Was in Phoenix for MLB Spring Training. Me and my buddies were staying downtown and remembered this place from Diners, Drive Ins & Dives. It was about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There was a private party going on inside but the outdoor patio area was open. It was busy but not over crowded. My friends and I found a place to sit and enjoy our food and drinks. The bar had good beer selection and were running drink specials. I really enjoyed the mac & cheese bites appetizers we enjoyed a couple of orders. I got the brisket sliders which were tasty too. We went on 90s night I think. The music was a blast from the past and the rest of the crowd were younger, born in the 90s but they were having fun. We had a great meal and enjoyed the atmosphere, even though we were not the intended crowd. I'd like to go back and see the inside of the restaurant.

This is easily one of the coolest spots I’ve been to. It’s a huge indoor/outdoor area with ping pong, corn hole, a boxing ring, and so much more! We were there on a Sunday evening and it was pretty quiet, no huge crowd! We had the Mac and cheese bites and they did not disappoint! Would recommend... this is definitely one of those places you need to see!

This is quite a place and has evolved over the years. Corporate food and events have not change they've got more games and things to do. Food is not all that. It's Hard to get into right now with the construction and if you're not doing Valet parking, good luck. The main entrance just passed the stop light. Drinks were good. Definitely too loud and trying to hold too many events in one spot with different music groups does really work. Place is great but a curtain is not going to stop the sound from traveling through from one event to the other. They have Great bartenders and friendly staff.

In Phoenix for a work thing and we had the Deuce reserved for an event. The place is pretty big, there is a large outside area with games (ping pong and corn hole). There are multiple sections to the inside as well. We had a prepared menu of their more popular foods like brisket, beer can chicken and the potpie. All the food was really good, the atmosphere was retro and a lot of fun.

Got here around 6. One side was closed for a private party which is fine. There was no where to sit so we sat inside at the bar on the other side that wasn't closed. Ordered drinks then got kicked out of our seats for a "30min private group" 1. The chairs at the bar inside are anchored to the ground so you are an awkward distance from the bar top and the person you came with. The high top chairs are so narrow they cut in to your hips. 2. We ordered food and ate. When we were finished we waited an additional 30 mins to try to get the tab and finally went to where you order food and they literally lost our tab. 3. It was like a pre prom party. The bar area where we first started closed the garage door and turned in to a club and under age prom kids where let in through the back bar area. 4. The food is average. The mac and cheese muffins all stuck to the paper and had no real flavor and seemed undercooked. No sauce to dip them in like Marinara. The pulled pork slides come plain with no bbq sauce. The pot pie comes in two small mason jars making it impossible to take the leftover home so it's just wasted 5. The bathroom stall doors are like the double saloon doors but the lock goes straight down between them instead of across so it's a nightmare to try to lock it.

I can not say enough about this restaurant! Jake, at The Duce helped me book our team dinner for our volleyball girls. They had no problem booking 30+ people at the last minute. The atmosphere and food were fantastic and a great way to wrap up a National Volleyball tournament! HIGHLY recommend this place for their customer service, food, and incredible photo ops!

Second visit and will happily be back. Even on the coldest day this winter, the wind blocks on the patio make it comfortable. Mac n cheese bites were perfect balance of salty, cheesy, and umami. Biscuits and gravy jar was hearty, balanced with spice, and served with an extra buttered biscuit to help deliver the savory sausage gravy. My sister had the jar of chicken pot pie that was also deceivingly hearty with a perfect crust. Drinks were fresh and balanced. Love this place.

So we just landed at PHX and wanted to grab a bite. Saw this place on Triple D (Diners, Drive In`s and Dives. ) Amazing service and the food was better than that!. I had the brisket Sundae. It's a sundae glass filled with brisket, mashed potato and topped with other goodness. The vibe is cool for families to full parties. 5 star PLUS!!

This event was amazing and the first time I have ever been to The Duce. The event had an open bar, free food, and free Stiiizy products, which was amazing, but I think the location is already cool just on its own. Lots of decorations and stuff to look at. Lots of cool areas to explore and hang out at.

Love The Duce! I forgot how amazing this place is. It has been awhile. They revamped everything and it looks even better than before! I love all the little lights everything, it’s all very pretty. I love the serve your own water so you never have to wait and there’s no excuse to not stay hydrated!! It’s so hot in Az, it’d be so cool if every place had this option We had a quick bite after work and omgggg it’s all so delicious! It’s 100% “cheat-day” food, u know what I mean! It was absolutely delicious! We just got a couple of light bites. A little salad, Brisket Sliders, and hatch Mac n cheese muffins ! Soooo soooo good !!! We loved all of it! Everyone here is awesome, happy, and really sweet! We split the Pineapple Jalapeño margarita. It says it serves 2-3 and we weren’t looking to drink, just have something since we were there. We both really liked it. It was pretty tart and not much pineapple to it, but it was good! Not spicy The experience overall was awesome! Im excited to come back!

