👍 The best orange chicken ever! It melts in your mouth, sooo good! Best I ever had. I ordered a beef plate, it had very little meat compared to vegetable but I must say it was amazingly tender. Just not enough of it. Skip eating in, not much ambiance. Park in back. Also be aware of street construction... People often mention good, years, chicken,

New Garden has been around for decades when Maria was the owner, then other family members took over. I like the owner now very much but the food isn't like before and as far as the service when Justin is there it is great he's so cheerful all the time!...Sorry New Garden but I have to be honest on my reviews. I believe u should return to the old recipes!...😊

This place is in a kind of an awkward area but it is SO WORTH IT! The food is really good! They sometimes are running a bit behind on orders during lunch time, but that just means they're delicious and everyone is ordering! My whole office loves this food, we all definitely recommend it! They also package it very nicely and give us a big box to help carry it all, which is nice!

This place is a little whole in the wall that's been there for over 25yrs but their food is so damn good. Seriously they're shrimp greens, the egg roll, they're fried rice, all their food is so good. Can't go wrong. It doesn't look like much and parking is in the back but don't judge a book by its cover.

Been eating here for almost 40 years. Still the best, for me. Not a single place like it. Family-owned and operated and their portions are generous. They even provided extra food "on the house" for our little ones. I miss entering through the kitchen.☺️

Ok, I only ever eat the pork fried rice and sweet/sour chicken and they do an amazing job at that. The food is magic. This is an old restaurant and it shows. Sure they could clean the door, sure they could mop every now and then, and maybe have the employees act like they’re happy to have you eating there. There’s always gonna be something that can be done to fix this place, but the food is what keeps the doors open and bills paid. I swear the only one happy to work here is the lady in the kitchen. The one and only “Cocina Maria’s” “Scary Mary” and I go at least once a week.

I have been trying to find a good Asian food restaurant since I moved here. I have tried over 10 places in town and have been disappointed. I heard about New Garden Restaurant on Tiktok and decided to try it. It was better than expected. We picked up and drove 45 mins home. When we got home, everything was still super hot and crispy! The egg rolls and the sesame chicken were both still very crispy and delicious. It was hands down the best sesame chicken I’ve ever had. The egg drop soup was well seasoned. The king pao beef was on point. I will definitely be returning again. This is my new favorite Asian food restaurant. The best part, the serving sizes were LARGE. I spent $50 total, but I’m getting 2 meals for 3 people out of it. Worth the 45 min drive.

Very delicious. I got the teriyaki chicken. The younger guy who took order was nice. Super chill spot. Nice family business. I would recommend. I’ll be back with my wife to try the fried rice.

The menu is faded, and predates your birth. The paint is yellowing from years of phoenix grime. There might be someone doing homework. But my god, the food is dialed in. This is it, you found your perfect asian food joint.

Old school Chinese food restaurant that’s been here over 60 years. Known for take out more than dine in, you park in the back and walk in through the kitchen where you can see the woks on the big flame. Get the big egg rolls!

Well, I've been asking my husband to take me here for a couple years now, and he finally did. I was very dissapointed, as the ownership has changed. We entered through the back which leads through the kitchen, welcomed by the cooks. I wonder if it's ever been inspected, if so he must have been blind. Dark and dirty. Then passing through you enter into the dinning room. It is fairly tidy, with no ambiance at all. It does have oldies music playing which is cool. One employee that brings you the menu acts like he is really bothered to be there, not polite at all. After ordering, the food was served by another man whom was a bit more polite, but english very poor, couldn't understand him. Food was hot, looked apealing, but taste wasn't there. Ordered shrimp fooyoung, bland dark sauce covering it, portion was large. Also ordered sweet and sour pork, which was crispy, and served alone, no vegetables or pineapple, sauce weak and served in a bowl, along with rice. I ordered lomein noodles with chicken, they were fair, and a large portion. I knew how the place looked from being there years ago, so I took the chance. Sorry to sayI will not be back.

Our family has been visiting this restaurant for three generations. Love the food. Courteous and respectful service.

The best Chinese food in the valley. Their kung pao chicken and egg drop soup never fail. Portions are hugeeee. My boyfriend and I have been coming here for years. Even through the pandemic they were always consistently good. A must try.

Service was slow, we watched as others get services faster than us. I ended up having to order the food online. Then the shrimp lo mein had no flavor, even after I added soy sauce and I NEVER add soy sauce to my lo mein. Sad. This is the 2nd time I got let down. I've been here 4 different times and they are at 50/50. 2 times food was good and 2 times the food was not tasty.

Their "cream cheese puffs" are more puff than cheese. I basically just ordered a wonton, with essence of cream cheese. I wasn't expecting it packed, but damn can I have some cheese with my puff, please. Either that or make, the puff smaller. That's about the only thing I was disappointed about. Oh and lock your doors, if you are going wait in the car, for someone to run in to get the order. Neighborhood, is real sketchy.

This cafe is humble and unobtrusive, but it's worth the journey just for the AMAZING meal! The bill for two full dinners was $25 and change, which is possibly an undervaluation. When I see my daughter there in the future, I'll most surely return.

My wife showed me this place back in 2008. It has been here for ever, from what she said. And man! 2022 we still come here. Portions are so much you have lunch to take to work tomorrow. Egg roll bigger than a breakfast burrito from any bertos. Everything tastes soooo good too! And the prices are perfect. Thank you new garden, for years of great oldies and great food....MR. A/C

Atmosphere was quite subdued. Large dining area but very few people dining in. Food was fantastic. Great noodles, egg rolls were OK but everything else was great

I did not enjoy dinner here at all. My egg rolls didn’t arrive and the service was so off-putting, I didn’t even bother asking about it. Those giant egg rolls are ALL fried dough…Not good. I can appreciate an old family run business, but place is just super sad. I gave 2 stars for price. Won’t be back.

This place is modest and unassuming but well worth the trip simply because the food was SO good! Possibly underpriced even, the check for 2 full dinners was 25 and change. I'll definitely go again next time I visit my daughter there.
