Requested room not available when we arrived despite having reserved. Online shows rooms available, but customer service says it will not be honored "because we are fully booked". No offer to try to recover service. Simply a "take it or leave it" attitude for the leftover room. Other couples in line were offered a choice. My partner and I both felt that we would not have received such poor service if we were a straight couple. Don't stay here. Not LGBT friendly. I appreciate the honesty of the customer service person who noted that the website *will* sell rooms that are unavailable. Reading the other reviews, it seems this is an ongoing problem with no intent from management to improve things. Also, requesting room cleaning or other amenities is like shouting into the void. Go to the desk and wait if you want something accomplished.

Did not stay at the hotel itself but went to a conference here and they had it set up pretty well. I don’t know if I would want to be a regular guest staying here during a conference because it seemed like utter chaos all the time. Nonetheless it was nice having the bar right when you walk in. The food there is not bad, the drinks are a bit pricey but good and it’s a nice atmosphere overall. I will say one of our friends that was a guest in the hotel waited 11 minutes for an elevator, so do with that info what you will. There’s escalators for the conference section so this was avoidable most of our trip.

We stayed here over the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel is located in the middle of everything. All bars, stores, restaurants and famous buildings are walking distance from the hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the rooms need an upgrade. Our bathroom was ok. The light switch was messed up and there were some stains in the shower. And let me tell you about the bed, it’s the worst hotel bed we have ever slept on. My husband and I woke up with back pain everyday. We had to ask for extra pillows to see if that would make it comfortable but it didn’t help at all. The noise level in the hallway was kind of loud. Overall, i give this hotel 2 stars for the location and amenities.

Terrible shower, no water pressure. Visible dirt on bed side table. Stained towels. Very long check in time. Missing toiletries on first day. Ridiculously overpriced restaurant and bar. Even the tv doesn’t work well, it constantly stutters. The room was spacious and mostly quiet, except for the guest stamping around above.

Did run into a few problems while staying here. Just a heads up make sure you pull the address from your reservation, if not you will end up on a side street of the hotel. They are trying to fix this!! 4-star Hotel. Located next to a wide variety of places to go see and things to do. My visit was in late fall November. So yes it's cold outside and freezing inside the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice. The water pressure was horrible. I was attending a conference for a short 3-day period. So the room we were in had no heat. It was frozen feet and cold hands. Best to layer up on clothes when attending an indoor event at a 4-star hotel. The lobby and the floors I was on or went through were clean and never saw trash piled up anywhere. Felt comfortable traveling in around the hotel. Restaurant 13, is not too bad. A little pricey for breakfast. Best order from the menu. And then you do have a Star Bucks, Cafe Pantry, and bar type set up in the middle of the courtyard area. Easy access to the Hard Rock Cafe and just a little walk to some great restaurants outside. The low Star rating is based on disrupted sleep due to being above the ballroom and music blasting to late hours of the night. To freezing in a conference room where the heat didn't seem to matter to them. And poor water pressure for taking that nice quality time shower. If you take notes and ask for adjustments in room location your stay may just be better. Visit during the warmer time of the year and you may not worry about freezing at your event. Management did listen to me at check out and remained fair that time. Still, the experience was not what I was expecting it to be.

The front lobby may look like a 4-star hotel, but the rooms look like a 2-star hotel. First, it’s November, and the whole hotel is absolutely freezing cold, like most people are walking around in coats and boots cold. My room was set to 65 degrees when I arrived. Who turns on the A/C when it’s 40 degrees outside? Next parking, the valet lot was blocked off so we had to park at the parking garage across the street which is much more expensive. The room is nothing special, the windows are very dirty, and there is a large stain on the floor in front of the bed. The pillows are terrible and flatten as soon as to lay your head on them. Unlike the freezing hotel, the shower is hot enough to give you second degree burns and takes about 4-5 minutes to cool down to a reasonable temperature. On a positive note I do appreciate having a smart tv in my room, and the hotel is walking distance from some nice restaurants. If you’d like to spend some time in a place that has a working heater check out Iron Hill Brewery across the street.

