I’m a fan! I had been here before once for a happy hour and it was pretty good but hadn’t ate the food. This time my sister and I had just an appetizer, I thought about something else and am glad I didn’t get it bc of how big the nachos were lol… Look at the pic! I will definitely come back and try some more food and drink. It’s not the best nachos I’ve had or anything which is why it’s a 4/5 but for the portion and price it’s worth it. They have a nice big bar in the first and second floor and a cool outdoor space as well. I got a lemonade drink as well that I really liked! Our server was friendly and checked on us pretty often.

Great new Victory location in the city. Unfortunately, service was slow and they were out of almost every drink we first ordered (supply chain issues are understandable, so maybe mark your menus accordingly?). The cheesesteak was perfect and exactly as expected. The smoked Turkey melt was good, but almost too salty? Something was needed to balance it out. Fine experience, just don’t come here if you’re in a rush.

We stopped in for an early dinner. The place was packed at 4:00 pm. We had to wait for 30 minutes for a table. It is a very good dining option in the heart of Philly. With all of the attractions in the area, this place probably is packed most weekends. This is a brewpub, it is all about beers. Victory is a better brewing company in the area, so it has a wide range of beers, making it a very good brewpub. We are very much surprised with the food quality. The menu is limited. But.... it whatever it has, they are decent, good enough to eat and good enough to satisfy most people, beer drinkers or not beer drinkers alike. We enjoyed our burgers, the pork sandwich, the smoked chicken nachos, and the salad. We chased them down with a couple of "IPA cloudwalkers". Food was better than what we would expect from a brewpub. The place was a mad house, mad in a good sense. It was vibrant, full of youthful energy, with many interesting friendly people. The staff was nice and helpful. They were busy, but very attentive while running from one table to the next.

Had a good time on the rooftop. Nice laid back atmosphere. Food was pretty good. We had the wrap with chicken which included grilled cauliflower. Surprisingly good. Calamari was good but wishing it had some peppers and/or onion strips. Meatballs were a combination of beef, pork, and veal in a marinara sauce. Also, left with a variety pack of their IPAs. Watch out for the Golden Monkey.

Really fun icon for those who appreciate Victory brews abroad. Didn’t realize what I was walking into until I found myself recognizing the cans and labels in the shop! How exciting to find the “home” of one of my favorites, the sour monkey. On a Saturday, this place was absolutely hopping. There were a ton of people there for a variety of college ball games on the screens as well as other groups just enjoying the atmosphere. It was a great place to grab a lone chair at the bar and just hang out for a little bit. I had my drink and ordered food to go. Everything was pretty solid. Beer was ice cold and just excellent. Takeout (meatballs) was great back my hotel too. Overall, awesome service and a great vibe. Easy to recommend.

I really like the location of this restaurant, the outdoor patio with the large windows that open, and how bright the place is. One of my girlfriends and I came here on a Thursday around 6pm for dinner and there was a large crowd but we only waited about 10 minutes for a table. A star was lost because there was food from the previous diners on the seats and on the floor. I asked a member of the staff to wipe the food crumbs of the seat but she only wiped one seat so I ended up wiping the other. My beer selections for my flight were very good. Our food selections were very good as well. We had the meatballs, popcorn shrimp, fried shrimp salad, and Buffalo wings. Our server was attentive so overall this was a good visit and I would return.

We ate here for dinner recently and it was pretty good! When we got there we were told it was a 30 min wait for a table but we could order drinks at the bar while we waited if we wanted. We ordered our drinks and the wait only ended up being about 10-15 mins for a table so that was good. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with fries and my bf got the short rib grilled cheese with fries. He loved his so much and I thought mine was pretty good but definitely felt like it was missing something. I got the berry monkey and red Octobeer to drink. I think I liked the berry monkey more. My bf had a warlock and flight; I think he enjoyed everything as well! I never really have much interest in the beer menus, but here I had a lot of options. Overall it was a good night out and I’d come back!

