Edit: Not sure what’s going on but the quality of food has greatly decreased I am no longer impressed. Also upsetting that your restaurant charged an unauthorized tip amount on my credit card. I still have not received a call back regarding refund status. Please get it together! Enjoyed a beautiful birthday dinner at George Yang’s Central Phoenix and was blown away. From the moment you walk in the doors you’re immediately greeted by friendly staff accompanied with traditionally modern Feng Shui. We ordered the beef fried rice, orange chicken, salt & pepper wings, and Mongolian beef and let’s just say George Yang’s has become a family favorite for generations to come. I’d especially like to recognize my server, Becky. Becky was friendly, incredibly kind, and provided the best service I’ve ever witnessed in my entire life. She is truly a gem who should be considered for a position of leadership.

Visiting from Vancouver, and craving for Chinese. Read reviews and decided to try George Yang! Love the restaurant, super friendly staff, Joseph was so funny! We had seafood pancake, fried taro ( want to go home and re-create this), they recommended this beef, super tender beef in a sweet savory sauce with a little kick! Amazing! Heard from the waiters there are 2 more, will try them again for sure! Perfect ending to a work day.

I have lived in this neighborhood for 20 years and never stopped into this great neighborhood Chinese restaurant. First impression is very good with a tastefully and dim lit space. All the usual suspects on the menu and we ordered the spicy Thai basil chicken and the shrimp in black bean sauce and both were excellent. The service was also impressive. Very friendly and efficient staff. Decent beer selection and a full bar. We will definitely be back

It may be easy to pass this place when on N 16th St, but it is definitely worth of stopping. I visited this location later in the evening, but still received a welcoming and attentive service. Food was excellent, too. Plenty of parking immediately by the restaurant and in the area.

The absolute best Chinese cuisine I've ever had. The atmosphere is perfection and the portion sizes are huge! Highly recommend.

Woah! What a great place! I came here on a whim and I’m so glad I did. I’ve come three times since, every time has been a hit. First, the inside is beautiful, during the day it’s bright and airy and at night the place is moody and trendy. Second, I’ve never seen bathrooms as clean as this one. They always say you can tell how clean the kitchen is by seeing how clean the bathroom is. I thought it might be a fluke so every time I’ve been I’ve checked and every time it is 100% spotless. Third, the food is like nothing else. You can tell they use real ingredients prepped in the kitchen and created by scratch. I haven’t had a dish yet that I haven’t enjoyed. One of my favorites so far is the citrus chicken. That’s magic in a plate. Crab puffs are delish but the pot stickers always take the crown. Fourth, and I would say this is the main reason why I come back. Every single employee that I’ve interacted with has been incredible, knowledgeable and so nice. You can tell the staff there cares about their place of work. Plates always come out before the food and the food is fast too! If you’ve gotten this far in my review then you have to check this place out! You’re not going to regret it. I would say the prices are a perfect balance for a quality dining experience and food. Especially with times right now, spend your money on a night out that’s going to be amazing, like at George Yang’s Chinese Cuisine. This place is perfect for any sort of group of people, from dates to parties, and there will be something on the menu that everyone will like.

Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. I've never experienced such a high level of customer service anywhere. The food was absolutely phenomenal and carefully cooked. The best part: the food is served family style. The staff is more than thoughtful and kind. When we finished out meal everything was boxed up for us. The restaurant and bathrooms are exceptional clean too! We look forward to bringing the rest of the family next time.

This was our third visit, and I have to say George Yang’s serves the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. On this visit I had the chicken, lettuce, wraps appetizer as an entrée, because we had also had crab cheese, wontons, calamari, and an eggroll. So I felt like I didn’t need an entrée after all of that. Additionally, this is the best calamari I’ve ever had - you can tell it is real squid as opposed to what you get at many restaurants. I won’t reveal the secret here, but trust me it’s not pretty. The crab cheese wontons are obviously made in house because they don’t look like those prepackaged Too perfect that you see at many places. These were fresh and had just the right balance of crab and cream cheese. My chicken wraps were delicious, the lettuce was fresh and crisp, which is exactly what is most necessary in this dish, along with flavorful moist chicken. On previous visits I have enjoyed the Thai basil chicken. It is out of this world. I have mine spicy with extra basil and it is absolutely delicious. My partners standby is the crispy orange beef. They use a very good cut of beef, which is tender and delicious. Our dining partners had the Mushu pork and the dragon and phoenix, and both of them looked tantalizing. They have a full bar with many beers in bottles and drafts to choose from as well as any hard liquor and wine. For our dining partners and us, This is the only restaurant we have visited multiple times so I would highly recommend George Yang‘s for the best Chinese food you could possibly get

Loved the atmosphere and service was first rate. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Had lots of fun. I had ordered the orange beef and was not disappointed. I had been searching for a good orange beef for years. Definitely will return.

I found out about George Yang's via making a Door Dash delivery. When I asked the recipient about their food (I'm always on the lookout for great Chinese food), he said it was the best in Phoenix. I then ventured into Yang's and found this to be true. Because I was by myself and having a light lunch, I ordered their sizzling rice soup. It's only $6, tasty and just the right amount to fill my stomach. When I returned with a friend, I ordered Mu Goo Gai Pan and found it to be exceptional. The meat was super high quality, the veggies were crisp and not glopped with a ton of salty sauce. If you're craving a taste of Asian food, go to George.

Ordered from Grub Hub. Vegetable Chow Mein. Description: stir fried soft noodles with vegetables. Not: Asian vegetables in brown sauce. Not : vegetables with noodles in brown sauce. The way too much brown sauce was …. Horrible tasting salty sauce. Horrible!!! Really disappointed. I have no idea what that sauce is supposed to taste like all I could taste was salt. And it’s not healthy to have it served that way. Sauce should be an option on the side, or not offered all over the food. Food should not be served overly smothered with sauce. Do Better!!!

My family and I enjoyed Christmas Eve dinner at George Yang's. My first time there, they offered a limited holiday menu, and we shared 3 classic Chinese dishes, chicken and vegetables, black pepper beef, and house special fried rice. Service was a little hurried but friendly, and the food was delicious. So if you're looking for somewhere to eat Christmas Eve and nothing is open, remember there's always Chinese food, and why not try George Yang's for that holiday meal.

The food was delicious and we did enjoy our experience. Wasn't so busy and quiet for the most part. Clean and everything was organized. Normally we will do takeout but we tried sitting in today. I think we will stick to takeout. They are very quick and consistent.

By far the best Chinese food ever! My table of 3 all agreed it is the best we have tried. (Besides Yen Ching in Mesa) Really good service as well very kind & genuine. Chow mein was unlike any I've had more sauce and flavor. Orange chicken was perfectly fried not too much breading and fresh. Definitely pricey $16+ a plate but if you want the best of the best, go here. This is not panda express quality. You get what you pay for here.