Location is excellent and the staff are fantastic! The rooms though - we had to be moved to another room because the thermostat broke and wouldn't stop pumping cold air into the room - then hot air. Aside from that the rooms are good - but no fridge? What's the story with that? Its a common amenity and for some reason they don't offer it. No fridge in the room is a pain. Beautiful place, pricing is above average to slightly high for what you get in the room. Would love to come back.

Excellent service as soon as you walk into their shuttle and until you say goodbye. The front desk personnel is personable, friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant and bar staff are exceptional, especially Nicole. The two times I ate/drank at the bar Nicole gave the best experience. She took care of each individual and made sure their experience at the Sheraton in Downtown Philadelphia was exceptional. I will definitely return and I recommend this hotel/restaurant to everyone visiting the area or anyone wanting to spend some time in the downtown area. Also the hotel is absolutely downtown around everything you want to experience.

This hotel needs a serious facelift. Was just there for a conference and the price I paid for a room was not proportional to the quality we received. The bathroom always smelled like sewer gas when the sink was turned on. During the 4 nights we stayed there, 2 of the 4 nights had noise issues. Every elevator needs new flooring which is very dated but more importantly filthy. Our IT was practically archaic for many of the conference sessions. The gym has outdated equipment some of which was broken and could not be easily used. The in room safes would take a magician to use as my husband nor I could not operate it nor could our friends in a different room. I am not impressed with this hotel and likely would not stay there again without significant improvements. The best thing about our stay was traveling to an Italian restaurant in South Philly.

Hotel staff friendly and Helpful.. The hotel is under construction is and remodeling but for the price you pay for a central city hotel its worth the money. They should advertise on their website that the pool is closed for construction. The hotel is located in downtown area and as such there is a homelessness problem. However, this does not affect the inside of the hotel, the hotel cannot control this as that is a city wide problem and security at the hotel was adequate. The hotel manager gave us a great tip on a bus service called Mega bus to go into New York City for the day. It was easy and convenient and much less expensive than the train but an upgrade from public transport or the greyhound bus.

I will absolutely stay here again. Amazing building with vast amenities. Adult friendly from what I can tell, was not sure about bringing the whole family. Pool was a lap pool but there’s an onsite arcade and bowling alley, plus 3 bar-restaurants. It’s in the heart of Philly near Reading Terminal Market and the fashion district. Valet was insanely quick. My room was beautiful and clean. Service was FAST and pleasant.

Best center city location for play or work. Very large upscale hotel. Valet parking is available and necessary as the area has no street parking. Check in was slow with only 2 front desk employees. The first room I was assigned had a door lock issue that would not allow me to access the room. The in-house telephone on the floor hallway did not work. I had to go back to the reception area to be assigned another room. The room was nice and clean with no issues. The swimming pool area was very nice and appealing. Unfortunately, immediately after I arrived, a father with 2 small children arrived only to start constantly screaming and yelling. The noise was so discomforting that I was forced to leave. The pool attendant was very nice and apologize d for the racket. Despite the fact that my floor had 5 elevator shafts only 1 or 2 were in operation. In one instance, we waited for more than 10 minutes for an elevator that never came. We ended up walking down 11 floors to the lobby.

Overall nicely kept hotel with average rooms. Beds in the double room I stayed in were full size and of decent comfort. Elevators unfortunately get tied up easily when the hotel is busy and often you can end up waiting over ten minutes just to squeeze into one you'd rather not under normal circumstances. Location is prime of course.

Booked a 4-night stay but had travel delays and arrived a day (24hrs) late. My booking for the 3 remaining nights was cancelled without my knowing (some policy or terms & conditions). But you also can't edit a booking if it's within 72hrs of your stay. Management was very understanding and luckily found me an alternative room. Wonderful staff and room cleaning

Overall mildly satisfying experience for me. The app to unlock your hotel door (and the elevator) worked 1 out of 10 times, making getting a physical key a necessity. Also, was on the 14th floor and it took at least 5 minutes to get hot water in the shower, with very little pressure, (although my friend had normal pressure in her room in another aisle on another floor so maybe I was just unlucky on that). People downstairs were very polite and efficient, great job! However, looking at the ratio price over satisfaction, not sure I would go there again.