I wasn't as impressed by the Mac n cheese muffins as I expected , but otherwise we absolutely loved the place. The strawberry limeade drink was amazing, staff is super friendly, games are fun, too! We got multiple items and the kids seemed super happy with them! Thanks!

Amazing food and amazing drinks! Loved it here. It is in downtown Phoenix so expect to have to pay for parking. There is a public parking lot right across the street, it is a pay to park. The Duce does offer valet parking but space is limited so it's not guaranteed you'll be able to get valet.

The Duce is plan fun and a great locale for casual food and entertainment with family and friends. With cornhole, funky warehouse-like features, a gift shop, boxing and dancing -- it's like an up-graded Dave and Busters. And, you don't have to go to the suburbs, it's all downtown. The food is ok, some of it even really good. We liked the sliders most of all. The prices are reasonable and the beers and cocktails are outstanding -- try the tangy bloody mary pictured below.

Early Sunday lunch right before noon. Parked around the corner (and foolishly paid the meter on a Sunday..doh!) as valet was not available. The place was still fairly quiet but starting to get busy. We ordered the turkey hatch mac attack burgers/sliders and mason jar breakfast pot pie were freshly made, flavorful and delicious. The staff was friendly and the place was just like all the photos posted - like being at a really great outdoor BBQ party but with the comfort of being indoors.

Eclectic, fun, great ambience. Foods good and reasonable. Drinks seem high, but freshly are pressed fruit juice and well worth the price. Bartenders are amazing and must be sore after work! But the effort is part if the experience!

I had brought a friend from out of town to The Duce, as he had heard about it from social media. We were not disappointed with the food at all, as well as the atmos itself..! We saw there was a boxing/wrestling ring here! The food was good-sized portions and fresh, would definitely recommend..!

Very fun place to be, if you want a relaxed easy going place to hang out go for lunch. If you want to be where the crowd is go for dinner and drinks. This place has fun for EVERYONE.

Their service sucks! My party had a reservation for 4 pm. The valet parker was not there at 4 to park our cars. There was a wedding venue happening at the same time, which is not a problem but they were clearly not ready to service the wedding party or us! They were clearly not ready to open up at 4. They didn’t have our table reserved, but they put up other reservations on our table while we were sitting there. Their kiosk was down outside so we were told we had to order inside but were told we weren’t allowed inside the other bar area because of the wedding party. We went in anyway to order food and drinks and only 2 of us ordered because then that kiosk went down. There is so much more but it’s to much to type. The bottom line is it was very unorganized and not an enjoyable experience at all. If the wedding party was to much then they should not have made a reservation for us. There were only 6 of us.

I honestly had the weirdest experience at a restaurant/bar in my entire life here. The place seems like a fun environment with multiple spots to order food or dessert or drinks, and stuff to do like games, it's a huge open space that seems like it would be a great time... except the staff literally hid from me and my partner? We were there well before closing but it just felt like they were waiting for everyone to leave. Gave me the vibe we weren't welcome. Got an overpriced basic drink and won't be coming back. I'd rather give my money to a place that doesn't make customers feel alienated or like they're bothering the staff for showing up. The bartender was nice but there was literally no one else around to order from. So odd. Would have loved to try the food.

The art show was fantastic. The music on the side The art show was in my opinion in direct contrast to the band playing " some really good " Pop Sounds " Fleetwood etc. The free pancakes were a bust as the line blocked artists from exhibiting & buyers from purchasing. With that explained we had to park off of Central & Buchanan. Downloading the app & paying the $6.35 then walking over nasty dirty entrance to the parking lot. What made the experience worth the entire process was the artist and the art being exhibited. Finally, we made it to LaBella Pizzeria and Restaurant for a great " Frank Sinatra- Pizza & great tasting garlic knots. The $2.13 we paid for Coke products left a bad taste in our mouth. Thanks to all you guys at "The Duce" the employees made the overall experience great! 😊

The Duce is a unique and lively establishment. Its combination of a vintage marketplace, restaurant, and bar offers a one-of-a-kind experience. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is vibrant. For those seeking a fun and eclectic venue with good food and drinks, The Duce is a must-visit. Excited to return!

