I never write reviews (like ever), but I felt compelled to write one for Four Humours after the incredible experience we had last night. Upon walking in, we could tell this place was quality. The design is gorgeous and it is so clean! The cocktails were absolutely delicious. My cocktail (Violet! You’re turning violet!) was the best I’ve ever had. It was beautiful curated and balanced. You could tell the owner and bartender took pride in their work. The bartender took time to talk with us and tell us about the cocktails and top-notch ingredients and liquors. We will most definitely be back!!

Outstanding service, drinks, and experience. Visited on a Friday afternoon with a group of out of town friends and had a blast. The cocktails were delicious, and food tasty too. But I really want to highlight the service - excellent the entire time. Definitely plan to be back.

This place is amazing. If you are looking for a local, real, elevated casual spot you have found it. I want to be selfish right now and not spread the word about this place but this is bigger than me. Character, quality and true relationships is what first impression leads me to say. Drinks here can stand up to anywhere in the city, hands down and balance is the name of the game. I appreciate the attention to detail and hope this place stands the test of time because I want to make this a staple of mine for years to come. Thank you for helping us have a great reintroduction to the experience of going out for a couple drinks.

Amazing service, drinks, and cozy environment. The ambiance was gorgeous, and easily the best old fashioned and sour I've ever had. Our server, Kai, was incredibly versed in the history and profile of the spirits. He has a great energy and we would've asked him to join our table if we could! Kinsey and Eight Oaks have unique spirits, and plan to make a trip to those distilleries after our trip to Four Humours. The Kinsey's whiskey chardonnay and scotch spirits are so interesting - definitely recommend trying their flights when you can!

The cocktails are fantastic but the experience is marred by the service every time I've visited. last visit on entry we were angrily asked if we had a reservation... for bar seats? Of which at least 6 were empty? All the tables were empty as well, so I'm not sure what we needed a reservation for. The next people who came in were not asked this. Once we got menus it was a full 10 mins for the bartender to return to take an order. And then we waited over 10 minutes for our drinks, even though there were 3 bartenders and a grand total of 8 people sitting at the bar. I get that those egg whites take time, but at nearly $20/drink with tip, it's a little ridiculous that service is so poor and the staff has such an attitude.

Incredible drinks! Amazing atmosphere!! Such professional service! Kai was an amazing bartender and we had such a wonderful date night. Definitely a place to bring your friends and special someone!

Top, top class. You simply just can’t get better than four humors. The drinks are arguably some of the best/freshest in the city..but that isn’t the best part. The environment and the friendliest staff make you feel like you’re home and mom is doing your laundry. Can’t get enough of this place. The only negative is that they aren’t open 7 days a week, 24 hrs a day.

High end cocktails in a sleek bar with amazing snacks. Possibly the best espresso martini ever made. Often has incredible food trucks visit with excellent options like empanadas tacos or coal fired pizza. Service is awesome and everyone is made to feel like a local.

This was the coolest experience I’ve had in a while. The staff is so knowledgeable and down to earth. You can tell they’re all so passionate about whiskey and the science behind it. Such an amazing environment. If you ain’t here, you’re making a mistake. Put this at the top of your to-do list! Like, now!

Drinks are top quality! Excellent place for Whisky and cocktail lovers! The food menu is very limited and not great for vegetarians (but they have a cheese plate!)

If your a local, this is your cocktail 🍸 bar. If your not, make the detour as it is worth it. The bar tenders focus hard on there craft and soon they’ll have their own product. They’ll blend a concoction that suits your unique taste.

Been a few times now. Not a cocktail expert but damn this is a cool place with a unique atmosphere. The staff are warm and welcoming. What keeps me coming back are the damned deviled eggs and the marinated olive snack. Never change!!!

One of my favorite spots in Philly. Dont get to visit enough. But truly terrific whiskeys, cocktails, and food! Supporter of local artists as well. 5 stars hands down!

Not only are these the best cocktails in Philly but they’re being made and served by the best people around. Kai & Petra are master cocktail makers and shakers. They make sure to have the freshest ingredients for their drinks daily. Ryan and Alissa are so dope as well. And anyone I haven’t formally met is awesome and brings phenomenal energy no matter what day of the week! Thanks for being the best neighborhood spot around!

Four Humours is the most incredible bar I’ve ever been to! Not only is the staff the kindest, most amazing people- they’re actual scientists the way they formulate these incredible drinks! I’ve never met people that care so much about the ingredients and freshness of cocktails. Go you’ll be very happy you did :)

The atmosphere is great here. The cocktails are great here whether you like whiskey or not. The peanut butter flip and the catabolic were our faves. Alissa took such good care of us. Would definitely return

Fantastic craft cocktails. They’re pricy, but you get what you pay for. The environment is super chill. However, the waiter cautioned that they get real busy on weekends and it can be hard to get in the door.

This place was awesome. Bartenders were friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed myself here. Alyssa the bartender made my experience memorable and she makes an awesome espresso martini. She puts love into every drink she made and you could tell each she every time

Snug and stylish place, with extremely masterful and caring staff. Their cocktails take fun twists on classics, and while most offerings are bourbon/whisky oriented there are some great gin cocktails like the Clover Cup. We didn’t get to the wine or snacks, but I have a feeling we’ll be back. Parking nearby is easy, definitely worth checking out this artisanal craft cocktail bar set in modern barrel style design. The owner works at the bar himself and he’s clearly an expert on what he’s doing. Had a great time with friends there!
