This place was GREAT for smaller kids; however, knowing what I know now,… there are only a few rides that can accommodate adults. PRO TIP: Get the Kids a wristband and the adults buy tickets for a couple rides - that would’ve saved us $100 for the 4 adults that only rode the train and spinning teacups. Most rides won’t/can’t accommodate adults, so even if you wanted to ride with the kids - you can’t! 👎🏼 Bring some quarters for the small rides. The face painting is really good and the kids loved it. Cost is $10. According to staff, Fridays and the slow day. We spent about two hours and did most things 2-3 times. Enjoy, but don’t over pay like we did…!

In the middle of Encanto Park us an island with a small amusement park with 11 different rides for kids. Each ride requires a $5.50 ticket or you can get an i Lili tee day pass for just over $26. We opted for the unlimited since we knew our six-year-old daughter would want to go on all the rides. Challenged by a staff member to go on all 11 rides, she did. Her favorites were the rock climbing wall and the roller coaster. The amusement park has plenty to staff, food stands, and clean restrooms.

Hidden gem tucked away in beautiful area within Phoenix in Encanto Park. It is surrounded by a golf course and park. This place is actually not bad for the price. Entry is free, but I do recommend the unlimited ride pass. It's the best value. Enchanted Island amusement park is something fun to do with kids 8 and younger. Their current operating hours and 9am - 1pm, and then 5pm - 9pm.

Fun little amusement park great for my younger kids of 6 and younger. There were some rides for bigger kids and adults. The Castle water game was fun. The staff was friendly and made the place even more exciting for the kids. Limited hours make it hard to enjoy everything, but it's perfect for the summer heat and storms Worthwhile to try the paddle boats while your there, fun time and good exercise. Careful with the weather, some rides may not be operating. Carousel and the train are the best especially for nostalgic times if you are a native.

Great little park for younger kids. After the age of 10 there's not much exciting here, but for younger kids there is a kiddie coaster, carousel, teacups, cars, bumper boats...the usual. A bonus is the train that drives around the whole park. Small food stand with snacks and fast food, and plenty of picnic benches all around including places to have a birthday party gathering. Some of the rides are a little aged and it's definitely a smaller park, but still a great location and perfect for little kids.

Been here several times always the same & a great time for the kids. They are now wanting a waiver signed for tickets purchase. Make you sure your child is tall enough to ride the rides & not to big they can't before buying. They have face painting cash only! Be prepared just in case. $5-$10 per kid

We attended the Easter Egg Hunt. This event was well organized! Congratulations to everyone who made this event possible. The amusement park was perfect for the littles. Very clean and everyone working and visiting was nice.

As others have said it's a little dated and rides are best for kids under 10. However my 3.5 and 1.5 year olds had a lot of fun. So we had fun watching it with them. There were only 2 rides a an adult could fit on comfortably the sit and spin thing and Big drop.I wouldn't buy a wrist band for any adults just a few tickets but the wrist band was worth it for the kids so they can ride the rides as much as you'll let them. Would definitely go back if we get the chance.

If you have little kids, this place is definitely worth checking out. Enchanted Island has been a part of Phoenix for a long, long time. It wasn't hard for us to see the charm in this park. In the summer, it might be better to go in the evening hours. Based on the time of year, there might be special attractions to look out for. 2 adults and 2 kids look to spend around $60 to $80 or a bit more to also take advantage of the paddle boats!

This place was amazing for kids under 7! We took our 2 kids and were impressed with the amount of rides & how quick the lines moved and they even got tickets to get eggs after each ride with surprises inside, not sure if they do that every time but it makes it worth it. The kids ended up with 10 eggs each, with coupons and toys inside. So next time we come back we have plenty of coupons from free food, to free wristbands! This place definitely has history and is family run which makes it even better they don't over price compared to other places. Next time we will rent a pedal boat! Even though it was hot there was lots of shade and seating and misters so that was a plus! Will be back in a couple weeks ☺️

Extremely green and well maintained place. The tickets cost is reasonable, for a single kid $20 will buy you a couple of hours of play time. If you plan to come frequently in the year, they have a cost effective yearly pass too. There is a pedal boat ride for $20 or something which can carry 3 people as far as i remember. The boat ride can take around 30 minutes... all in all a perfect weekend getaway

I have a 3 and 5 year old and they loved it. It is one of the few amusement parks I know of that has a decent amount of rides for ages that young. Some stuff looks like it could be refurbished or updated a little which is the only reason why it didn't get 5 stars but other than that it was great.

