us! We were on our way to another beach when we stumbled upon this beauty! Such a lovely place! You will have it almost to yourself!

Hallo, Hier ist es zwar einsam aber wunderschön. Leider sind die Tage zu schnell vorbeigegangen. Die Avacar Schlucht die wir anschließend besucht haben, hat es genauso in sich. Einfach wunderschön, traumhaft.

A good beach to swim however the biggest attraction is the dolmen forest, really like in a fairytale.

The view from above is amazing. Pebble statues at the beach are also nice. We went there around 3pm and were alone there. Its true that there is construction at the moment(sept 2023) so the access to the beach is a bit difficult but its worth it. Not so great for families bcs of big waves.

Beach with rocks and sand. Ideal for a great sunsets at the evening. Mostly at that time there isn’t many peoples.

Got there accidentally on the way to Avakas. As there was a sunset we stayed there longer. The views were very nice and the rock forms especially made an impression in the sun. There are stones on the beach as well as at the entrance to the water. Entrance free.

Clear, nice water for a swim. Beautiful scenery.

Very nice beach, it becomes deep short distance from shore. You can leave a car besides the road and there is a short work to a beach itself

  • 5/5 Gunther Z. 2 years ago on Google
Very nice beach that is not crowded. But not much shade there, so you are exposed to the sun.

  • 5/5 Stella A. 2 years ago on Google
Worth a visit, a glorious vista, and just a bit more of an adventurous road down than the common roads. Park at the top and scramble easily down. Goats also love it here, perched up high alongside the cliffs, you can hear their bells. Must go back to have the fish BBQ !!

Really cool, wild beach. Not a lot of people (almost none) which is a huge plus if you’re looking for a calm place.

A beautiful beach with quite area. Sometimes you can hear some buggy’s they are driving a long the near street but it’s less. Parking can be done for 5€ a day close to the restaurant OR you can park for free around the corner and then a 1 min walk to the beach. You need swimming shoes because the beach is a bit rocky at seafront. But there is also sand that’s perfect to chill in the sun!
