The move in process was a breeze. Friendly staff. Has great amenities on site, Including Starbucks, urban eatery etc. After moving in my daughter had a serious roommate problem, management was not helpful in resolving the issue or finding another apartment for my daughter to move into leaving her essentially homeless and couch surfing for 3 months of her one year lease.

Unprofessional and irresponsible. The management is a mess. My daughter got told 2 weeks before move in day that they weren’t able to give her the apartment she signed the lease for anymore. 2 weeks. Every other possible housing option is now unavailable and they waited last minute to notify us. The alternative option was to switch to a 2x2 which was not what she wanted. She wanted a 4 bed 4 bath to share with her three friends. Now they’re going to be stuck in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom together. She signed the lease back in February and they just let her know 6 months later. Now she can’t find housing anywhere else and the only option is to downgrade at the Summit. Management doesn’t care whatsoever and offered no genuine response. Their only excuse is that they had unexpected renewals. So why promise housing in the first place? My daughter and roommates also previously went to the Summit in person to confirm their placement in the 4x4 and they reassured them continuously. This situation is just unexpected, annoying and totally preventable on their part. Now we have paid the deposit and bought everything that was supposed to go into the 4x4 apartment. We can’t bring half the stuff now because of the way smaller rooms and apartment. I will not recommend living at Summit to any student or individual. We didn’t get a solid, genuine response besides a totally preventable and unprofessional excuse.

As a current student and having lived in summit for about 3 years, I can confidently say that this isn't the best choice for where you should live year 2+ at drexel. Yes, the apartments are kinda nice and there's a bunch of random amenities, but they aren't really worth the money unless you think you'll use em. This is the biggest thing, the fire alarms. Hands down, the damn fire alarms almost made me want to drop my lease because they occur so often. Sleeping? Fire alarm at 2am. You work from home and it's 9-5? Fire alarm at 10 am. It wouldn't be so bad except at the time I'm writing this, there have been around 4 fire alarms alone in the past 2 weeks and 2 of them were relatively early in the day (one a few hours before the earliest classes started). Even worse, it always takes 10-30 minutes to turn off the alarms. Can not say I recommend. if they fix the fire alarm situation then would probably give a solid 2.5-3/5 Edit: updated number of alarms. Also, they use PAVLOV media as their ISP. If you don't know why that's an issue, look at their reviews. (I have made one of my own that outlines the biggest issues). Additionally, the smoke detector in the empty room has needed its battery changed, and after being told to sleep through a smoke detector beeping every few minutes, maintenance showed up as soon as I went out to lunch and didn't bother to fix the thing and they told me to wait another day. Absolutely ridiculous making residents sleep through noise like that.

As a current student, I can confidently say that Summit is not the place to live. This place has a variety of issues, but nothing stood out more than the awful washing drying situation.

Highly unprofessional experience—I've been dealing with a charge issue, and none of the staff could address my questions adequately. Received a call from a community assistance representative named Chyenne, who was incredibly rude, wouldn't let me speak, screamed at me and eventually hung up after threatening to put me on hold. Wouldn't recommend living here; the treatment is far from good.

The summit at University City is a very safe place to live. Staff is super friendly and the views from the upper floors and sky lounge are amazing!! Rooms and closets are a great size as well!

The rooms are...passable and that's it. When I moved here, none of the amenities were open. Rooms are overpriced, especially compared to UCross. Front desk staff will roll their eyes at you and get annoyed when trying to sign someone in. When I had an issue with my neighbors and their excessive partying, the desk flat out ignored the multiple complaints I made. Trash chute has been broken for months now, so we have to send everything down the recycling bin. And the recycling bin gets locked half of the time. I routinely receive mail from past tenants. The leasing office decided to sublet an empty bed space without seeking permission from my roommate and I, and we were stuck with a 25 year old man married with children who barely spoke English, was extremely misogynistic, and caused water to leak into the room beneath us-twice. This place could have been great. It could have had top notch amenities, great staff, and decent rooms. But, sadly, it was too good to be true. Abandon all hope ye who enter

They are petty enough to demand $0.39 when you already paid them the final month's rent and you went slightly over the electrical allotment, so they add that new charge to your balance after you're already gone. Online payments have a multi dollar fee by the way so get ready to fork out even more cash than necessary. The concrete walls and ceiling make the entire place feel unfinished at best, and the fact that all the ventilation pipes are exposed means that you are hearing every word from every other room in the apartment even if you don't want to. They have decent internet and other utilities but that isn't enough to make this worth recommending especially for the price.

They will charge you ridiculous fees and raise your rent randomly without telling you. And what do you get? Fire alarms that go off randomly and below average living conditions. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Moved my daughter in yesterday and the process was excellent. They unloaded my car and had everything in the room. They were all so friendly! The location is absolutely perfect for her! Once we got into the apartment we were extremely disappointed. It was filthy! Sticky counters and every table was dirty. Still crumbs everywhere. The refrigerator was disgusting. The kitchen sink had food in it! The hot plate doesn’t work and there are several lights out. The doors to the laundry closet are broken and can’t be opened. There are paint splatters all over furniture and the carpets and floors. It is very obvious that nobody had step foot into the apartment since the old tenants moved out. We started asking around and everyone we spoke to yesterday said they had the exact situation - if not worse! I have tried calling the main number the last 2 days and nobody picks up. I tried the customer service line and nobody is there. I’d like to think things can only get better but I’m not hopeful.