Very cute park for kids and kids' birthday parties. I loved the train ride around the park. It is not that big, buy worth the trip. There is no entrance fee. Just buy the tickets you want for rides. Love this! My grand baby of 18 mos enjoyed and so did we!

Enchanted Island is awesome. My 3 and 4 year old girls had a blast as so did I. Just to start off we left Enchanted Island not doing all that we wanted to do because there was so much to do. There is a park near by, natural scenery to enjoy and you are able to roam freely...even through the theme park. A bought ANNUAL PASSES for my 2 daughters and I which allow UNLIMITED RIDES ALL YEAR which is a huge bonus. It is under $60 a person for an annual pass. The other thing is, is that most the rides there my daughters who are 3 and 4 were able to ride them all and believe me when I say this...there are a lot of rides here for you and your kids. That is awesome. I have been many places and spent a lot money looking for a place where I could entertain my kids and not be limited to few rides that are suited for them. There is a mini roller coaster your kids can go on, a train ride, an airplane ride that goes in circles, a car ride , you can get arm and face paintings, they have something where your kids can spray water at each other from these huge water guns on turrets. I did'nt even break the ice with you yet. You can rent a four seater boat for $16 and go out on the lake and up and down stream. (I have not done that yet) The other thing is that works in my favor is that I work 60 hours a week and have no time during the week days to do this stuff, but it just so happens that this place is only open for some unknown reason... Saturday and Sunday. I am doing this review because being a father of two and getting kind of sick of spending so much to get so little is something I would like to help stop for many people out there.

Looks rundown but overall the employees were friendly and on top of things.. we were there for a birthday party and the kids had a blast getting to ride everything s much as they wanted. The party said it was done well as the host had rented a nice shaded spot under the misters for 2 hours and the staff served the pizza and cake cake in timely fashion. Each kid had their own wristband they could run around doing any ride at any time and each adult got a few extra tickets so we could all ride the train together and do the climbing wall

I love the Enchanted Island Amusement Park at Encanto Park in Phoenix. I have been visiting this park since I was a baby, had my 5th birthday here, brought my children and my whole daycare. Its a perfect place for the little ones and I think it is VERY affordable! Everyone in AZ should visit!

My wife and I decided to spend our Valentine's day with our Beautiful baby girl at Encanto park's Enchanted Island. I have to tell you it was SUPER FUN for all of us.. The funnest part of it for me was the Tea Cups!! Spun so fast I almost fell over at the end.. I would definitely recommend this place to any parent wanting to spend some quality time with the kids and looking to have some fun yourself....

Such a fun place for littles! Definitely max age for having fun here is probably about 10 years old. We went for a work party and our 8 month old was able to ride 2 rides- the carousel and the train. It was fun, but I'm glad I wasn't the one paying for it with my son only being able to ride 2 things. If you have a toddler or young elementary age kid, I imagine this place is amazing for them! My in laws watched my son for 15 minutes while my husband and I rode the paddle boats. Those we're fun but get ready to be sore if you have long legs! I was fine! Overall a fun hour or so for our family.

Beautiful park with lots of space and an excellent playground. Big areas for the kids or adults to play in. Paddle boat rentals are affordable to go out on the pond. Great experience for parties or to just get out. Pet friendly.

The amusement park is over priced has charm but mostly for smaller children. In order to feel like I got some of my money's worth my children repeated the same game and ride atleast 3-4 times... the best part is the train but I could not ride because I only paid for my children.... outside of the amusement park is how ever for free and very low priced a park, picnic area, pool, soccer field, fishing pond, basketball free if you have your own balls or $25... bring your own balls... it is a very nice park

This is a great place to escape and enjoy the family. There's always some type of enjoyable event going on here. The park is beautiful and the inner part is surronded by little lakes hence enchanted island. There's rides, boating, areas for bbqing, or just plain Ole relaxing. You can plan bday parties or company events here. This is a cool, fun and exciting place. The family always has a blast here.

This place is a go to for a good Easter Egg Hunt we have attended two years in a row! The egg hunt is well organized and my kid enjoys himself every time. You do have to register ahead for this egg hunt online but it’s very easy to do. They have hunts about every 10 mins or so. But do expect a lot of people to attend this day it’s one of their busiest by far! We have a yearly pass which we payed about $60 for . It’s good for 1 adult and 1 child! And they have a separate line for yearly pass owners so when you get your wristbands you don’t have to much of a wait! But the food is very good here. I enjoy the cheeseburger 🍔 And when you do the Egg hunt just know the eggs are filled with coupons for the park and little figurines for the kids! The only thing I was bummed out about was the line for the Easter rabbit. It was very long and I felt bad for whoever had to wear the costume because it was at least 95° that day. 🥵

It's okay for little kids, but not too little. Our 2 year old won't ride rides by himself and most won't allow an adult or older child to ride with. There's not near enough shade. Drinks are expensive and not even cool (warm water and gatorade). Food from concessions was pretty awful. Would NEVER spend money to go here but for a conpany picnic it's okay. Staff wad nice enough but rough looking. Pigeons are a serious issue from people feeding them...there are pigeon droppings everywhere and even piles at the tops of some rides. Food for the company lunch was absolutely delicious! Brisket was some of the best I've had. Face painting did a great job. Peddle boats were cool but many didn't have shade.

