There is nothing really near this hotel. Also, staff didn't seem to be helpful when asked about things to do in their city. However, Brian at the front desk was helpful getting us to our concert we traveled to from Canada. I also got to learn how to use UBER. We got the place for the pool, and it was not heated and were told it was heated. we couldn't even put our feet in it as it was so cold like ice cubes.

This is a wonderful place to stay and I would give a 5 star rating, however, I had to extend my stay and when I did they did not look to see if I had extended it after I called, text, and stopped by front desk to inform them and they charged my card for a night stay. My card was lost/stolen right after check-in. So, they say they will refund it if I can bring my card up there! Well, I no longer have that card, I have the replacement card and now I’m being told they can’t refund the money to my new card. I’ve come up here 5 different times to get this straightened out and each time I’ve been given excuse after excuse. I’m not understanding what is so complicated about giving back what is mine. I’ve been very nice and patient with the staff and the little girl today wants to get an attitude and tell me to escalate this however you want, I’m not refunding your money. Everybody else has been polite and excellent customer service. Even the manager. Even though she is saying she can’t refund my money because I Don’t have the same card, which is wrong, but she is still polite. I’m just frustrated with this and will update review when this is taken care of.

The front desk staff were nice, but every thing else was a huge disappointment. The entire hotel smelled of constant marijuana smoke, so badly it started to make me ill. Breakfast were not great, coffee ranging from weak to lukewarm and ran out of several things before 8 every day. House keeping did not come to the room once during our three night stay, despite specifically asking. Not enough parking. Guests were parked in the fire lane around the building. Coffee maker in the room was broken and cups and lids did not match in size. Tv did not work, had to have someone help reset it. Very low water pressure. And water was cut for 10 minutes entirely not long after we arrived

Based on my experience here, I would rate this hotel a tad higher than 3 stars but lower than 4. Customer service was excellent. No issues there. Room itself was decent. Beds were pretty comfortable. There was a baby cockroach inside the bathroom. Various amounts of the previous guest's long hair was still in the shower, restroom floor, embedded within the clean towels, etc. Floor was alright. Not the best nor worst. Curtains were able to close all the way to block out light at night. The AC worked, but not that well. Even at the set temperature to keep the room cool, it only turned on seldomly, and the room always felt warmer than what it was set at. Room itself was quiet for the most part. In the lobby, they had a snack area with food and drinks for purchase. Breakfast was pretty good. Eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, juice, etc. Parking was free. No restaurants within immediate vicinity. Area seemed safe. Not far from Tempe, AZ and university; only minutes away. Overall, not a bad place to stay, but not the best either. For the price, free parking, breakfast, and good customer service, I'd recommend above some others. But wouldn't be first on the list.

We came in really late it was one of the few rooms left on the west side of Phoenix. First night all 5 of us (2 adults and 3 kids slept in a king bed) the next morning the staff was horrified this had happened and apologized. They also worked with us to change us to a room with two queens for Saturday night. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable! Excellent service!

This place was great for the price and location! It was clean, the king bed was huge, it was about a five minute drive to the downtown area with food and bars. They served breakfast from 6 am - 10 am and checkout wasn’t until noon so no one was in a rush. There was no bath, just a stand up shower, heads up! I would definitely come back here again or recommend to a friend.

Hotel front desk, horrible staff, dirty filthy front desk. I had reservations from 3 weeks. We reached at hotel at 12.05 AM after 5.5 hours long flight on 4/13/22 . Women at front desk says my system is down and can’t see your reservation. Showed her on my phone. Asked for clean and quiet room. She replied I don’t have it. You need to take what I offer. I said if room is dirty then you get reviews what I experienced. She told us to leave her property at 12.30 in night. She was so angry and left front desk. She didn’t care what happened to us at that time. She comes back and told us she is going to call local police if we did go soon. Hopefully all is recorded in their CYC camera. Property honor and Reddison cooperation should review it. My husband asked her what we did wrong and she said you are going to write reviews. I never give bad reviews but this one will open lots of travelers thinking. This woman said reservations means nothing. She has ultimate power to check you inn. You are no body. Sounds crazy but it happened this morning. We went next door to court yard Marriott and they were completely booked but helped us over and beyond. We payed very high room rates for checking in late in different hotel but slept well for 7 hours. Pay extra but do not make mistakes of booking at cheap places….it is your vacation or travel make it memorable……

This place was clean and spacious, I didn't feel like I was in a closet. The service and the staff were very nice and friendly. They were also helpful and attentive to your needs. If there was a problem they took care of it the best way possible. The breakfast was good and warm all the time. I was very satisfied with it all. And when I left there I knew I was pleased because it left me with a lasting feeling that some day I'll go back there again. 😊. So Thank you Country Inn for having me there and I'll be sure to let everyone know the best place to stay is there. . Sincerely Leticia G.

