Been
a
customer
for
a
couple
years
here
at
Penrose.
Always
excellent
customer
serviceā¦until
now.
Thereās
a
new
young
male
manager
who
changed
the
environment
and
professionalism
of
staff.
He
does
not
greet
or
make
me
nor
my
family/friends
feel
welcome.
When
I
enter
the
gym,
heās
either
on
his
phone,
doesnāt
speak,
or
doesnāt
give
off
a
warm
smile
like
many
staff
had
done
before
and
some
current
staff
do
now.
Another
time
when
interacting
with
him,
he
had
a
very
sarcastic
approach
when
asking
a
question.
The
gym
isnāt
the
cleanest
now.
Dumbbells
are
scattered
everywhere
and
the
machines
are
always
broken.
Iām
not
sure
if
his
training
was
cut
short
or
he
is
inexperienced,
but
I
believe
he
needs
to
be
retrained
in
customer
service
and
management
skills.
It
begins
with
leadership
and
the
staff
will
follow.
Lead
by
example.
I
refuse
to
come
on
weekdays
now
due
to
not
wanting
to
experience
the
negative
energy
he
provides.
Iād
rather
drive
further
to
South
Philly
or
Ridley.
People
come
to
the
gym
for
many
reasons,
one
being
mental
health.
A
place
that
helps
improve
your
mental
health
-
you
would
want
the
same
consistency
no
matter
the
changes
in
management/staff.
You
want
to
keep
coming
back
because
the
staff
makes
you
feel
motivated
to
better
yourself
by
simply
providing
a
friendly
and
welcoming
gesture.
A
safe
place
for
all.
We
(customers)
need
the
old
customer
service
back
when
it
was
very
inviting.
Iāll
update
my
review
in
one
month.
Hope
things
change
for
the
better.
Weekend
staff
is
amazing
-
he
could
learn
a
few
tips
from
that
team
or
from
the
locations
mentioned
above.
Wouldāve
been
a
one
star
if
it
wasnāt
for
the
weekend
staff.