Didn't stay in a room but was there for a conference. It was a beautiful setting in a perfect location (just a block away from reading terminal market!). I can't say enough good things about the staff: they were friendly, helpful and kept everything clean and tidy. There's no way they're being paid enough cuz they all were working SO hard to ensure we all had a pleasant time.

This hotel was good but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. When I walked into the lobby it was easy to tell that this was a chain. The room was quite smaller than I imagined it to me, especially having seen the pictures online as well. The hotel was overall clean and staff were friendly. But, there wasn't anything above and beyond at this hotel that made the experience a 5 star.

The location is really good. The check in process was quick and friendly even though the entrance feels like Grand Central Station. We had a corner room which was quite spacious though the beds were doubles rather than queens. The pillows weren't fantastic, the bathroom door lock was broken, but the shower was nice and no bathtub which i love!

So I’m titanium elite. I’ve never stayed at a full-service Marriott that breakfast was not included. They have a concierge lounge they don’t have an M club and to top it off is closed for the weekend doesn’t open again until Sunday. I will say the lounge is big and nice and the staff very friendly. In the description of the hotel they need to let their titanium elite members know that breakfast is never included on the weekends, In lieu of no breakfast they give you 1000 Marriott points, which is what worth five dollars. Oh, and they have lots of places to have breakfast at the hotel but they’re sure not gonna give a titanium elite member free breakfast which is one of the privileges. I will never be staying here again. The hallways are old and outdated. At least they did update the room. Then to make matters even worse room service stops at 11 o’clock. I crawled into bed and the comforter is like having a sheet only, super thin, it’s hard to believe this is a Marriott hotel. Great location not much else to say it’s kind of a Souless hotel. If they offer to upgrade you to the notary, next door, take it. Also be prepared the elevators are slow as hell. It’s a convention hotel, so you know how that goes.

I and my family where so disapointed with our entire stay First I called the hotel directly to upgrade to a suite. Then when we arrived I was told they didn't have any information on our up graded room,? Seems that they lost it Then they gave us keys to a room that was already occupied and have bags in the room then we had to go back to registration to get a new room. Fortunately they had a handicap room that I needed for my wife who has multiple sclerosis and need to shower chair. Well guess what? The room was handicap accessible no shower chair and I had no shower chairs available at the hotel. Next shall we talk about the $60 and a day parking fee. I felt like a tourist who is being held upside down and the hotel we're shaking me to get every coin out of my pockets. So other than an hour and a half to check in. with third world GrubHub room service. It's not a bad place. Also the beds where not comfortable. The only positive thing I can say is that the people workers that took care of us with our car and baggage where the most helpful and hardest workers there Period. Such a shame for a supposedly first class hotel. I also like calling them on the phone and listening to a computer voice trying to tell me to apply for the Marriott American Express credit card. Or to hang on after the call. To fill out a survey nothing like spending 20 minutes on the phone before you get a live person to make a reservation or a change. I would not recommend the Marriott and I'm 65 years old this is my first negative review on any place I've ever been to and it's all true sadly

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The front desk staff was extremely helpful, Latonya was very pleasant and helped me a lot to accommodate my disability request with an appropriate room. The room was beautiful, large with a nice view and had all the required amenities for a deluxe hotel. There are restaurants and a Starbucks in the lobby and the hotel is tight in the city center within walking distance from all the attractions. Highly recommended.

Hotel I'm giving 4 stars.. Unfortunately outside of the hotel is a different story. I know Marriott can't control the negativity outside of their Philly location but the homeless folks are a eye sore. Note: They didn't bother me or my guests but it should be brought to the cities attention for public assistance. Other then that my overall experience was pleasant.

