I went here everyday for years. But there's better options in the area. High prices on a lot of items, extra dollar for under $10 charge, and pay for bags. Staff seems like they don't want to be bothered at times. They can be very argumentative and easily offended just for inquiring about things. I'd rather walk two blocks to the 24 hours store. Where they don't charge me extra and are always happy and smiling. Just walking by I always see something going on. Today I saw the two cashiers simultaneously beating another woman out front of the store, while the cook cheered them on. 40 or 50 something years old and acting like they're in high school. It looked like they were taking out their pent up daily frustrations on this woman. For what? I don't know, but still that usually isn't how you handle things in a business.

Located On Kensington Avenue Near Somerset Street, This Is By Far One Of The Best Convenience Stores On The Avenue. With A Variety Of Food And Drinks Both Hot & Cold. Also, They Have Great Cooks That Make Delicious Food Whether Hot or Cold.

Seems like a lot of people are reviewing this shop because of the outdoor atmosphere. Duh its Kensington! Review the buisness for what it is only. The food is great, owners are nice, and probably the cleanest store in the whole area

Friendly staff. The food would be really good but it's not always the freshest. For example, today we got a large hoagie and one of two of the slices of turkey seemed just in the cusp of bed and the resting brand new. why not just throw out that questionable turkey and give us an all fresh hoagie why don't you reputation possibly falter for a slicer to a turkey savings? Seems misguided if you ask me. Still, they have things that the little bodegas don't have so I'm glad they're there (even though they rake you over the coals on prices). 🤪

A bunch of smokers. The ppl are nice but I wouldn't eat from there. Only malt liquor and lottery.

Well I will say this , Martins still has pretty good coffee but because of what's happening in the area they no longer allow anyone to eat breakfast inside the store any longer which really matters to me anyway. 🫤

Yeah I would have to say that this is a pretty good place to go in and buy snacks like chips and sodas and I like to get my pack of cigarettes from when I visit down there

Dropped a cup of ice by accident and I come everyday. The lady at the register screamed that I will have to pay for it and I had a bunch of other items as well. Then the register lady's friend threatened me and my wife that he will slap the s*** out of both of us for saying she has been ride to us many times before. Called for manager and manager said no one told you to drop the ice so bye. Awful customer service and employees who are upset at life and disrespectful. They also treat human beings on the area who are affected by addiction with such disgust that it's really disgusting to witness to witness how they treat the addicts in need and slot of them do not really steal as not many of them step foot in martins

Food is great and the owners are very nice. Had been going here for a while and it is probably the cleanest and most flesh place to grab a bite. They use high quality lunch meat for each hoagie.