Had to host about 20 people and this place was the ideal spot. Plenty of room to mingle, places to sit, and lots of options for activities. Felt like we were welcomed as a group. The bartenders were very skilled and nice and efficient. Entrance is a bit hard to find with construction - it's in the back. Mac and cheese bites were great, and so were the cocktails

An amazing place to hang out after work for happy hour or weekend date nights. The sax player gave the atmosphere an extra boost as the crowd cheered him on. Great food. Lots of adult activities that bring back memories of your childhood.

The Duce is an awesome spot with an open layout and a captivating boxing ring at its center, often used for live entertainment. I attended their 80's & 70's theme night, and the music and vibes were fantastic. They offer indoor and outdoor bars, plenty of games like cornhole, and their strawberry and pomegranate margaritas are a delightful treat. I can't resist their turkey sliders – they're now a must-order for me. Just keep in mind that parking can be a challenge, but they do provide complimentary parking in the lot next to it. A must-visit for a fun night out!

We enjoyed every time we've eaten here prior to going to concerts at the Footprint and AZ Financial centers. I've only ordered the chicken pot pies as they're the boom. Greg has had the hatch mac and cheese muffins, pulled pork, coleslaw, and garlic mashed potatoes, and last the skillet Hatch green chili mac and cheese.

Valet parking is the easiest, which is free. They had some games there, something to do while waiting for the food. Great atmosphere, very retro. Creative food and drink menu. Order at the register, and they bring you the food. There's a separate bar. Brisket sundae was amazing! So much food even for the small size (16oz)! Great for a group of friends. Would come back again.

We had our NRPA conference social here and it was ridiculously crowded. In fact it was too many people congregating in one place making me uncomfortable to leave early. We came again last night (pictures shown) with less people so a little better. The food was average. Nothing special - just a glorified warehouse bar.

Such a unique and lively spot! The atmosphere is fantastic and the food, delish. What was really especially outstanding though, the cocktails. Best Bloody Mary and marg I’ve ever had (and I may be an expert in this area). The place itself sported such an array of nostalgic nods and various themes; it was just so cool. So many original antique pieces and suburb attention to detail. If you haven’t checked this place out, RUN DON’T WALK!

  • 5/5 Jazmin M. 3 years ago on Google
This spot is super cool. My mom hyped it up a bunch so I was going to be sad if it didn’t live up to the hype. But! I was not disappointed. There’s a huge selections of drinks to try. They had some great picks on tap. The food menu was a bit more limited than usual because of COVID-19 but what we ordered was great. We got the turkey burger sliders with eggs and some of the eggs sliders, bomb. We also had the bacon Mac and cheese bites as appetizers; would recommend. This spot has a super chill vibe. It will be nice to visit again when they have live music or a DJ. Can’t wait to be back!

They have a big space for games like Cornhole, ping pong and other things. It's easy to get a drink from their two bars in the front. They also have more of a club scene in the back. Bartenders were very friendly. Only downside is that they serve basic beer at craft rates.

What a cute little hipster eat in Phoenix. The food was good and so was the atmosphere. This is a place to go with friends. Some corn hole to be played and some good food to be enjoyed. Was there with a really large group, we rented 2/3 of the restaurant, and yet, everything was done with efficiency.

A very unique experience that should be checked out however the drinks are way too expensive, parking is tough and we held an event there...only to have two other events booked at the same time and it became too crowded to even move.

A long long walk from convention center—so take a Lyft— is this quirky place with mismatched picnic tables, ping pong table, corn hole games, and a boxing ring. Drinks and meals for our conference event were served in Mason jars. But—very tasty brisket sliders, tomato-bacon bruschetta, and shrimp cocktail. The berry mojito was delicious. Beer can chicken was good if you slathered on the spicy sauce.

If you are looking for ice cold hipster hooch and a slider offering to boggle your mind, you have made it to your Mecca. The Duce offers Hanm’s, PBR, Miller, Schlitz, Old Milwaukee, etc... The sliders are many and wonderful. And, anything with Mac n Cheese here is nice too. Now, couple all that with the one of a kind decor and ambiance, and you have a place that will leave a mark on your memory. Good drinks. Good food. Good ambiance. Good, quick and cute service. I’ll be back!

UPDATE: This place has the BEST food ever! You have to try it and they still make the cocktails to take home. Jus pour over a cup of Ice and your good to go when you get home. I know people love this place for the atmosphere but DO NOT sleep on the food because it is top notch. Help support small businesses! This place is a great find in Phoenix! Hubby found it while looking to see where we could have a drink and some good food. The place is an experience but the food, omg the food and drinks are beyond phenomenal! I wish I would have taken pictures but I was so busy having a good time I forgot. Try the drinks! Even if you don’t drink alcohol they have some great drinks. If you find yourself looking for a great place to hang out with your other half or friends head over to The Duce. It will not disappoint.
