First time here and we got a different experience. Our son joined the Phoenix Firebirds rugby club this year and they have been sponsored by The Attic for many years now. When the club comes as a group they are seated downstairs in the sandwich shop and get a dedicated serving team. The sponsorship and special treatment had me sold already, but the food and drinks and service are what will keep me coming back. The GM was our server and the food and drinks came out so fast. He knows what he's doing and had quick great recommendations for beer, cider and food. I loved the POG cider, the brie and pancetta bruschetta and the prime rib sliders. Our club had a great time and it was a fun first visit

This place had an amazing vibe! The burger was really stinking good and worth every penny. They also had a few TV’s showing March madness which was tight. Would recommend if you’re in the area!

Not impressed. Very uncomfortable experience. From having to climb up 3 sets of stairs (see photos) to being sat at the bar with the beer taps in my face (bartender had to bend over and look through the bottom of these to greet me and take my order). Other guests at the bar aren’t friendly like other places. Music is incredibly loud and nightclub style. Very loud in general in there and dining area is not appealing. Food was not great either. Ivan Burger was overcooked (they didn’t ask how I wanted it cooked) and very dry served in an odd bowl if you don’t want the bun. Hard to cut with that bowl (see photo). Fries weren’t bad, most of them were also overcooked. Charged extra for a side of Ranch. There’s a nice upper level deck that would be great with cooler weather. That’s probably the best thing they have going. All in all not a pleasant experience. Definitely won’t be back. Definitely not for anyone who isn’t able to climb stairs (see photos). 3 sets of stairs.

We love a dog friendly patio! Inside or out this place is a vibe. We love doing brunch on the patio. The soft pretzel and mimosa flights are top notch.

Great spots bar in Arcadia. There is plenty of seating, and it is so nice to see outside. Pizza is excellent.

Hands down my favorite spot in the Valley! The food menu and drink options are absolutely superb. With different specials always changing throughout the week. The best Bloody Marys in town. And the staff is ALWAYS so welcoming. Being on the second story, you have the most fascinating views of Camelback Mountain. Highly recommend a sunset dinner on the patio for the perfect ambiance!

I want to give them a higher score but can't. The service is the big draw back here. I sat for just shy of 20 minutes without one server even saying hello. There were 4 running around. I could tell whose section I was in and she looked at me three times and ignored me, even when I obviously had no drink in front of me, and on multiple occasions turned her back on me when helping the people right next to me. Thankfully a server from another section noticed that I had been sitting without a drink and food for a while and took the time to get me taken care of. I'm grateful for this gentleman because I was ready to leave. With as many servers as they have, this shouldn't have happened. The food was decent, nothing crazy, but good. The beer is on the pricier side, especially when you can go down the street to a brewery and get some great local beer for the same if not less. I want to come back and give them another shot but I don't want to sit for another 20 minutes before getting served again. I'm torn.

Yummy , great burger ( smash burger) the burger pictured is the Hangover btw, very good fries, cool casual vibe , nice selection of brews (delicious coffee stout), tasty pretzel. loved it.

Reasonably priced, sports bar. We had the Bavarian Pub Platter, which was basically a sampler appetizer. It was delicious. The pretzel was an incredibly soft texture - different from any I've ever had! And the beer cheese was so tasty. Definitely recommend for a simple date night or quick drink with friends.

Cool place. Good view of Camelback. They had a room with 13 places and beers with name tags for each of the 13 military killed in Kabul

Had a hair in my food. It happens, but was having a hard time letting the waitress know because she was in a hurry to also tend bar. They have $7 well shots of tequila you can get at total wine for $15 a bottle and they probably pay less than that for theirs. Good food though. And the waitresses were friendly.

Attic Ale House has quickly become our favorite brunch spot in the area. Not only do they have a fantastic selection of beers, mimosas, and other drinks, but the brunch food is just as amazing. We love that there are weekly rotating specials, so you never know what might be available. The outdoor seating is great, and being on the second story, you have quite a nice view of Camelback Mountain. It’s definitely a great spot for good times and great food/drink.

