Never been more disappointed in a Crowne Plaza Hotel. I've been to others in the country as well. You expect because of the name for the integrity in appearance, cleanliness and amenities to be a step up. What's changed noticeably over the last 3 years include the loss of the valet service. They are a highly popular hotel to stay and park with this hotel. They offer a great shuttle service. Reserving in advance this trip a park in stay ahead of time; they did not have covered parking available.. at all.. this evening sitting in the small restaurant/bar area, it's filthy... really dirty. Tenth floor when you get off the elevator you are greeted with the smell of wet, moldy carpet with a huge dose of scented cleaner on top of it... it's sad to see management and owners are not taking care of this hotel

Overall cleanliness was great. The hotel rooms need serious updates. The bathroom counters might as well have been on the floor, since they are so low. Many outlets in my room did not work. The coffee pot and toilet paper are in very weird locations. The only good thing "location-wise" is that the hotel is very close to the airport. Everything else is sadly a hike away. Lastly, one of the women at the front desk was very rude to customers. An older couple asked a simple question about their room and this lady gave them attitude. This was definitely not the 5 star hotel I was expecting.

We parked in their parking structure while we were on vacay and stayed the night upon our return. They have free shuttle service to and from the airport. We lucked out and got a room upgrade. Our room was very nice, comfortable and quiet. We had breakfast there in the morning which was very good with good service. If you are traveling to/from Sky Harbor, a stay here is highly recommended.

Room 338 Convenient to airport and Air train leaves you right across the street and they have a free shuttle to the airport. Public train is also across the street which can take you downtown. Plenty of fast food places and a circle K right on the corner. The rooms are decent and clean and nice staff. Restaurant in the lobby as well with a decent menu Took a point off because of the location. It's a sketchy area after dark. Homeless people walking around as well as people that seem high on drugs and drunk. The hotel has security to keep the hotel safe and they do keep people who don't belong in the hotel out. I wouldn't venture out alone at night if you're not comfortable with the above types.

I rate it a three star, but my partner rates it a four star. It is definitely not an upscale place (I paid closely to $300 for a night). It was just a basic room, nothing fancy. I decided to eat at their restaurant but the food was basic for what they are asking for. They do not have free breakfast. Yeah, it is not worth the price and they are better hotels for the price. I hope corporate reads this. The ceiling on the first floor was leaking due to laundry room/pipes. I think it’s best if you guys put the laundry room on the first floor instead of the second floor so it doesn’t leak and cause more problems in the future. It looks like the hotel is renovating so hopefully they make it better.

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your place. This website will compare countless booking web sites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of the most well known in the area. I've been staying here for years. If you stay for a few days you definitely won't be let down. Clean, super close to the airport. Sky train entrance for the airport across the street. A lot of pilots stay here. Light rail stop also across the street. Staff and security super friendly. Though restaurant states it's open for lunch and dinner, it currently is not, therefore no room service. It does have a bar. We didn't have a chance to try the hot tub. Does have a 24 hour fitness room.

This hotel is perfect if you need to stay close to the airport due to layovers. I love that they provide free transportation to and from the airport. The rooms are fairly nice and beds are very comfortable. Breakfast service is nice and the bar there has decent food and is open until 10pm

We truly enjoyed our stay! The amenities are top notch especially the gym! The only thing I noticed was the bathroom tub was a little worn but other than that, everything was splendid! The staff was pleasant. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended by one night. Best hotel we've stayed in a long time and the best we've tried while visiting Arizona!!! Highly recommend!!!

I stayed here over the weekend as an IGH member. Check-in went well. The rooms are not bad, but the pillows were too firm, which caused back pain for my husband and I The bathroom lights were not as bright as other hotels we generally stay with. Also, we would leave in the morning and see the cleaning staff in the hallway and would return and our room was not cleaned. The staff would come by in the evening around 6-7pm which was really late. I mentioned it to the cleaning staff and she said she had 50 rooms and had started at 2pm 😳. They were nice and customer service was good, they also had a nice gym.

We did not receive a breakfast voucher. Which was included in the price of the room. The coffee dispensar was left empty. The breakfast area was not staffed. We left because it was apparent other than a guy staring at a computer nothing else was going to happen. Whoever is managing this place isn't. Otherwise these details would be caught by them. So I rest my case.

Location is great. Just 5 mins from Airport. Confusion with shuttle as we have to call in and request and it’s not on the hour or every 30 mins. Waited and called the hotel to learn this. No drinking water available in the room or for purchase.

