Beautiful
Greek
Orthodox
church,
worth
taking
the
short
walk
around
inside.
This
religion
is
not
too
dissimilar
to
Roman
Catholicism.
There
are
beautiful
icons,
framed
images,
(St.
George,
of
course
is
a
patron
Saint
in
the
Greek
tradition)
chalices,
and
a
beautiful
domed
ceiling
with
a
fine
chandelier.
Everything
is
very
clean
and
there
is
quite
Ess
observed
in
the
church
as
is
common
with
all
churches.
You
may
light
a
candle
and
contribute
a
small
contribution,
but
you
place
the
long
thin
candle
into
a
bed
of
sand
which
is
topped
up
with
water.
I
hadn't
seen
this
idea
for
safety
and
beauty
before
now.
The
water
is
so
still
in
the
two
circular
containers
at
arm
level
that
one
would
be
forgiven
for
thinking
at
first
glimpse
that
it
was
glass.
There
are
refreshments
and
a
canopy
when
you
can
sit
and
enjoy
your
refreshments
with
the
sea
air
all
round.
This
is
one
of
the
stops
for
the
quads,
bikes
and
vehicles.