I’m between 4 and 5 stars on this but decided on 5 just because my 4 year old daughter loved it and it was such a perfect day (Black Friday). Weather was nice and it wasn’t very busy. I think we could have easily done an all day pass for my daughter and I could have got a couple of single rides and it would have been fine, but we ended up getting two all day passes. My daughter definitely got a ton of rides in, for her there’s no better thing than being able to ride again and again. Her favorite was the dragon rollercoaster thing, she probably rode it 7 times!

This place is such a fun hidden gem in the middle of the city. As an AZ native, I had no clue this existed until we were invited here for a company party. The rides were perfectly tailored for my kiddos, who are 8yrs,5yrs and 2 years old. We went on a Saturday in December, and there we were no lines. The surrounding Encanto neighborhood is really charming as well and worth a drive around after your visit.

It's such a fun outing for "the littles". Most of the rides are geared toward the smaller kids...and lots of fun for the adults to watch and to give their kids a fun time without breaking the bank. An all-day pass bracelet costs right around $25 but since admission to the park is free, and the rides don't require adults to ride alongside their kids (there are a few that do for the smallest kids, or that can be enhanced by adult help, so you can buy more limited passes for adults if you want to), it makes it a really affordable way to spend the day with a kiddo or two. So happy we discovered this place before our grandchildren are too big to enjoy it!

Its okay... children around 2-8 will enjoy themselves but sadly the surrounding park "Encanto" is full of homeless people. I lived across the street until my fiance passed away last mothers day. My late fiance was verbally assaulted and threatened by a homeless man. His language around our children was not something you should have to hear when simply walking by. Sorry she didn't have change.. Glad I didn't hear it. But I have seen homeless using it for alcohol use, drug use, and sleep. The park is nice other then that.

Perfect for kids between 3 and 8. Any younger or older than that and they can't do all the rides. They had some fun rides and my kids got to ride them over and over because there was no one there. Most of the staff were friendly. Some were less than thrilled.

this is a great park. my 2 year old loved it. it's just a bunch of rides for little kids, 30-54". great idea for a park, surprised there arent more like this, for that I give 10/10. takes about 2 hours to do everything, but the kids will probably want to ride everything twice or more so you might be here longer. fun!!!

My daughter loves coming here. We always take the full day pass and that is totally worth the price. She keeps running around and hops from one ride to another. Her favorite is the carousel and the Dragon ride. We even ride the train 2 times on our visit because it’s so damn nice. Will keep coming back for more until she grows out of it.

This is a great place for kids to go and have some fun rides we had a birthday party here and it was a pretty affordable place compared to most other options while there was a lot of fun rides to go on and the pizza was pretty good too. We were able to buy snow cones for everybody along with other snacks and we brought some food with us too. We ended up having over 30 people come in our group and everybody had a great time over half the people came for the very first time... During the summer I would highly suggest that you only go right before sunset and stay until they close.

I would give the park a 5 star rating, but the whole scan and sign the waiver process is very annoying and the staff taking money for admission , are honestly just tired having to explain it to everyone. My advice, scan the QR code have it ready before you get to the admissions window. Outside of that, they have cleaned up the park, its beautiful with many events going on. There were so many people but with the size of the park and everything you can find yourself doing , you don't feel on-top of each other. Whole family had a great time!

Awesome little amusement park. Had great weather and my kids enjoyed themselves. Probably more suited to kids 6 and under. We did like other reviewers and purchased passes for all 4 of us. In hindsight, would have only bought 2 wristbands for the kids as my husband and I did not need to accompany them on the rides (kids are both 6 yo and 46 inches). The train was our favorite as it took you around the park. Even saw some little hatched egg shells and baby ducks.

I brought my 10 year old daughter who has Praderwillisyndrome, a genetic disability, to Enchanted Island today just to look at the rides. I honestly didn't think she would be able to fit on any of the rides because of her size. I gave the park a 5 out of 5 stars because of how inclusive the rides were to meet her needs. Thank you from the deepest part of my mommy heart, for having rides that meet my daughter's needs!

