Large sprawling green park in the heart of Phoenix - a welcoming network of gentle walking paths, large areas of open grass to play, winding channels of water to fish and feed birds/ducks, and multiple walking bridges over the channels. There is a large playground for kids, an outhouse with public restrooms, and a building that sells some snacks as well as bird food and tickets for paddle boats. Probably the most memorable activity is feeding the birds - they are quite a bit more plentiful and aggressive than other parks, be prepared to be swarmed - the pigeons will land on your arms if you let them! Be weary feeding the birds around very small kids.

What a beautiful park! Palm trees, water, ducks, and open grass make this a gathering spot. There’s easy parking and lots of trails. There’s even an island with a kids amusement park on it.

The park is a great place to escape the concrete jungle. This is a great place to run or jog around anytime of the day and there is lakes flowing through the entire area. I would recommend this place for those who want a more nature like vibe near them.

Such a fun place to be on the weekend. Feels safe. Family oriented. I first visit on February 13th, 2021 the weather was windy and a little chilly. Bring a jacket or long sleeves layer. Check the weather before you head out. Looking for an inexpensive date night or a quality picnic time with loved one/s this would be the hot spot. Parking lot are plenty. Enjoy!

Wow! Such a beautiful park and great place to relax. It's like a hidden oasis in the centre of Phoenix. The palm trees, lakes and Island make it quite a special place of calm and beauty. When visiting or if you live locally then I can highly recommend.

This is actually my favorite park in Phoenix! It's gorgeous, has different little amenities like the park for your kids, multiple picnic areas, restrooms, and you can fish here too! Enchanted island is right over the bridge also.

Great place to go for picnic, skating, walking, running… basically anything outdoors. A lot of open space to enjoy an afternoon or an evening. There is a lake where you can rent pedal boats and navigate around. I don’t do golf but the golf course looks very nice.

Beautiful park and an excellent place for many family fun activities. Please make sure to pick up after yourselves when you visit however it didn't seem that there was much staff there to maintain park cleanliness.

This park is really pretty. Was visiting family from out of town and had time to stop here. The blue water... the bridges. All beautiful. Was sad seeing so much garbage in the water though. People really do suck. The bathrooms were also pretty dirty. Doors didn't latch shut. Grim and garbage piled up in there also. And maybe putting some texture down on pathways would be good as it was raining when I visited and the pathways were super slippery. May avoid future issues with a layer of sand/concrete mix.

I've heard of this park...but haven't visited until today and I've been here for 4 years. A cute little gem. It's a huge park next to a golf course. It's got a huge pond in the middle, and you can rent a boat and paddle around. Alot of people come here to host bbq. Parking is limited. But I believe you can street park.

Oh, where to even begin... Well, first of all, at noon on a holiday (President's Day) the west parking lot was full; on the contrary, the south parking lot had lots of parking, so that wasn't an issue. Secondly, we paid $25 per person for an all day pass (which we stayed for 5 hours) for unlimited access to rides. Thirdly, the Amusement Park was not overly busy, but busy enough for my two kiddos to socialize and play with a variety of other kids their age, and the wait lines were short and quick (if any). Furthermore, the place was fairly clean, but be aware of bees throughout the Park. Lastly, the staff was welcoming with a positive attitude -- much appreciated, ty. Overall, we had a wonderful first time experience here.

Wonderfully enchanting Park and the duck geese river is must see. Most especially when the waterfall fountains begin to flow Remind me of the magical parks developed in the ancient Italian Cities, when I was a child. And they also have a most magnificent miniature railroad system. For all children, young and old to enjoy. Highly recommended ?????

Huge rambling green park in the core of Phoenix - an inviting organization of delicate strolling ways, enormous areas of open grass to play, twisting channels of water to fish and take care of birds/ducks, and various strolling spans over the channels. There is a huge jungle gym for youngsters, a latrine with public bathrooms, and a structure that sells a few bites as well as bird food and tickets for paddle boats. Presumably the most noteworthy movement is taking care of the birds - they are a lot more copious and forceful than different parks, be ready to be amassed - the pigeons will arrive on your arms in the event that you let them! Be exhausted taking care of the birds around tiny children.

Had a lot of childhood memories here but if you want a true experience of nature don't come here. Go to a real lake with real nature. Arizona is too beautiful to be spending time at a manmade park like this. It's overrated. It's not enchanting, really.

Awesome spot for a break from the usual grind. While the amusement park has a limited number of rides, it's just right for a fun weekend afternoon with the kids. My son, a train enthusiast, had a blast riding the train multiple times—it was spot on!

A wonderful location for young families, with children to explore. We happen to pick the best day of the year: completely overcast, very cool temps, very easy parking (our vehicle was the only one, awesome), very few families / people were present (perfect), many photos were taken with no one in the background or photo bombing us. I took photos with my cell phone and they came out perfect, especially with lots of overcast. We were there for 2019 Thanksgiving Day. So pretty the park was with so very few people. Lots of ponds, birds trees, even pomegranates bushes too, sure enjoyed eating those as well, that was a treat. Fed the Pigeons some of the pomegranates, they loved it. Our three grandkids were really amazed at such a pretty place, but we picked one of the best times to go though.

Generally speaking this park is clean, well-maintained and safe for daytime leisure. The duck population is a and their sports fields are good for even very large groups. As with any metropolitan Park, the homeless population is only exceeded by the pigeon population. Occasionally the flood irrigation can cause a small too. I would not recommend going at night without a firearm.

Beautiful park in the heart of Phoenix with waterfalls, playgrounds, picnic areas, and a sports complex. If you're looking for some fresh air, make your way to Encanto Park! Oh, and there is also a small amusement park for the kiddos! The park covers a large area, so I recommend downloading the app, Avem. It'll help you find all Encanto Park amenities.

I liked it but the geese were chasing me and the bathroom were disgusting. I bet they rarely get cleaned. There was water all over the floor and I couldn't use the soap because there was a cage around it. I would give this a 2 and a half if I could. You guys should clean your bathrooms and feed the geese and birds.

This park is beautiful. First time being here. I didn't even know it existed until now. I'm so glad my love brought me here because I plan on coming back & riding the paddle boats & the kiddie train with her. Or else we'll be bringing the bikes over here to ride around. This reminds me of a park in San Antonio. We ate our Cheba Hut dinner on the park benches & picnic tables had a nice family day together.

Encanto Park is referred to as "The Park" all other parks are called by name of the park. The title of Encanto is misinterpreted to mean Enchanted it was taken from Greek latin and not Spanish translation. The Park was established in 1936 on land owned by the Norton family. Videos made there at night indicate the possibility that the park is haunted. The Encanto area is the wealthiest in the State, during WW II gold was rumored to have been melted down into bars and hidden somewhere in or near Encanto Park, it is further rumored the spirit of Mr. Norton goes through the park to check to make sure the gold bars are still safely hidden, only another urban myth.

Great place to walk the dog and watch the ducks. There are so many spots to get a great picture. Walking paths and bridges with big open grass fields. You can rent out sections of the park for parties. We see people fishing all the time, and if you have kids, Encanto Park has Enchanted island? (I could be wrong about the name) in the same parking lot. No entry fee. Just pay per ride. They also have a train ride and paddle boats.

Beautiful park! The weather was perfect too.. Was supposed to go to a flag football game and got lost with my husband, niece, and daughter, lol.. what a beautiful place to be lost at. I ended up missing the game and just taking pictures and walking around for a bit with them. There was a train and little boats you could take on the river that went through the park too. I wish I took more pictures.
