Man, this place was lit when we went for brunch / lunch. I want to go back at nighttime to see what it’s like. If I’m thinking of a bar that screams Philly this would be it (I’m sure I haven’t been to enough places or been here long enough to say this). Oh also, my chicken and waffles was good, I loved the portion, my date also enjoyed her food! Went back for drinks and it’s just great vibes and everyone is super friendly! Note: they charge 20% gratuity so pay attention to your bill, I ended up tipping 40%, my fault not paying attention. I don’t think it’s fair to give low ratings for that when it’s stated on the bill and you just weren’t paying attention.

I have eaten here frequently, food is always great staff is usually slow but not enough for me to complain or disregard this restaurant. I am 8 1/2 months pregnant, craved wings it was a no brainer to choose north 3rd. It was 106 degrees and well when your pregnant it feels like hell so of course I preferred to be seated inside (which not one person was seated inside) I wasn’t even greeted I was simply asked are you vaccinated no hi how are you nothing. I answered no I am with child at this time she then proceeded to tell me ok you have to sit outside if you aren’t vaccinated which again is fine but I feel as though this is discrimination against those who can not get vaccinations or other health conditions. At 106 degrees 8 1/2 months pregnant sitting outside is not ideal. I asked to speak to a manger she replied he’s going to say no. I asked to speak to a manger not input on what you think he would say. I don’t know if the staffing hates their job or what the case is but either way you work in customer service in a pandemic it’s not what you say it’s how you say it and the tone of voice. Philadelphia has a mask mandate not a vaccination mandate it is the owners choice to require proof of vaccine and how are you ensuring vaccine cards are not fake? There is also a new variant in which there is no vaccine for so I am just confused as to the reasoning behind being vaccinated to sit indoors when everyone is at risk regardless of vaccine or not. I am also a small business owner in the neighborhood and regardless if this is your choice have better customer service.

Entering this place is a little like walking into wonderland- The decor is all over the map here. Overhead there are glittering eagles and a butterfly. The walls are chalked full of both beautiful and blush-inducing art lol. The drink selection has a great deal of variance and even the pickiest person can find something here. My eggs Benedict came out quickly and was excellent- The gravy fries disappeared very quickly amongst my friends as well. Our server was a peach and very attentive. Very impressed and will be back.

This place is around the corner so I am getting food here often. Some items are fantastic, like their cod fish and chips (not the fluke, though I’m just not a fan of fluke). Eggplant fries are tasty but they are often over salted. Their cocktails are good and the brunch is acceptable. The menu supposedly changes everyday but that is not true. They will slightly alter an item, like change a sauce or something, but often go back through a list of regular items. A lot of the people are great but there has been a few times where a staffer wasn’t very nice. It’s a solid choice if you live nearby though I wouldn’t say it’s very special or has unique items. Standard American food. Accessible bathrooms. No non alcoholic cocktails available, which would be a major plus.

This is such an incredible place. The food has been exceptional every time we’ve come. I got the hot apple cider with bourbon and on a cold day, it is the best. I wish my pictures did the inside justice. The service is always 100% and they clearly care so much about their customers. One of my favorite spots in Philly

was turned down at the door because i did not have a vaccine card, its not mandated in Philadelphia to be vaccinated. this must be a restaurant policy they implemented by choice. i was completely embarrassed. didn't even give me an option to sit outside. going back today to see arrangements because i really enjoy this place :( my favorite is the thai wings calamari and steak ! blood orange margs are great too!

They have a lot of brunch options. Food was tasty. The pancakes with creme anglaise was sublime. Service was good. Bottomless coffee cups were refilled quickly.

What a great little find! Stopped in before our meditation and was pleasantly surprised. The food came out fast and was delicious. We were in for happy hour and got some delicious margaritas. Hope to be back! The bartender was fast and kind

This is a small but efficient low key spot. I came here in a Sunday afternoon around 4:30pm. They had a mid-day menu which had limited items and a dinner menu which activates at 5pm. I ordered the Cardi P cocktail (yum). I wish it was a larger drinks I felt like I was on a diet drinking it out of a skinny glass. Lol. The burger was perfect. I asked for a well done burger and it came with lettuce, tomato, and red onion. I also asked for a side of Mayo and ketchup. The fries were seasoned just right and everything was served hot. One star was lost due to the limited options on the mid-day menu (only the burger and wings were of interest to me) but otherwise it would have been five stars. Service was really good and the time it took from our order until the time it took for our food to come out was great.