Very disappointed the way we were treated my son was crying and screaming so we were told that he can not ride the ride so we were ok with it until another family had a screaming toddler and they let them continue the ride. Also the my son had wanted to go on the dragon ride and a member had told us it was close ,then another family had showed up and he opened it up for them felt like were treated unfairly would not ever go back to this place I understand the rules for kids but it was unjustified the way the staff treated my family and I.felt like my family were being judged by the color of our skin because our son wasn't supposed to ride the rides due to crying and screaming but another toddler did the exact same thing and nothing was told to them.

This place is a dream for small children ages 2/3-5/6 years old. Rides are appropriate and surrounding area is quaint. Recommend you bring your own snacks and drinks. Buying tickets is very pricey so check and see when they have bracelet deals. We lived in the neighborhood and bought discounted memberships; definitely worth it. Also, dog friendly, and made for a great afternoon and or evening out in the neighborhood.

It's insane to me that they legit try to charge $25 in an armband. You go to just any public park in Scottsdale and is covered. You go to Encanto and it directs sun right on top of you no shade anywhere. They seriously need to add a canopy cover and the place will be so much more enjoyable. It is not safe to be in the direct sun. A couple large canopies in the place of would be set

One of the drivers was texting and driving . I saw this unsafe act and decided to go around them. They then proceeded to hawk their horn and cut me off in a very dangerous manner. If these are the kind of people that are working around children and the public I'm appalled. My young daughter was in the car and we could have been hurt . Not to mention the 2 men in the car stared and laughed as they cut us off and drove away

Went here with my son for our weekly outing because he wanted to jump flips. He flips anywhere he can and since the trampoline parks are closed, we went to a park. This park is just a few blocks from the house. It wasn't too crowded. In fact, there weren't too many people there at all.

This was actually very cute and pretty much exactly what is advertised and what I expected. They have a few good kid rides and its not too costly. The snack stand makes good jumbo pretzels with that hot, melty cheese. Kids of all ages can find a ride or a few to go on. I enjoyed it with my one year old and she had fun running around.

This place is really cool for children. It was clean, spacious, and lots of nice toys. I brought my son in this wonderful and safe playroom to play and socialized and he has a great time. I was also very happy seeing my son enjoying playing. This is perfect for kids to explore real-world work in a fun learning environment. Highly recommended!

Place is nice in the manner that a lot of people are not here. Place is not nice that they required my wife and I both purchase wristbands so we could take our 1 year old on the three rides available, who we also had to pay for. Wouldn’t mind paying for my daughter and one adult wrist band to trade with my wife but they don’t allow that. Then staff isn’t even present at all rides so you have to wait not due to the lines but due to the fact that staff isn’t present, call buttons at rides don’t work rides are old and outdated. Bumper boats consisted of a staff member walking around pushing the boats. Would not recommend and regret paying. Would have left if I hadn’t paid.

The unlimited wristband is worth it if your kids like to go on and on and on... Parents do not buy a wristband i did and made it worth it but if your kids can get on alone then just a wristband for your kids will be fun. Its not that big but my kids had fun, we spent close to 2 hours. Will definitely come back again, friendly employees.

I've been visiting this park for 60 yrs and 3 generations. If you have younger children it's a fantastic place to take them. You can picnic at the park and do the rides. Great place for family gatherings especially bdays. I feel it's slightly overpriced but the park staff are awesome.

NOT for older than 5-6. I’m still giving 3 stars because it’s cute for tiny tiny kids. It’s pricy.. We brought our 4,6,8 and 9 year old kids. The 8 and 9 year olds were terribly bored and didn’t care for any rides. The 6 year old was mildly entertained. The 4 year old thought it was the best place in the world. It’s smalllllll. It has like 10 rides and they are all worse than a carnival. I feel like we wasted our money buying a wrist band for my husband and I. We only rode one ride because we had to to be with our little boy. Our kids are not tablet kids. They like adventure and are always out playing. We thought this would be a great day trip. It was for our youngest ones. I wish someone had written a review like this because I had no idea, so I hope this helps some parents! Start advertising this as for ages 1-6 and I’ll give 5 stars!

Took my 3 year old for her birthday here, pretty expensive for only under 10 rides available. After spending $55 on just 2 kids all day pass and 2 tickets for me and my husband for the train ride. We came specifically for the carousel ride, and even tho we spend so much money they still wanted me to get another ticket just so I can hold onto my daughter while she got on the horse. We were only here for an hour. Employees don't look happy working there, only one guy at the kids boats was really nice.

