My
spouse
and
I
had
a
terrible
experience
on
New
Years
Eve.
When
going
to
a
restaurant
like
The
Keg
with
the
prices
they
have
we
expect
good
service.
Once
seated
our
server
acknowledged
us
and
said
she
would
be
right
back.
She
did
not
return
for
10
minutes
at
which
point
we
ordered
drinks.
When
she
returned
with
our
drinks
we
ordered
salads
to
start.
The
Keg
usually
has
bread
on
the
table
pretty
instantly
but
that
night
did
not.
When
the
salads
arrived
we
asked
for
bread
and
our
server
said
she
had
put
the
order
in
and
walked
away.
We
finished
the
salads
and
bread
still
was
not
on
the
table.
Once
it
did
arrive,
it
did
taste
good
as
usual.
When
our
steaks
finally
arrived,
my
husband
had
ordered
the
bacon
wrapped
filet,
there
was
no
bacon
on
his
filet.
When
he
brought
it
to
her
attention
she
said
that
it
is
subjective
if
the
bacon
stays
on
the
steak.
My
steak
had
come
out
as
ordered.
The
server
did
bring
two
pieces
of
bacon
for
him.
Throughout
the
whole
evening
she
was
non
conversational
and
uninterested
in
our
table.
At
other
tables,
we
could
see
that
she
was
conversational
and
laughing
with
the
patrons.
We
requested
two
boxes
and
the
check
so
we
could
leave
ASAP.
At
that
point,
she
started
to
be
conversational
with
us
and
ask
us
what
our
plans
were
for
New
Years.
By
this
point,
we
did
not
want
to
converse.
We
both
have
worked
in
the
restaurant
industry
and
understand
when
servers
are
busy
they
can
be
stretched
thin.
This
was
not
the
case
since
she
could
stand
around
and
talk
to
other
tables.
My
husband
and
I
are
a
biracial
couple
that
were
surrounded
by
most
if
not
all
white
tables.
We
understand
this
when
dining
at
The
Keg
but
the
service
we
got
compared
to
the
other
tables
made
us
a
feel
a
certain
way.
Needless
to
say
we
will
not
be
returning
to
The
Keg
and
suggest
to
others
to
avoid
this
place!
Looking
back
we
wish
we
would
have
saved
that
$150
we
spent
to
go
to
a
restaurant
we
know
we
would
get
good
service
and
be
treated
with
respect.
