Nice atmosphere, friendly staff nice hosting but the food is really not like what I expected. - I really liked the welcoming popcorn. - stake was cooked perfectly but it was really dry even when it was medium well cooked. 3/10 - sushi was not bad 6/10 - onion soup 4/10 - calamari (appetizer) was the best dish 9/10

I had high expectations, having visited this resturant from Tucson, AZ (made a 100mile trip just for this resturant). Arrived to the resturant at 5pm for early dinner and we were the only guests in the dining area of the resturant for the first hour of our meal. Staff was very slow with bringing out the food, and never asked how I wanted the filet to be cooked (I told them medium). After having an average lobster bisque, and subpar Old Fashioned, the main dish of teriyaki salmon and filet arrived. Sadly, the salmon was utterly burnt to a crisp (see photos), and the filet which was supposed to be cooked medium was so well done that I could not cut through it. The truffle mac and cheese was on par with Panera quality: not cheesy, with only two small sad slices of wet truffles on top. To make matters worse, the staff began to actively avoid our table after they noticed we were displeased by the food, painfully drawing out the experience for another hour until dessert arrived. As for the butter cake, it was horrendously sweet and practically inedible, and the fruit glaze was extremely artifical tasting. The best part of the meal was the super salty warm bread and interior design. After finishing the dinner at 6:20pm and walking around for about an hour to digest the meal, I returned to my hotel and was preparing to sleep around 10pm, but I felt so horribly full and nauseated by the early dinner I had hours earlier, that I could not fall alseep, and even when I did snooze a bit, I woke up at 2am (no I did not have any after dinner coffee or tea services). I would not recommend this restaurant, it is pretentious and heavily overpriced for low quality food. This menu should come with a side of medication.

I am visiting Scottsdale. I ate there the first two nights and enjoyed my experience. Friday night was busy when I arrived. I was told that I was second in line behind two ladies. After waiting about 15 minutes a guy walked in like he owned the place. He greeted the hostess and walked to the bar. I told the hostess that he just walked passed us and she said , “He is a regular and a friend of the manager.” I told her to go get the manager. She did. I asked the manager why the gentleman passed us. He first said that the guy is a regular. I told him I don’t care. He passed waiting customers. He then said the gentleman had a reservation. I laughed at his ridiculousness. Who makes a reservation to the bar? Grasping at straws, He said that three can’t be seated. I informed him that I was not with the other party. He said the guy had a reservation. Integrity. That’s a tough one, boss. You stooped low tonight.

The food was good. However we were in a party in a private room that came with a ton of hidden fees. We would have came out almost 100 bucks cheaper to just show up and eat. 1st fee was an admin fee for each guest, then each guest bill is split evenly per person, thirdly they tip themselves a generous 20% regardless of service. To make matters worse, we were not allowed to order from the full menu. We recieved an option of only 4 dishes to choose from at full price. The entire dining experience was not worth it.

Fantastic, perfectly prepared food! This week is restaurant week in Phoenix (ends May 29), so now is your chance to try this amazing restaurant!! $55 for a 3 course meal! I had a perfectly prepared Filet Mignon. Others in my party enjoyed the Scallops! The 5 layer Carrot Cake was amazing! Excellent service and food! We will be back!

Biggest shrimp I have ever eaten. Bread was fresh, soft, and warm. Sea scallops were the best I have ever tasted. My favorite seafood restaurant in Phoenix.

We have gone to this location throughout the years. Service is always good. The good (like the other Cameron Mitchel restaurants) is great. The server tonight was great. The appetizers and main dishes, as well as the desert, were all great. I recommend the scallops and steak. They do have gluten-free and vegetarian dishes. Ask for adjustments, and they make them. Black Orchid and the Berry Bubblss (and others) are great choices for beverages.

Hands down my favorite fine dining in Phoenix. There's a lounge area and also the dining area. Ocean Prime is great for all sorts of special occasions such as anniversaries, or even very special/romantic dates. They have a good selection of appetizers, and entrees. One of my favorite items is their sushi rolls. If anything you should at least get the lobster bisque. I've never had another lobster bisque that was on the same level as the one here. There is a vast selection of wine to pair with your meal available as well. The staff has always been top tier quality on all my visits. They're quick, courteous and very helpful with suggestions if asked.

Great, upscale eatery located in the privately owned High Street community. Good ambiance. The service was excellent. Food is legit. We made reservations online through OpenTable. I recommend choosing standard table or booth seating. We found the high tables and chairs were a bit less comfortable. Crab cake appetizer, wedge salad, sea scallops and risotto, brussel sprouts with balsamic glaze and a Russel's Old Fashioned. My wife had the house salad, blackened snapper, and a Sterling Merlot. Everything was delicious. Try the butter cake dessert! 4.5 stars, subtracting for the extremely wobbly table which almost made us spill our drinks.

