Really really great experience at Sosuite! I had to go to Philadelphia last minute and they had available rooms way cheaper than a lot of the hotels in the main area. I was only a 13 min ride by cab into town where all of the attractions were and also from the hospitals which is where I was most of the time I was there. Building is really nice, people were friendly and they have a bar/grill in the building right next door which has a great selection of tap beers and good food. My room was great: clean, great amenities and love the big factory windows. My room was a studio and it had everything. Looks exactly as advertised (pic attached is my personal pic I took.) Booking and check in/check out process was very easy and straight forward, all done via the site and text. Really liked the text updates they do. Would love to try out different rooms here next time I’m in Philly. It’s safe to say this is the place I will be staying whenever I’m in Philly.

The apartment was beautiful! It was impeccably clean with new or nearly new appliances and furniture. What we liked of all were the stunning views of the Philadelphia skyline and the Ben Franklin Bridge. The building itself was a very hip and cool former factory. We paid a little extra for parking on premises in a secure garage under the building and it was well worth it. Overall, the apartment was very reasonably priced compared to what it would cost to stay in comparable accommodations at a hotel or even an airbnb. I was with my wife and 11 year old daughter. I am originally from Philadelphia but have lived in the Virgin Islands for the past 12 years. We were extremely satisfied with Sosuite and we would definitely stay here again when in Philadelphia.

Pretty much everything about this place was terrible, unfortunately. Firstly, there was no one at the front desk to assist with check-in. When the person eventually arrived, they were completely unbothered and unenthusiastic, impolite, and possibly even high. Asking for simple instructions such as where the parking lot can be located seemed to be of extreme effort - he told me it was “round the back”; no directions given, no details that there is a keypad and no instructions on how to even use the keypad either. Also, the website says it is $15 per day for guests. That’s not true - I paid $20. The parking lot itself is also a hazard in my opinion. The space is so unbelievably tight and cars are jam packed in there like sardines. I witnessed multiple people struggle to get in, including myself. I wouldn’t be surprised if cars are regularly scratched in there because of how tight it is. The room was also disgustingly filthy. I found hairballs, dust balls, rice on the floor, and a powdery white substance on the living room table. I did not touch that. The room was so dirty that my white socks turned black with filth after walking around there for all of 5 minutes. The bedsheets also had ominous stains on them, and the couch was rancid with dust. I used the dirty sheet to sit on the couch - that’s how bad it was. The shower also barely had any power, and the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel was empty. Lastly, there was no checkout instructions. I had to call the helpline to figure out how to actually checkout. Had I not done this, I imagine I could have incurred additional costs. Note, the receptionist was not there upon checkout either. Overall, a terrible experience and if I could get a refund, I absolutely would 100%. Do not stay here.

I am not one for posting reviews often but I was so pleased with this booking. A single night, but they allowed me to check in early. The room was spotless and large - a great value for what I spent. I didn't use laundry or kitchen or fitness room but really liked knowing they were there. Would absolutely recommend...

This hotel was the best I've stayed at so far! It had a kitchen stocked with olive oil, salt, and pepper. The convenience of having a washer and dryer made my stay comfortable. The parking was easy to arrange at the front desk, and the fact that it's right behind the hotel was incredibly convenient. If I come to Philadelphia again, I'd love to stay at this modern hotel.

I was unaware that this place was in this neighborhood. It was new to me. There were people hanging out in front that were a bit questionable, yet friendly.. The room was so nice. It fed my artist self. Love the high ceilings and the kitchen!!!! Also the bed and the washer and dryer in the bathroom!!! What????The huge windows made my morning so calm from the sunlight as well!!!One suggestion. Put a reminder that the A and B rooms are inside of the doorway. I never opened the door because it just had a number without a letter..

This was a nice place to stay with my toddlers and husband while we were in Philly. Great location and there’s an amazing bar on the first floor. The rooms are big and spacious. Ours had a home feel with a kitchen, storage, refrigerator, two separate bedrooms, a living room, dining area with chairs, even a washer/dryer! It’s unlike anywhere else we’ve stayed. It’s also pet friendly but you’d never know because it’s really clean. Definitely have to stay here next time we are in Philly!