We went here 2 weeks ago and it was great and clean during holidays but went back again this Sunday and we came home with (Foot Hand Mouth virus) as the staff is no longer sanitizing the rides properly so beware of Covid outbreak as well as they get lazier.

I bought a year membership for my daughter. It's a great cost for unlimited rides. The park is clean and they disenfect the rides between every passenger. People are randomly walking around and also disinfecting park benches and such. I sat still for 15 minutes and saw a guy walking around and spraying the same benches twice, even if nobody used them. Kudos to their friendly staff.

We used to love this park, and it is still beautiful in every aspect except one that we discovered during this visit: they hired a new staff, probably, and the guys are non-friendly, We bought 3 All Day Passes at 5:30 pm, one and a half hour before they close. Spent over $70. And the workers wanted me to buy a ticket or another wristband to stand next to my 3 years old on carousel. Or they did not allow my 11 years old boy to enter the ride because he was barely 1/8 of inch over the height Mark. And its arguable thing- to me it looked like he was just on the mark, especially considering his soils on the sneakers. Very disappointed:-(

Took our 3 year old here he loved the train ride and the carousel with the cars. The rides could be updated but overall it was clean (they disinfected every ride after each use), staff was friendly and price wasn't bad.

I visited this playroom with my daughter as my friends recommend this place to me. As I went there, I observed that everything was so clean and organized. It's really the best place for my daughter. Everything that she sees inside the playroom was all safe. I really loved this place. Lots of fun! Highly recommended to my friends and neighbors. Thank you!

A nice option for families with kids if you're looking for child-friendly activities. One of the minor attractions here is the kid's area, which includes an interactive indoor playground and entertainment area for young children. Check out their page, which describes the various forms of children entertainment available.

Tons of rides for kids, I would say from ages 7 and younger. My daughter and her cousins had a blast! There were only maybe 3 rides I could ride with them, but I say it's worth the $25 for an all day pass and there's a splash pad for those hot summer days!

  • 5/5 Marco D. 7 months ago on Google
Enchanted Island amusement park is a blast with friends! The rides are thrilling, and the laughter is non-stop. It's the perfect place for a fun-filled day out.

  • 4/5 Meme M. 6 months ago on Google
The amusement park is very cute, but could use some improvements. The workers rarely smile or interact with their guest. The splash pad has so many rules, for instance you need to wear shoes in enter the splashpad. It would be nice if they got ride of the splash pad and kept the bumper boats all year long. Adults have to pay an extra $5.50+tax if there kid is under 42 inches to ride on the carousel and tea cups. $12 dollars for my 3 year old to ride the carousel is outrageous. The train on the other hand is worth every penny. They decorate for the holidays, and have some random festivals that are fun. I recommend checking the amusement park out, but definitely buy the season pass if you plan on going move then 3 times within the year.

It’s alright but when you measure your height I thought if you went over all of them you can ride all the rides but you can only ride 5. Other than that it’s pretty good

I had a blast at the amusement park! The rides were so much fun, especially the roller coaster. The food was tasty, and the games were a hoot. It was a great day out with lots of excitement and laughter.

We were there yesterday for a holiday event with Hyatt. And everything was perfect we had gone on the train 2 times and I had noticed the man sitting here on this slide never set rules or stated to make line other grown kids as my child were going in and out as they please. On the third occasion my child went in and I heard this man telling him inside the slide “ you get on it when I tell you not when you want” with a tone but that’s fine I didn’t say a word. Other kids where going in and my kid was standing in line so I told this man to be fair cause he’s just telling my child at this point. Well this man goes off and starts shouting that other kids are young he’s an older kid there is a box where kids should stand. This man then proceeded to say I was speaking Spanish with my mom about him so I asked him what I said. This man was going off. I have been to enchanted even bought the yr membership and never had experiences like this. This employee should be trained how to state rules/give directions first and then obviously if a child doesn’t follow directions that’s something else. But I had no idea what was going on some occasions kids were just going in and out as they pleased and others had to wait. Which I get it they are 4 yrs old yes they don’t understand but again it was other children around my kids age! And again I stood there quiet and he kept going until we left that area. We went to the sledding area. (We were given 15 min per area) and as we are leaving he’s talking about it loudly again. Like he wanted another confrontation. But again I just kept walking and ignored him. So disappointed this was my son’s favorite place and we had never experienced this in many yrs of visiting. My son doesn’t won’t to come here again. Which was a horrible experience especially on a holiday party! And many other guest knew my dad and went up to him afterwards to see if we were okay. Horrible experience!
