Great brunch and dinner offerings. I also love the vibes and decor here. The outdoor area is perfect for warm summer nights while listening to live music. The indoor area is rustic and cozy. Entrees come in big portions! Perfect to share between two people. Solid choice if you’re in East Passyunk.

Went with a friend for happy hour and had the pork sliders, the French fries and the hot honey wings. Jules, our server, was so nice. The food was great! I highly recommend the wings. They were my favorite. Cooked to order, crisp and so full of flavor. My espresso martini was very good. I also tried the Redneck Margarita which also was very good.

We stopped in before dinner for a great $5 happy hour and came back for dessert and some great music by a live duo! Drinks were very affordable after happy hour drinks. we had some spiked apple cider, and I had a berch beer with a vodka special drink... Very nice, followed by dessert and a dulce de Leche latte. Service was terrific!

If you’re looking for BBQ in Passyunk, look no further then Flannel. Great service, great decor, and amazing food. The wings are so crunchy and their Nashville heat was a good heat that doesn’t kill you. Their poutine with the brisket on top was so delicious and the fries not soggy at all. Their Mac and cheese has the perfect combination of cheeses. We did get ribs but they didn’t last long enough for a picture. The ribs are mouth watering and the sauce on them, just the right sweetness. Everything was amazing and we ended up getting two orders of wings, Mac and cheese, and poutine (we had family visiting). On top of all of that, they had Star Wars playing in the background and the place is named after the type of shirt I wear everywhere. If I was BBQ place, it’s Flannel.

Was able to come during restaurant week and enjoyed the experience. Great portion sizes for the more than fair price of 30 a person. The poutine was by far my favorite portion of the meal. Great gravy! But everything we had was delicious including the drinks.

Flannel is utter perfection. If you’re looking for one of the best southern comfort food restaurants in Philly—actually, if you’re looking for one ANYWHERE—you can’t beat Flannel. The food is always, always incredible and so delicious. So many good options for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Awesome local drink selection as well! LGBTQ friendly and a great decor plus a ton of helpful and remarkably professional staff make this place a gem in the Passyunk area. Please, go and have a great time. You won’t be disappointed!

Early Birthday Breakfast with my love. 🌹 We ordered the Nashville Chicken Sammie and a BLT, and both were hefty. Just half was perfect. The ambience was perfect, and service was everything.

Great southern food! Very friendly staff. lively atmosphere. They have live bands performing during Friday evenings. It could get a little loud but would definitely recommend it if you enjoy good music with the food.

One of the best breakfast places I’ve ever been to. It has a cute and comfortable atmosphere. The service there was excellent, never had such a nice server before. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich is the biggest and juiciest chicken sandwich there is. The hangover scramble was hands down the best breakfast meal I have ever gotten, highly recommend.

This was a great experience! The atmosphere is so relaxing. It's very well designed and down to earth. The staff are very friendly and dress casual with no uniforms. Being a 90s kid, I loved the old school rnb playing throughout. They serve alcohol here, mixed drinks and beer. The food was very good. Creative dishes throughout, and large portions. I had the ribs. They were out of this world, and the sauce on them was wonderful. I'm definitely going to be going back here again and again.

Just wow. I've eaten at a lot of the BBQ joints in the area, and I can honestly say this is one of the best. The food is outrageously good and the portions are generous. There's a full service bar/coffee bar as well. I could gush about this place forever. I will definitely be making a return trip!

Came here for the first time last week. Our server was great and attentive. He gave my dog a massive piece of bacon. The food was a surprise. It's one of the better restaurants on east passyunk. The chicken sandwhich I had was huge and the fries were amazing. We'll be back for sure.

Had dinner here with some friends and the food and service were great. I had the brisket platter, and they had blackened snapper with brussels and grits. The brisket was tender and the sauce was perfect. Louis was our server and he was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The complimentary dessert was the cherry on top - no pun intended! We’ll be back.

I read reviews and wanted to check it out for myself. I asked the waitress what she recommended and depending on the mood I was in, I went with the chicken and waffles. As you can see, the chicken was a tad overcooked for me, but overall I enjoyed my meal. The iced tea was just right! And for dessert I tried the banana pudding. Delicious! The highlight here was the service! I will definitely come here again!