This is a beautiful restaurant that looks very clean from the inside with a great beer selection, local and otherwise. The selling point is a lovely upstairs porch with a nice view out on the street with a mountainous background. My girlfriend and I came here for our 2nd time today. We had sort of slow service the first time but we were kind of in a rush and couldn’t stay to really enjoy anything but a drink and an appetizer, so we wanted to come give it another chance. When we arrived we were quickly seated outside with the view of the mountains just as we wanted. The inside was not very busy shockingly, there was a Sunday brunch going on. We were brought water about 5 minutes after sitting down and our menus were drenched from the misters within minutes. There was a great selection on the menus but we were not sure if the regular menu was available and wanted to ask. After about 15 minutes of no help or a chance to order we had finished the bottle of water they had given us. We were only asked if “that bald guy” had come out and talked to us. We eventually decided to leave. Despite the beautiful view we were looking at, despite the great smelling food inside, despite the great beer list, and despite the polite and helpful hostess. We are now at The Vig, still thirsty, even more hungry, and with a damper on a very beautiful Sunday that we have week looking forward to all week. I’m so sad.

Great outdoor patio on 2nd floor, overlooking camel back. Only did drinks, service was great. Pizza looked delicious.

about a month ago I came to this restaurant for a meal with friends. After receiving my $350 medical bill from my emergency room visit after having a bite (and I literally mean 1 bite) at your restaurant, I decided to write this. I had the Arcadia lemon chicken pizza which makes no mention in the menu about having pesto or tree nuts whereas other menu items do. The “head chef” originally told me there were no nuts in the pizza but after saying I was having an allergic Reaction to something he said maybe walnuts or pine nuts. I would hope the head chef would know for sure what’s in the food he’s making?? I tried to reach out via your website form but it wouldn’t let me submit. I am hoping this can be seen by someone who can make this right with me and also with your menu for the future.

We had a great meal as well as able to enjoy the outdoor dining on the balcony next to fireside. What a nice time we had.

Had a wonderful experience! Sat at the bar and got a cheese platter. The new bartender was very knowledgeable and personable and made my experience that much more pleasant. The music got weird at one point, but she was on top of it and brought it back up. They sell their branded glasses and I managed to snag a couple for my collection. Will definitely add to my list of places to return to!

My husband and I needed some lunch and ended up here. What a great decision! The beer selection is good, as far as beer I only like sour and gose, they had two options but also have a cocktail menu. But the food was fantastic! I got the prime rib sliders and truffle fries and my husband ordered the wings. The sliders we definitely the best food we've had anywhere in a long time! We sat on the patio which was nicely shaded and had misters all around. Great music and service to boot. We will absolutely be going back!

We had a great time. This place was packed and the music was on point. Onion ring tower was delicious.

The food was good, the drinks were great & the atmosphere was chill. The best part was that our boss paid for our happy hour event.

  • 3/5 Heidi B. 6 months ago on Google
I really want to love this place. I love the atmosphere. The beer was good although I’d love more German beer variety. I would strongly recommend getting rid of your Polish sausage as it had too much paprika. There is a good German butcher down the street from you and he makes his own sausages. You might want to look into that. What really did us in though was the fish tacos. We new taste a little bit off, and we’ve been having the squirts ever since.

This is my wife and I's favorite place to go if we don't know where to go. The rotating beers there are very diverse. We love to sit overlooking the road cause it's very peaceful to us. The food is amazing. Never had anything bad there. The pizzas were great, the chicken sandwich was amazing, the pretzel was awesome, the cocktails were exceptional as well. Overall, I will always be happy to come here.😎🍻

Historically, the Attic is a solid spot for burgers. Bar food, but better. Our last visit didn't deliver, though. We ordered what has always delivered in the past -- the Holmburger. And unfortunately it was meh. Usually the best burger in Phoenix metro area, looks like it has either slipped or it was an off night. We plan to re-try and update the review.

Amazing selection of beers, great pizza, and an amazing peanut butter shot. The pizza is perfect, crust not too thin, not too thick. Great toppings and just the right amount of cheese. There are so many choices for beer and good choices as well. This place would be amazing in the cooler months to sit out on the deck and enjoy you food and beer.

Fun place with great food and craft beer. Nice views off patio. It is a second floor business with TV's for sports etc.

