Dude I don’t even know. I just finished up my first omakase there 30 minutes ago and I’m still shook by how profoundly excellent that was. Sure it’s expensive, but it is absolutely worth it. Top 3 meal of my life and so obviously the best sushi and maybe the best restaurant in Philadelphia.

A classic sushi restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The omakase dinner tasted great, and without ruining the surprise the hand roll at the end was special. Sake pairing was well suited and dessert was light and sweet.

High quality Japanese food for serious foodies. Love this place. The fish is super tender and the chefs do a great job with perfect amount of rice and wasabi in each bite. It is pricey so we only come here for special occasions. Note that there are 5 seatings (5 to 9:00 pm on the hour).

I did the sushi omakase and it was my first time. I did it with the sake pairing. It was amazing! Amazing service. The staff was very attentive to all of our needs. The quality was beyond amazing. We tried so many different fresh fish sashimi and it really widen my horizon on the possibilities of sushi. It's definitely not your average sushi you get at any restaurant. The other non sushi dishes were also delicious, it's hard to pick a favorite because literally everything was unique, with beautiful presentation, that wows your taste buds. We sat at the sushi bar so we could watch the chef in action which was really cool. We could talk to them and ask them about the techniques and ingredients. I would totally do it again!

A wonderful experience. My wife and I had a really special experience trying all the different dishes and sushi. A lot of unique flavors I’ve never tasted before. Loved it, and glad I finally got to try some Akashi single malt!

Had a great dinner here recently. Did the sale pairing along with the meal and it was perfect. A ton of delicious bites with the highlights being the uni, waygu, and toro. Expensive, but worth it.

What a great omakase restaurant which is very authentic, above and beyond my expectation. I was on a vacation. My sister recommended this Hiroki restaurant that did not disappoint. Everyone should come and check this place out while you are in Philly.

Fantastic experience and some of the best fish I’ve had outside of Japan. The staff were also super attentive to my dietary restrictions and made some excellent substitutions. Yes, omakase is quite expensive but completely worth it.

Woooooooow this freaking restaurant was ridiculously delicious. I will forever fantasize about this food. Amazing experience for the food lovers. We checked out this place to celebrate a birthday, which I highly recommend since they are quite pricey. Perfect place to commemorate a special moment. Great attention to detail. The servers make you feel catered to. We got to see the chefs craft the dishes right in front of us. It was delicately prepared and served, and the servers explained all the dishes brought out. Got to taste a variety of fish cuts from all over the world. They have an insane miso cheesecake at the end that blew my mind. I cannot wait to go back. 1000% recommended

Outlandishly good food. Chef Hiroki Fujiyama brings an expertise and care to his food that you'll be hard-pressed to find elsewhere. The omakase menu can also be paired with a Sake selection. During my most recent visit, one of the members of my party had an allergy that wasn't disclosed beforehand. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate, including the modification of dishes throughout the evening.

We went to Hiroki, to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. We had the Omakase and a bottle of wine. Probably we should’ve got the sake pairing because the other customers had it and said it was really good. We enjoyed our wine too. I liked everything in the omakase course except one which was very fatty for my palate. Everything was amazing, the food, the service, the amazing vibe and their hospitality. They printed his name with a happy birthday message on the menu which i found very cute. P.s: they have counter sitting and dining tables, I would recommend counter if you want to see the chef in action.

I came here for a dinner and had an AMAZING time. There was not a single bad dish or drink. The atmosphere is nice and the food was amazing. They have some very unique flavor combinations that I thoroughly enjoyed. Everything was incredibly fresh and you could tell that the chef put a lot of thought and care into every dish.

Excellent Omakase bringing us back to our trip to Tokyo! Authentic experience with great quality ingredients. The Omakase and Sake pairing are well worth the splurge for a special occasion.

They need to offer more options because right now only one course is available and it is 155$ per person. The big problem was my girlfriend was full before we got to the really good sushi at the end and she didn’t get to experience her favorite tuna roll which was disappointing for me. I should have checked the prices before hand, I was not expecting the total to come out to 420$ for 2 people. 20% tip is mandatory. The experience was good though. The food was fresh and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. My one other complaint was that they didn’t have an eel roll. Which is my personal favorite. A lot of the sushi at the beginning was similar, and the appetizers at the beginning felt extra. They need to have a sushi only option.

Amazing place, food is top notch, really cool decore, and has its own parking lot next door. Very expenssive, however, it is worth the experience!

As you walk into the restaurant through the large beautiful door, greeted by lovely service, you enter an oasis of tranquility and beauty. The staff is exceptional, only exceeded by the nuances and skill of the chef & his colleagues. Every detail is thoughtfully executed. Great sake & wine by the glass, along with perfect recommendations from the servers. Highly recommend an evening at this restaurant.

What a treat to sit at the sushi bar and watch Hiroki in action. The fish was super fresh, presentation beautiful and really enjoyed everything - favorites were uni-gyu, toro hand roll, sakura masu and anago!

My wife and I came here for a birthday date and ate omakase. It was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The dishes were unique, with flavors I’ve never experienced before. Very unique dishes to start with all different flavors, textures, and appearances. Then came the sushi. The sushi was incredible - it ran the gamut of all different kinds of fish. Some were smooth and melted in your mouth, some were punchy flavors and colors. I also got the sake pairing, which I highly recommend. The meal was a complete tour of flavors and experiences and we left feeling amazed and satisfied.

Read a stellar review before coming here and Hiroki did not disappoint!! I eat omakase on a fairly frequent basis and I have never had a meal like this. The fish selection was unique and the order of the omakase was beautifully thought out. The fish itself was beautifully seasoned without too much fuss — the chefs really let the freshness of the fish and the unique flavors and textures speak for themselves. The service and atmosphere were impeccable!! An overall phenomenal experience and we can’t wait to go back!
