Amazing place: air conditioned seating area and fresh, great quality sushi! The Vegetarian Menu was the best I ever had - so much choice (with asparagus and tamagoyaki too) and care taken to make it a great experience and really very tasty fresh avocado! Definitely a place that deserves 5 stars. If we're back in Mannheim soon, we'll come again!

The lunch menus are great! The portions are very big for a great price!

The lunch menu was a good value for money. The size of nigiri was shocking - at least double the size of a regular nigiri elsewhere.

Poor food quality, poor sushi making skills (rolls too big to be eaten in one bite, breaking when held with chopsticks) and poor overall service quality (3 wrong orders out of 12, receipt not printed but handwritten on the back of another receipt). Definitely won't go back

slow service, sushi out of proportion, certain drinks weren’t available (“they were too hot?!”) yet written on the menu, had a card machine but only accepted “Deutsche bank” cards, didn’t check on us once during dinner and just overall not a good experience.

So far - the best I have had in Mannheim. The quality of fish is quite good. The sashimi cut is thick. Other ingredients also have big portions inside. It’s quite fresh. Finally some fish have taste in Europe. I have been there many times. You can’t even finish the big lunch menu. Super worthy the price at 14€.

I have been going to Takeshi for years and it’s owner and staff are always very friendly and the food is superb. The quality of the sushi and the variety of options is amazing and so is the value for money.

Really good sushis, generous servings and very fresh products! I can only recommend! Big plus: gluten free soya sauce

The people are friendly, the food is fresh and delicious, but not expensive. Lachs carpaccio and soup noodles are our favorite. Plus the fortune cookies!

Good sushi, good people and great service. We ordered a bigger plate and wanted to share, they even gave us free extra miso soup. The sushi is also good. I am not an expert in sushi, so i cannot compare much but i liked it better than some Ive had so far.

Ambience is nice here. Staff was very attendant. Sushi was decent, the nori was good and the rice looked nice (not broken) . I like it when the rice has a little bit more flavor though. I ate at most sushi places now in Mannheim and this one comes second. Edit: Lowered my rating after second visit. The sushi is too big and lacks the finesse sushi should have.

Best sushi I had in a long time

The sushi plates are huge and the individual roles too! Definitely worth the price. The place is quite and probably due to the location, not very popular. Definitely a recommendation!

One of the best sushi places in Germany! Price/quality is amazing, you get very good rolls for decent price. I have not expected good sushi in Germany, but this place changed my opinion. Would definitely recommend and go again myself.

Great taste, everything is hand-made, extremely clean. I left this place with a full tummy and a happy soul :)

Best sushi place in Mannheim .. it really became my favorite place to eat sushi… I recently discovered this lovely place which offers big size sushis at a nice price, air conditioning inside, good service, fresh ingredients.. very happy i found this place :)
