😠 This has to be the laziest office of workers I have ever encountered in my entire life. They get paid to answer the phones and manage people who walk up to the front desk but they will literally never do 50% of the job. It's far too difficult for the women at the desk to lift those lazy little finge... People often mention appointment, care, phone, office, portal,

This has to be the laziest office of workers I have ever encountered in my entire life. They get paid to answer the phones and manage people who walk up to the front desk but they will literally never do 50% of the job. It's far too difficult for the women at the desk to lift those lazy little fingers to answer a phone call. It doesn't get much easier than that, this isn't some laborious warehouse job. If answering a phone is considered too hard for you, you should probably just quit the job. The only way to make an appointment over the phone is to call their manager and hope that she answers then forces them to do the thing they get paid to do. If the manager doesn't pick up the only way to make an appointment at this office is to waste time driving all the way there to do it in person. And when you show up in person to do it the women will surely give you an attitude because you've now forced them to do something other than gossip all day long and avoid all work. If they could somehow turn you away or ignore you in person they definitely would jump at the chance to do so. This Family Practice would be 1000x better if they fired everyone who currently works at the front desk and hired some nice people with any work ethic at all. The amount of work they are willing to do is one minuscule step above collecting an unemployment check. This has gone on for far too long. The only good people here are the actual nurses and doctors (most of the time). I shouldn't have to take a day off of work just so I can drive to the doctors office to MAKE an appointment. Imagine giving that excuse to your boss..no one would believe it! It's f******* ridiculous.

This has to be thee most incompetent practice ever! After a recent fall my sister's foot has been giving her great pain! Of course she makes an appointment! They send her home to put ice on it and take over the counter Motrin!! What????? The lazy, incompetent foolishness!!! Then had the nerve to tell her if that doesn't help then come back!! Are you kidding me??? I will never take her back to those hacks!! They need to be shutdown!!!

I’m not one for writing negative reviews, but this practice should be ashamed of itself. This was my PCP for nearly a decade and over the past three years, it’s gotten progressively worse. First of all, their system for setting an appointment is a joke for anyone with a job. You call and leave a message for the triage nurse and pray you can answer the phone when they decide to call you back. They have an online patient portal where you can supposedly communicate with your doctor but they have never responded to a single question that myself or my husband has ever asked. In fact, my husband was trying to book an appointment and after three days of calling he finally just found a new PCP in another network, and I’ll be following suit. My most recent headache has been trying to obtain medical records that are needed for my life insurance policy. The medical records office simply will not call anyone back. We have been trying for 3 months. Beyond these frustrations, the patient care experience is not good. On one occasion I had an appointment, showed up on time, got checked in, was sent back to the room and sat for well over an hour without so much as a nurse popping in. I finally went to the nurses station where I was informed that my doctor wasn’t working in that office that day. They said it to me as if it was my fault. I told them that since I was unaware that I even had a dedicated doctor because I have literally never been seen by the same provider. So they sent in a medical student to see me. On another occasion when I was fighting severe food poisoning after raw pork was accidentally splashed in my face, I was seen by two med students who told me to just go home and wait it out. I eventually went to urgent care where I was prescribed antibiotics that began to clear up my system within hours.

I was a patient of the family practice center years ago before I moved away from Philly. It is a residency training program and some residents are better than others but the reason I sought my primary care here to begin with is because of the excellence of the Attending Physicians. They were always present and available if needed and they clearly expect excellence from the residents because I saw several of the truly blossom. This is a great program and I would recommend care there to anyone looking.

Worst service ever, bordering on neglect! I’d give 0 stars if I could! They switched their patient portal company and never told me so I was using an out of date portal and couldn’t contact my doc directly. Now after the switch, I STILL can’t message my doc about medication refills because the portal is still garbage. Don’t bother calling because no one ever answers and the phone options are mostly to leave a message that they will never return. I’ve called 3 days in a row now about the portal not working and my medication refill and still nothing. If you care about your health and well-being, go anywhere else!

Any reason why they can't answer the phone at 4pm . They just turn on the answering service for an hour . Just close then !

Horrible, terrible. Please do not go there for your primary care, they hire anybody. The nurses or doctors don’t care and it shows that they are just in this field for the money. Everyone attitude is nasty, they are unprofessional. If you can please try to stay away from this practice. They honestly need to close permanently

Very Rude to keep patients on hold for 20 min. Then hang up on them. Also the voice recording states the office is open until 4:30p. But of course the answering service come directly on at 4:00. By the way I called at 3:20. That was surely enough time!! SMDH.

They’re not accommodating, you’ll keep running out of meds because they won’t take your calls or let you schedule an appointment

I've been going there for years. I have been very satisfied and I'm happy with my primary physician.

Chestnut Hill Hospital is very clean. You have to wear a mask and they have hand sanitizer stations throughout the hospital. The pulmonologist Dr. Diamond is awesome. He goes above and beyond to take care of his patients. He has the best bedside manner. If you're looking for a pulmonologist check him out, and the good people at Chestnut Hill Hospital.

DO NOT make the same mistake I did with this place! Front desk is terrible and if you need to make an appointment be prepared to wait over a month for an appointment! Absolutely ridiculous! I have been very understanding, but they clearly do not care about the health and wellbeing of there patients. I will be changing doctors!

Doctors are great and some of the nurses are great. However, I have not had a good experience at this practice with most of the nurses, billing, reception, or even trying to get in touch with my doctor via phone or my portal. Will be finding a new doctor because of this.
