😠 Beautiful trailhead, unfortunately in the 25 minutes I was here my car was broken into and I had all my belongings stolen. I wouldn’t park here and think signs should be put up saying not to leave any belongings in your car so that at the very least visitors are warned. Cops said it is a common occ... This little area was beautiful. We saw Weeping Cherry Blossoms and even climbed some trees.

Great place to walk around. Often times they have Farmer's markets with vendors that sell food, plants, soap and so on. The plants they grow are beautiful; many colors and they smell great. Perfect place to go read a book, catch up with a friend, or meditate. During the summer I enjoy grabbing a bite to eat at the many restaurants nearby and eatting it in the park and then stopping by the Barnes and Noble to grab a cook and then read.

We enjoyed hiking around this little historic mill village near Wissahickon Valley Park. None of the buildings are open, but a mill house and other structures are intact from the outside. A picturesque creek runs along the trail, which leads uphill to a cozy cafe and longer trails. Parking onsite is limited but most visitors park along the road. The trail is dog friendly.

The small historic town is located right by a creek next to Lincoln Drive. You can park at the limited visitor parking spots by the 1st house or by the Papertrail Bike Cafe on another side. Or, you can also park at Blue Bell Park and walk about 0.75 miles thru Orange Trail. There are only a handful of historic buildings with signs in this little “town”.

This descendant really enjoyed seeing this site but was disappointed in that there is no museum that contains Rittenhouse genealogy or artifacts. I have a 10" pewter plate engraved with "1690 William Rittenhouse, America's First Papermaker" that I bought years ago when the Rittenhouse Family Association still existed and published gorgeous brochures of family history. Is there a repository for such items?
