UPDATE: today i took my child here. She loved it. She had breakfast for dinner. I had a salad with chicken, walnuts, dried cranberries and blue cheese. It was a HUGE portion. It was ok. The chicken for me was a little dry. The french onion soup was good. Our desert was a a BIG strawberry short cake 🎂, very good dessert. This place lace is like when you find a jewel in your closet, it was there and you didn't know, now you have it and you will never let go... My sis took me today to this place for my very first time. It was delicious, breakfast and pastry. The server was so kind and patient with all my inquiries. I was hoping for something like this close by and I never realized about this place even when I drove by so many times. Another plus for me was plenty of off street parking.

This is one of the best diners you will ever go to. Whenever I go home to Philadelphia for a visit I make sure that I come here at least once. The food is really good and they have some of the most amazing pastries you ever wanted to try. The service is really good, the so nice and friendly. I highly recommend if you live in Philly go if you visit Philly it is must.

My first time here in probably 15 years, since I moved far away. I still live an hour and a half from here in Southern Chester County, near Long Wood Gardens. My barber stylist, who I've been going to since I was a lil kid recommended this place for deserts, so I decided to stop and get some today. That was a big mistake! Their famous Jewish Apple Cake was not fully cooked inside, and the Cheese Danish was so dry, you could choke on it. The chocolate eclair custard inside tasted like some cheap boxed, overly-sweet pudding. I was completely disappointed. I had very-high hopes, but unfortunately this is quite common now just about everywhere we go these days. It's more than sad, to say the least! People don't take pride in what they do and it shows in the work they perform at there jobs. What has become of this country since the Pandemic? Selfishness, inconsideration and downright rudeness towards others. We can only hope this will change soon, if not, we are in a world of trouble in our futures. Happy New Year! May God continue to Bless America and this great planet Earth. Have a Blessed day....

The food was fantastic. The crab cake was phenomenal. Absolutely great. The rest of my party all enjoyed their meal choices. The bakery is the best. I've not had a better chocolate cake. Definitely worth your time. Your taste buds wil thank you.

Requested hash browns with onions peppers and one egg scrambled together. Received reheated left over morning bacon, reheated hashbrowns with some fried onions and 2 "scrambled" eggs. Nothing tasted fresh. Place is not as bright and clean as the photos depict. Will nor return. Waitress was very nice, the only 5 rating for this place.

If I could give a 0 I would but 1 star is the least to leave a comment. It was 1pm on a Thursday and my coworker and I stopped in for lunch. Took 15 mins before a waitress asked for our drink order and we said we had to order and leave. I got a french dip. The menu said you must ask for fries, coleslaw and a pickle so I did. I received no coleslaw. We finally flagged down the waitress who was annoyed at us. After another 5 minutes she brought the coleslaw. It was rotten and tasted it. My coworker got a breakfast platter. Her pancakes tasted like a frozen toaster pancake. She was charged $1.75 for a slice of cheese on her egg. We waited and waited and never saw a waitress again. Went to hostess stand, there's the waitress talking. She didn't acknowledge us much less give us a check. Hostess asked for check then got irritated we didn't have one. I told her the coleslaw tasted rotten. She obviously didn't care. This place is a disaster. Don't go there, don't waste your time or money. I will never go back.

My steak was made perfectly and my eggs were well done like I asked them to do it. Overall my favorite diner to go to in Philadelphia.

I decided to try this place out on Uber eats. My first time trying their food. I know food always tastes much better when you dine in any restaurant but I was ordering French toast for me and my kids for a quick meal. The French toast we did not like at all. The bread was so thick that the French toast batter did not even soak up all the bread. It was very dry without no good flavor. I was disappointed because it looked better than it tasted. My kids love French toast and they did not hardly eat any at all. However I also ordered Eggs over medium, homefries well with fried onions and sausage which I thought was delicious. So thats why I gave 3 stars. I would give this place a chance again but I will not be getting my food delivered. I will make sure that we eat at the restaurant.

Waitress was very down to earth and helpful with placing my order. She checked up on us a few times throughout our meal and made sure our drinks were always filled. The food came out after about 5 minutes, super fast and the quality was what ya expect from a diner. Nothing too special but still very delicious but loved the pork sausage they served, juicy and super tasty.

The food was good and the service was amazing! They accommodated my request to switch out pancakes for French toast 😋, the bacon was crispy and fresh (I hate pre-cooked bacon 🥓 😑). Our waitress even brought out a 🧁 for my sister when u told her it was her birthday 🎂. We will definitely be back.

Went there for breakfast with my wife, she got creamed chip beef(SOS), and I got the shrimp and grits. Both platters were as bland as could be. Coffee wasnt anything special neither. Definitely one of the worst breakfasts I've ever had at a diner.

I was satisfied with my spinach and feta omlette, a little less with my home fries. They were not as crispy as I asked for, so it left a lot undesirable to my taste. Waitress was as nice as could be, I wish I had remembered her name. As this was the first diner I visited in the area around 2007, it has a longstanding spot for me, and family to pop in and have food or pastries.

