Beautiful location. The church is free to enter. Don't forget to lite a candle... Near the church lies a wonderful little harbor with crystal clear water..

My favourite local peaceful spot. Small archaeological site, cafe and restaurant. No traffic noise, just cicadas and waves.

Loved this wee secluded place, beautiful scenery, small chapel at top of hill, cafe and the pier with the clear blue blue water and sea caves...definitely a place to go

A beautiful peaceful church located on top on the sea. The view breathtaking. Plenty of parking space. A good restaurant near by. Also a small beach down below.

Stunning view, archaeology site, restaurant, small pottery shop, gift shop selling drinks, not much shade.

Church, views, snacks, pottery, restaurant. A good stop if you are on the market for any of the items above!

A beautiful, cosy, nice church by the sea. Small, but big enough to contain you. Simple; but it catches your eyes. Quiet, but you hear the music of heaven. If you have a car, I highly recommend this church and the surrounding area, very nice.

Quick photo stop, probably even better on a sunny day!

I mean, the church is a church so doesn't interest me in the slightest, but as a piece of architecture it's not half bad. The area it's in is gorgeous and lovely to walk round.

Church is very humble, but nice. Along with the area next to the building, it's very peaceful place (at least in April). You can sit on the bench and relax - with a good view over the sea. Big parking right next to the church.

What a lovely little church. The first time we saw it...it was prepared and ready for a wedding. Glorious view. Whilst I would rate this 5 star as a site to see, I was disappointed to see that the adjacent area was not cleared of litter.

Beautiful.point of view..this is the beginning of the wildest part of the island. Unfortunately if you do not have a jeep you will have to stop here. Anyway, if you just have a regular var it is worth to reach this point!

Beautiful Greek Orthodox church, worth taking the short walk around inside. This religion is not too dissimilar to Roman Catholicism. There are beautiful icons, framed images, (St. George, of course is a patron Saint in the Greek tradition) chalices, and a beautiful domed ceiling with a fine chandelier. Everything is very clean and there is quite Ess observed in the church as is common with all churches. You may light a candle and contribute a small contribution, but you place the long thin candle into a bed of sand which is topped up with water. I hadn't seen this idea for safety and beauty before now. The water is so still in the two circular containers at arm level that one would be forgiven for thinking at first glimpse that it was glass. There are refreshments and a canopy when you can sit and enjoy your refreshments with the sea air all round. This is one of the stops for the quads, bikes and vehicles.