Gorgeous hotel very conveniently located in downtown Philadelphia. Walking distance from Reading Terminal, Macy's, and nice restaurants. Nice restaurants inside as well. I used the extensive fitness center daily, and the meeting rooms were beautiful. I'll be sad to leave on Friday! 😊

We came here for a convention. It was conveniently located just across the street from the convention center. The staff was friendly but the valet parking crew weren't very efficient and we waited in line for about a half hour and parking is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE! The front desk was helpful and efficient. The room was clean a d the AC worked but couldn't be adjusted below 70 degrees. Their service was great and when we left out the do not disturb sign they would call to check if we wanted maid services. We stayed 5 days and were comfortable 😌. It is situated right in down town and was convenient for walking to about anywhere we wanted to go. We feel like we can recommend this place.

Very nice hotel. Staff was Very Friendly and helpful. Valets, Doormen, Bell Hops, Desk clerks, Housekeeping always cheerful and greeting you asking if you need help. (Adria greeted us at the front door when we arrived and started helping us from the get. She even insisted on grabbing our bags from the trunk.) Waiters at the restaurant in the Lobby were awesome (especially Altin and Edward) I wish I could remember all their names of the rest of the staff to put in a good word for all of them. As far as the hotel itself: Clean, and nice with good views. Centrally located in the city. Next to the Reading Terminal Market(Best eats in town). Convenient to the subway. walking distance to Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Walking distance to City Hall and Convention Center,

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Great location. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a nice view. Lots to do in the area. We went for a work event but had one day to relax and see the sights. We would definitely go back to this hotel again. Very nice staff.

Luxury hotel in the heart of the city. Very large property with several amenities including indoor swimming pool and bowling center. Take public transportation to the hotel or you will have to pay to park as there isn't any street parking. The front reception desk was understaffed and I waited about 15 minutes to check in. The room lock/key card to my room didn't work so I was reassigned another room. It took about 30 minutes to straight out the problem. The room was large and clean with a nice view. The swimming pool area is inviting. The elevator system was poor. We always had to wait several minutes for the elevator to arrive. On one occasion, we waited at least 10 minutes for an elevator that never came. We ended up walking down 11 flights of stairs to the hotel lobby. I didn't eat or drink in the hotel.

I stayed here as part of a conference group. The room was pretty comfortable. I wish the bathroom was cleaned more thoroughly. Upon my arrival I noticed it was not entirely clean, as I found a couple of hairs in the shower. The location is fantastic, close to the Reading Market and many more stores to shop within a few blocks.

I stayed here for 4 nights for a conference. Where do I begin? Few things to start: the dead bolt on my door was completely broken (see photo), they force you to become a Bonvoy member to even use the Wifi, and I was placed in a connecting room which was not requested (my neighbors were loud). Otherwise, things went okay and I appreciated how kind and hospitable the staff were.

Everything about this hotel was great. From check-in to check out, I enjoyed my stay. The only issue I had was with the elevators. I went during one of the busiest times of the year. There was a conference in the area so the hotel was completely booked. At times, it took the elevator 10-15 minutes to get to my floor. But it would already be full, so I'd have to wait for another. I was on the 15th floor, so taking the stairs just hurt to think about. Overall this place is great. They have Room service, a bar/restaurant on-site, Great views if historical landmanrks, shopping, more restaurants nearby, and a FedEx onsite.

Have stayed here a number of times when visiting Philly. Location is great. Near the Amtrak station, near the subway, and close to the Linc. If you are used to or you like American downtown areas, this is the place for you. There is plenty of energy - think stereotypical Northeast energy. Plenty of homeless and outdoor musicians. Also, a LOT of dining options in walking distance. A short UBER ride to the rest of the City, including the amazing Fishtown restaurants. I honestly have never looked into the amenities of the hotel outside of my room, because there is so much to do in Philly. Also, have to give a shout out to the staff. They are great!