Loved our date here! The upstairs bar has a great view of the city. We enjoyed the flights. Our bartender Eric was great. Loved the nachos. They didn’t skimp on the toppings. The burger was unbelievable - top 2 burgers I’ve ever had. The roast beef sandwich was good - be prepared that the long hot pepper was insanely spicy lol! Will definitely be back in the warmer weather when the deck is open.

I am a big fan of Victory beer and often buy it from the store. I love the taproom in Philadelphia and my experience tonight was 10/10. My server was Saleem and they were such a kind, attentive, and knowledgeable server. I was impressed by how quickly our food came and how great it tasted. Thank you so much Saleem and I look forward to coming back!

We had such a fun time here. The atmosphere is great. Everyone was so nice and inviting. They have a nice selection of beer as well as spirits and malts. We did a beer flight to get to try 5. I didn’t like the veggie Indian burrito I ordered as it was so wet and soggy but everything else was fantastic. It basically consisted of chicken peas with a curry type tomato sauce with onions and zucchini all mixed together and thrown in a burrito. The wrap basically fell apart in my hands. Needs something fresh maybe less sauce? We loved all of our other food including chicken sandwich as well as the butternut squash dip. The service was fast and our waitress was so nice. We would love to come back. Would love to see a vegetarian cheese steak added to the menu.

Me and my wife have been here opening weekend for the steak and was absolutely impressed. We came on the first of January for the steak again. We ordered medium and it came out noticeably well done. Not sure why a chef would send a dish out in that condition but NBD we asked for it to be remade. The steaks came out well done again.. I’m not sure if the grill isn’t hot enough or the guys in the back can’t read but that’s unacceptable. I don’t complain often, I just hope they get it together. Not sure if we will be coming back for food again but the drinks are A1

Beautiful place with lots of spaces. The service was kind and the ambiance is great. Nice bar and tv’s (a bit larger screen would be great) everywhere to watch live sports. Will definitely come back to try the magnificent terrace.

Victory is a hands down must visit brewery! They have a great selection of beers and a wide variety. Personally I got the Summer Love golden ale which is my favorite for sure. The place is very clean and modern and very well decorated. The service is very friendly, even when it gets busy. They have a rooftop deck with a great view. This is a must visit brewery to take friends to and have a great time 🍺

A good spot to pop into for sure. The staff seems to be running a lot, unsure if they are understaffed or just super busy and popular (good for them if it’s the second one). They were able to seat me without a reservation which was great. The food really is great, especially for a brew pub. The watermelon cider was wonderful. I’d recommend you try it out!

Victory Brewing is a great spot for great vibes and high energy atmosphere. I had a couple of beers and a cider which tasted great. The waitress was amazing and very attentive the whole time. I had the Victory Burger which was amazing. Burger was very flavorful. In my opinion, it was top 3 in my book. I wasn’t a fan of the fries. There was an inconsistency on how crispy the fries were as well as how they were salted. I would return to try other items on their menu. I definitely recommend this brewery for a chill night out.

A good place to have beer with friends. It has a good vibe, nice and clean. I had beer flight, which is 5 beer for $14. All of them were very good! But when it comes to the food, it was such a disappointment! None of the food was tasty. I’ll definitely come back for beer, not the food though.

My husband and I love Victory Brewing and have already been several times since opening. The building is large and clean with 2 floors and an outdoor upper patio. When it’s been really busy the staff is awesome at making sure everyone has drinks. The food is really good too, better and fresher than your normal bar food. We love the wings and pretzel. While all the staff is great, the bar tender Mike is our favorite. He knows I can’t have carbonation and always accommodates making me tasty drinks without it. We look forward to coming back many more times.

This place is great! Came here for dinner on a Friday night with wife, my sister and bro in law. We got a few flights of beers. The beers were great. My favorite was a grape soda one and the juicy monkey. We also got wings and fried calamari. All the food was so good. Can't wait to come again and taste the other beers.

The location is great really in the mid town. The food is regular for pubs like wings toast or soup that we ordered. The beer is delicious

I have been to Victory three times, and beer and service were great every time. They have a nice variety of beer, and good typical bar and grill food choices. The third floor/roof top bar is great in the warmer months.