Wonderful anniversary dinner. Rose petals on our table, complementary dessert, Jason our server and Jagger the general manager could not have been more attentive! Our meals were wonderful. The rest of the staff was polite and genuinely interested in us. It could not have gone better! Bravo!

Beautiful atmosphere and decor and even better food. Incredible service and recommendations. I started with the lobster bisque, which is prepared table side. Wow, tender pieces of crab and a bisque that is smooth, creamy, and packed with flavor. So delicious. I also was steered towards the Chilean Sea Bass, from my server at the bar. Go Ohio! Lol. The sea bass was insanely tender and flaky and cooked to perfection. I struggled with savoring every bite and eating it as fast as I could because it tasted THAT good. Definitely recommend for delicious seafood. You won’t be disappointed.

What an amazing dinner to celebrate birthday! I got a warm basket of bread and butter to start things off. My wife and I ordered one dozen oysters, a salad, crab cake, and lobster bisque soup to start things off. The West coast (best coast) oysters were amazing, ultra flavorful and honestly didn't need anything on them. The salad was one of the best I've had and I'm usually not a salad person, very unique presentation (see photo). Crab cake had a nice crispy outer layer, the cabbage that came with it had a nice tart taste that complimented the crab cake and sauce well. By the time we got to our main course, we were actually quite full 😂. That didn't stop me from finishing my seared scallops with buttery lobster and creamy potatoes! It wasn't on the menu, it was one of the specials positioned by our waiter. Fantastic choice! Oh, and we got the chocolate peanut butter pie for dessert to go. OMG that pie was amazing! The inside was more like ice cream and it was almost like a big Reese's peanut butter cup. So. Good. I will definitely be coming back here for more celebratory occasions. Absolutely delicious. I have been to the Beverly Hills location back home in Los Angeles so was expecting this one to be great while visiting town as well and was not let down. Service was awesome, prompt and friendly. The design on the inside is really well done and it’s at the very corner of a long row of restaurants and bars so it’s a great area to spend some time. For my starter I chose the Lobster Bisque and it was delicious. Perfect amount of lobster at the bottom and the taste was absolutely fantastic. For my entrée I chose the Sea Bass and ate every bit of it. It was a large portion and cooked well. I would happily order it again. Parking is extremely easy in the area and they also offer valet out front as well. I would recommend to any fan of seafood or anyone looking for a delicious dinner. I plan to be back.

We went for restaurant week and all of the food was spectacular. It is on the higher end as far as pricing but if you are looking for a delicious date night this place is a must try.

My friends LOVE this restaurant, so I HAD to try it! Beautiful restaurant with several sections to cater to the most distinctive dining styles and palates. Tender steaks, succulent Black Truffle Mac&cheese!, shareable sides, bountiful salads and delectable desserts make this place special.

Came here for restaurant week. Complementary bread and butter. Got the filet mignon. It came with mashed potatoes and green beans. Got the caesar salad, first course. Got the chocolate peanut butter pie for dessert. The chocolate peanut butter pie was good. The carrot cake tasted alittle dry and very sweet. We sat in the patio and it was kinda hot till we got used to the temperature. Reservation is required.

We came for our anniversary and it was well worth it! The food was delectable, the staff was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was so relaxing and sheek. A big thank you to our waiter Kenny, who was attentive and provided excellent recommendations.

Absolutely fantastic! The service was fantastic, food was so good. We had the lamb and a crab scallops special. We felt so welcome and never rushed! Best date night we have ever had!

Landon was super sweet. Our server (didn't catch his name) was also great! Very professional. It was my birthday and they gave us a large table and decorated it. It was really cute! The food, though, is the star! The asparagus and brussels were a bit disappointing, but the rest made up for that one small detail. We had a smoking seafood tower and were able to customize it. We got everything we wanted, and they made sure it was to our specifications.

Great ambience, excellent food and incredible service. The steak and lobster were outstanding. Dessert was good. I will definitely be back.

It's restaurant week! Just had dinner there and it was amazing! Scallops and short rib that melt in your mouth, salmon-fantastic! Shout out to our server FRANK, BEST SERVICE I HAVE HAD IN A WHILE!! Will definitely be back!

You can never go wrong @ this restaurant. It is my all time favorite. Don't forget to order their Old Fashioned if you like those. I sampled one, best I have had. In the bar area, they give you popcorn... WOW 😍

Dined here with the wife on a Sunday night. Nice selection of wines by the glass. The Chianti Classico was very good. I enjoyed the chop chop salad. Wife and I ordered sushi rolls and they were terrific. Service was top notch.

