Perfect happy hour. Great atmosphere and I was pleased that they had a mask policy and all the staff wore masks. Obviously they can't make guests wear a mask but it made me feel comfortable that the staff was. The happy hour prices are terrific. Everything is VERY well marked on the menu regarding which items are included and unlike the review below, there was no gratuity added to our bill, though we gladly paid 20 percent for the terrific service we received. As locals, we will be back again and again.

We had an out of town guest and wanted to do something special so we selected the mix up. Atmosphere was as expected but the service was deplorable. We had to clean off our table as the waiter was nowhere in sight after finishing our food and first round, ordering a second drink was challenging and then when the bill arrived which was close to $200.00 for three there were items not included for happy hour which we felt the waiter should have informed us when ordering. Then to top it off the waiter inserted a 27 percent tip on the bill. As a local there are plenty of other places we would recommend.

My favorite escape in all of AZ! Royal Palms is absolutely beautiful day and night. The Mix Up always serves great drinks and food in an absolutely beautiful and intimate environment. Awesome place for solo, group, or business meet ups for locals and visitors. Don’t miss this special treasure!

The happy hour priced moscow mule was awesome. Super gingery. We used to spend a lot of time here with friends after work but had forgotten about it until recently. It's still the same cozy place - and they will also serve your group on the beautiful terrace outside by the water fountain. We'll be back.

I highly recommend using this bar for any bartending service! They have so many choices for you to enjoy, and the bartender was there to entertain all your questions and concerns. He is very responsive and attentive to his customers. I had a great experience!

The most delicious HH menu! Big plates, cheap price, wonderfully cooked ... quiet atmosphere so don't go there trying to be loud. It is more of a classy place great for dates and a nice time with friends. Beautiful surroundings and did I mentioned how good the food was. We ate it all before realizing we didn't take a picture. Had the hummus plate, skewers, mussels and a burger.... even the pickle that came with the burger was perfect!

Met friends for drinks, cocktails are exciting, service is impeccably perfect.

Can't beat the ambiance. Staff very sweet. A bit pricy, but so super gorgeous, it's worth it...if only for a drink if dinner more than you can spend

Nice enough place

I’d love to give this place 5 stars bc my cocktails were awesome. Italian Paloma was my favorite. However we had a huge problem with the wings we ordered. Flavor was awesome and the flats were okay, but the drumsticks were massively untrimmed. We had to bite through chewy layers of fat and skin before getting to the meat, and because some of them were so large & untrimmed, the meat in the middle was cold... I asked our server if this is how they were normally served and she said “oh I don’t know I’ve never looked that closely” and then she walked away and sent a bartender over to close us out...very disappointed considering we payed $20 for poorly prepared wings that were otherwise highly recommended to us.

Apart from the slow service, having to get up to order my own drinks and food, they charged us more than the price that was on the menu. Overall a less than average experience. The place is nice, just wish you didn’t have to beg for service.

Went to the Jazz Festival and the Mix Up Bar was right on the corner. Thankfully, they had great food better than what was inside the inside fence Festival, drinks were great, it was super busy, poor servers were doing their best to stay on top of things. Would go back in a heart beat!

This bar is truly a hidden gem, very small, very cozy with awesome drinks! The bar will literally give you a mixology lesson for 2! The Bar tenders Ernesto and Jonah were very engaging and want to have a convo. We met some great people and had some good laughs, we will definitely be back!

Great experience...however, if you come hungry, this is what happens to your perfectly cooked steak sandwich and remarkably salted fries. I almost ate the plate!

Went here for a quick bite at the bar for lunch.. The hamburger was good..they have a great ginger beer which they make there. Try it if you can. Ben is a great bartender.

Had to wait for a table at T Cooks. They had live music and the artist were great. The waiters were friendly and helped us with choosing drinks. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. Will dine/drink here again.

Cocktails were delicious. Hummus was freshly made but not flavorful. Property is lovely.

Had apps and a couple drinks.. Atmosphere was great, service great, food.. food gets a good, nothing special or wow!!!

Best cocktails in Phoenix! We tried the Lady of Spain, H. Upmann, and Mix Up Mule, all very delicious with great flavors. Katy and Alanis were great and attended all our needs!

Super cute place for drinks

The Mix Up is a BEAUTY-FULL, intimate bar that is so romantic. Perfect for a date or to hang out listening to the live music. My friends and I jammed to the soulful sounds pouring out Aaron Loveless who had the the whole bar singing along. The service was top-notch. I'll be definitely going back!
