This resort is advertised as very classy and upscale, but that is not the case. The resort itself was very run down, the gym had quite a bit of mold and water damage and the grounds seemed neglected. There was trash and gross things like socks (I saw 3 different socks while walking around the property) and for the price, everything should be better kept. We were anticipating a great water park, but when we asked the front desk lady where the waterside was, the lady was kind, but didn't seem to know where anything was. There was also a scorpion in our room that my mother stepped on (she was not stung thank goodness!) and it was very jarring. We did not expect to see such a poisonous thing in our room, much less to step on it!! It took maintenance about 20 minutes to come and collect it from our room, in which we were frantically trying to stop the scorpion from running and hiding someplace else. We made the best out of our stay, but I was honestly expecting MUCH better quality for such a high price. I don't think I will stay here again.

In general, I would not recommend choosing this hotel unless you're traveling with younger children. Firstly, the room amenities such as soaps, shampoos, and conditioners were not replenished during our stay. While the facility might have once exuded beauty, it's evident that the property has aged over time and has received minimal maintenance, diminishing its appeal. During our stay, we were also inconvenienced by significant construction work taking place on the premises. This led to continuous noise from workers throughout the day, detracting from the tranquility one would expect. Adding to the disappointment, the highly-regarded restaurant on the premises was fully booked for weeks in advance. Upon attempting to secure a reservation, I encountered front desk staff who seemed to have no knowledge or guidance on the reservation process. Furthermore, the poolside drinks came at a steep price, yet they were disappointingly weak in potency. A similar disappointment awaited us at the on-site diner, where the cost of breakfast far exceeded the quality. Our patience was tested as we waited ten minutes for an omelet chef to appear, and ultimately, the breakfast bill amounted to an unexpected $50 for two people. The only aspect that somewhat salvages this hotel experience is the availability of engaging and child-friendly pools. However, even this feature is marred by a significant bee issue, stemming from spilled drinks attracting insects near the pool's edge. Given the pricing of this establishment masquerading as a "resort," I strongly advise considering other options to get better value for your money.

I rated this with one star because we needed to climb three flights of stairs (that were insufficiently lit at night) to reach our room with heavy luggage. This information was not shared at check in with us, and there were obviously other rooms available at the resort. The facilities are very dated on the inside and outside. The room was clean inside. There are loud heating units; however, the temperature was comfortable and easily adjustable. The golf course was well kept and enjoyable for my husband. We watched an employee of the resort using a car alarm to locate his vehicle while the noise sounded off in the early morning. After being asked to turn it off, he offered a hand gesture and immediately turned it on again before stopping it for good. We heard an identical horn for 12 minutes in the middle of the night before but can't be certain it was the employee. All in all, we would not stay again but may come back for the adjacent golf course. I hope the hotel can communicate better with guests about the accessibility issues of the rooms and broken elevators so they understand what is required to reach them---or provide proper assistance in transporting luggage up the staircases to avoid injuries to guests.

This is a VERY spendy resort. We used points and dollars and it probably was around $500+/night. I'll mention a few of the issues... 1. Rooms need updating and had a musty smell 2. Pool areas were way too crowded with kids 3. We were assigned a less than expected room location 4. Parking is bad due to geography 5. No microwave 6. Internet was poor. We got a booster to fix the issue 7. Did not tell us about food credit Hilton has since made amends for the shortcomings. I appreciate their loyalty and consideration and plan to stay at other Hilton properties....not this one unless I was traveling with a sports team or for a work function. It IS a nice location with nice surrounding views

The pictures are great marketing, but they are old. I feel like I went to visit my great-grandmother in 1975. The room is visibly clean, but it does not FEEL clean. This property is dated. I felt as if I paid $300 to hang with the local junkies. The front desk erratically gave instruction that resulted in walking around the property with my luggage ( on the mountain that the property is on) for 30 minutes looking for my room. The lighting and signage are horrible. Asked a ground worker and was told to go right. There were 4 rights for me to choose!!!! Someone inside the lobby saw me lost and came to help. I did not feel comfortable climbing under the sheets and sleeping in bed. So I wrapped myself up in my travel throw and as soon as the sun came up I got as far away from this place as possible. I am a Hilton diamond member, but this hotel is not a good look.

