Such a unique place. It's a beer taproom, lounge, and classy (dare I say?) convienence store all at the same location! The lounge is very comfortable and the regulars have always been friendly to me. If you're looking for a good hangout in mid-town Phoenix you're not going to find much better than King's!

Don’t waste your time or money - this place may have good selection but their people skills and customer service is THE WORST. Look them up on the internet and try to find a phone number - it doesn’t exist. Any business local without a phone number is shady. You can hope they respond via FB but that’s if the front desk clerk (who acts like a two year old throwing a tantrum) doesn’t intercept your message first and blatantly ignore it. I don’t usually write bad reviews- hope your experience is better.

This place is the by far the best for an assortment of craft beers and great varieties of wine and other drinks. They always have the goods! Won’t disappoint on what is on stock and on tap. Always super friendly and have great suggestions.

11/02022- I went tonight for snacks and some drinks with friends. It was great food and service as always. The homemade pop tart today was pumpkin churro and it was AMAZING. I highly recommend this place. It has a laid back vibe and good food and drinks, service is always amazing as well. Great selection of all kinds of alcoholic beverages available on tap. Great atmosphere, music is not too loud, don't have to yell over the music to have a conversation. Really enjoyed my time here. They also sell their unique beers to take home and enjoy.

Full selection of beers is the main attraction. 82 on tap and hundreds of choices in adjacent beer shop. Great servers, midtown location, lots of beer...What's not to like? Wish they'd serve bar food.

If you're a craft beer fan, you HAVE to check this place out. They have a store and a bar joined. 78 beers on tap in the bar!! The store has hundreds of breweries represented with an amazing line up of beers. Super knowledgeable staff can give the low down on any can you point at.

This place is dying. Since they changed ownership, the selection and deals have gone by the wayside. Used to stop in here all the time because you could get a flat of some decent craft beer for $10 or less. Now, they have very little to pick from, no bulk specials and the place seemed dead as can be on a Friday night. Not how I remember it a few years ago. Oh, and the new shirt art is TERRIBLE! Glad I got the rad OG shirt when I did ...

When you take somebody there for the first time, they are blown away. They're like "I can't believe I didn't know". They have a great selection that changes every day. But then you can go next and try what ever you want. Great business model.

This place has the best selection possibly in the state. The owner is the bug eyes guy who's extremely proud of being from New York and has the disposition to prove it. It's not a bad vibe, but it's certainly a no nonsense atmosphere. The bar on the other side of their shop is dark and comfy and you can get glasses of anything that they have on their growler fill station. They recently added in a reusable crowler filler which is badass. If you're looking for a great occasional deal or something hard to find, they're by far your best option.

Best craft beer bar in town. They don't sell food, but you can bring in whatever you want from outside. As a regular, the staff really get to know you and make you feel welcome. This is where I go to unwind after work or catch up with buddies.

They walked me through this experience and after telling them flavors I didnt want we would try little samplers from there i was on my way . Best beer selection in Phoenix.

We are visiting from Canada and went to Kings last night with 4 kids and 4 adults. We brought in take out and enjoyed the on tap beers and wine. There is pop and ice tea for the kids. What a fun welcoming atmosphere! The kids enjoyed playing with Mr.Pickles resident dog. We lucked in on trivia night and there were board games to keep the kids entertained. We highly recommend Kings for a family hangout experience while you try different beers!

Kings is by far the best beer store you'll find in Phoenix. The care and thoughtfulness the ownership puts into sourcing their stock is evident as you browse their shelves. I've seen beers here that I've only seen in their country of origin. I've seen beer enthusiasts shout with joy as they discover a long sought after hunt. I frequent Kings and every time I love it. This is your go-to beer spot! Just gotta stop by and give it a chance y'all.

Massive selection of craft beers, wines, meads and even soda... locally made and exclusive beers from other states fill the place. Half of the building is a store for all the drinks available and the other half is a bar to relax and have a sip. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about styles and really informative, been coming here a long time and love the place!

One of the best places around. From a variety perspective, there is a large selection in cans, bottles and taps. From a customer service perspective, the staff are always friendly and helpful with recommendations. From a convenient perspective, this is right on the light rail. So if you are in to get a flight to taste or hang with friends over your favorite beers or just to pick up beers to take home or bring to a party, you have all your options in one location. Would recommend.

This is one of the best craft beer experiences I’ve ever had! As someone visiting for business, and who likes craft beer, I highly recommend. I was instantly welcomed, the bartender let me know if the 60+ draft beer taps weren’t enough (they had amazing stuff on there), I could go find a bottle or can next door, bring it to her to open and enjoy it there for no additional cost! Wow! The drafts were amazing though, and the bartender gave great suggestions and talked about my beer interests. The suggestions were so good my co-workers who didn’t really like beer even enjoyed the beer she recommended to them! I asked about good local beers in cans to take back to the hotel, and I received amazing recommendations. This place earned every star I gave it. Next time in Phoenix I will make sure I come back here.