Sharing this only because someone needs to have a talk with their receptionist. After a long day of driving for 5+ hrs to get to the hotel and never having been to the Phoenix airport before, the receptionist at check in was rude to my mother. We inquired about the shuttle and the receptionist responded “it comes every 30 mins starting at the hour” My mother then asked how long it takes to reach the terminals - completely ignoring her, the receptionist responded “it comes every 30 mins”. Thank you for repeating yourself - we heard you and that wasn’t what was asked. Not in the mood to deal with her I just said “I’ll figure it out”. She then told us that we had a complimentary breakfast the next morning. I also asked about the parking. The next morning I go down for breakfast. As I was going through the table to see what was offered, a sweet lady asked to see my voucher. There was also another man who just decided to stand across from me and watch my every move as though I’m not a grown adult who doesn’t need supervision. Completely unnecessary. Anyway, I didn’t know I needed one and told her no one told me about a voucher. She calls front desk, while the other man sternly watches my every move, and then returns to tell me I don’t have complimentary breakfast and that I’d have to pay $30. I put my plate down, apologized for the error and left as the stern man continued to watch my every move (like what do you think I’m going to do?? I have something called class and don’t need to beg or steal food). I then walk to the front desk and tell them what happened. The lady (a different receptionist) was about to give me a voucher but I declined because why would I go back to the place I was just publicly embarrassed at? To continue being stared at by the annoying man who has nothing better to do with his time?? (The breakfast was the standard eggs, bacon and sausage, and cereal— overpriced at $30 in my opinion and not worth it if it’s not complimentary.) My main issue with this situation isn’t that I didn’t get breakfast, it’s that I was told one thing and then told another. And then I had my own personal watchdog expecting me to steal breakfast like I’m some low-lifer. I then asked about the price for the parking, she said $10, it was actually $12, which added to my annoyance. It’s just $2 but in the height of my aggravation, it made me roll my eyes. There needs to be some sort of training so that everyone who works here has the same information. It’s simple. I’ve worked for hotels in my early 20s, it’s really easy to send out team notices and keep everyone up to date.

Okay enough. We got stuck at the airport for a night and needed somewhere close to stay. This place fit the bill and was adequate. It felt a bit over-priced especially when the breakfast wasn’t included and was expensive. We were just glad to have a room.

The room was decent. Morning receptionist was rude and seemed irritated when I asked about shuttle and breakfast. She was not helpful and just told me the time of the shuttle and pointed to the breakfast area. Went to breakfast, only to find out that we needed some kind of voucher, which was not mentioned in the digital check in or check out. I was also told by the gentleman at the restaurant that I was supposed to get a voucher before checking out. Luckily the restaurant gentleman was helpful and able to get our breakfast approved. We walked toward the shuttle 5 minutes before scheduled time, only to see it leaving before we could get to it. Had the receptionist told us to be there early, we would have. Would be helpful if all this information was provided in the email confirmation and digital checkin/out. I strongly suggest management address the issue of rude reception. I see another reviewer mentioning the same issue.

Stayed here only because had a very late flight into phoenix and did not want to drive to my final destination that late. It is convenient to the airport, which was its only plus. No water in the carafe in the lobby (at check in nor the next morning) and none even for purchase. Room was cramped and dated (again only one night so no biggie). The AC unit was loud and kept me awake after a very long day of traveling (and a time change). Everything said breakfast was until 11:00 a.m., but I arrived at the restaurant at 10:42 and was told they were closed (there was still a table seated). When I said that the website said 11:00, I was reluctantly let in and the hostess was clearly annoyed (even asking the waitress a few minutes later if I had ordered yet). Food was AWFUL. Cold, soggy avacado toast and potatoes. Oh - and somewhere on the website the restaurant is described as “swanky” with a view of the beautiful pool area. The pool area is basically a cement slab with some chairs around it. Granted, it’s an airport hotel so not expecting much, but service was poor and the website is super misleading.

The Hotel was good for me - the location at the end of the Skyway was awesome. The staff was awesome, and the lobby and lounge were super. The room was bit dated, and the road noise was greater than I expected. But in my case it served the purpose, and I would still stay there again if need be.

This is situated very close to airport and had shuttle service also available. The gym area is very compact. No water supplied in the rooms and the place seems little crowded and very nice hospitable staff. If they can provide little more food options and increase the gym area it will be really helpful.

The room was great for the price and having the hotel on the sky train was fantastic. The area around the hotel is sketchy sketchy sketchy, so don't plan on walking around after the sun goes down. I would definitely stay here again.

Karina at the front desk was kind and professional. Made the decision to stay at this hotel easier. On site security, and a great shuttle service to the airport as well. Location is super convenient and one of the closest hotels to Sky Harbor. Would stay again in the future.

Hi normally never ever write a review. This is gladly the exception. My stay at this hotel was absolutely outstanding! From the management all the way to security, The room was excellent but what made everything so incredibly exceptional was the staff and their treatment of their guests . I travel all over the country and this is by far and above the best if you have a chance you should give it a shot.