Rooms are about what you'd expect for the price point. Friendly overworked staff, they appear to be short staffed just like everyone else and they're doing their best. Great pools, decent food, poolside delivery so that's cool. Fun relaxed atmosphere. It is just far enough away from everything to feel like you're on vacation away from home when you are still in the valley. Would recommend to anybody looking for a quick weekend getaway either for a couple or for a whole family!

We have stayed here for year, many new years eve parties.. This visit was a summer weekend. Husband paid to upgrade room. What a disappointment! Big black bugs, ants on the wall from something left on it! Hotel switched us, had a fairly good day at the pool, however. The next morning I woke up with 2 new types of bugs IN MY BED! Thought I felt things crawling! Did get a $75 credit...but I won't be back. Sad, we used to love this place.

While our beds were comfy and there is great hiking, the resort is quite dated. Not exceptionally clean, the shower heads are not efficient, and the rooms are laid out strangely with the end of the bed extending into the doorway to the bathroom area. “Mountain View” is not worth the additional cost. Definitely needs some work.

This resort was absolutely perfect for my kiddos and I. We visited on a Christmas vacation. The facility was great, the restaurants were delicious with outstanding service, the golf course was in tip top shape, and the pools and jet pool areas were very well maintained. Only thing that frustrated me was that the photos for the double queen suite that I thought I was getting were of an upgraded suite. It was deceiving and I definitely did not like this. If you are planning a stay make sure you are sure of the room you are getting!

The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and there are plenty of pools. It was also fairly clean. The shuttle service around the property was nice. There were also many downsides. We had no control over the a/c in our room, it was a bit warm for us. The wifi didn’t work. The hotel is fairly dated. We were hoping for a relaxing romantic trip but the place was packed. It doesn’t look as nice in person as it did in the pictures.

Great customer service! Great room service food, delivery and pricing! The rooms are nice and the view is astonishing. All the pools are nice and relaxing and there are so many activities to choose from. Highly recommend. The parking is a little tough if you are self parking. If you don't want the hassle, then I recommend the valet service.

We booked three days here, but stayed only about an hour before leaving. It looked nothing like the pictures and had lots of issues. As Diamond members we usually get a nice top floor room, but at 5pm, that room wasn’t ready so instead they gave us a basement level room that was very dark and next to a service parking lot. We were between two loud families and next to the family pool on the subterranean deck. The manager guy could have cared less about our issues. He told us we could leave with no payment so we did. Then two days later they charged us for the stay. We called and got it resolved, but we definitely won’t book that place again for our monthly business visit. There are lots of great Hilton resorts in Arizona, this was not one of them. We went to another Hilton property that was closer to our work with no frills, but looked like the pictures and had a quiet room.

I was a little worried about this hotel since so many of the reviews said it was old. However, despite it being a little dated, we had a great time here. Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. We did have to move rooms a couple times because the AC was either leaking or wouldn't work. The room we finally ended up in was great. It had everything we needed. This property is huge, but we didn't mind since we could get our steps in everyday. Breakfast was pretty good, we enjoyed the pools, my husband liked the workout center, and dinner at Pointe of View was spectacular.

I was here a couple of years ago and decided to come again for a staycation with my family. I gotta say, while I was too young to care about the reviews the first time around; I couldn’t help but check this time seeing as how I’m paying. I was a bit worried and even hesitant about booking after reading some of the reviews, but fortunately I had none of those issues. It seems to be a hit or miss due to the age of the hotel. In the morning I heard a couple next to me storm out of their room saying “they’ve had enough issues with their room already.” For the price, I think this place is well worth a visit. Some of the issues seem too small to care about unless you want something to fuss about. We wanted to stay a bit longer and the receptionist was extremely helpful and helped us extend our check out. The shuttles respond immediately. The food was delicious. The pools were clean and the food at the bar was served pretty quickly. I found none of the issues that others here have seemed to talk about. If you’re worried about a bad experience, I wouldn’t, because at the very least you’ll know the staff here will be more than willing to rectify the problem.