The concierge staff is amazing! Justin, Betsy, and Howie were just the most genuinely kind and welcoming team I've met in a LONG time. I've been traveling for 25+ years for work, and pretty much live out of hotels every week. Coming into the concierge lounge it felt as if I was visiting my family. I cannot stress what an asset your concierge lounge staff team is to travelers who live on the road and just want a sense of normalcy of coming home. Can't wait to come back again!

Just an average hotel. Didn’t really stand out in any way. Rooms were nothing to write home about. House keeping came so late in the day that I just never knew when I could nap before turndown service. Hotel bar was nice but expensive with limited options. Not every women’s bathroom has sanitary disposal boxes, which was disappointing. Overnight parking was roughly $60 a night. Location was very good though. It is in the center of everything, and it’s a pretty close walk to a lot of Philly’s attractions.

Nice American hotel . Room was big and clean , bathroom was nice sized . Only quip was the water pressure in the shower was limp . Asked them to fix it and think they came over , but still the same . The vending machine on the floor , for some reason pushes out warm soda ... considering Americans love their soda ice cold. I liked the staff though ... I did notice that every one of them was African American, not sure if intentional or not , but being a inner city hotel, they must have hired locally . Regardless , that's a good move , as the staff were lovely and provided top notch service .. if there was a single reason to return it's the staff .

Got a handicapped accessible room. Shower stall used to have a shower bench, which was no longer attached to the wall, but the six screw holes were still visible. The water pressure in the shower was abysmal. Temperature was fine, but there was hardly any pressure at all. Fist sized hole behind the door, where someone had knocked in the door stop, and it was just never replaced. Staff at the desk were friendly, but definitely swamped and understaffed. There were two distinct conferences going on, one across the street, and one in the hotel proper. And there was only a single dude working vallet. Massive wait times and delays. Room was clean, bed was fine, plenty of room and grab bars for getting around and transferring in and out of a wheelchair. The sheer convenience of the skybridge connecting the hotel to the convention center completely overruled any misgivings I had previously. I have been spit on, harassed, and followed several times while walking back to a different hotel at night, from the convention center. The skybridge eliminates all that.

Shout out to Zariah for helping me get a room. She was very nice and had a nice attitude. She gave me a room in the newly renovated building when I asked for an upgrade. For it to be 11pm she still had a lot of energy and a smile!

Great location with things in walking distance , service was great, valet parking a plus! Pool on the 7th floor was nice, lap type pool but kids had fun. Restaurant and Bar in the hotel was nice, kids and adults enjoyed liberty lanes inside as well! All around nice place.

A beautiful place. I didn't like that the alarm went off on Saturday and again on Sunday waking us up. Also, our key would not work because the battery died in the door handle, and we sat outside of our room for over an hour for someone to come up and fix it. We stayed on the 16th floor!! To top it off, I wasn't feeling well and had to sit on the floor by our door. However, our stay in Philadelphia was wonderful

The place is pretty basic and seems old and dirty. Service was variable; some people were polite, others were apathetic. They have a bartender (Dana) who not only has a nasty attitude, but is blatantly disrespectful and rude to custumers. I feel sorry for her. She does come across as a particularly miserable worker. The room are not the cleanest, though the housekeeping services are daily so that helps. The hotel is very expensive; you're mainly paying for location.

Full service huge Marriott downtown. Rooms are good sized but dated, shower was tight for me being a larger person. We had several alarms at night which was frustrating and loud. We ate at the restaurant one evening which was standard fare. We had nightcaps at the bar which was very good and not too expensive. Valet parking is expensive but worth it. Neighborhood has a lot of homeless folks around but nobody bothered us when we were out. Breakfast next-door at Reading Market is recommended.

Typical Marriott property. Aged property with a few upgrades. Wifi works well through the hotel. Ice on many floors. Small fridge and safe in room. Full length mirror and good lighting in bathroom. You must pay for parking as it's in the city center. Room was fairly quiet (7th floor).

