Beautiful and peaceful temple. Must visit during Ramnavami period.there are good programs are arranged here during that period.It is quite famous due to its historical importance. I loved visiting here on weekends. The palace which is near this temple is also very beautiful.

Sri Ram mandir (Phaltan) Arguably the most peaceful place in the city. In fact the city is famous for the temple itself! You can actually get acquainted with it's beauty, splendor & history. The structure, environment and image of God Rama, gives you a soothing experience and makes your day & worth your time. Basically the temple is situated beside a busy market. Surrounding is quite busy on working days. You can tour to an influential temple nearby. With the help of Maps or locals you can reach easily. Unfortunately special parking space is not available as you have to park your car on the road side.

Beautiful temple with many other temples inside. The architecture is very beautiful. Wooden pillars and the handis(antique lamps hung on the ceiling) give the temple a typical old maharashtrian architecture feel. The whole area is quiet big and the idols are also very beautiful.

Main attraction of the temple is its beautiful walls, which are adorned with sculptures telling the tales of history. In The Garbhagriha there is beautiful statue of lord rama, lakshamana and seeta ma. The place is very well maintained and clean. Whole temple is built in wood and decorated with old beautiful lanterns. In the surrounding there is also ekmukhi Datta mandir and mahadeva mandir. It is said that it was the temple of Rajgharana. Now it's open for all. Most iconic place in phaltan.