I actually enjoyed every day I spent. I came for a conference and felt overwhelmed by the hills and spread out buildings. The service was excellent. I was made to feel secure in knowing I could get help anytime, and if I needed a ride all I had to do was make a quick call for a cart ride. The dining was extraordinary. The Point Of View had excellent food, although limited gluten free fare. The views and fresh air were fantastic. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Finding parking within the hotel is difficult but not impossible, but the super narrow roads are definitely a little intimidating. The room itself was pretty disappointing. Broken window shades, shower curtain with blood on it, some sort of bug eggs in the bathroom. The roof leaked at around 9:30 PM, soaked the bed and the floor. Thankfully they had another open room and the guy who helped us move there was absolutely lovely, very kind. The second room was cleaner so that’s a plus. Got charged an extra fee that nobody explained would occur, when I called and asked about it I got told it was for free golf… we stayed there for a military event and didn’t golf. So I wish they would have told me that ahead of time, instead of randomly seeing a separate charge from the room and the initial deposit. It was fine for just staying the night due to the military event, but I don’t think I’d recommend it or stay again.

Hard to leave a negative review so I will stay neutral. I will start off by saying that our stay was totally fine-hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. We paid for a suite with mountain views and boy, the view was beautiful! We were in and out of the resort our entire 3 days so I can't even speak for the rest of the resort as we didn't visit. Only downsides--- We were given our room and upon opening the door we immediately called the front desk and asked for a different room because we were sent to a room that smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. As far as I knew I booked for non smoking room. Hotel staffed saved us the walk down and drove us up our new room keys for the next building over. This room was better however just know the rooms are very outdated. Pictures online vs in person were a let down-no elevators so we had to pull luggage upstairs. We found that we had to run the water in shower for a solid 5-7 mins before we got hot water. Lastly, the resort is in North Phoenix so if you plan to drive into Phoenix, Scottsdale or any of surrounding areas, plan at least a 45 minute drive. After a quick Google search we found that the resort was built in 1982. It's old. It needs some love, some renovation in the rooms. Otherwise our stay was fine.

I am not the biggest fan of campus style resorts. The rooms themselves however are very clean, spacious and feel very home like, which I do love. We are enjoying our pool side suite and there is so much to do during the day. My daughter loved "The Falls".

The resort was beautiful. The waterfall was right outside our room. The pools were open and heated. Crystal was very friendly. I also utilized the spa service there, and it was great. The only drawback was that one of our tvs was broken, so my girls didn't have a TV on their side. The channel selection was great.

This is my second time staying here. It's my family's go to for a staycation. Great experience both times. Great location, friendly staff. This is the first time we used room service. We ordered an amazing, delicious large brick oven pepperoni pizza for $22. Taxes, tips included, plus fast service.

Kids in Adult only pools, beware of ordering a everything pizza we did and it cost us $44! They charge $2 for everything on it, it was good but not that good!! Our air conditioning kept going out during the night. The next morning we told the front desk they really didn’t believe us. The reason being we didn’t call it in! The reason the first time, it was 2 am , it was 83 degrees in the room, we turned it dow to 60 degrees and waited a bit to see if it was working and it wasn’t , just getting ready to call it in and it kicked in, so we went back to bed. At 5:20 we woke up and it wasn’t working again 85 degrees, not sure how long it wasn’t working, but about 20 minutes later it started working again. We went to pool and then checked out! I’m sure for the money we paid , we can find a way nicer hotel , it is showing signs of neglect in its upkeep and desk clerks not at all helpful kind of demeaning!

My stay at the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort was absolutely fantastic! The staff was super friendly and made me feel at home. The room was clean and comfy, and the view from my balcony was breathtaking. I loved the pools – they were huge and perfect for relaxing. The food at the restaurants was delicious, and I couldn't get enough of it. The resort had everything I needed for a great vacation, and the location was great for exploring Phoenix. I can't wait to come back to the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort. It's a five-star gem!

We had a nice time at this resort. The rooms are a little dated and it's pretty obvious from the outlook that the hotel is quite old but we had no complaints. It's a great value for the price. The rooms are clean, the staff is super nice and helpful. There was ample parking and the views were amazing. They had a lot of activities they offered , the pools are all heated, even the ones in the water park but we didn't use it because it was raining. They have a very nice restaurant, mainly because of the views! I would come back again for a short trip.