Thoroughly enjoyed our in bar high top dining experience. Very cool cocktail selection. Berried and Bubbles. Old Fashion with Angels Envy Rye. Yum. Wonderful atmosphere. Excellent appetizer choices. Well prepared. Tasty. Especially the cheese ravioli and Prime Roll. Big hit. Salads were hearty portions. Well dressed. Nice selection. Only one minor comment regarding the steak. New York cut. Just lacked flavor. Meat was tender enough to cut with a fork. But just didn't stand out like you'd expect from a prime cut of beef. Other than that, we enjoyed the experience immensely. Alexa was our server. She was fantastic. Cheerful, efficient, knowledgeable and made the overall experience so much better. We will be coming back.

They tried to charge me $150 for a porterhouse for one I complained to the manager and he took off half the cost. Also charge me $6 for two spoonfuls of sauteed onions. Food is really good here but prices are not

This was our second time at Ocean Prime (first time at Boston location). As expected, every single thing was absolutely superb!! We ordered the black orchid cocktail, blackened snapper, New York strip (medium), roasted garlic mashed, truffle mac and cheese, butter cake, and the chocolate peanut butter pie. Mason was so awesome! If you’re celebrating a loved one’s birthday and/or special occasion, I highly recommend!

From the moment you walk in to the time you leave the customer service is amazing. Our server was accommodating and knowledgeable. I got the chicken with loaded potato which gladly turned out fantastic. The chicken was not dry, very juicy and the potato wasn't dry, it was just right. You'll definitely be spending a good amount of money here. The only complaint was the rowdy table that had to much to drink and couldn't quiet down.

I cannot speak highly enough of Ocean Prime. It was my boyfriend and I’s first visit for our 2 year anniversary and everyone there (our Waiter, Frank, the hostesses, the busboy, and the Maitre D’) wished us a happy anniversary. Our table had rose petals on it (so cute!) and even our dessert said happy anniversary on it. And of course, the food was phenomenal. The Filet is amazing and the Jalapeño Au Gratin is the BEST side I think I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The Goat Cheese ravioli was great and is definitely a must try! My boyfriend loved the scallops and said for me to mention that they make a great Arnold Palmer haha. Everyone really went above and beyond to make us feel special and we had a wonderful time as a result. Wether you’re celebrating a special day or just in the mood for a classy white table cloth place, Ocean Prime is absolutely worth visiting. We will be back!!

Best Filet Mignon I've ever had. The drinks are fantastic and make sure to get there before happy hour ends.

Everything was excellent from the service to the food. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. My experience here was top notch. A little pricey but well worth it.

The inside is clean and orderly. The area we sat in was an open space which gives the impression of large dining room. There is a beautiful, smaller area with a fireplace, looks very elegant. When we arrived, our table was dressed with rose petals 🌹 (we were celebrating an anniversary) which was a caring and kind touch. The first person we met was a very friendly and kind man 🧑 who offered us a drink and bread. Then, our server introduced himself, he was friendly also. The food (lobster, steak, and crabcakes) was delicious! Very tasty 😋 We received complementary dessert 🍰, a very kind gesture. Overall, great experience 😁👍

We had NYE dinner here and it was a great decision. Everything was absolutely delicious. The seafood tower was so filling that I decided to get a salad for dinner. Excellent! Everyone had nothing but great things to say about the food and the service.

Awesome food and ambience!! Plenty of space for outdoor and indoor dining. All employees had masks on and guests were seated apart. Food was amazing, big portions, and the service was great. My favorites were the calamari, fish tacos, and ginger soy salmon. The drink menu is pretty extensive with a lot of options. First time experience was great, will be back again.

Ocean Prime is a cut above!. They have the bet Lobster Bisque, smooth and buttery with large chunks of Lobster to enjoy. Needless to say my steak was cooked to perfection and the Truffle butter sauce was exquisite. An extensive wine selection allowed us to pick the perfect bottle for the evening. Please do not leave without tasting the creme brulee. The staff was excellent as always and provided that polished class to make this dining experience truly memorable.

Crazy amazing--perfectly prepared filet and fries for a leisurely rainy day lunch. This place is fantastic. I highly recommend as every meal I've had here has been flavorful and perfectly prepared!!

Seafood and the feeling here is super good.

I got the soba salad to go, and the food was pretty good. Next time, I will take a picture of the soba salad. There's parking in the back, and street parking in case the small parking lot gets full. It's a cute little cafe, with friendly service. I will probably be a regular.

One of my fav locations for tasty seafood. Super appetizing. I will be bringing friends next time. It has a good feel to it. Reminds me of a cafe in Chicago I liked to visit.

The filet and salmon were delicious! The carrot cake and peanut butter pie were not that great though.
