We
arrived
at
the
resort
for
my
brother's
wedding
(held
at
the
resort).
We
were
told
all
the
"wedding
party
block
rooms"
would
be
ready
by
11:00am
since
the
wedding
rehearsal
was
at
11:00am.
Only
one
out
of
five
were
ready.
We
were
repeatedly
told
they
would
put
a
"rush"
on
the
rooms
-
yet
they
were
still
not
ready
until
around
3:30pm.
Thankfully,
my
elderly
parents
(in
their
80's)
were
able
to
wait
in
our
room.
On
a
positive
note,
all
the
rooms
were
spacious
and
the
beds
comfortable.
On
a
negative
note
-
our
room
faced
the
Paradise
pool
area
and
we
were
forced
to
listen
to
screaming
kids/adults
during
the
afternoons/evenings.
Not
sure
if
the
resort
was
low
on
staff
or
not
but
every
restaurant
and
bar
we
went
to,
we
experienced
extremely
slow
service
and
we
all
felt
the
food
was
only
"okay"
given
the
"resort"
prices.
On
a
positive
note,
all
the
food
servers
were
very
nice.
All
of
the
above
could
be
forgiven
IF
the
resort
had
better
access
for
patrons
with
limited
mobility.
We
had
to
wait
15-20
minutes
each
time
we
needed
a
wheelchair
to
transport
my
elderly
parents
as
the
walk
from
the
lobby/restaurants
to
their
room
was
too
long
for
them.
Odd
to
me
that
security
controls
the
wheelchairs
and
would
not
allow
us
to
push
my
parents
-
only
security
personnel
were
allowed
(which
they
were
then
tipped
for...maybe
that's
why?).
I
even
asked
if
there
was
a
golf
cart
that
could
take
them
closer
to
their
room/building,
but
was
told
there
was
not.
I
would
have
gladly
paid
to
rent
a
wheelchair
during
our
stay
-
might
be
something
the
resort
should
consider.
The
night
of
the
wedding
-
the
dinner
was
held
in
the
Gold
Room.
The
food
was
delicious!!
However,
there
were
about
6
steps
people
needed
to
traverse
to
enter
the
room.
Thankfully,
my
parents
were
able
to
go
up
the
steps
with
minimal
assistance.
I
looked
for
another
entrance
or
a
ramp
-
but
could
not
find
one.
I
asked
two
servers
how
a
person
in
a
wheelchair
would
enter
the
room
and
neither
knew.
We
have
traveled
all
over
the
world
and
have
stayed
in
some
very
nice
resorts.
We
were
extremely
excited
to
be
staying
at
the
Arizona
Biltmore
and
looking
forward
to
excellent
service
and
delicious
food
-
unfortunately,
our
expectations
were
only
partially
met.
Additionally,
traveling
with
my
elderly
parents
has
given
me
a
new
perspective
on
"accessibility"
and
sadly,
the
Arizona
Biltmore
failed
miserably.