Resort was being worked in. Very noisy, renovators were very loud and started work at 6:00 am. Accessibility to my car was blocked by stacks of mattresses coming out of floors above. Plumbing failed in the bathroom with overflowing drains. This happened on my birthday and I had lost half a day being able to spend time at my rented cabana. In room menu and dining used a QR code that allowed someone to access my credit card. It took multiple calls to get this taken off my account. The bed had a down comforter losing feathers, towel rack came off the wall when a towel was taken off of it. Tennis courts not operational and know one informed us of this. Too many other issues. Not a good place to stay in August into September.

First time staying here and loved it. The views were amazing having been tucked away a bit up in the mountains. The staff was great and super helpful with anything I needed. They offer a shuttle service to get around the resort, which was much needed in the 120° weather we experienced 🫠. The have a few different pools around the property, but I checked out the Falls area. It had a bar that served food & drinks, along with two pools and a volleyball net over one to play games with. It seems like a great place for a family vacation, with lots of activities for kids in and around the pool. My room was great as well. I had a balcony that had a gorgeous view, along with a separate on-suite from the main bedroom that turned out to be the perfect space to do a little work. The whole room and bathroom was updated and housekeeping came each day to freshen up the room. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in the area.

The resort & the grounds are dated it needs updating. We had the largest suite which was spacious but everything felt like I was back in the 90's. Other than that it's a Hilton & I'm a Diamond member so service is always top notch. I will say the concierge desk here was really good. The breakfast buffet was also amazing.

I really write bad reviews. This was my birthday weekend we rented a suite for $220 per night when we walked into the room the furniture was some thing from the Brady Bunch. The smell was so overwhelming like your grandmother’s house back in 1970. The television was live we were not able to stream anything so if we planned any activities or wanted to watch anything on television, we had to make sure that we went to the pool between a certain time so we could watch a certain movie. Yes they did have HBO live. This is a resort, it was so below par and I was so disappointed the furniture was like some thing from 1970. The TV signal kept freezing, and when we called the front desk to have someone come and look at it the very first night we were there they told us that they we were next in line to have someone come up and take a look at it, this is on Sunday, and as of Tuesday when we checked out, no one still arrived , there is no flavored creamer. Even Denny’s has flavored creamer. The food is below par for the price you pay completely unacceptable it’s like bar room food. The rooms are old, outdated, musty, stinky and I have told everyone I know about this experience.

Went for a girls trip/birthday party. We were able to access the pool early. Way before check in which was really nice. Definitely liked the drinks at the family pool better than the ones at the 21+. Sadly the water at the family pool was kinda murky so spent the day at the adult one instead. Rooms were big and spacious. 2 rooms were more than enough space for 14 adult women to get ready for a night on the town. Will definitely go again.

A hotel that is showing it’s age, especially the rooms and the stained carpet at the breakfast place, just to list a few. The hotel charges a $19 resort fee that provides no extra amenities, a $4 bell gratuity and a $4 maid gratuity. The room was missing coffee. The wifi is spotty and slow. I am a lifetime diamond member and was told no room upgrade was available but when I checked the app online, I could have easily upgraded but with a fee. Diamond member can be upgraded with no charge. The problem is that the front desk always denies you this citing the hotel is full, which is a lie most of the time. The breakfast credit is also a joke as they have more than double the price of it, so you always end up paying. The Hilton Honor program used to be the best, but has become a nickel and dime program where Diamond member are not honored as they should. A lifetime Diamond member has spent 1000 nights and a 10 year span as a Diamond level. They made a lot of money from me. The lack of recognition is very sad.

Stayed one night and enjoyed the pool for 2 days. Beautiful scenery, several different pools to choose from, bar and food available. Can order online right drop your deck chair. Rooms were nicely updated. Mattress was a bit hard but the room was quiet so still had a great sleep. Will return!

A great resort, with some of the most amazing views of the mountains. While rooms are little older, they are still clean and well maintained. I would note that it is a rather hilly area, so probably not the ideal option for someone with mobility issues. Lots of pools, relaxing atmosphere, and overall a positive experience. Just be prepared for the resort fees if booking through a third party.

