An amazing tourist stop in Philadelphia. You walk in and you are bombarded with all types of great smells of different cuisine. You can get just about any type of food at Reading. They also have a multitude of baked goods, butchered meats and more. It is an amazing place.

I have been dropping off my son at college in Philly for four years and finally made it to Reading Terminal Market. Had I known everything it offers, I’d have stopped here every time. Friendly, happy vendors and patrons, and the variety of cuisines, restaurants, counters, markets, bars, homemade food, snacks, baked goods, crepes, seafood, burgers, liquor, jewelry, cookies, fresh fish, meat, cheese, pastas… I simply cannot explain the joy it is to explore this foodie mecca. I bought cheesecake, subs, pasta, muffins, garlic bread, and I might have bought much much more had time been on my side. A 4 minute walk from City Hall, it should be on everyone’s agenda when visiting center city. Beautifully decorated, well lit, safe, spacious, user-friendly, clean, comfortable, just go:)

This is not just a tourist location, but is truly a functional market. You can find everything from meats and cheeses to fine candy and ice cream, produce and flowers and everything in between. Note that it does close at 6pm which feels a little early. Everything I have purchased from there has been top notch.

We stopped by this Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia for a quick bite before heading to New York. This open market space has so much to offer from dozens of stalls and they sell different variety of food like pizzas, cheese steaks, rotisserie chickens, burgers, sandwiches, hoagies, roast pork, seafood, noodles, burritos, pasta, coffee, crepes and many more. It was very crowded even on a weekday because it’s near the Convention Centre. You have lots of options to choose from buying ready cooked food to getting fresh groceries like fruits, vegetables, seafood, meats, fresh cut flowers etc. A very interesting place with lively atmosphere… a must visit if you’re in Philadelphia!

This Market is a culinary gem that serves both locals and visitors with its rich tapestry of flavors, diverse offerings, and historic charm. If you're a foodie or just looking for a memorable meal, this market is a treasure trove that embodies the spirit of Philadelphia's vibrant food scene. From restaurant vendors, to gift shops, or straight up deli/seafood counters.. I couldn't decide on where to eat because of how many different and unique vendors sprawling around. I ended up choosing a Georgian cuisine place that was so delicious. My visit left me with a deep appreciation for the city's culinary heritage, and I can't wait to return to explore more of what it has to offer.

The Reading Terminal is an awesome place to try, especially if you're a foodie like myself. This place has so many different options for whatever you have a taste for or if you want to just browse, they have something for everyone. It was crowded but they moved very quickly to keep the lines down. I will definitely return.

Fresh produce, all types of chocolate, candy, cheese, ham, bacon... all at the same place. Great food everywhere... great beer, specially the 312 lemonade shandy at Molly's I thought it would be bigger but still incredibly impressed with how clean, well organized and how great everything is set up... you will want to try everything and buy everything. Is a most if you visit Philadelphia and I highly recommend it.

This place is very popular in Philadelphia if you want to have a gastronomical experience. The market has so many food choices and their mouth watering displays of their delicacies makes it hard decide which food to buy. What's great about this market is that it has fresh produce, cooked food, desserts, appetizers, fresh seafood & meats, wines, cheese, candles, scented oils, flowers etc However, if you are looking to dine in, there are tables and chairs available but very limited especially during busy hours

This is one of the coolest places I've ever visited and I've lived in several different countries. They have a variety of different restaurants, vendors for meat, seafood, poultry, pork, cheese, you name it you can get it here. What ever type of food you want there is a food spot for you. This is a must see on your visit to Philadelphia along with the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall

This is a place you must visit if you are in Philly. For discounted parking instructions check the website of the Reading terminal market. With a $10 purchase and validation by the merchant, parking is $4 for 2 hours in the adjacent Hilton garage. There is fresh produce, fish, meat, wine, cheeses, coffee shops, eateries offering a variety of cuisines as well as many other foods. The veggie stack sandwich from Market bakery and the cookies from 4th street cookies were absolutely delicious. We were unable to get the banana pudding from Sweet Nina's since we were here in the morning and they open only at noon. The only disappointment was the Farmer's platter from Molly Malloy's kitchen. The eggs were cold, the bacon was rubbery and the potatoes were nothing to talk about. The breakfast was just inedible. We had ordered 'to go' and sat on one of the tables right outside. We later realized that there was a separate area for indoor dining and wondered whether the food being served inside was any better. We enjoyed the many gingerbread houses on display.

This is just an awesome place to visit for a foodie. It has EVERYTHING. I am most impressed with the pastries. Amish doughnuts are amazing! They are some of the best I have ever had. Definitely a must. I stop by specifically for those delicate delicacies. If you don’t like what you see, please message me, and we will see if we can get you right.