Food Ordered: Steak Frites, Seared Atlantic Salmon Drinks Ordered: Spring Sangria, Peach Ginger Mule, Lavender Lemon Drop Martini, Blood Orange Margarita Drinks were great. Steak was very good but probably should’ve been cooked medium. Salmon was good - the curry sauce was awesome. Sat outside which was nice. Went on 5/10/2023

Incredible classic American food with a twist in northern liberties. It’s similar to standard tap! The service was incredible. Our waiter guided us through the menu and told us the highlights. We got the chicken wings with Thai chili sauce. Sweet and delicious! (Not spicy) Burger was solid with great fries. And order the bread pudding! Solid spot!

Love the atmosphere. Cool spot to hang out. Service was super friendly. I liked that there were a good amount of meatless options. Eggplant fries were crispy outside and creamy inside. The tuna burger and lobster pasta were just ok. Missed the mark a bit for our tastes. We’d definitely go back and just try some different dishes. Worth checking out if you’re in the neighborhood.

This is my favorite restaurant in Philly! If you are looking for great food and drinks, this is the place! They have been serving delicious food for many years. Always great quality and portions. I love their chicken and waffles and their martinis. I can’t wait to go back!

I have to make my way back here. Steak frites was the best i had at any bar I’ve been to. Amazingly cook steak how i wanted, sauce/gravy was delicious and savory, fries were hand cut and amazing. The capers gave it an added salty flavor. Just overall delicious meal and fulfilling.

Great spot. Great service. Delicious food. However, the steak frites was served a bit cold but it was good. And the mojito was a bit tasteless.

Really enjoyed this neighborhood gem! Reasonably priced for the location and food quality! Obsessed with the Thai Chile steamed mussels! I really loved my tuna burger as well- very tasty and texture was on point! Our bartender/waitress was great with the recommendations and drinks. I liked how refreshing and tasty the drinks were. It didn't taste over powering but got the job done liquor wise hehe definitely will be back again!

Best wings I’ve had in a long time! Hot burger was also pretty good with a spicy long hot. Everything came out hot and fresh. Can’t wait to try the Thai chili wings next

Had an overall average experience at North Third. The food we tried was perfectly fine, but uninteresting. Drinks were similarly straightforward. Would come back if friends particularly wanted to, but wouldn't return on my own.

Good food, good drink, good time. We luckily had the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Eggplant Fries, and Buffalo Wings. All were great and a unique dish. I have to add that it was a little pricey. I'm excited to explore the rest of the menu and cocktails!

Amazing experience, awesome choice of items to select from. Fried eggplant sticks, PEI mussels, pulled pork sandwich and the tasty Salmon.

Been eating here since 2008 and it is my favorite restaurant in the city for wings and fries. Food and drinks are always consistent. Service is quick and friendly (most of the time).

The service fee is included. Food is overcooked, but the vibe is good. For people who want to get drunk and do not care about the food quality, please do visit. It is not a place for brunch.

Food was absolutely delicious. The only things I didn't like were being charged 2.00 for a pinch of parmesan cheese for my pasta, and the automatic added gratuity for a table of 4. Granted, in this case the service was good, but I would be pretty annoyed if I was forced to tip well for horrible service. Will eat here again though.

First time eating here, cannot say how fabulous the food was! Our waitress was very friendly! The blood orange margarita was really delicious! We started with Thai chili wings, they were really great, followed by a Korean pulled pork sandwich and the best of all....eggplant fries With sriarcha aioli! I could have eaten 3 plates full they were so, so good! Great little neighborhood place! Will definitely be back again!

Laid back atmosphere, dark, good drinks and good food. Nice for a date at the bar or dinner. Will go back again. Breakfast/Brunch was also delicious

The chicken sandwich and the eggs benedict were good. The hangover helper and wings were okay. The pancakes were really good but more on the sweet side even without syrup. I recommend the peach juice over the pear juice.

I really enjoyed eating and having cocktails here. Their food was very good. I had a spicy cheese burger and my boyfriend had a crabcake sandwich that we both loved. We shared peirogies for our appetizer. I loved the decor theme. I will definitely go back again.

Fabulous food and neighborhood ambiance make North Third a NoLibs go to. The menu changes daily, and the delicious dishes are served in ample portions. The staff is attentive. If you’re lucky, Sam will attend to your table.