Very good food for breakfast and filled us up for a good price. The seating inside is very nice and comfortable but cannot hold larger groups as well (over 6). Waiter was very nice but did ask for tip at the end which felt kinda forced (were going to give one anyways) but was very nice and attentive during the majority of our meal. They have more Southern food so it is nice to get a different taste when going around Philly.

Kinda slow service. Been here several times. Love the comfort food. Today I had the Kentucky Hot Hash Brown Benny. So good. One of the better dishes I’ve had in a while. Stop in. You’ll be happy.

Visited for the first time during East Passyunk Restaurant Week. This was my first ever restaurant week so I was very excited. The pricing seemed fair for what you got, especially the drink special. Cocktails and appetizers were great, but the entree left much to be desired. I originally wanted to try the seafood boil, but they were all out, understandably so as we had a later reservation. I ordered the crepes entree instead. The presentation looked thrown together and it wasn’t very tasty. My server was very accommodating and allowed me to switch it for the shrimp and grits, which was also just okay. The dessert, strawberry shortcake, was okay, aside from the overwhelming taste of whiskey in the frosting. The atmosphere and decor was nice, maybe I need to try their regular menu to get a better idea of their food.

I came here today with my family. We had the Memphis bbq wings, bacon/egg and sausage sandwich, burger and chicken sandwich. Everything was good. My favorite was the wings! My waiter was attentive and very handsome might I add :) I will be visiting again.

They changed their menu - It's not bad at all but it's disappointing from what it used to be. This place used to be a gem, now it's just good. In response to the owner, the chicken sandwich is a good example- the chicken itself was still good, but the sweet potato bun is gone, the pickled green tomatoes are gone, the hotness is gone, etc. It used to be our favorite chicken sandwich in the city- it's still a good sandwich but the things that made it really shine have been replaced with standard alternatives.

The hot chicken is the best! We go here all the time and most importantly we love Amy. She is the best waitress. She remembered us after 2 times. Also the matcha latte is shockingly delicious and worth getting warm. She recommended to me and now I always get it.

The food was delicious here. We went for brunch on a Saturday. There was a little bit of a wait for the outside (we had our dog with us) even though there were open tables. I'm assuming they didn't have enough servers for all of them. The menu has a lot on it and something for everyone from savory to sweet. Our server was great; very attentive and nice and very good at her job. I got the biscuits and gravy Benny and it was awesome. They even brought out some dog bacon for our pup. Highly recommend this place.

Chef, the food wasn’t lacking heavy like the service. The Pancakes were gritty and tasted like breakfast meats, but the cat fish sandwich was good. Guy at the host stand was colder than gazpacho, might want to consider going to hospitality school to freshen up on the meaning of service. Thanks chef.

If you're able to make sure you come here for brunch, what a nice day there is great seating outside which helps you get a table quicker because they have more tables! The server was great and attentive- even though they had a full house. The food was great I will definitely come here again.

This quaint southern style restaurant is in the cut in South Philly on Passyunk Street. Great SERVICE , good food and atmosphere! The owner, Mark, is humble and is a customer based pleaser! I forgot the host name, but he was awesome as well! A must try ! Love bands on the weekends.

First time in Philly and Flannel came up on a search for restaurants close to where we were staying. Had good reviews. Gave it a try. Food was high quality. Mac n cheese, brussel sprouts, shrimp and grits, chicken sandwich and brisket shared by all. Delicious, with quick and friendly service. You won't regret it!

After getting (amazing) takeout from Flannel once, my husband and I decided to eat in for dinner. Excellent decision! I had the BBQ St. Louis Cut Ribs (picture included), and my husband had the Last Fried Chicken Platter. Very large portion sizes - we had lunch for the next day - and maximum flavor/taste :) Also appreciated that their beers were all local. We were there on a Saturday night, and there was live music. It added positively to the vibes of the night. Love seeing their success on the Ave, and will certainly return!

Absolutely loved this place! Not only is on a really nice street riddled with vintage shops and such, but Flannel definitely was the highlight of our visit! The food was amazing (that cornbread is addicting, WATCH OUT!), the live music was so nice AND Justin was the best server and bartender we've ever met! You'll love him! This place could literally start selling empty shoe boxes and we'd still come back for his company!

Wow, I had an incredible experience at this spot! The service was top-notch and the cappuccino and apple pie cake were out of this world. I swear, one bite and my entire mood transformed from feeling down to feeling amazing. I highly recommend checking this place out!