Had my grandkids for the weekend which is always fun. Since I didn't have any OJ on hand (hey, I thought that was a pretty good excuse!) we ordered from Country Club. What a happy accident. I swear, it was THE best french toast I've ever had and I really have made my share! I've made it with challah, regular white and with brioche but nothing compared with this. Sweet but not too sweet. Even the bacon that the kids ordered was awesome. We will definitely be looking at the rest of the menu more often!

First time here in ages. Typical diner. Older, seasoned waitresses who don't really care if you're happy it not, because they've usually been shafted on tips. During our visit, one table got up and left because the waitress was rude to them. Personally, there was nothing wrong with our waitress except she was pretty slow. It wasn't very busy when we visited at about 3pm, yet it took a long time for the food to come out. So both the front and the back were slow. As for the food, it was ok. Like I said earlier, typical diner.

Service was great! The food was excellent, and served within a few minutes! They must have an Army of cooks in the kitchen. I found my new go to diner. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

Typical diner menu with a large assortment of food. I love that breakfast is served 24 hours. I had a delicious omelet with the most perfectly crisped hash browns. My friend enjoyed a vegetable panini. Our server, Alex. Checked in several times and was very sweet. Only reason for 4 stars is that they close at 8:00 P.M.

Our server was great. Our food was just as we ordered. Coffee was delicious. No one rushed us. A much friendlier atmosphere than some years ago. A very enjoyable morning! P.S. My favorite food is poached eggs easy-- and they were perfect!

Has sadly gone downhill over the past several years. The once true diner menu has shrunk to a page. Prices have risen and portions decreased. Interesting however, they do have a really good Philly Cheese Steak

The service and food was great. The staff went out of their way to make special breakfast for the kids. I am so appreciative of that gesture.

It’s my go to diner, I love the food here , they are consistent and haven’t messed up a dish in all the years I have been coming here !

Home fries were not only cooked well done they had spices in them, the kind that seem to be in curly type fries, delicious!!!. The omelette had cheese not only inside but on top also and the waitress was very friendly. And if your by yourself your allowed to sit at a small table not just a counter. Great place.

I/we had a marvelous lunch and fellowship. Our waitress was attentive, the food was nicely prepared and our hostess was delightful to the" mostest". I had passed by this place on many occasions but was glad that I stopped by on what was a most stressful day. Give them a try. I'm sure that you'll be glad you did. Oh and don't forget to take home some delicious baked goods!

First time going here as long as I lived in the area. The service was great & the food even better. Best part the restaurant was clean. Just feel they need better signs and advertising. But definitely a hidden gem

I got a chicken quesadilla it was great. The best part of my meal was the chocolate cake. They have they best desert ever! The only negative thing about my experience is they kept giving me dirty glasses. I sent one back & the next one was the same thing. I ended up not drinking anything with my meal.

The wait staff isn’t friendly and after I got my food the waitress never came back to check on me to see if I need anything. The next time she came back was to give me my check. First and last time being here.. the food wasn’t bad but the service is trash

The food is good and most workers are polite, the only issue is that it needs to be cleaner and they way want to invest in new plates the plates looked very stained and scratched. My table was pretty dirty.

My family and I have been eating at Country Club for over twenty years. The baked goods at the front point of sale always serve to invite and inspire, and the host or hostess always has us seated before the front door closes behind us. Our server was exceptionally professional and eager to please with a freshly brewed pot of coffee and served one of the best Eggs Benedict that I could remember. The eggs were poached and perched perfectly atop a tender Canadian bacon and lightly toasted English muffin. One slice of Blueberry pie, shared by Dad and myself made for a memorable meal and sure to be back experience. No solicitation or hesitation needed. Thanks, CC crew. 🍽 ☕️

My son Jared loves this place. He highly recommends bacon and eggs his favorite dish. Just wait until you taste that bacon. It's unlike any other bacon you've ever tasted.

April 12, 2023: My first and probably last visit. The place was clean. The waitress was nice and her service was very good. I got a cheese steak sandwich. It tasted good but the roll was at LEAST 4 inches too long for the amount of meat. I didn't complain because I was with other people and I didn't want to upset anyone. Hey country club, if you read this and you're gonna keep skimping on the sandwiches get smaller rolls. Today's sandwich was a joke!

Food was amazing! So good! I had the Greek burger w/bacon. Burger was med well cooked to perfection and my partner had the roast beef club just as delicious. The staff were nice and courteous always a plus. Would definitely come back when I visit Philly again.

We had breakfast here on Sunday & everything was great. ESPECIALLY our waitress, Gloria. Honest to God, she was like the perfect & most efficient waitress. I had the country omelet & my boyfriend had the cheesesteak omelet. Both were great. We’ll definitely be coming back!

My son and I had lunch here last weekend. Our waitress was sweet and helpful. Food came fast, hot and delicious. Went again today for lunch but this time with the whole family. We all enjoyed our food. Again the waitress we had today was nice and very attentive. Prices are fair/normal. We found our new place to eat. It's sad though because both times they are pretty empty. (Saturdays) Which is good for us but bad for business. Hopefully they stay open.

Have not been here in a while. Went for breakfast, and it came out very quickly. Everything was delicious. Definitely will be back. Our waitress was very friendly. The desserts and cookies also looked amazing.
