Meh. Pinball machines obviously haven't been balanced since they were installed. They will sell you a drink and scream in your face for having one while they run your card. Also I guess they wash the dishes in the parking lot? See photo. I suggested coming here and feel like a bad friend. The DJ was good, but I like music from 2012 before the end of the Mayan calendar. Seriously can't believe the reviews, maybe they just haven't been anywhere else. 🤷‍♂️

This is a great place to get tipsy and have fun. It’s an Arcade and Bar! What more do you need? They also have certain days when girl and guys get free tokens. And let me not forget to mention their new area on the opposite side of the building. (Where Snoh used to be). Not as many games, but it’s less crowded and has an Anime theme.

Really fun if you're under 25. The music was good and the theme is cute, but it was more for a young young crowd. We went on a Saturday and it was really full. Like everyone pushing everyone. The bathroom had vomit and pee all over the place. A little more on the hood side.. maybe on a different night the experience is better.

I really enjoyed my visit. I stopped by on a Monday evening. I saw people of all ages enjoying the pinball and arcade games. They definitely have some classic games like pac man, tron, galaga, street fighter, Tetris etc I noticed some cool new school art on the walls. The bar tender made some great drinks. I would definitely re visit.

Got there early and walked right in, it will definitely be a wait if you go later. The guy doing check in said it was half off drinks next door at hi score so I got this luxurious drink called Kawaii for $5 🤯🤯🤯 10/10 would recommend

Fun place for date night! Be sure to bring ID and get plenty of tokens for the games. There isn't a lot of seating and the place gets crowded around 10:00 pm. Expect to wait in line if you come after that. Parking is almost non existent.

My friend and I went only for the arcade. I was very surprised that the games were in excellent condition and not just old run-downs. They have 3 of the latest pinball machines in top working order. Mixed in are older favorites like Centipede and Ms. Pacman. Very fun place. I'll be back.

I love taking my wife out for dates here. Great music, friendly bar service, reasonable prices at happy hour and we almost never pay for tokens. Wonderful selection of classic arcade games in good condition. Combine with Moira across the street for food and it is the perfect date night.

Great place! Wasn't too crowded so we got to enjoy it as much as we can. The staff were very accommodating. They had a decent selection of games for their customers. Great place for a generous price! Would definitely come back

Great hangout spot, very young crowd. no where near enough tables or places to hangout without feeling like your in someones way. Ordered a screwdriver and it came out tasting old, was a pain to get it replaced but after I did and got the bartenders attitude it tasted the same, meaning the OJ or ice was there for a good while, clearly there was something wrong with the taste as my friends and I never tasted it that nasty.

So I really enjoy the idea of barcades. Have some drinks play some games, all in all should be a good time. This was not one of those time in my opinion. The music was really loud as we entered. Not saying music is bad, but it's hard to talk and laugh with your friends or date if you can't hear them from less than 5 ft. When we played the games they do have some good classics, but the selection is still limited. Not to mention 3 of the games didn't work properly, which was a real bummer. Add to that the price of drinks and the night was a bust. I know this is a bar, and that some of the main revenue is alcohol, but when the rest of the night was bad, it just left a sour taste in my mouth with the whole experience. I've seen it done better, but still had some fun. Try to find another near you if you can, if not still can be a fun time. Just be sure to see what's working before you play it, and take breaks outside to get away from the noise.

This place was SO COOL! had tons of games from childhood that were so nostalgic! Only a few ate my tokens lol. $5 gets you a good amount of tokens here. I played for about 1.5 hours on the $5 and tried every game I wanted to. It does get very crowded so it’s nice to show up right when they open to ensure you get a chance play the games you want to. Also got a Modelo for $5. They played good music and have a nice misted outdoor patio area. There was also a food truck right outside too! Super cool concept & place. Can’t wait to come back!

Went early in the evening to pass some time, great selection of games, music, ambiance, and service. Some drinks and classic games was just what the group I was with needed. Good patio to take a breather on if there's a line for your next gaming session.

