The foods fantastic here. When you first walk into the bar it’s a little dark, but the patio is really nice in summer and everyone is so friendly. I recommend the oysters Rockefeller, they’re so tasty, we also had the calamari and the Cajun pasta with salmon. The seafood was cooked great and the pasta was tasty. Would definitely go back and recommend this place.

Food was pretty good, atmosphere was more like a college bar for wanna be something's. We had wanted to sit outside where we could visit and hear each other over the music but the manager sent to light the heater didn't know how. Our waiter was pretty slack and his vocabulary consisted mostly of, "like fer sure", "oh ya" and "hell yes". So, like fer sure, hell yes, I won't be back.

Food was delish, nice size portions and great atmosphere. Our party was sitting outside and were enjoying ourselves; however, just as we were done eating, someone started smoking a cigarette. That was a big turnoff, especially if we had still been eating.

Hands down, favorite patio dining in the Valley. Servers are always responsive even when it's super busy. Just don't be in a hurry. Sit back and relax and sip your beer while you take in the beautiful scenery. Enjoy the wait for the best oysters Rockefeller in the southwest. But I'm trying to figure out what happened to the brass plaque on Bob's stool at the bar.

Such a rad Irish pub... If you are looking for a warm, welcoming, eclectic, strange, and fun dive bar - you probably won't find anything better than Casey Moore's... We were looking for a fun place to grab a drink on New Year's Eve... and we stumbled upon this pub. We feel so lucky we did! Ian and Nick, the bartenders that evening, were so cool and made the energy and vibe inside the pub fantastic. This is like the mothership of Irish Dive Bars and I wouldn't change a thing. I just wish we lived in Tempe otherwise we would be here all the time. So glad to have counted down the final moments of 2023 at Casey's... We will be back!!

Fantastic service! The food was great. Perfect spot for dinner before enjoying a show at Gammage.

Favorite bar in Arizona! My go to place for chilling. Great food, good vibes and good drink prices. I am thrilled they’re open again! Only the outdoor seating arrangements are available! They also simplified their dining menu. Overall a chill place, I recommend this spot to anyone.

Great ambiance and history but they need to redo their kitchen. Overpriced and very bad quality. Go there for drink but eat somewhere else. Meat was thick, over cooked, no flavor, cheap hoagie and no horseradish. Au Jus was just cheap beef broth. 🙁 too much far left wokeness plastered everywhere but that is to be expected from someplace like ASU. Fire the chef, redo the menu. Then we’ll be back to drop $100 again!

This place has a great atmosphere, great vibe. We sat inside, the bartender was really chill, and our food was delicious. There is a large patio with a nice outdoor bar. This is a place I would be a regular at if I lived in the neighborhood, if that tells the story. We will definitely be back!

One of the most hip location. Doesn't feel like a restaurant from outside. It resembles like a old big place. Food and service is excellent. Keep it up. Tried their Signature Fish and Chips dish and was delighted. Tried their Clam Chowder and it was excellent.

Bloody Mary’s, Oysters, service, atmosphere were all phenomenal. What was less phenomenal, Was my date deliberately ruining my day buzz by creating false accusations towards me and revealing another fling…..what a drag! What he didn’t know, is I don’t put up with that trailer park play, and I sent him on a mini vision quest, where he quickly found love. Oh the beer was chilled to perfection here! If in the area check out this historical venue! Go Devils!

This place is a really cool spot to stop for a drink. Huge outdoor seating area! The menu is the furthest thing from Irish possible, but it seems to match the spot and the locale of Tempe. We didn't eat here but only because we had plans for dinner coming up. We just had a few cocktails, and I'll be back next time I'm in town. I know Casey Moore's will still be there!

We tried to get accommodations out on the patio for a large group - 10 people - but weren't allowed to pull two tables together. In spite of being told that was not allowed AT ALL we persevered, gathered a bunch of folding chairs and had a great time. The service was good, the food was good and the beers were good and cold.

I write this review only as a beer-drinker, as opposed to a diner. With that said, this place is really cool! i'm sure everyone outside appreciated the ample heaters during the unnatural chill we were experiencing during the time of my visit. They have a sweet happy hour, but don't fret: draught beer pints are only $6 as regularly priced! The affordable pricing and unassuming attitude of this establishment makes it a go-to spot for drinks and more. I will say that during this particular experience, I had ordered the Raj IPA (from 4 peaks). What I got was not the Raj, but rather a bit of a mix between the Raj and another Tangerine-y beer. The bartender confirmed that this was the case (and that I was not crazy), and gladly gave me another beer (Lagunitas IPA) to replace it. The error cost a star, but the kind response gave that star right back. Stay the same, Casey Moore's!

A beautiful hole in the wall bar not far from Mill. Fair prices. I have not been here in several years, but I used to frequent often when in college. It is not as noisy as the other bars and much better drinks. Parking is highly limited.

Surprisingly this place was really good. The oysters Rockefeller are super awesome! And so was their spinach avocado salad with 5 large shrimps! We were able to sit outside on the patio it was just lovely. Our waiter Derek, was fabulous and very attentive Even though they were super busy! Will definitely be coming back. It was my birthday too and I Was treated with fried ice cream boy was it good!