I had a layover at the airport and the airlines had me stay the night here. I was super delighted by the friendly service, which I expect at a Hilton as a Gold Member. My room was up in the mountains and Richard was my driver. He was so friendly and welcoming. He explained the resort amenities and made sure I was happy with my room and the key worked. I would be upset if my key didn't work and I had to walk back to the front desk. It's things like making your guest feel like family that's appreciated. I was tired and wouldn't have wanted to walk back. Richard explained how I can get picked up in the morning and get a taxi back to the airport. I felt very comforted knowing I had nothing to worry about and slept well. Kristine at the front desk was helpful in explaining how breakfast worked and everyone made sure I got my taxi and back to the airport. Thank you again to Richard and Kristine for making my unexpected stay a welcoming and wonderful experience. I plan to come back to the resort on vacation due to the great service and beautiful layout of the hotel.

I stayed here last weekend, and was really disappointed with it. My room was pretty run down. The shower was broken, phone did not work at all, the screen door to the balcony was broken, there were patches and scuffs on all the walls. It was also a very strange layout, with a bathroom including a toilet and shower with just one light so you were in the dark in the shower, and a sink in the bedroom. I realize this was an accessible room, but having to switch rooms to wash hands was odd. I noted the state of the room twice to management, but they did not take action or ask how they could help— just said they noted it. I don’t often leave reviews, but this was such a disappointment that it really impacted my trip. I hope they can fix it up for the next person!

We had the BEST family vacation here!! The resort was gorgeous. I loved the cliffs setting and we had so much fun with all the pools and the variety they had. The staff was outstanding. They went above and beyond to meet our needs. Richard and Lexie especially were exceptional in customer service. I truly felt like they valued me as a customer and wanted me to feel spoiled and pampered. We were so sad to leave, because we had so much fun. We will definitely be back!

When we arrived and checked in the front desk staff was great. Braden was very helpful and kind. We had a great time by the pool. Being able to order poolside is the best! Unfortunately, one server was not very kind. When I asked if there was anything gluten free she said to me " I don't know. You know what you can eat." I have NEVER in 16 years of being gluten free, been told that! It was awful. She is the reason for the lower review. When I went to check out after our stay I was happy to see Braden again. He was SO kind. HE deserves 5+ stars. He was kind, professional, helpful and understanding. Thanks!

I love this place. I've stayed a couple times and each stay has been great. Yes, the dogs are dated, but honestly, it goes with the overall feel of the resort and being inside a mountain. Water was hot, rooms err clean, fridge is VERY cold, patio was spacious. If you like bigger towels at the pool, bring the one from the room...the pool towels are small, but not un- functional.

The team members are what makes this place great. From servers to housekeeping, everyone was friendly and worked hard to make guests feel comfortable. Very clean, nicely kept resort with beautiful mountian views. The Falls are very relaxing. Will definitely return!

This was a hard rating for me, as this place definitely was not an amazing experience (5 star) but also definitely wasn't a terrible experience (1 star). This means I need to decide where in between it falls. I might stay here again if an event brought me here, so probably better than two star, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, so probably not 4 star. I guess that puts it right in the middle as a mediocre 3. Room was not bad, although there was a slow drain in the tub. However when I reported it the maintenance staff that came were good and got it taken care of fairly quickly. Housekeeping never came during our stay, although this might have been because of pandemic protocol, so I won't dock them for it. Only one restaurant at the hotel and it was way way overpriced and the food wasn't good. I don't mind paying high end prices for a high end dining experience but this was like bad diner food for a Michelin star restaurant price. The pools were nice and kids enjoyed them. The overall property seems to be aging and the neighborhood immediately nearby isn't great. Staff was ok. Some were good (maintenance guy) and some not so good (one of front desk employees). One thing that really made me not happy was a bellhop gratuity added to my final bill when I never saw a bellhop or had the offer of help from one, which I would have liked. Anyway, I guess what I am saying is that if something brings you here you will likely find a clean and ok room, and mostly ok staff with terrible on premise dining. I wouldn't go out of my way to schedule this as a destination though.

Everything about the stay was very disappointing. The rooms desperately need cleaning/updating, there was mold in the tub. The pool was OK but that was about it. Our waiter (Mark) at the pool our first night was excellent. Our whole family commented on how nice and attentive he was. But other than that it was not a pleasant stay and not worth the money.

