“all information about city at one place” - stop by... get refreshed... they have reception where you can all information about city/tours/guides/hotels. you can buy the tickets, book hotels, rent a bike. They have a gift shop and they keep some really fascinating item and yes, they have rocky balboa. ;)

This was a bit anticlimactic. Not really much to see and no explanations of some things. I really wouldn't go out of my way to see this like we did in the heat walking there. Waste of time to be honest.

No cost to wander through this courtyard behind the post office and printing press to see labeled diggings of Benjamin Franklin's former home including where is kitchen and toilet were. I'm sure many have walked by and through this courtyard without realizing the small structures with windows looks down into the archeological dig.

I’ve always liked Franklin Court. I grew up going often. I hadn’t been there since their renovations a few years back. I must say I was disappointed. While I realize that the place was in need of updating, I was disappointed that the place in my opinion, has lost its family friendliness. It used to be such a fun, exciting, colorful, and hugely interactive place to visit. I miss the movie, the “show” with the little figures, the large kid-friendly exhibit, the music and sounds. Now, even with the $5.00 entrance fee, it seems like it’s a very quiet place for old folks. I don’t think it seems fun for kids anymore. Throughout the years I used to love taking young kids there as I was also taken there as a young child but I believe I’ve seen my last visit.

This is a fun free activity for tourists staffed by the National Parks Service. The staff puts on a great demonstration, in fun costumes, with an old-fashioned printing press. Overall, I highly recommend it for any tourists in Philadelphia.

A must see while in Philadelphia. Sucks that his grandchildren took the buildings down, but cool that they have recovered some of the foundation pieces of the house. It’s located right next to the museum on his life and is worth the stop!

Really neat. Enjoyed reading all the sections of his letters describing his house.

There is enough here to keep the kids busy for a good couple of hours. There is Benjamin Franklin's Printing Office where they can watch a printing press in action, the first post office in the United States where you can post a letter with Benjamin Franklin's post mark to the Benjamin Franklin Museum. The outline of Benjamin Franklin's house in the courtyard is quite impressive to get an idea of the space in which he lived. If you are traveling with kids you should allow at least two to three hours to do everything by the time they explore the Museum. However sans kids, you would be comfortable squeezing it all in with an hour. Worth a stop and only a gentle 5 to 10 minute stroll from Independence Hall.

What a great experience. Seeing Benjamin Franklins print shop was such a great learning experience. The gentleman working the press was so engaging and informative. He even took time to engage us in personal conversation about historical topics. Plus you can purchase documents printed from Ben Franklins press. I picked up two copies of the Declaration of Independence for only $3 a piece. They make great gifts.

It's a shame that the original house isn't still there. But this is the nicest way to show what was there. Very pretty. One of my favorite spots in Philly.
