If you would like to see Lichtenstein Castle from the mountain opposite, you should hike to Locherstein. There is a fantastic high-altitude trail where you can step to the edge of the rock in many places to enjoy the view. The Locherstein is a viewing rock with a view of the castle and the valley. It is also one of the highest points on the mountain. The way here is a little more challenging and interesting. I met a few hikers here. (Sunday around 1 p.m.) So you are never alone.

The Locherstein above Traifelberg on the eastern slope is worth a trip at any time of day or year. The view offers a very beautiful view of Lichtenstein Castle and the Echaztal with the towns of Honau and Unterhausen.

Very nice hiking destination with a great view of Lichtenstein Castle. The hiking trails are challenging and therefore by no means boring. Good footwear is obviously a prerequisite.

Nice viewing spot, with a view of Lichtenstein Castle and down into the valley. The journey here is not easy, but it is worth it

A climb that is not too strenuous is rewarded with a wonderful view of the beautiful Lichtenstein Castle and invites you to take another walk.

Cliff point over looking schloss Lichtenstein in Reutlingen. Beautiful viewpoint for Autumn fall colours or sunsets. Inaccessible during winters or thick snowfall. Not for people with acrophobia (fear of heights)

If you come from below it's a bit difficult to reach with the bike, you need strength and experience on the slope with the bike, otherwise you could slip and fall, so otherwise just take the other way (can be accessed all the way by bike) otherwise beautiful sunset/rise very nice view

👍👍 The cave and its surroundings are a real recommendation. Its appearance differs significantly from the other "Albhöhlen" because it was created as a tuff cave. Cauliflower sinter is predominant as a stalactite. You feel like you're being wrapped in cotton wool inside. Very committed cave club. Our g...
