Used to love this place when it was the Jackelope. Now there are speakers everywhere and it's too loud. If you like going to dead bars and listening to a DJ scream into a microphone on Saturday nights, then this is the place for you.

Music way too loud and trashy, vibe doesn't not match roosevelt at all. Horrible setup, staff clearly doesn't like their job. Previously was one of my favorite spots when it was called Jackalope, now its the actual worst.

Loud for no reason, not popping. Employees look depressed and bored, over priced mediocre drinks and food. Skippppp

Seemingly the only bar in the neighborhood that doesn't have any draft beer. Lots of menu items are overpriced ($14 for 6 wings, really?) and the bacon mac-n-cheese that a lot of customers loved has been removed. On the plus side the cocktails are decent and each one specifies what liquor you're getting, so you know you're not paying $15 for a drink with well tequila. It's unclear what the new ownership wants this place to be. The abundance of TVs inside says "sports bar" but the loud music on the weekends and complete lack of draft beer says otherwise. The biggest thing it has going for it is the location, which is convenient for people who live nearby and a short walk from popular hotels. It's not bad, but there are better options in the area.

Playing their music way too loud to disrupt neighbors. The music is so so loud all through the day and into the night. Please turn your music down and respect neighbors during the week! If anything, adjust the speakers so that it doesn’t blast upwards towards the neighbors. Monday night at 10:45pm, blasting music.

Another here today gone tomorrow format in a known loser location. This place is even dead on first Friday. The Karaoke is horrid too. All they do is blast music with outward facing speakers to try and draw people from Cobras line. Sad.

Can’t see this spot lasting long if blasting music is their only plan for drawing in clientele.

Never ever have I been to a restaurant with such a welcoming environment and extremely friendly team of workers who really do treat you amazingly but also with the utmost care and respect. If you are in town and craving a delicious meal, this is definitely the place to visit and without a doubt I will be returning in the future!

Excellent service & food. Be advised they have an entire back area around the building with Cornhole & nice seating areas! Also nice that they have 2 undesignated restrooms which make the lines less when busy.

This is not the same Topaz Bar & Lounge. The phone number listed doesn’t work. The website and menu listed are not current. The restaurant is under new management/ownership… again. At the very least the restaurant should update their menu and website to reflect what they actually serve. Was so looking forward to the original Jackalope Burger (was renamed to Topaz Burger) with beer battered fries. The pseudo “Topaz Burger” we got tonight was nothing like the original and fries were standard frozen fries. They did away with the beer battered fries. Best of luck to the owner. Super dope location and atmosphere. Please update your website and menu.

I've been a repeat customer since this place was opened as Jackalope back in 2020. The atmosphere, staff, food, and drinks have always been top notch and that hasn't changed! Since the change of ownership, I have to say I appreciate the upgrades, including sound system and patio extensions, karaoke, and trivia nights,etc. The attitude of the staff, not to mention the attention placed on customer service is still top notch; and while we all know it's never easy transitioning and dealing with changes, everyone seems to have handled things very well. This place gets my vote every time and will continue to do.

I had an amazing experience here. The falafel burger and cauliflower wings are a must try for vegetarians! The bar and staff are amazing. Also, they have an awesome outdoor patio with cornhole. Great place to check out.

Turn down the music. Place reminds me of tourist traps on a boardwalk. Turn the music up to full blast and hope people show up. Lack of identity and what they are, a sports bar, a hip hop club, a restaurant...err I didn't even know they served food.

I was drawn in by the loud music. I only wish I appreciated house mix music more. 15 mins was enough for me.

The location is amazing so is the ambiance and food. On Saturdays, the Afrobeats event is a fun vibe to checkout. You can’t beat the indoor-outdoor setup. Great place for cute date night, to watch sports, or just a night out with friends.

This place is a whole entire vibe! The drinks are reasonably priced, the food was delicious. I've been craving the fries ever since we left haha. I only gave the food 4 stars because the chicken tenders were really small. They were delicious so I wish they were bigger. The service was exceptional! We felt like VIP the entire time. I'm not really a club type of person so I LOVED the fact that they have a back "yard" area that felt like being at a family bbq so you don't have to stay in a crowded bar. We will DEFINITELY be back!

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS 10/10!!!! Literally have no complaints & had the time of my life there last night :) the food was delicious, the servers were very sweet & attentive, and it was clean and inviting. These other reviews about the music being too loud seem very discriminatory because there’s so many other venues surrounding where I can hear their music blasting down the street ! I hope this place stays around for a long time.

5-star Mexican food! Amazing street tacos. Happened to walk in from the hotel down the street and the couple who own La Estacion have taken over management and the kitchen. Very sweet people and VERY good food! So much so that I made a point to go back. “Just a bar” on the surface but I hope they have the success they deserve! Worth stopping in anytime of day!

When I entered the courtyard is very welcoming. It’s a plethora of seating outside, there is 2 sides. I liked the spacious picnic type area they had setup and the grass was a nice touch. The inside of the venue was small but spacious. That’s where the bar was located. Service everywhere was slow. I went during a special event, so I don’t know if that is normal. It took 30 min for me to get a sprite and we received our food 2 hours later(they had to remake the order because the first order didn’t make it to my party). The food was GOOD. It came out hot, the meat tasted fresh and the portions were great. It was very satisfying. I enjoyed myself. I will go back on a normal day during happy hour to see how service is.

Turn down your obnoxious loud music!! Wth it goes till like 2am. It’s like a circus. Have some respect for the residents/neighbors. And get a working number. Next time filing a police complaint and you will get a nice fine. Have a good day.

Topaz is a great community SPACE in DtPhx! The bar inside is small but cozy and the lighting and ambiance is a nice touch. Drinks are good, but pricey $$ music hits and the front patio with the wood frame seating is real dope. Check it out on a Saturday to catch a feel!
