👍👍 Great place to walk, beautiful cliff walk along Hudson River. Remnants of 18th century ice house and oxen barn. Love the old stone bridges.

Manitou Point is a nature preserve in Garrison NY. The preserve was previously owned by the Livingston, descendant of Philip Livingston. This is a relatively easy hike through densely wooded forest and alongside the Hudson River. Trails are narrow so be careful but are well marked.

A fun little hidden preserve. It was a bit advanced of a hike please be careful of the rocks they're very easy to trip over.

Parking is no longer. There's a private gate at the parking area identified on map.

This place is ok, but it's packed with snakes and ticks. They should put some signs up to at least warn people. My niece got two tick bites and was later diagnosed with Lyme disease. Luckily they got it in time and she's ok. I won't be going back any time soon. There are much safer and better trails around the area. Not worth it!
