Update: 11/13/23 The new manager John started out good by getting everything fixed from the last manager but has soon ended as not being helpful at all. The kids in complex broke all the sprinklers with rocks (I sent them photos) and my car was getting water marks and he refused to change my parking spot. Only offered non covered parking ( which I do not pay for). I asked both him and his co worker Holly to look at my car and they refused. They won't provide insurance info either. Now the place is infested with large roaches and they say I have to let a complete stranger (pest control) into my apartment when I'm not at home only on Fridays. So I would have to take a day off everytime to get sprayed inside. Do NOT LIVE HERE the place is poorly managed, still. I'm just waiting till my lease is up to get out of this rat hole. This place is going downhill and they aren't doing anything about it. From the lack of management to general manager and the property itself. They've extended the pool hours so you want quiet you are not getting it. They dont care. Plus it isn't worth the rental price. Look elsewhere if you want quiet and pleasant atmosphere for your money. Worthless property manager ever!!!!! Don't let her comment below appear that she is doing her job because she isnt.

I have lived in the apartments for about three years now. I was a tenant when Graystar was the management company. That company had great management staff that worked on the property. The property was well-kept and looked really nice. It was a great place to live. Also, the rent price was comparable now they are trying to ask way above what the apartment is worth. With the change to the new management company, the new staff are very unfriendly. They make you feel unwanted. And with the opening of the new rent office that took five years to open they make you feel like they don’t even want you in the new rent office location. The old management would have donuts in the rent office and ask you to come and join them throughout the day this new company they wanna kick you out as fast as you get in there. The main manager of the staff is unfriendly and she treats you very suspicious like. I would not recommend this apartment complex.

Updated review (4 stars): This property was bought by another property management company, and I believe that the quality has gone down. Community facilities are rarely working (grills, hot tub, etc) and it is very difficult to reach the office staff on the phone. Property still looks very nice outside and grounds are well maintained. Original Review (5 stars): I had lived in this apartment complex for 5 months now, and I love it! The management is always helpful and responsive. Work orders are completed very quickly. The property is maintained well and it is generally very quiet. I find this complex affordable to live in, and the neighborhood is amazing!! Active community with walking and biking trails, lakes nearby, and close to South Mountain!

Pay close attention to this please! I am a veteran with cancer currently going thru chemo/radiation combination.i have lived in these apartments for approx 2 years and due to my condition i was low on funds. In the 2 year period I did not have 1 late charge.for my situationi was working with DES to help with my rent. There is a new manaager his name is John. Well my late payment was for August 4th. The conplex recieved an email from DES stating if he registered the funds would be sent directly to him and that it was immediately available By law the conplex is not required to register so the funds sat idle for the 5 day period he did not register. Because of this it took till Saturday. Before the funds would be released to me.meaning with labor day weekend the funds would make the September payment late as well. Which meant I would owe an extra 300 dollars which I did not have. I had my eviction court date on September 4th i called John directly after and asked if I recieved the funds b4 the 11th eviction date would he work with me his answer was ill have to think about it?? I said could i discuss this with his manager he said he would concider talking to his manager who would not return until the 11th which was my eviction date. I was in tears knowing i would end up homeless. I scrambled doing what I could do to prevent me being homeless. I was able to fund a solutioin early friday morning. Friday afternoon John called me at 3pm stating he heard i recieved the funds but because of the September late fee caused by him I did not have enough and would again face eviction for September rent. Its almost like he was purposely making me fail. Anyhow I had no choice but to move elsewhere. All because being behind for 1 month. Best way I can put this is he does not support homeless prevention instead brutally unworkable. To the point óf purposely causing homelessness. stay away from this complex!! Do not allow them to do the same to you for being late for just 1 month. I had to move on the 10th and nearly ended up in the ER for heat exhaustion/stroke. The cancer was part of this. Other reasons for not staying here is in my 2 years there only 1 pool was functional they have built a new pool and hot tub whoch is still not open. And the hot tub is so small will not fit more tha 3 or 4 people. Its the size of a portale hottub? Also the water rates were raised by 50% but the conplex raised the water rates by 100%. While dealing with my situation i heard several tenets on a tight budget coming by to talk about this and could hear him rasing his voice like he was on some kind of power trip while dealing with these people denying any sort of help. More like deal with it or leave!!. As well take a flashlight out by the trash containers you will see 1000's of roaches as well all over the complex. I seriously was having to kill the roaches in my apartment on the daily. Absolutly horrible!!! Again I was in this situation due to cancer and I am a veteran why would myself let alone anyone else be treated as such!!!!! Please save your dignity and stay as faraway from this complex as you can!!!! It will be one of the best decisions you will make in your lifetime.

I'd love to give this place a higher rating but it's very dishonest. Roaches are everywhere they crawl on the gates and walls outside I got rid of half my furniture and kitchen wear because of I spend hundred of dollars on raid to kill them because the pest control they use do not work and the responses they give people is not reassuring but dismissive and give no solution I'm probably gonna get an automated response saying that they value their workers and work hard to ensure satisfaction when that's not what people want to hear we have problems that need resolved 1,500 for a one bedroom apartment with little to no help is way to over priced and people are struggling to find comfort the people in the front office are very rude I called to get help with a roach issue resolved I asked them if this becomes an issue what happens and she tells me "it wont happen again" it will work don't worry about it.

Updated, still totally under construction. No amenities since 2018. If you complain about the murder on the property, you'll receive a notice of intent not to renew your lease and so will your elderly parents. Do this somewhere else. Don't give your money to these people. Make sure you visit this property on a Friday or Saturday night before you give them your money. Talk to other residents. They are liars and they've changed management companies four times in 3 years. Ask about the tax status on the property and how many low income apartments are on the property.

A little pricey but the apartments are nice, things are fixed very quickly and the staff are pleasant. Upstairs units have nice high ceilings and are preferable. Parking can be a little tight if you have 2+ cars since only 1 is covered. Neighbors are generally not too noisy and the walls are pretty thick so you don't hear them even so. Sometimes people will be loud outside at the hot tub / pool, and since nearly all units are adjacent to them, you can hear them pretty clearly. If it gets too bad you can call security, but it takes them a while to get there. Never really had any pest problems. Had a big roach one time but that's Arizona for ya- just hide some traps in the kitchen. They're close to quite a few stores and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. The lake is nice to run/walk around (~3 miles). The fitness center is very small so don't count on that if you're serious about your fitness needs but it works in a pinch. They're pretty strict on the lease so don't count on them to cut you a break but that's nothing out of the ordinary. Overall pretty solid if you have the change.

It's a great place and the location is even better!.. So many places to go shop and eat etc within 1 to 3 miles and the schools are also in that radius.

Now this takes the cake. Closing the pools for the winter in Arizona. These people are a joke. Don't rent here. You will regret it the minute you hand them your money. The grounds have been under construction since 2018 and these people don't care about the amenities. The workout room is only open when they are In the office and they are never in the office. And you need a special code for the machines and they never work