I needed a place to relax and regenerate and found it here oh my so nice and just right. The room that I got was great yes the place seems like it is from the early 2000’s or earlier but it fits the mountain side with the deep slopes is unique. I really enjoyed my stay here. A small but fun water park, golf course, sap and salon. Restaurant on the premises which you have to have a reservation or you could sit at the bar or tavern. Didn’t get a chance to eat there because I wanted to be at a table so that will be at another time. But overall this is a nice getaway. Would return with no problem and would recommend it to all. The place has some of the most incredible views that you will definitely enjoy.

The pool areas were amazing, especially The Falls. The grounds were beautiful and well cared for with lots of blooming flowers. We had a private cabana (fridge, fan, misters, TV, couch) that kept us pretty cool in 114° heat when out of the pool. The Falls pools were full service. The waitstaff were all great as were the drinks. Our room (1 king, 1bdrm) was a bit smaller than we expected, but it was clean and well kept and right across from the family pool.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this resort in March. Property has a lot to offer: multiple pools, gym, hiking, etc. Breakfast buffet had great selection and high quality food. Pool Cafe is just a regular bar food but it's enough. One of the best restaurants in Phoenix with amazing views is located right on premises - the Different point of view. Book reservation as soon as you can as it's a very popular place and booked 1-2 months ahead. Room was spacious and with the balcony. We reached out to concierge several times and service was always prompt and impeccable. We will gladly return.

The property is indeed built into a cliffside which gives it the feel of being more remote than it is. It is an older resort, you will notice that in the small details, however, it is looks great and has been very well-maintained. The landscaping was lovely and everything seemed to be in good working order during our stay, except for the "hot" tub, which was only lukewarm. We had 2 lunches poolside which were delicious. My husband played golf and enjoyed his round very much. All resort staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We were put up in the hotel by an airline after they canceled our flight. The hotel was clean and pools looked nice but the vibe and design were right out of the 1970’s. We would not pay to stay there BUT the staff was very friendly in the hotel and two restaurants we visited and pools and water park area were well maintained. Looked like a good place for families but not our style.

The Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort is… unusual. To stay here, it’s best to be a mountain goat. The property is very spread out and hilly so everywhere you go is either uphill or downhill. If you’re a hiker, this is your place. They have 3 pools: 1 small, 1 okay and their main pool which is very nice. The main pool is the primary reason to stay here. There are water features and a water slide that appeared to be unavailable unless you request its use. Bar and food service is available with mist seating. The rooms are quite dated and, in our case, too small for two queen beds. We literally had to turn sideways to get around one of the beds and into the hallway. I cut my toe on the frame of that bed. If you need a microwave, you must request it. It wasn’t standard in our room. My biggest complaint here is the commonplace practice of charging for things many places offer complimentary, if available. Our early check-in was $75. Our room was FAR away from more useful areas of the resort requiring driving rather than hiking uphill and down in 100+ degree temperatures. If we wanted our room more conveniently located, it would be an additional $50+ PER DAY! So, they offer a reasonable rate initially and up charge from there. Since we were there primarily for business, we didn’t want to charge the company for lots of upgrades. Overall, the experience here was pleasant. As long as you’re okay with plenty of optional charges and hiking everywhere, this is a decent place to stay.

I really liked this resort. It has its own golf course, pickle ball course, spa, water park and several pools throughout the property. The resort sits on 6 acres I believe and has 600 rooms. It has several different buildings to choose from for your stay. The views here are amazing. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. Everyone was just on a good vibe. I spent my birthday weekend here and have no regrets.

My 5th time over the past 8 years. I had a large, amazing suite! Clean, very comfortable bed, super clean bathroom with a tub. The view from my second floor balcony was breathtaking. Allan the Shuttle Driver was the best! My son and family came and enjoyed the Falls, girls loved the slide! Our food and drinks poolside were great. The little one had a sliver in her foot. Dustin and Joseph from security came, so kind and fun, took it out poolside. All the employees I met were friendly and accommodating. I hiked every morning and used the gym. Such a fabulous visit. Such beautiful surroundings. Be sure you book at the resort with Jill! You won’t be disappointed.

All the staff was so great! The rooms are old, and the resort is a little run down. Overall it was fine. There is a great little hike right across the street from the resort. It was too cold to go in the pools but they looked clean and nice! It's not super close to anything.