Lobby is get a remodel as was the room next to us so of course didn't get to sleep in due to the workers being loud, also no hot water at all atleast the room we had didn't have any. I'm sure when the remodel is done this hotel should look better. Plus side of thing's the free breakfast was great.

This was a great option for the rate paid. Great location for flying out. The window coverings and some room decor/linen were definitely outdated and could use replacing. Location has free breakfast and one of the best Front desk Managers . Lisa was very attentive and accommodating, she is a real asset to your hotel and the reason why we will stay here again!

This place is close to the airport so we chose it based on that. The breakfast was pretty standard with waffles, eggs, muffins, fruit, etc, and was pretty good and fresh. The pool was freezing and the hot tub was lukewarm at best. We were there in January so we didn't expect to swim, but we were hoping to use the hot tub and we were disappointed in that. It also closed early and the staff seemed annoyed when we asked them to keep it open so we could use it. The pool and hot tub are also located out by the parking lot with no inside door access at all. Seems very awkward to walk through/in front of the parking area to get to the pool. I wouldn't want kids to have to do that. So the pool area and facilities has a one star rating from us. Also, the price for the hotel, especially in January was way too much. Not worth $312 for two nights at all. One plus is they do offer shuttle service to and from the airport at no extra charge.

Lisa at the front desk was a life saver for my two granddaughters when they got stranded in the middle of the night at sky harbor airport. All of the other hotels I called had stopped their shuttle service already, or they required a credit card at checkin-- which my granddaughters didn't have. Lisa sent a car to pick my granddaughters up at no charge, arranged for me to pay remotely for their room, and got them a replacement for their lost phone charger. The girls had a great night's rest, a good breakfast, and a safe ride back to the airport the next morning. We are so grateful for the excellent, above and beyond service we received from this hotel after a truly terrible day of travel!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was great for hotel food. They have shuttles to the airport. The pool is small but enjoyable since the fence surrounding it is covered by a privacy screen and you feel like you have a little privacy.

This was a nice place for the value. I took one star off because the remote control was broken. It would not allow us to change channels 😳. Called the front desk and all they said was "maintenance is gone for the evening...sorry"...😡😡. Guess the figure I got your money who cares if you can watch TV or not...and that sucks!!! I would recommend that you go check the entire room before paying.

This place is older but the beds were comfortable, the service at the front desk and at breakfast was excellent and the price was decent. The pool area wasn't that great and the rooms smelled a little musty but were clean. We would stay there again.

Avoid this place, can’t even call it a hotel. You know how you get called for jury duty and you have to park in a downtown garage, that’s what this place is like. Everything is dirty, and they operate under a stay & fly policy. It means that guests spend the night, and pay extra to leave their car parked on site while they fly out on vacation. The problem is they were obviously selling parking spaces to the general public who was flying out. They may have 100 rooms, but 250 cars parked on site. Guests arriving had nowhere to park. Cars were parked in front of every available space that was not a parking space. Parked in front of dumpsters, walking ways, and any space available. You had to maneuver to get to the lobby. Once you get to the lobby, it’s like a ghetto building you see on tv, and the staff behave as if they came from a ghetto. I imagine parking must be significantly cheaper than the airport, but it still sucks.

This hotel sells their parking spaces as a “pay and ride” service to people who DO NOT STAY at the hotel. As a result, there is absolutely ZERO parking for those who are staying at the hotel. When we complained, we were told we could park across the street. So, the customers staying at the hotel need to park in an unsecured lot or on the street? We will never ever stay here again. Please do your research. Do mot stay here!

Great place to stay if going to fly out of Sky Harbour Airport. Nice breakfast bar, Friendly and helpful staff. The one thing I would suggest is if you need anything from front desk, go there rather than calling...they are not good at answering in house calls.

This hotel had both good and not good about it. They didn't say at check-in that all rooms with king beds were handicap rooms. A young staff member told me that later. I'm not sure if that's true or more convenient to not switch my room. Handicap rooms do not have bathtubs. It was good that they supple free Lyft service to and from airport. The breakfast is plentiful and good. Didn't care for the front lobby that had loud music blaring all the time apparently for the young staff's enjoyment. They also had cold air just above the seating in the lobby. Also the work space computer was in the lobby with no privacy and the loud noise. Oh yes, the pool is only outside which they also don't tell you in their advertisement. I was there in February so wasn't able to enjoy swimming.