We stayed in the Marriott while in the city for the Marathon. The hotel was great. Check-in was a bit of a chore, but to be expected with the volume of people checking in, not unexpected. I'm only going to comment on the amenities we used. They have a nice little convince store in the lobby with drinks, snacks, desserts, and hot food. The gym is top-notch with plenty of weight training and cardio equipment and an absolutely awesome Soda Stream water station. Room service was quick and good. All around, we had a great experience.

Was here in August with the family for 4 days and it was not as bad as some reviewers described. There are homeless people outside the surrounding areas of the hotel, but that didn't bother us that much as this is expected of any big city. You just have to be aware of your surroundings just as if you're on vacation in any big cities and/or tourist sites. It's in the city center so you're walking distance from the Reading terminal, Chinatown, etc. For farther sites, we just called Uber. Although the hotel lobby was noisy and filled with guests, our room on the 10th/fl was actually very quiet. We did not plan to take our car out the entire duration of the trip so we did not use their valet parking, and instead parked 3 blocks down at the indoor parking garage next to the Hilton Garden Inn at 1100 Arch Street. It's only $40 a day and you just need to find a spot that doesn't have the "reserved parking" sign. There are no in/out privileges, and you'll have to pay when you leave and re-enter.

My husband and I have been traveling through several north east states. This was by far the nicest hotel we stayed at. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. No noise disturbances. Not to mention the location was perfect. We were able to walk to most of our destinations. The restaurant was delicious and Starbucks was also a bonus.

It is my first experience at the Marriott Downtown and it has been very poor. First, the elevators have at least a 20-minutes wait. Second, there is no room service at all. Third, there is no restaurant open within the hotel that serves food. Fourth, the customer service has overall been very poor. I am very disappointed and would rather not stay at a marriott hotel going forward. We understand the Covid-19 Pandemic, but as a business, you are in an industry where other competitors offer better service and courtesies even with the current pandemic. There is no excuse for the lackluster service.

Paid a significant amount of money for a high room with a view only over the hotel itself and other amenities in the room which were not available to us. Was put in a room right next to the stairs in a high leveled room. Could hear every person coming through the stairs door up until 3am…. Not sure why anyone would walk 15+ flights up. The sound from the door was so loud, and shook our door that it sounded like someone was coming in the entire night. The valet parking is very slow, it took 15/20 minutes just for someone to take the car and park it. Besides all of this, the hotel staff was very nice.

Beautiful room and accommodations. However the bed was very firm. Room safe was inoperative. Ice machine on floor not working. Reported it but nothing done for 4 days and soda machine right next to it dispenses Warm Soda. But location can't be beat. Connects to convention center and Reading Terminal across the street

I stayed here for a two- day work retreat. The only positive was that the people who worked here were really nice and accommodating. Parking was a nightmare, even for those who arrived early. The food was hit or miss-- either there were a number of really tasty options, or everything was gross, depending on the meal. My room was ok, but there was hair everywhere that could not have been mine and I couldn't make the room cool enough to be comfortable. Overall, it seemed like they couldn't professionally handle the amount of people we had there.

Excellent service from check in to check out. Valet at arrival was efficient and friendly. Thelma at the concierge desk was accommodating, informative and her lovely personality set the tone for our visit. Our bellman, Mohammad, was also courteous and went out of his way and brought us ice. Valet, Iva, was super fast retrieving our vehicle. Would definitely recommend and but stay again when visiting Philadelphia.

I must say this hotel didn't disappoint. Spent the weekend in Philly for my birthday and actually had another hotel booked for a night. I was very disappointed in that establishment and opted to book with Marriot. It was a busy weekend for many entities and this hotel managed them all very well. The one issue I had was when booking there's an option for early check in...its not guaranteed and they should state that. We went to check in expecting a room available and it wasn't. And to add we waited many hours for a room to be available. We were supposed to be alerted when the room was ready and were never notified. Just clean up that portion

This place is huge. It conveniently has a Starbucks in the lobby. A pretty decent gym. Staff in the lobby are extra kind. My stay here for a wedding was no problem. The rooms are equipped in a way to make things easier for you electronically. Elevators kind of take a while but overall a great experience.