My work-neighborhood go-to for the bar AND the package shop. All varieties of beer from basic to bougie, staff is knowledgeable and fun, atmosphere (at least during after work hours) is low key. Also the owners wife makes "beerrings" earrings from the fun beer can art! Beer all the things.

Excellent beer destination. They had like 70 beers on tap and the store was fully stocked with beer to go. Right off the metro line too, so I didn't have to drive. The guy behind the bar was nice and knew his stuff too. He made several great recommendations. I'd definitely go back!

I love this place! Kings has a such a comfortable vibe to it, where you feel like family. Their beer selection is huge, but their bar tenders are knowledgeable if you need help finding something that you’ll love. Although they don’t serve food on the bar side, there are snacks available to purchase on the store side OR you can order food from any of the nearby eateries and eat bar side. Kings even holds Sip and Paints where the owner (an artist herself) joins in and teaches how to do the project. I just attended the ghost glass painting and it was a blast! The price is right and it’s more like a family/friend gathering than a formal class as you pass the shared supplies and get to know your fellow crafters. I’ll definitely be going back!

Super chill, Craft beer bar. There is a wide variety of drafts and the beer store next door is super diverse as well! The king's chair is well suited for a photo shoot as well.

This is my favorite spot for craft beer straight from the tap. They also have a little convenience store on the other side of the bar that has other beers and wines that are not available on tap. Excellent customer service and atmosphere. Highly recommended to all beer and wine drinkers.

Kings is perfect for an after work happy hour. Great music (good mix of old and new-ish), fun vibe, knowledgeable bartenders. You can bring food in, no kitchen. My tab for 3 delicious beers was $13. They have games (video games, card games, Jenga), comfy couches, such a good, chill time.

I go to King's every few months so I don't consider myself a regular but I've always enjoyed their massive variety and crowler station. Staff has always been friendly/welcoming, BUT my last experience there takes the cake FOR SURE! I walked in to pick up an order that I placed and paid for online. When I mentioned my name to the owner at the counter he said "I've been waiting for you to come in!" He informed me that I was accidentally charged too much for an order I picked up LAST SUMMER and he remembered my name and that I had a chandler address. He offered to rectify this by reversing my $13 transaction from that day and give me the difference of what I was over charged in store credit. He then helped me select some beers based on my preference. I couldn't believe he remembered that incident from almost 10 months prior AND sought me out to rectify the issue instead of me having to come in and mention it! I greatly appreciated the honesty and speaks for what type of business they run. They definitely can count on my business in the future!

Great selection of hard to find IPA’s and craft beers. Hidden speak-easy style bar serving up a large selection of rotating drafts on tap. Hard to believe I have driven past this place for years and never knew what was behind the unassuming glass doors in a strip plaza.

Giant selection of local area beers on the store side and always 80 beers on tap on the bar side. The taps rotate quite frequently and it's always fun to go and get a flight. The bar side has table top games and couch areas with Super Nintendo consoles. Strongly advise looking at their beer list on Untappd before you get there so you can know which numbers you want beforehand. It can be overwhelming trying to look at the beers on the screens.

Best spot around downtown PHX to grab beers to go. They have a great taproom now also. Best prices and selection around.

This place is a hidden gem! I mean, from the outside, it doesn't look like much more than just a simple convenience store, but when you open that door, you're in awe of the beer and wine bar sitting before you. They have a convenience store attached, but it's definitely worth sitting in the bar area, and enjoying a few cold beers from their extensive, yet unique, selection. I highly recommend the Mas Agave from Founders. The best part is, you'll be able to order a few beers, and be left with a pretty low bar tab! I do believe though, they serve predominantly AZ-brewed beers, which isn't a problem. They don't have a kitchen, but I heard they're fine with you bringing in food, and enjoying it with your drink.

Just an awesome beer selection. Love to order taster trays in the bar area, get crowlers, and make my own six packs. I like sours, IPAa, and stouts, and they constantly change up their offerings. They have a great variety of lighter beers too: lagers, pilsners, etc.

Great sampling, a huge collection of wine, great ambiance. This wine shop is a must-visit wine shop in town. The bottles of wine that I bought from here were really delicious. This wine shop is my go-to wine shop from now on. Also, you could grab a glass of wine here if you want to chill and relax. I can't wait to visit this shop again.

I've always loved Kings Beer & Wine. Their selection is admirable and product knowledge is high among their staff. That's what separates Kings Beer & Wine from the many retailers in the area.

Staff are condescending, rude, and belittling. Don't ask for wine, I got a speech about how all they care about is beer, how they don't know anything about wine, and i felt like they wanted me out of the store, probably because i was the only non-white person in there. idk.

If you like craft beers then this is a great spot. Huge selection available on tap and liquor store right next door so you can buy some of the beers you like. The lounge area is also really and has classic video games for you to play