We had such a wonderful time for our first visit at Victory! It’s a beautiful atmosphere, and I love the single stall bathrooms (I was spoiled by the public toilets on a visit in England and have been chasing that public bathroom experience since lol). The food was great! We did the Cobb, nachos, and burger of the week special. Came out quick and yummy! Staff was super friendly and kind. Would rec to anyone in the area.

I had been wanting to visit Victory since the time it opened. Finally got a chance to visit on Saturday after the Love Park Christmas village. We were quickly seated around 9:15pm. Our host Jesse was nice and also informed us around 10:30 about last call. We ordered a second round and paid our bill at 10:45 and also received our round of drinks at 10:50. Cut to 11pm and a security guy came up to us and very rudely told us that the place is closing now so we have to head out. The table behind us was told the same and we assumed they'd at least give us 5mins to finish our drinks. Within a minute the security personnel came back n firmly told us again that the place is closed now and we need to head out? I had to chug my 10% ABV beer and that hit me real bad later in the night. The security guy was extremely rude to a point where I actually thought he would get physical if I didn't get up right away. They need to let us know at least 15mins prior that they're closing, why would we put up a fight? I got my second drink on the table at 10:50pm and was firmly told at 11pm to get out? I will not be returning to this place because of this extremely rude encounter. Thank you.

Amazing vibes, great beer collection. The victors is already home to some famous and my fav beer like golden monkey, sour monkey, hop lager etc. I had mad king, liberty bell ringer, ksq this time and good taste to discover. The food was ok but we did went on and tried Indian style food on menu. We got kebab, Frankie and wings. Wings were on a but drier side for me and for Indian food, I do tend to have high standards. But all and all great service, great vibe and really good time.

Decided to visit Victory's new Philadelphia location after being a frequent visitor of their primary Downingtown location, and was extremely impressed! As expected, the beer is great as always with notable examples being Sour Monkey and Brewmasters Union. But what really stood out was the location, excellent interior design, and phenomenal food. The walkability for this new location is great, it is easily available from anywhere in Center City. The interior space is also extremely nice, with tons of seating. The real highlight though is the food, in particular the fried calamari and pesto pasta. I'd definitely recommend this location for anyone looking for some beers and great food. We'll definitely be back.

Went here after months of being tempted by it. The building is beautiful and looks inviting with it's location on Ben Franklin Blvd. During the warmer months the rooftop area was full of cheer and revelry. We went here with two friends on a Monday night. We were quoted a 20 minute wait for a table, but it was ready after a couple minutes. The place was full and lively, the second floor was also closed for a private event. I ordered the Tart Monkey and my wife ordered the Festbier. Mine was good, but I wish it was more sour and the Festbier made for easy drinkin'. For food we ordered the brisket meatballs to start, I decided on the Chicken Tinga Burrito, and my wife got the Kebob Naan with lamb. The meatballs were great with a nice marinara sauce, I do wish they were more brisket-y. The burrito was fine. It tasted good but not great. Inside it was overstuffed with rice, beans and chicken. The pickled onions and jalapeno slaw added some depth and the mole sauce wasn't as flavorful as I hoped. My wife had similar thoughts about the naan. Everything tasted good, but lacked something that would have made them great. We'll definitely be back for drinks on the rooftop and appetizers. And the beautiful murals that adorn the walls.

I have ordered Nachos and Caeser salad. That was the worst thing I could have possibly picked. The Caeser was drenched in dressing and the amount of mustard in the dressing killed any other flavor. The Nachos was a joke- no tomatoe, sour cream, guacamole, or pico de gallo. Just plain boiled tasteless chicken, there was no smokey flavor, few canned beans and pickled onions and processed cheese. I am surprised anybody still serves food like this. I will never come back to this establishment.