This hotel is perfectly located. Couple blocks away from the city hall building and about a mile away from the rocky stairs. Plenty of historical buildings within a half mile walk of the hotel. It's next to chinatown, and a number of other restaurants nearby. If you get a top floor room the view up here is amazing. I happened to get a corner room and got a nice view of the city. Room is clean and bed was very comfortable. The only complaint is you could hear a lot of noise of things happening outside. When you're in the center of town it's going to be rustling and bustling. But it wasn't constant. You could definitely hear the music and the motorbike gangs riding several blocks away.

Recently visited to attend the Philadelphia Comic Con at the Convention Center. The location of the hotel is a short walk from the Convention Center which is great, but you have to accept that traffic is a mess downtown. Parking can be a problem too if there are multiple conventions going on. The hotel is big and beautiful and the rooms are very nice. My only complaint is that the room had two FULL SIZED beds; not queen sized as you might expect. If you're young and slim, or you really like to cuddle, then this won't be a problem. If not, one person per bed should be your limit.

Great place to stay if your are going to convention center, the location is convenient. The rooms were nice and daily room cleaning was prompt..only complaint was the fridge wasn’t cleaned out previous guest left unopened beer. The food in lobby was pretty good.

This Marriott is one of the cleaner nicer ones. Only gave 4 stars for service bc of having to wait 20 minutes for the valet to get my car. The valet guys were all awesome, engaging and personable, better than the front desk staff. It was just they were very busy but I'm not sure why you wouldn't plan on being busy in the morning when guests are checking out.

Excellent experience from check-in to checkout... Great lobby restaurant/bar-Frank the bartender is awesome! Largest concierge lounge I have seen at a Marriott. Ambassador welcome gift was a nice box with smoked gouda and other snacks-class act. Love being across the street from the Reading Market!

Stayed a night here. Nice room, good size, great bathroom. Bed was nice, plenty of storage. There were some issues, the in room safe was broken and the TV kept freezing every few minutes which was annoying. The staff was very nice. Overall, happy with my stay at the Philly Marriott, would stay here again.

Location is superb. While this Location is the best, the hotel service and presentation leave more to be desired. Ideal location or being in the heart of center city, however the property could do more interviewing with staff for customer service.

The hotel is perfectly located next to the convention center and the Reading Terminal Market. But the best thing about it so far has been the check-in experience with Nathan who was super friendly and super helpful. I would rate the hotel five stars just based on our interaction checking in with Nathan’s help.

I don’t usually write reviews but can’t help myself from sharing my pleasant experience at this hotel We stayed for the weekend for vacation and checked in on Saturday am; Service was good from the bell person, front desk staff, to housekeeping. The front desk staff was pleasant and offered to help when I was about to go back to the regular line after realizing I was on the line for “elite members” only 😀 The bell person at the lobby helped to store our carry ons and to unlock the restroom door for us while we were waiting for our room Our room was extremely clean and comfortable when we checked into our room after a long trip! The housekeeping lady gave us a warm greeting when we stepped out of our room the morning. Good 👍 job Marriott!

I was there for a conference and the conference was well setup with easy navigation and adequately hosted the many separate meetings that took place as part of the conference simultaneously. The Franklin hall was spacious enough to accommodate the display and efficient viewing of hundreds of poster presentations.

Rooms are nice and clean, location is perfect. Checked in at 1pm so that process was a breeze. Didn’t use the pool but it was super outdated, no safe in the room or microwave. Elevators took forever, waited 15 min just to have to walk down 11 flights of steps. Had to take the steps twice or walk to the elevators on the opposite side of the hotel just to get up or down during my entire stay. My biggest issue was no microwave in the room. I always get food from the reading and save some for leftovers but The whole hotel shares one microwave that’s located in the dirty laundry room and takes 3 min for ur food to barely be warm and u have to wait in line. At 2am it took an extra 30 min out of my night just to warm up my food :( I was really excited for this stay but I will not being staying here again
