Went for Grimm Brothers festival. Nice afternoon and enjoyable show. Organised staff, food and drink reasonable. Good views from all around.

Nice theatre. While open air it has a roof that protects from rain. The piece we watched was nice but that depends on what you're watching

Oh boy it was hot. The stage was okey, acoustics average, seats had a soft layer definitely a plus. Parking was just outdoor area full of tiny stones that scratch easily the car (electric chargers 😂?). Biggest downside for us was that despite being outdoor, dogs are strictly forbidden. Outside of the amphitheater there is a park (would not walk there voluntarily).

Venue great for concerts. HOWEVER that's where it stops. We went to see the Gypsy Kings a week ago. No seats for a crowd of over 50 60 & 70. Queue management was non existent. Staff were uninterested in queue hoppers forcing their way past. High temperatures & nowhere to purchase water outside whilst waiting to get in. Venue away (15 min walk) from any markets or pubs. Come prepared with cold drinks for queueing but they search your bag on entry. They really have not thought about guests. 😨

Interesting stage. It works wonderfully with the plays. Decent and quick drinks or food. Seats were okay and the tent ambience works great even in full sunlight, I was never in direct sunlight but in broad daylight it just works. You can enjoy the plays without sweating and bring your drinks with. Decent Spielplatz nearby to keep the little ones busy after. Right on the river so it's a bit scenic.

"Die Hanauer Märchenfestspiele" are performances you should not miss. I haven't seen any play I didn't like. The actors can definitely compete with those by the English Theatre in Frankfurt.

I've been here for a few concerts and have always been impressed with how smoothly things run. I think of security people like I heard some people talk about kids when I was growing up, "They should be seen, but not heard." That's almost exactly what I've seen at the Amphitheater. You know they're there to keep everyone safe, not harass them ... All in all, I've enjoyed the times I've been here!!!

Apart from the fact that I needed to have a pee and couldn't find an open public toilet it was quite pleasant.. Even though there is quite a lot of renovation work taking place.