Came here to mainly shoutout Jesse, he was great. The brewery itself was awesome too, great beers, fun space/environment - perfect for a stop while walking the parkway. The food looked amazing and bummed we had dinner after so didn’t get to check it out. That said, the service Jesse provided was awesome as we definitely weren’t fully in a section that seemed to be server managed and took it upon himself - while being slammed - to take great care of us as well!

I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and fries. It was not good. The chicken had a weird texture and was paper thin. It felt /tasted more like a microwave frozen chicken..if you like bread, order this sandwich. The fries were okay. I ordered a juicy IPA at the bar, while I waited for my takeout..it was good. I'm so disappointed by the chicken sandwich..if I was dining in the restaurant, I would have sent it back. Smh Maybe it's not real chicken..🤷🏾‍♀️

Yes, I know it looks like a line up of medical samples, but this yellow flight was as varied in flavor as it was uniform in color. The golden ale was so surprisingly flavorful, I could have stopped there. But then they made a berry sour version that just made me smile. Ziggy and Summer were equally nice. The dirt wolf was an IPA but not so hoppy. The only one I didn't like was the stout as it tasted watered down. We enjoyed a free treat of the blood orange, which was refreshing. We only ate the chicken nachos and wow, there was actual cut up chicken breast on the nachos versus the typical shredded fake stuff. Our waitress was speedy and attentive. We were there before the dinner rush with our kids, so it felt ok. As we were leaving, the work crowd was coming in and would have been a touch less inviting for families during happy hour if we had stayed. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of everything at this "chain" brewery. I'm excited to try other locations!

Always a great place to go and have a couple of drinks and small bites. Great selection of beer on tap and wonderful snap. Great location as well. It’s nice to have drinks on the rooftop patio on the second floor. This is always a go to spot when I’m in town for work or visiting.

Industrial chic interior with an enormous bar, excellent service with laid-back but enormously efficient staff, and fun (delicious) food! Brisket meatballs were killer. Go here for the monkey, stay for the vibes.

Got to visit Victory Brewing Co for the first time and was impressed. I love the rooftop seating, very vibey! If you’re into IPA I definitely recommend the brotherly love. For food we shared nachos and fried calamari. The nachos were good! The calamari was okay it was extremely crispy and barely any calamari. I’d definitely come back for drinks.

Stumbled upon this gem of a brewery while in Philadelphia and I loved it. I loved that they have your own flight that too can mix, a ton of variety to choose from, and a great rooftop area. The staff was incredibly fun and friendly! Definitely recommend checking them out.

Victory Brewing Company is in a great location downtown. Their space has a couple of floors, multiple large bars, and a really nice sized patio outside the second floor. They have a great menu with lots of options. The smoked chicken nachos were fantastic. Their beer list is pretty extensive, as you'd expect from a larger brewery. We tried a number of them and were really happy with each (bought some to go too). The staff are really friendly, helpful and attentive. Bathrooms are single occupancy gender neutral. I'd highly recommend and plan on getting back soon!

  • 5/5 Caroline G. 2 years ago on Google
This is an awesome extension of the Victory franchise. We are centrally located to the 3 other locations so we typically know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. While we have never had a poor experience at the other locations, they lend themselves to feel more homey and draw a more local crowd. While this is not a bad thing, sometimes the vibe is lacking. The food at all the Victory locations is always top notch, we've never had a bad meal and Philly was no exception. All locations have a local flair which makes you want to come back for more. I cannot always say that about the beers but Malcolm and Megan/Meghan/Meagan (not sure of spelling) are the best of the best when it comes to bar experiencet. They are so friendly and knowledgeable. While I'm sure the first floor is just as cool, I highly suggest venturing upstairs and grab a seat at the bar. Both were real and honest on their opinions of the beers which often does not happen and can make a choice difficult for someone to make a decision. Blind devotion for a brewery is sometimes very frustrating though some genuinely love every beer produced. If you are near the Parkway, disappointed with the beer list of a nearby restaurant, you stop by the Federal Donuts around the corner make this a stop before you head home.

Cool atmosphere, fries could have been hotter. Pretzel was super tasty. Server Lydia was nice until it was time to get the check and we waited around for a while. Overall good place to be.