This was for a business trip. The conference rooms were quite a distance from the actual rooms. The rooms are open to the outside. Unless you stayed in the main building. They did have shuttle service along with golf carts that you could request rided. Especially for the rooms that are located going up the mountain. That is definitely a necessity because it is quite a walk. The rooms were okay. They needed to be updated. All of the pools and the facilities were very nice though. They did have very well marked hiking trails and other activities which was nice. The conference rooms were very nice. The conference area where they served breakfast out on the patio every morning was nice just because of the weather. The staff were always very willing to help and provide whatever is needed during your stay. I did have issues with the digital key not working on my door for whatever reason. I think it was just the lack of reception in the area. I did not have any specific complaints but their work co-workers that had issues with scorpions and other insects in their rooms.

First off, every person we encountered was very nice and tried to help. The young man at the check in desk was very helpful and understood our time constraints on getting us a room quickly. We arrived at the resort at approx 2:30 pm and needed to leave for a weeding at approx 3:30. He told us a room was not ready but he was very empathetic. The resort was at 97-98% capacity and they just did not have near enough staff to handle the load. Only 2 people working the check in desk while a line continued to get longer by the minute. It’s a very large property and when we returned from the wedding at midnight we requested shuttle service to our room which was on the hill. No carts or drivers were available. After approx 30 minutes we found someone and they said they were on their 13th hour and just understaffed. Finally, the shower did not work in our room. The lever you need to pull up to get the water out of the shower head was broken not allowing us to shower prior to our flight home. We notified the front desk via the text system and they said they would get it repaired however we did not have time to wait for the repairman as it was 10:15 and checkout was clearly at 11:00. We requested a late checkout but were told a later time would not be available. . The gal at the front desk was apologetic for the shower which we appreciated. Again, everyone was very nice but it just was not the best stay for us.

Rooms are pretty nice ... worth what you pay. The setup of the complex is very odd so finding your room isn't that easy and once you do the parking isn't great. The staff was great. From the front desk to the poolside service it was all good. We got a "poolside room" but was not really poolside. We were by the "presidential pool" which wasn't much bigger than a hot tub. We had a good time overall but not sure we would go again.

Beautiful resort with lots to see. I enjoyed my time there during a work conference. The falls area was great, the room service was good, and the access to hiking was a plus. The rooms could definitely use some updated - mine was clean but so worn that it seemed dingy. The rest of the amenities and the great staff offset that though. I would stay there again.

Had a wonderful work week at Tapatio Cliff Resort. Our room was in the main building great space and handicap accessible. The catering for our meals was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.The View for dinner was so good and the view was spectacular. I needed to use the UPS on the property and Angel was so helpful in solving my issues. She definitely went above and beyond to help me. The valet were so helpful ,as were all the staff. Only recommendation would be the elevators extremely slow and only 1 in the main building working.Would definitely return.

The good outweighs the bad here for sure. The only things that were negative about our experience were when we first tried to check in they said they couldn't find our reservation even though we had already paid. That was definitely concerning but it was sorted out and we did get our room in time for check in. The pools and surrounding areas were so nice and I really enjoyed the pool side drinks and such. I think for the price this place is amazing and I think its a great place to bring kids. But I will say I noticed the person who was serving the drinks at the pool was suffering from exhaustion and I can imagine why because it was super hot and they seemed really understaffed and unprepared for the volume of guests because it was insanely busy. The rooms were super comfortable and big and they felt clean. The parking situation was NOT ideal at all but I think they aren't used to being so busy. We got room service and for the quality of our food I think it was very over priced but such is life. The wifi didn't really work. Overall would stay here again and I recommend it if you're looking for a nice place to stay with really fun water amenities in a beautiful area!

I stayed here for a few nights as a little getaway. The check in was super easy and the individual at the front desk was delightful. The room was great and as always, nice to come back to a tidy room. Housekeeping staff were an absolute delight! Room service was delightful, though I wish there were more food options. I couldn't find on the room service menu where there were accommodations for vegan/vegetarian specifically, but I was able to make do. Overall, the stay was relaxing and quiet. The only complaint (which is not the fault of the property) was that there was a guest who had a dog that barked consistently for hours in the early morning. I highly doubt that it was a service animal but more of a pet that someone chose to bring as "emotional support" with the disregard for others; like I said, not the fault of the property. This is nice place to unwind and relax. The property is big and spread out so finding a quiet pool is fairly easy. The parking is a bit off, but I don't mind walking, personally.
