They were decently busy but I got seated pretty much immediately and was set up with a beer right off the bat. Becca is amazing and my lunch mate and I loved her to death! The grilled honey hot chicken sandwich was great, and the beer fries were perfect! The beer is obviously Uncle Bear’s so of course it was awesome.

This place was so fun! We all built our own beer flights and the appetizers were great. The server we had was super friendly and helpful with choosing beers for our flights. I loved the outdoor patio, and I will definitely be back!

Great take out experience. I actually placed a to-go order of salt & pepper wings, steak fries, and mozzarella sticks from the parking lot. The team member stated that the order would be ready in 5 minutes. Wow! I must see this to believe it. True to their word. Very impressive! Once home, all items were still hot. We enjoyed the game day dinner! Erik definitely visit again this time maybe seat inside as a enjoy a game! While I waited for the check and food, I noticed the sports-like atmosphere. Several TV throughout. Very spacious and can accommodate large parties. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Great service. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Wings lacked seasoning on the inside. Very bland but the outside was ok. Prime rib sliders were very very salty but edible. Au jus sauce was not used. Nice atmosphere.

A month late posting but Uncle Bear's was a fun time! Part of that fun was listening to the two drunks at the bar hitting on the waitress. Boy, did she handle them well, with decorum and style. The food. Yeah, the food was very good, as were the two cocktails. The booze was so tasty we almost ordered a couple more but listening to the two drunks at the bar made us change our minds. Our server, Brandi, was top notch: attentive, friendly, patient, and helpful. Uncle Bear's has a pretty long list of menu items so Brandi had to come back a few times before we were finally ready to place our meal order. The pretzel and drinks came out quickly, the food did not take long to follow. My sister dug her OB "Dog Beach" shroom burger, and I devoured Coco's PB&J. I know, it sounds kinda gross (who puts peanut butter & jelly on a burger?!) but I had seen it at othe places before & while visiting Uncle Bear's I took the plunge. It was good! Although the serrano jelly was a bit too hot for my taste buds, I would still recommend it. The coleslaw was not the vinegary kind, it was very refreshing. I would definitely visit Uncle Bear's again, if only to taste a couple different cocktails.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Uncle Bear's Grill & Tap! It just happened to be a quieter Saturday night, and the atmosphere was very clean, bright, and inviting. The noise level was just right! The food was excellent; we had a few different burgers and the brisket sandwich. Everything was reasonably priced. The service was quick and friendly. I would definitely go back; it is a great neighborhood bar and grill.

A great Dog friendly restaurant to take your furry friend. They even give you a menu for your dog. Will definitely come here again.

Having been to one if the Mesa locations a number of times I was excited about this location opening up near my home. The inside is open and full of TVs tuned to sporting events. There is a large bar area and outdoor seating. It seems like the menu has evolved over time. I remember it being a bit more interesting. The selection is your standard pub grub menu. As a "tap house" they have a number of craft beers to choose from. We had their chicken wings, a burger, and chicken tenders. The wings were pretty okay and their parmesan garlic fries are flavorful. The burger was somewhat of a smashed burger style. It was all just okay but nothing outstanding, uniquely creative, or memorable. Middle of the road, like going to Applebee's. It looks like they want to franchise so maybe that's the direction they're headed. Our server, Shelly, was spectacular. Beyond spectacular. In the category of "tap house" there are a LOT of options in the Phoenix area. I'm not sure they stand out in any particular way that would convince me to choose them over another spot.

Absolutely fabulous place ! I personally prefer sticking with a veggie diet and I had asked to custom order a fajita style meal with only veggies and corn tortillas. Our server Lauren (at the bar) was entirely helpful and without any issues. She’s so kind and helpful! Before the veggies arrived another server from the back had informed me everything was freshly vegan style without any animal fat. I am very impressed! I want to thank this establishment and the kitchen for such awesome people and amazing food! Best veggie fajitas ever !!!

Flights of beer are fun, the burger was flavorful and i like the dog theme. Wait time for service was a little long for 2/3 full place but friendly. Beer was a bit flat. Pricing was average.