Most days, the drinks are great and the service is awesome (the chicken fingers are always worth it). Some other days however, the service can actually be very slow (even if the crowd is light).

ASU staple. Great patio and food. Been years since visited and just like going back in time. If I’m area it’s worth just stopping by for a beer. The food is always good and the beers are cold.

Nice staff, Dan the Man was very helpful. We ordered Escargot, Fried Clams, and Fish and Chips. VERY Delicious and my husband liked it too. My husband said it's the BEST Fish and Chips he's had in Arizona.

  • 5/5 Diane K. 1 year ago on Google
They opened at 4 and already had a line forming on a Wednesday afternoon! Our group loved the atmosphere here- the inside bar had a true Irish pub feeling and the outside area where we sat had a beer garden vibe! We all enjoyed our meal choices- although the oysters seemed to be popular- we had the traditional pub food. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic oysters, both raw and fried. Nice casual place to hang out with friends and get a beer and a bite. It's a little on the pricier side for seafood, but the quality has always been spot on. Service so far has been on point, and the fish n chips, crispy is super tasty!

  • 5/5 Sweird 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely fantastic, unique food. Atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I ordered the Poh-boy sandwich & was blown away! Their wings were crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside and their escargot was great! I highly recommend this joint!

  • 3/5 Yadiska 11 months ago on Google
This a great place to come for Oysters. They were fresh and tasted so good. They offer a selection of ways to have them cooked, I prefer raw and the raw was fresh and tasted so Good! I had the Escargot as well. It didn’t have much to it to make it stand out, even the sauce was alright. The garlic bread is fantastic though. For my main, I opted for the Reuben. I place this last on my satisfactory list of items I got from here, simply because the flavors and presentation was average compared to the other dishes. The drinks were average as well, nothing too special. The service was great, attentive servers and they are very polite. The atmosphere was cozy, it was surrounded by trees and outdoor benches, but there is plenty seating inside. I would recommend, if you’re looking for Oyster’s while in Tempe.

Pretty chill and affordable place for oyster! I’ve been here a few times and usually their oyster is in a good shape. But three stars because of the most recent experience I had. Some of oyster we received taste funny not sure what that is. But other foods were good as bar foods! Service was great, our server was very kind.

Discovered "Long Drink" a Finnish gin drink. Atmosphere was otherworldly. Oysters were fall off the shell soft. Oh and I should mention we sat outside by the fish pool...music was a bit too loud but feeding the fish and birds was fun. Heard after that upstairs is haunted so definitely will be dining indoors next visit!

Great place to hit up for an ice cold beer and shrimp. Had amazing dozen jumbo shrimp cocktail - perfect lunch! Good food, great vibe inside with good music - dark and chill.

Hard to remember what it was like 10 years ago because it feels completely different. The food is good and there are lots of options for dietary restrictions. Staff is a laid back but food is fast. My favorite part is how quickly they cut people off when they've had too much. The patio is great, but maybe avoid during the hot parts of the year. One of the few places that close to ASU with available and free parking. Everyone should go at least once while they are in the city.

I recently dined at Casey Moore's Oyster House and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and the warmth of the staff. The appetizers, mussels, and escargot were exceptional in taste, perfectly cooked, and seasoned to perfection, setting a high standard for the meal. The staff at Casey Moore's deserves a special mention for their friendliness and attentiveness. They made sure our experience was comfortable and enjoyable, contributing significantly to the pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant. For my main course, I chose the fish and chips, which were superb. The fish was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the chips were just the right kind of crunchy. However, I did feel the portion sizes were a bit on the smaller side. A little more would have been satisfying, especially given the quality of the food. Despite this, my overall experience at Casey Moore's Oyster House was fantastic. The high-quality seafood and the friendly staff definitely make it worth another visit. I'm looking forward to returning and trying more of their delightful offerings.

Had a nice time. Sat at the bar and watched the game. Not a good day for the Cardinals. 😔 The food was good. Nice vibe. Give it a try.

Was in ASU area for client related business, meeting up there. Late night. Light fare salmon, vegetables (zucchini and squash with broccoli), and wild rice at $14 cooked at 1:30 A.M. for me was delicious! A real value. My informal Super Natural exploring welcomed by accomodating staff. My photographs compliments of IAE, all rights reserved for Casey Moores and IAE.

I feel like its seriously overrated. I love the fact that its an old house that has been there forever and is well taken care of. But the food lacks flavor and aside from the oysters, its pretty typical bar food.

Came to know about this place from one of my coworkers. Had the fried oysters, very tasty and perfectly paired with Raspberry wheat ale. Their shrimps are also very good. Place gets crowded pretty fast, a good place for weekend dining, definitely recommend this place ?

The place itself is cozy and the atmosphere is always laid back and relax. There is an outdoor patio that wraps around the building, well decorated and has a pretty interesting history. I love the fish & chips but I have never ordered anything off their menu and I didn't enjoy.