This place was packed on a Wednesday night. Diverse crowd and fun atmosphere - if you like arcade games and loud music. Drink prices were decent, and the service was good. Security was pretty tight. I'm guessing it can get rowdy. When I was there, the crowd was great. There were people from college to people who came after a convention.

A huge variety of classic arcade games and they all worked. It was a super empty night when we were there… or maybe we were too early? But either way, it was nice to play anything we wanted. Cool place

Cobra strikes at the nightlife just like a snake. Mixing the vibe of hype music & arcade games gives you a new infused experience. The drink specials keeps your pockets happy & keeps you in good spirits. I highly recommend getting there early though cause the line is out the door and packed within. Might be a burden to some but overall nice place in Downtown Phoenix check it out

I'm a kid again at the Cobra Arcade Bar. So much fun for nostalgia video games. These games are every bit the quarter (token) munchers they were as a kid but still a great time. The bar has an excellent selection of liquor and beers. The no crop dusting sign may be my favorite part about the place.

Cobra bar is awesome. Great place to hang out. Sadly since it seems that people really like to smoke pot around this area. I dont go as much do to sever allergic reactions. Bar tenders are awesome great place to play arcade games when they are not broken. Love this bar otherwise.

Pretty sweet place! Has some good arcade games and a few pinball machines. They serve beer and have weekly specials. I had a blast drinking beer and playing games like it was 1994! If you’re into beer and old arcade games look no further!

The drinks were good. But the place would be better if there was a designated area for people to dance if wanted. It was very crowded and because of that, a lot of the good games were blocked.

Fun if you like retro arcade games, music and alcohol. Not a huge selection of games but they are good ones. Once it's late it gets so packed you really can't play anyways everyone is drunk dancing. Fun as hell tho 😂.

Awesome place to chill. Great options for drinks, arcade games, dj and dance floor. Love the pinball machine. There were food trucks outside which was smart for the hungry crowd leaving. Bathrooms are small and need maintenance.

This is my go to bar! I enjoy the arcade, the food trucks was an unexpected yet excellent touch! If you don't like dancing or video games, they have TVs that play movies incase you're not in a dancing mood. Also, they rotate arcade games so things still feel fresh and interesting.

Bismol experience at this Cobra Arcade bar compared to others. This one is significantly lacking on the quality arcade games, small space and many of the machines will eat your coins. I am a huge fan of Cobra Arcade, this one did not live up to my experience I've had compared to several other locations. Wasted several coins trying to play, the coin eating machines should be marked or removed from service, pinball machines were disappointing compared to the other Cobra Arcades. I will not be going out of my way to visit this location in the future.

This place was nice. Had a good time with some coworkers. Wednesday night is ladies night so you get a good handful of coins when you order your drink. The games there are pretty standard arcade fair and fun. Except for the mortal combat game. Overly difficult and the buttons were not responsive. Beers at happy are very cheap but they don't serve food so eat before hand.

Arcade and a bar? I know there’s a lot of places that do it but this place does it right. The drinks aren’t overpriced and the gaming experience is amazing, give me street fighter and mortal kombat a Stella and a bourbon please and I’ll keep coming back. Best arcade bar or maybe even bar in all of Phoenix.

Very Chill place with a nice friendly crowd. Female bartender made my sister a specialty drink she created w/mango & Tajin....BTW that drink should be called June 15th. I'm at the carwash as they scrub the dried residue of June 15th off my door jamb lol. Thanks alot...our 1st time was awesome & my sister enjoyed her birthday. 💖

Visited during their Halloween party and they didn't charge a cover. Bouncers were nice! I get that they need to have a presence, but these guys actually smiled and gave a great first impression. We honestly were just going to bar hop, but instead just stayed here to drink and have a good time. First impressions I guess. All the machines worked well.