Nice motel, area seemed safe, desk clerk was ok, not friendly but not rude either. Room was satisfactory, no complaints. We use ear plugs so we heard no sounds during the night. Breakfast was an average continental, waffles, muffins, bagels, scrambled eggs, bacon, etc. We would stay again.

Stayed overnight after attending a concert. The room was clean and just what we needed for a overnight stay. The AC was not fully functioning. It cooled just barely to get by on an early fall in Phoenix. There was free breakfast but the choice were limited. We ended up eating at Cracker Barrel. Being close to the airport may be a plus for some people. The streets outside are rather busy most time of day.

I gave rooms a 3 just for being dated. The staff was great and location was fine. The breakfast was good as was lady in charge of it. I forgot her name. We stayed 2 days. They gave a welcome bag for being a reward member. It was nice to be recognized. Was impressed they had cookies. Alot of country inns we stay at use the excuse that no cookies due to covid, so we really enjoyed that this hotel was back to doing that. It's always nice to have a treat! Thank you.

I stayed here for 6 hours because of a canceled flight. I checked in at 3am left at 9am. When I arrived the hotel clerk couldn't find my reservation. Then when he finally found it he told me "oh I was just in that room" at first I didn't think anything of it. But when I got into the room the TV was on and u could tell someone had been sitting and laying on the bed. The TV remote was also on the bed too. But while in the room it had a very awful smell to it. I was exhausted and they had no other rooms available. I pulled the covers to lay down and it had hair all over the sheets gross!! The restroom had hair all over the floor and shower. I have a strong feeling the hotel clerk was kicking back in the room relaxing and uses the sink and restroom before I checked in.

Overall a great stay and we would stay again! Wish the pool and hot tub were cleaner. Breakfast was decent, good selection. Some staff didn’t seem very friendly but others were pleasant. Close to restaurants and airport. Shuttle was handy.

Mike & Deanna were awesome. We were in a bad situation due to flight issues, and when I explained to them what happened they were very understanding and kind. They helped us out to make the rest of our trip a whole lot better. Rooms were clean and beds are comfortable, good breakfast to start your day.

Nate Evelyn Vanessa Ceiara Juana from housekeeping the little angel that makes breakfast and cookies and especially Gabriella. These are just a few of the names of the wonderful people that work at this hotel. I didn't mean to leave anybody out but I'm sure I did. The thing is this hotel doesn't leave anything out. There's wonderful breakfast clean rooms nice staff friendly Courteous and caring. It's got a very nice location with a bunch of different things around it. Restaurants parks things of that nature. Good transportation the desk staff will even arrange for a ride for you. And there's a small pantry that you can purchase different food items up to an including Pizza and ice cream. To sum it all up I would stay here above any other place.

Very Nice Hotel. Staff was great at Check in the gentleman was very friendly and Helpful. The staff at breakfast was very efficient, and the staff at check out was also very friendly. The room was clean, bed was great, pillows were okay (if you like those little pillows). The room had a fridge, coffeemaker, and microwave. The breakfast was good, both hot and cold foods, and the hot food was actually hot. A pretty good selection of foods at the breakfast. I was very impressed of how quite this hotel was being as it was so close to the airport. It seemed to have a very active shuttle, although we didn't use it. It's location to the highway and airport were excellent. My only negative issue was that the pool water was pretty murky. I did use the pool but did not go under water. Overall an excellent stay. I would definitely stay here again, the price was very good also.

I was very surprised with this hotel since I didn't have great expectations but the customer service was excellent! Both Obed (evening shift) and Nathan (day shift) at the front desk were great! The facility was clean and well maintained and my room was spacious and quiet. Good breakfast and all the staff members that I interacted with were attentive and courteous. The cleaning person, Margarita was very nice and fulfilled all my requests. Definitely will stay again if I'm going to Phoenix.

I can not express myself enough about this place. I stayed there three times in the last two months and it is absolutely awesome. They treat you with respect and kindness. If you need something, the staff is there to help you immediately. Quite the characters, funny and even some odd but they keep you on your toes, keep you smiling and keep you happy. I definitely would recommend this place as a stay for anyone visiting Arizona. Also it's very close to places to visit and go hiking.

This place is highly underrated! It is by far one of the best places we have stayed since begining our road trip 6 months ago. It's immaculately clean, quiet and updated. We enjoyed a terrific full breakfast in a great dinning area and very helpful customer service. We highly recommend staying here when you are in Phoenix!

I was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming and friendly all of the staff were to me. They even called shortly after I got up to my room just to make sure everything was okay and seeing if I needed anything. Tracy was EXTREMELY helpful and super, super nice and accommodating. I would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. I will be sure to stay here the next time I get a hotel room!!