The trip and experience was great. I booked for a birthday and it was a perfect location for all the activities I had planned. The front desk was so nice and helpful. The room was cozy and filled with all that was needed for the trip. My only cons were one in the room I had booked there was something brown splashed up on the ceiling/stain and it didn’t look great at all and the weed smell was overwhelming and permeated the room from other guests. There was a no smoking policy posted. I suffer from chronic migraines and that is one of my triggers, smoking so that wasn’t too fun but other than that I would most likely book again. The room was a whole vibe and the view was great! Great photo opportunities in the room and throughout the building! I really like the codes in and out and checking in and out was seamless I felt like I was on a mission…Ha! The birthday boy loved it and was in total shock he had no clue what he was walking into from the outside.

I have traveled to Philadelphia for medical visits, several times, in the last 3 years. It has been a daunting process trying to find somewhere to fit my needs. Then I found Sosuite at Independence Lofts. I have not been happier since I found them. The location is great. It’s so close to all my Doctors. I hope to stay there every time I head to Philadelphia in the future. My family and I feel safe with the private and gated garage. The lofts feel so homey. We are always greeted with coffee and snacks. The beds are comfortable as well. The staff at Sosuite are so accommodating and reply to messages rather quickly. A plus to our stay is the restaurant that is located in the same building. The burgers do not disappoint.

Very spacious and stylish space large enough for a group of 6 plus 2 dogs! We will definitely be booking these suites again the next time we are in Philly. The customer service was amazing and response time was so fast for all my questions and concerns after I booked the suite. I was able to add an early check-in and confirm my booking details. It’s also great to have such a clean and large space that accommodates dogs! Not to mention they provided water bowls, treats, and poop bags for our pets’ stay! The space itself was impressive with 3 large bedrooms all with their own desk and the master bedroom had its own full bathroom. The location itself was also great and we all felt very safe walking around the surrounding neighborhood. No complaints for this loft and we will definitely be back again!

Room was super clean with exquisite design and comfort. Very spacious with high ceilings, perfect for a group to lounge and enjoy each other's company. For tourists, I might recommend spending a bit more to be in Center City itself, as this is a bit on the north side, but it is still quite easy to get into the city either by foot, subway, or car/Uber

I highly recommend the 2 bedroom apartment with full kitchen! It was spacious, fully furnished, well stocked with glasses, cookware and the beds were totally comfortable! The view at night is amazing. The kitchen was well stocked, the Reading Terminal Farmers Market was 15 min walk away. Great location for foodies and concert goers, found excellent Mexican and American BBQ restaurants two blocks away. Chinatown is nearby as well. I'm glad I paid for the private parking in the building. I always had a space and it was very secure. Sosuite staff were all friendly and very helpful! Sosuite is our favorite place in PHL!

Incredible location and very kind front desk staff. Support leading up to the stay was amazing and added on-site parking was extremely convenient and worth the daily cost for peace of mind. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. The attached restaurant, The Institute, was delicious. My wife and I ate there most of our meals during our stay in the city.

The views were beautiful! Big and spacious rooms. Having a large car in the parking garage was a challenge but overall excellent experience. The restaurant downstairs was a plus!

We had a really nice stay with SoSuite in Philadelphia. The neighborhood is definitely improving and there are some good bar and restaurant options in easy walking distance. The condo was awesome. Very clean and comfy beds. The service was good and very responsive. The check-in instructions didn’t arrive ahead of our arrival but the owners sent them immediately upon contact.

Very beautiful hotel. While having an online check in was nice, it could definitely be improved. There was nothing on my page about my parking reservation. Check out was also odd. While the no contact check in/out was nice, with COVID being over, it would be nice to also have the ability to check in/out at the front desk.

Lovely stay. Just like the photos - even better, to be honest. White noise machine, kitchen ware, olive oil, complimentary snackies. Wonderful location. Very thankful for this home base during our trip.