It wasn't crowded, which was nice. Service was a little slow, our server said she was the only one. Which is fine, that's not her fault. The big issue was no ketchup at all. There was no mention of that when we ordered. But a burger and fries with no ketchup isn't the greatest at all.

A date and I decided to check this place out on a Monday and ended up having suuuch a good time. It was Man Crush Monday so tokens for him (aka us) were free! There is nothing I would've changed about our visit here. This place really brought back so many childhood memories. Playing Super Mario, Ninja Turtles, Pac Man and Street Fighter while drinking a Four Peaks Kilt Lifter was literally perfection. The vibe was cool, the music was a blend of EDM and 80's. Enjoyed ourselves so much we even bought T-shirts! I'll definitely be returning on my next trip to Arizona.

Arrived at midnight on Saturday and waited 30+ minutes to get in which was whatever during the pandemic. My issue is the service and prices. We were seated and waited at least 15 minutes before someone stopped by for a drink order. Ordered 10 cocktails since it was late of the Kirby drink. Received about 2 shots worth of total liquid in a shot cup (total of 10 drinks..) for $10 each. Wasn't impressed overall. Would come back but just get rumplemint shots at $7.50 instead.

Majority of the games cost $0.25 per play, and all were working the night we stopped by. Games are older, which is fun for nostalgia, but don’t expect any modern graphics. There is a small shared parking lot, but plenty of metered parking in the area

Arrived with a friend at roughly 4pm on a Sunday (Halloween Eve), the bouncer at the front was grilling the IDs pretty hard, they have some okay outdoor seating, as soon as you walk in you're at a wrap-around bar with a DJ/dance area with games around it, some high bar seating booth/tables on the opposite side, a token machine, and some old arcade games in the back. They only had three pinball machines and The Mandalorian was the best out of the bunch, the arcade games were relic status/old bowling alley status, maybe to some that's what they're looking for. I'm looking for a mixture of new and old, these machines don't even look like they're kept in that great of shape which is sad and some of them the tokens don't work correctly all the time. I am not a fan of the $10 Sub Zero cocktail. It had these coconut shavings on the rim that didn't taste that great which also melted on your hand (which made a huge mess), served in a plastic cup, it tasted like watered down Gatorade. I would not recommend it.

  • 3/5 Omar A. 1 year ago on Google
This place seemed like a cool experience especially considering how many people were lined up outside. Once you got through the long line you had to fight your way just to get a drink much less play any games. If you are there to dance on a Saturday night this is a good place but the capacity is a major issue. Just don't have games if they are going to be in the way when people are dancing or move them to a back area. Overall a cool place but I would recommend going on a calm night if you're there to play games.

  • 5/5 Clayton De La P. 1 year ago on Google
Cheap arcade games $0.25/game, cheap drinks that aren't watered down but hard to get service as there are always few bartenders. If you don't get in before 10pm on the weekends then you'll probably be waiting in line forever. No cover charge, on weekends there's usually a DJ and there's a small dance with plenty of cute girls.

  • 5/5 Len M. 1 year ago on Google
Fun times. Doorman was cool even with the long line on Superbowl weekend. Tipped the bartenders 100 percent because they were awesome and attentive plus I was drunk. Good times! This is Lenny from Mills Modern Social in Tempe. See you again soon!

I rate this place a solid four stars. It would’ve been five if it was spacious enough for the “dance” floor. Im not big on dancing but being grinded up on while trying to play on the arcade machines was not the best. Overall drinks were on point and the line to get in was minimal. Outside they have a bussin birria truck i 100% recommend.

  • 4/5 Blane F. 7 months ago on Google
This was a cool place to play some old arcade games. A couple of the machines stole my tokens, but I just chalk that up to the retro arcade experience. Still got to play plenty of awesome games.

If you're native american it ain't worth your time. I was on my second beer and put my hair down (I have long hair ) and was kicked out by security for "being too drunk". I left politely but I was literally standing there talking to friends. I've been going here for years and I was never treated like this when I had short hair.