Very clean hotel and staff were very helpful and nice. The hotel itself is very nice but the park lot for the hotel, on the right adjacent to the hotel, is full of people that are drug addicts...everywhere. I still have 5 stars because it's not the hotels fault but the heroin addicts weren't listed in the brochure 😂 and people need to be aware before booking at this hotel.

quite, clean, and cold! soap dispenser in the tub was empty but other than that everything else was status quo. had a last minute change to my schedule but the staff was able to accommodate and quickly get me a room! which in this business is the most important thing on the list. the rooms are very clean and well maintained which helps calm the mind allowing for a restful night sleep. for the independent traveler just walk to the train and it will take you to the airport or rental car complex

It's a nice quiet hotel with friendly staff. The complementary shuttle to the airport was a plus. It has a little restaurant for when you are hungry and if you need that late night snack, they have a little store to buy sweets, chips, cereal, drinks, and I was surprised when they carried Guinness beer as I like to drink it.

Nice hotel, beds were super comfortable. Very much a dog friendly hotel. I enjoy dogs but my one worry was there be a lot of barking but luckily it was very quiet. They have a really good breakfast burrito for five dollars plus that goes to charity and the staff was very helpful.

We stayed here due to a flight malfunction, I can say it's the nicest hotel an airline has hooked me up with, and has a convenient location to connect to other areas when you don't have a rental as it's right next to the light rail and has a free shuttle to the airport. The hotel itself was nice and clean, and "looked fashionable" per my seven year old.

After plenty of research on where to stay for a quick getaway we found this Crowne Plaza Phoenix Airport that both fit our needs and our budget. I was planning on visiting Chase Field in the downtown Phoenix area, Tempe nightlife, and Scottsdale area. This location was perfect and didn’t even have to pick up a rental car. We first got picked up from airport via complimentary shuttle service that pretty much runs almost 24 hours (just need to make a phone call for pick up). Drivers are awesome, gladly help you with your luggage, and appreciate tips. When we arrived everyone at the front desk was very courteous and welcomed us with a smile. Our room was a little dated but no complaints on my end. It served its purpose with no complaints. The beds were soft, AC worked, and no problems with anything else in the room. We didn’t have much of a view but overlooked the parking lot and in distance saw a few mountains. The hotel breakfast was amazing along with the friendly service from the waitresses. We didn’t dine at the Post Restaurant. They do have a happy hour where you save like $2.00 on certain drinks. Lobby was in good condition. Didn’t have time to go to the pool but it looked in good condition. Wouldn’t mind coming back because of the great service, location, and I’m an IHG member. Thanks guys & keep up the great work. On a side note: if your looking for a place to grab some Uber eats try Speedy Tacos. You’ll thank me later.

Nice Hotel and Very Friendly Staff. Room was nice and very clean. The TV was older and dated with a Line through it... I told them about it and they were gonna let maintenance know. No Clock in the room but they do have a shuttle Bus that runs every 30 to the Airport. I would recommend this place.

Most everything was great. But a few things made our overnight stay unpleasant. First was the host at the front desk. She was very short with me, while checking in and out. I don't know what I did to offend her but she wasn't that way with other guests. Second was we had very little time to sleep, along with having a 2 yr old so we booked a quiet zone room. Well about 3:30am the people in the room next to ours came in. They were so loud, laughing and playing some kind of golf game in the hallway it was beyond unacceptable. We carefully poked our head out the door and asked them to be quiet, not knowing how drunk they were we didn't want to enrage them. Moments later security showed up and they quieted down. But they should NEVER have been put in a room in a quiet zone! Major failure on the part of the host.

This hotel should only be a 2 star hotel. It is very basic with basic amenities. The coffee maker in my room was a standard coffee maker you get at a super 8 hotel with basic coffee. For a 4 star hotel I would expect a small kureg like holiday in gives you with Starbucks coffee. We ordered room services that was not very good at all not to mention I had to pull a arm and leg and put on hold for 15 minutes just to get. We were only provided with 2 towels and basic soaps. Nothing about this hotel was 4 stars what so ever. Not to mention out room smelt like mold and the room was out of date when it comes to style. The parking garage wasn't very safe at all. Anyone can walk into it off the streets and the security guard didn't walk around the garage not once when I was there. he was asleep most of the time or just sitting out front for show. Save your money or go to a 3 star hotel cuz this was a very poor experience I had at this 4 star

Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your place. They compare hundreds of hotel sites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the best in the area. I have been coming here for years. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't be let down. Very welcoming. I feel safe and secure with their safety measures and their disinfectant protocols. I'm very careful where I stay and I feel comfortable here.

Really liked staying here. Price was reasonable, room was very nice, and free parking in the garage. Enjoyed our stop at the lobby bar. The two women working were very pleasant and friendly. Chatted with other guests and overall a good experience.