Just an amazing food hall in downtown Philadelphia that you must try! In fact, it may be the best place to eat in town! So many options to choose from for just about every kind of cuisine you could want including plenty of stuff for your sweet tooth. It’s also a legit food market for those wanting to buy stuff to cook at home. Very, very busy almost all the time so you do have to fight the crowd a little bit. But, it’s really a lot of fun just to wander through the whole place and take everything in. You’re going to pay between $10 and $15 for a meal but that’s not too bad. I would personally recommend the Fourth Street Cookie Company, and the donut shop. The Dutch Eating Place has a hot turkey sandwich platter that was amazing and a great value. There are places to sit inside the food hall, but getting a table can be a bit of a challenge. Just go check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

This is definitely one of those places where there is something for everybody. My partner and I had to walk around 3 times before deciding what places we were going to eat at. All of the food was really good and fresh. Seating can be really limited here but if you wait it out you can find something and some establishments have seats available for guests. There is everything from food to crafts and jewelry. You can easily spend hours here. Come hungry and prepared to spend some time.

There was a variety of food, from desserts to Chinese food to Greek to Philly cheese steak sandwiches. The seating area was a bit crowded.. but luckily everyone was friendly. Their ice cream was delicious 😋 and their cookies are fresh. It's definitely a must-do when you come to Philadelphia.

That's an awesome market, we went during the weekend and it was very crowded. There are so many things to see and eat here, we had such a hard time choosing a spot for lunch. There are also great spots to buy unique ingredients, we especially enjoyed the olive oils and the balsamic vinegars!

The market is packed with a variety of ready-to-eat foods - anything you can imagine. Sandwiches, pizza, salads, sushi, coffee, cookies, ice cream, doughnuts - the gauntlet of all varieties of foods. There are minimal fresh food stands (fish, produce, etc). Definitely worth a shot if your group wants a quick bite, a sweet treat or snack - and you’re looking for variety. There are some places to sit inside, but not many.

This is a food lover's dream! It is far more than a food court. We had so much fun exploring the variety of restaurants, delis, produce stands, and bakeries. There is minimal seating available at most shops, as well as some centrally located tables.

I have been to Reading Market before in my previous trips! However this time I really took the time to walk through the entire market numerous times! I went at different times of day so I could take it all in without being overwhelmed. I got to have some really yummy bagel sandwiches for breakfast and made to order juices and smoothies. If you’re looking for donuts they have those too. They were okay but not yeasty enough for me. I tried cookies, pies and cakes. The Caribbean shrimp curry was so good I had it twice! This is a must go!

A foodie paradise! The food portions are generous and very reasonable. It's a bit like a labyrinth and the aisles can get clogged with people coming and going. I recommend The Dutch Place for one of the best breakfasts you'll have in Philly. Along with food stalls are kiosks that sell herbs, candy, meats, and seafood.

We ate every meal of our stay in Philly here. You get quality, variety, and value. We had some great fried chicken, a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, breakfast at a Dutch place, pastries from same Dutch place, oysters, and Pad Thai Noodles. It was all super good.

RTM is fantastic for locals and tourists that love good food or need gifts! Easily accessed by public transportation, this place can get crazy busy with constant foot traffic both inside and outside. Most places are best suited to pick yp food and eat elsewhere. If you like food hall/market style attractions, stop by RTM (but don't stop walking in any aisle! You'll block traffic! Notbeven on your phone!)

Great way to spend a rainy day. Breakfast at Down Home Diner is a great place to start. Their biscuits are amazing and the people were really kind. After that, hop from aisle to aisle and pick from desserts, coffee, or small trinket shops. It really is just a great way to spend a morning or afternoon.

One of my fav spots in Philly!! Always a great time at this Philly staple of a smorgasbord yummies ... pick your cravings lol...Great chocolates, donuts, fresh fruits, breads, pickles, Buffalo chicken salad, fresh seafood, banana cornbread, alligator gumbo, cheese, coffee, fresh flowers, delish soul food, samples of alcohol and soo much more. Foot traffic is definitely a 1/4 percent now because of COVID-19, and some businesses aren't open;(, but those that are open, I'm glad to support. Not sure I agree with allowing ppl to sit and eat inside... not sure that's the safest move right now. Too much at risk!

One of my favorite places on Philadelphia of all-time. There's simply so many vendors, businesses, people, food and snacks to look at and enjoy. The only downside is I wish there were outside seating as well, but it wouldn't be conducive as it would probably obstruct the sidewalk in a busy part of downtown. I'm always impressed by the number of employees who keep it running/staffed in addition to the number of people eating, meeting, talking and shopping about. Also the majority of people wore masks, which is great. The food court can packed though, which is difficult to physically distance. Overall highly recommend.

The market is renowned for its incredible culinary diversity. Visitors can explore a wide array of food stalls and vendors representing a range of cuisines, from Pennsylvania Dutch classics to international flavors. Many of the market's vendors offer fresh and locally sourced produce, meats, cheeses, and artisanal products. It's a great place to sample and purchase high-quality, locally sourced ingredients.