Lauren was an excellent server. I have been in the service industry for over 10 years and I would have Lauren train my staff if I had the pleasure to work with her. The back of house did a great job with the food, and made us feel comfortable with our party's food allergy request. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back again.

Solid food, beer, and service. A nice, friendly, brewery experience overall. Try the garlic parm fries. Yum! It was noon on a Saturday and when we arrived we were literally the only folks in the place. Might be seasonal (hot lately), but the strip mall lot was pretty full, so…. everything about this location of uncle bears seems right, but maybe cost is keeping folks home? They’re definitely pricey, but no more pricey than other similar restaurants of late. Hmm. Hope they make it.

Amazing experience here. The bar has huge garage doors that open for fresh air and they always have the top sports events on TV. They have an ever-changing menu of craft beers but a steady list of their favorites. The food is excellent, I like their chicken wings, sliders, and fajitas so far. Their burgers look great too. The staff are friendly and attentive, I really enjoy Shad and Lauren. They make you feel welcome and know the menus. Perfect neighborhood watering hole in paradise valley.

Brandy our bartender was so sooo great, we did the Thursday special 2 brisket sliders which were bomb, a pomegranate Long Island, and tried several of their beer selections on tap!

Brandi is the dopest bartender out there! Super personable and very knowledgable of the menu and the beers. All around great experience!

Stopped in for dinner last night. Was our first time and we were not disappointed. Food was fantastic and even better was Brandi. How fabulous is this person. She is by far the best server EVER!! Ty so much for a great experience.

My fiancé and I wanted to go somewhere new for dinner and came across Uncle Bear’s. We were immediately greeted by Shayla (our waitress) and seated. We decided to share the pizza, and added the brisket and jalapeños. The brisket is so soft with a smoky flavor; it was the perfect addition to our pizza. We will definitely be back to try more food.

Austin was amazing! Thank you for being so attractive. It's dog friendly so bring the pups. Lots of pix of customers with their dogs. The food was amazing. We definitely recommend this place, both for food and pets. Thank you Austin for a great experience.

Honestly extremely disappointed. We (5 people) came today (Sunday) around 1:30pm. The restaurant had 3 tables inside with a total of 6 people. I am gluten free and love their wings. Every time except this time the manager has baked my wings instead of fry them to accommodate my dietary needs. My allergy isn’t a choice or something I’m doing as trend. I’ve spoken to the owner in the past and they have told me they have no problem accommodating the request if the restaurant isn’t busy and told me it takes 20-30 min which I’m always ok with. We chose to sit down because it wasn’t busy thinking they would have no issues as normal. But apparently the kitchen manager (Anthony) chose not to accommodate a local regular. Maybe he wanted to stand around and watch football instead of watching 10 wings in the oven for 20 min. He came out with an attitude and shared with me that him and the other manager buttheads and he’s putting his foot down and will be giving him a call and will not make my wings today! Not even a I’ll do it this time but going forward….Not really something you share with a customer as it sounds completely unprofessional. I felt bad for our waitress who was new and in training because she was so sweet and understanding. Most businesses are struggling with the way the economy is currently and to be honest in Scottsdale/phoenix we have 1000’s of other choices but we chose Uncle Bears. Unfortunately they just lost business from a family of 5 that attend uncle Bears regularly. Plenty of other restaurants near by that will have over the top customer service with just as good of food and accommodate a gluten allergy. I wish Uncle Bears the best of luck!

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit einer tollen Bierauswahl. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und gleich an unseren Tisch geführt. Ich lies mich von unserer Bedienung beraten und bestelle mir fünf verschiedene Biersorten zum Probieren, welche alle sehr lecker waren. Zum Essen hatten wir Knoblauch-Parmesan-Pommes und Chicken Wings, was auch äußerst schmackhaft war. Die Einrichtung ist toll und das Restaurant scheinbar sehr hundefreundlich. Beim nächsten Besuch in Phoenix fahren wir sicher wieder dort hin.

My family is visit AZ this weekend and the original restaurant we were going to had a wait. We walked passed this bar and saw they had a brunch! It was empty, why not try it! Staff: Very nice, accommodating and great service all around! They make you feel very welcome. good vibes! Food: Very good! We had the burger, the brunch skillet, sliders and bottomless mimosas! 10 out of 10!