  • 3/5 Steve F. 7 months ago on Google
The Attic Ale House has a good sports bar vibe. However the tables are crowded together and movement can be a bit difficult. As for the food, I can only speak to the pizza. The crust was rather tough and the pie itself was pretty average. I would not order it again. We had the margherita.

  • 5/5 Terry P. 2 years ago on Google
A great venue for food, drinks and fun. We had the famous 💉 Chicago shot, and some great beers among with fabulous food choices

I frequently visited The Attic during what I consider to be the Renaissance of Craft Beer ( 2010 through 2015). I was able to get my hands on hard to get beers and drink some of the finest from Hill Farmstead, Russian River, Alchemist, and Three Floyd's (to name a few). The food and beer was amazing back then and was still amazing on my recent visit 7 years later. The Attic is a place you take your out of town guests because it is now a Phoenix staple.

I’ve been to this restaurant many times over the years and they have excellent food/atmosphere. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. My boyfriend and his nephew are Native American and when we were getting our 80 dollar tab I went to the bathroom. When I returned the manage had dropped my boyfriends nephews phone on the ground rushing to clear our table. The manager was trying to rush us out and was extremely rude to us. Honestly I think there was some racism at play here. We were very polite to the server, had 2 drinks with our dinner and didn’t overstay a usual dinner time. I won’t be coming here again.

A huge part of my review is service. I understand establishments are busy and short staffed but this is not the case here. I observed several employees standing around chatting while we waited 15-20 mins before our order was taken. This was after flagging down another server to get our server over. We finished eating and again waiting awhile to get the server to come over to take our money. Food is good but the service was disappointing.

  • 4/5 Daniel W. 2 years ago on Google
Some of the food on here sounds pretty standard but then when they bring it out, you see there's always a really neat approach to it. One of the burgers perfectly balanced sweet, savory, and spicy. And the portions are big too! Go get surprised.

Tuesday Tuesday Tuesday!! BoGoFree Pizza Whattt!!! All day!!! OMG Yes. So this place thows down a mean cook to order burger, some tasty taps and a one of a kind view of Camelback Mountain. Parking is tricky during peak times, be patient or be clever IE Uber. They always run daily specials which are located on the bottom of the paper beer menu, its overlooked and sometimes not mentioned... -Enjoy

Super chill place. Great selection of local and nearby states Ale beers. A decent place to meet up with your friends or co workers. A mix of a rooftop bar and a five bar but with good beer.

Huge selection! There were so many choices for drinks. Wines, bottled and 30+ beers on tap, and MEAD! Huge selection of Superstition Mead! The staff was super knowledgeable and helped me pair a drink perfectly with my food.

This particular visit started out very poorly. We had 5 people and was told that we could not have a larger table that was available but huddle around a 4 top. Thankfully, the manager allowed us to sit at another larger table. Our server was great and we had a great evening.

  • 5/5 James J W. 4 years ago on Google
Service was on point. Food was great and they accommodated our little one and made a split pizza for us. View was nice. It was too cold for the patio but it would be great to sit out there

So I have been itching to go here for awhile and now can't wait to go back when's cooler so we can enjoy the awesome patio. We went on Father's Day for the special and were not disappointed. The food was exceptional and the beer selection was unique. Small place but with the room they have it's utilized very well and it is very unique inside. Very much recommend this place.

Amazing beers, and even better burgers. Love this place. Service is excellent but seating can be limited and this place is very popular. Excellent views from all tables of Camelback and Phoenix Mountain preserve. The Ivan burger is fantastic and the Churros Please Blonde pairs perfectly.

My lavender margarita was delicious (if you like the taste of Robitussin) the lavender margarita sounded refreshing, unique and honestly, I’ve never met a Margarita I didn’t like. (Until now). Someone messed up on the portions because this margarita tasted like an air freshener. I would recommend in the future to try adding a hint of lavender or a lavender essence to compliment a regular, classic Margarita recipe. The tall glass also has to go. It’s my pet peeve to have a margarita served in a tall tumbler. The Attic Ale house was a typical sports bar with the neon signs and UFC blaring in your face but nothing stood out to me as special. The location has major potential but I won’t be returning anytime soon.