Very fun indoor market with lots of Philly specialties. It’s great if you want to cool off on a hot summer day. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the seating can be limited and wait times can get a little long for certain restaurants. Try and go a little later in the day to avoid these issues :)

Pretty neat place for food or for some specialty shopping. This place is crazy busy on the weekends. It has narrow aisles between businesses and people are lined up everywhere. There are a large variety of restaurants and specialty shops (meats, fish, bakeries, etc). We didn't go through all of it, but went through a good deal of it. Neat place.

I'm the cheesiest coach! Whenever I get home I always try to make an effort to stop here. This time I brought my daughter for roast pork, hot green peppers with mustard. Next up cheese steak with red cherry peppers. She loved the roast pork, but said the steak was "too cheesy"? Better get the DNA test ready huh? Go Iggles. 😍🏈

Is a great stop if your hungry, if you need that last thing for diner, or a date😁! Tons of options, family friendly, multiple different butchers with the freshest cuts, produce markets, seafood, florist, and a bunch of others I’m forgetting. One of my favorite places in Philadelphia, a must stop if your visiting. This was my second time at reading and we had blueberry pancakes from the Dutch restaurant and they were 10/10, the orange juice is unlike any orange juice I’ve ever had 10/10 and they put a massive thing of fresh house made butter on top of the pancakes. Awhile later I went to the Thai market and had a salmon curry bowl with sweet chili sauce and chicken rolls and it might’ve been one of the best things I’ve ever had. The first time I came to reading we had millers twist and tons of other things that were delicious. This time we also had beilers donuts and those were fantastic. You can’t go wrong with anything, I’d don’t think anything you order would be bad from reading. They have some of the best food I’ve had in Philadelphia while here visiting my sister. I’ll come here every time I get to visit.

We had so much fun at the Reading Terminal Market. There’s something for every taste. We tried cookies, pretzels, Cajun, chicken, Peking duck, coffee, sweet potato pie and coffee. Parking is expensive and the place is crowded, but it’s totally worth it!

Good selection of food…hoagies, cheese steak, seafood, Asian, sweets, European, you name it. Parking is a bit tricky. If you score street parking pls be sure to read the signs, I saw a few cars ticketed. We went with the $7 per half hour parking but I should’ve used the Spot Hero app. Washrooms are clean. Crowd was cool

THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE FOR FOODIES! It’s one of the best tourist attractions in Philly. Just wear something comfortable, prepare your wallet, and spend away. 🍱 🥘 🍲🍩🍪🧁🍰 I couldn’t get enough of the varieties around me. There’s Philly’s cheesesteaks, Mediterranean food, Greek food, Asian food, a variety of seafood sections, desserts, fruit and vegetables, and waaay more. I recommend trying the chicken gyro at one of the Greek corners! It’s worth it.

This is a great food market. Has everything. Yum love their Cappuccino, their ice cream 🍦🍨🍦🍨 is fabulous I tried 2 scoop cone in a waffle cone and got two favors Strawberry 🍓 🍓 🍓 and peach 🍑🍑🍑. Totally for tourists, but saw a few locals in here. This find was a gem, very hidden, but once found - totally worth the trek from South St. If you have a nice parking spot and willing to walk, do it. I parked on 6th and Spruce and walked a few blocks. If not, park in the mall off of Market and 10th-12th and you're set.

Love, love, love this place!!! So many food choices. Brings back childhood memories of going to the Galleria with my Grandmom to shop. We then stopped at the Reading Terminal to pick up some groceries like fresh fruits and always ice cream on the way out. We then rode the subway back uptown. Now I bring my own children here when in the city and they enjoy it just as much as I did. Nice, nostalgic treat.

Cool looking place that was FRIGHTENINGLY overcrowded in aL the civid world. People wearing their masks under their chin, hanging off one ear or under their nose. If those people were eating food that would be one thing. Those are people walking around shoulder to shoulder with you, standing at counters looking at the food etc..... Went through and decided to go elsewhere. Too bad too... There was some pretty good looking food there. They'll do fine without me however you wonder what kind of super spreader that place is. I won't be back till after covid. If it's still there. to me they would have some type of security telling people to put their masks on properly or leave.

Perfect place to buy exotic spices, gourmet groceries and artisan meat/cheese/bread plus some great options to eat at. Always the go-to for fresh produce. Experience Philadelphia first-hand

I love this market. One of the top markets in the world in my opinion. Some complain it's not Covid safe but if you follow the guidelines and wash your hands you should be fine. It is a staple that people visit both local and tourist alike. The produce is fresh, the coffee is fresh, the ice cream is good, the sandwiches are good. It is things like this that MAKE Philadelphia. Swing in, support local.

Indoor market with enough vendors to have something for everyone. Huge selections and enough space to not feel crowded