The room was spacious. The view was nice. You could hear anybody being loud in the hallways through the paper-thin doors which was super annoying. Coffee machine was broken, we informed the front desk, they did nothing about it despite saying they were going to get us a new coffee maker. The bathroom ceiling had a significant leak all over the counter and floor in two spots. You can tell it has been this way for a while by looking at the paint bubble across the ceiling and down the wall behind the mirror. They offered me another room in a building 8 minutes driving across town which I refused. The new unit wasn't nice and the location wasn't where I wanted to be so they offered me a whopping 80 dollars credit instead.

First time in Philly and was a good experience. Room was clean and as advertised. Location was fine - within manageable walking distance to most places if you're up for 2-3 miles round trip. Only negative I had was the private rooftop deck. Was flooded when we arrived and the wooden tiles placed on the roof were broken and/or missing. No big deal for me since we didn't use it but could look into tightening up that area.

Excellent Stay here at Sosuite ! I stayed in Philly and the aparthotel was amazing! Huge lofty ceilings, everything done on the mobile device, Roku for TV watching, humongous windows!, great view of the city and the best prices around! Bar and restaurant downstairs was excellent! Will return!

Quick walk to many attractions, beautifully decorated. A safe building, and easy parking. A little too sparse for our liking, as one of our children had to sleep on the couch and there were no spare blankets.

Stayed here for a short trip in Philly. We had to bring our small dog, the pet fee was very cheap compared to hotels! The view was amazing and the room was nice and clean. I had forgotten a shirt after we checked out and they texted me letting me know and I was able to pick it up! Does not compare to regular hotel rooms, I wish they had more locations!

Great location and great unit! Lots of space, very clean, comfy beds - even had a Keurig with coffee pods, creamer, and sweeteners! The only slight drawbacks were the lack of shades/privacy screens for the windows (the front bedroom was very bright in the morning, which was fine for us because we were early risers, but might not be ideal for non-morning folks!) and the low water pressure in the showers, but everything else was great!

The rooms were nice. The neighborhood was decent. Check in and out was easy. Prices were typical for the city and we booked late. My reason for the three stars though is that the couch was just completely covered in stains and they charge a 65 dollar cleaning fee. For that much you need to clean the couch. Little stain remover and a carpet cleaner and you wouldn’t have this review. Also the lobby smelled terribly of urine. Other than that it was a nice enough place for Philly.

They day of arrival I noticed that our check in time was updated on the portal to a later time without my knowledge. I had to reach out to have this corrected. However, our room was not available at our scheduled check in time and we had to wait in the hallway. Once we were settled in we noticed a strong smell of cigarette smoke. Not being a smoker this was disgusting to me. We thought it was coming from outside because the windows were open. Once the windows were closed overnight the smell did not disappear. We later discovered that it was coming from the bathroom vent. When I reported this because I did not want to be held accountable there was nothing that was done to resolve this matter. The state of the rooms were also dirty and very used with scuffs and dents all over. Not as nice as the pictures.

The biggest draw is that the windows and view are gorgeous. Alas, there is little soundproofing between units and could hear every word from my neighbor, who had friends over against the rental policy. They were going strong even past 5am and my sleep was extremely scarce. When I brought this up with management they were nothing but dismissive, and offered me 20 dollars as a refund for my heavily marked up 500 dollar room. Their replies were the embodiment of ‘sorry you feel that way.’ The coffee and tea available in the room was *deeply* old and nasty, there was an alarming amount of hair and dust in my bed which made me think the sheets weren’t fresh. That thought was confirmed when I saw little red flecks on one of the pillows. I had a late check-in and the process of how everything works is so 1. Unconventional, 2. poorly communicated and a very reluctant participant, the doorman of the building, who is apparently in no way affiliated with Sosuite, had to show me how to get inside through much obvious frustration and disinterest. Everything about this entire experience felt so very contemptuous. Worst stay I’ve ever had by miles.
