This is a La Quinta? We have stayed at a few and this was the worst. Dirty carpet (with obvious stains), floor, walls, curtains , cracked mirror generally unkempt. This property has obvious signs of delayed maintenance. Near I-17, it is an embarrassment to the Wyndham brand. Has Corporate ever visited this property? You should! Motel 6 or Super 8 is superior in comparison. I paid about $150 a night and regretted it as soon as I walked in the room! No wonder they change you when you check-in because I would have checked out immediately. Don't waste your money unless you're desperate. 9/5/2023 - I just received a canned reply from the Manager. I did not see any activity of renovation of any kind. I think this is not true. There are no workers there, except for hookers and the drugged out homeless standing in the shade and in and around the Ice Machines to keep themselves cool in the heat of the day.

I’d give a zero star if I could. We booked a room for this weekend back in September. Our flight didn’t land until 12am and by the time we got our rental car and got to the hotel, it was 3am. Only to find out that the hotel had shut down. No email, no refund (over $400) for two rooms, nothing. Renovations is not an excuse not to communicate to people who are relying on them for a secure place to stay. There’s bad than there’s leaving people stranded at 3am bad. Do not book here unless you’re willing to call other hotels at 3am for openings.

The non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes. It’s sad because we have two children staying here… customer service from front desk peeps was great. Still 1 star 2 full beds for 145 was definitely not worth it. The bath tub was stopped up, so the water was rising. One child is autistic, and gets really scared when that happens so that wasn’t cool at all. The sheets looked dirty and the room is so stuffy and the smell of cigarettes will not go away I even tried leaving the door open…. The pool is super dirty!!!!!!!!!! So mad I spent almost $200 on this room!!!!!

A week ago my daughter left a review about us being stranded at 3am because we were turned away at the door when we arrived. Word was that they shut down to house homeless vets and as a Gold Star wife, I completely get it. But, I found out today that Alaska Airlines was told that they weren't closed and that I never bothered to check in. So, there's not letting people know your are closed and stranding them at 3am bad, and there's lying to the booking company so they don't have to pay a refund bad. I did call corporate who are working on it, but come on!!

This place is horrible. Tubs need replacing along with the furniture. The carpet is scary. Trim molding is cracked. They want you to bring the towels to the front desk to replace them. Oh, no food allowed in the room either. Find a different place!

No freeway noise. No bad smells. Nice bathroom sink area. Bed very soft and sink a lot for 135lbs and only 3 pillowsfor king bed. Heat unit very loud. Passes camera detection test. Ultraviolet light showed no bugs and main things you touch is clean but walls were bad. Price was affordable.

Stay away- this hotel was infested with bed bugs! We opened the door and they were visible on top of the bed we didn’t have to lift anything up. When we told the receptionist he was understanding. I felt like he knew about the issue. Unfortunately for us, all the hotels in the area were sold out for the night and we had to sleep in the car. Thank goodness for the Hilton that still had rooms available for the next day. But I guess you get what you pay for. But I have never seen such a disgusting hotel and I’ve stayed in hostels all around the world. I will never stay at the Quinta ever again.

We came to this property after leaving another one because it was awful. First impressions of this place were very good even though our expectations were pretty much in the basement at this point. We arrived late night but the property felt safe and was well lit. A little confusing to navigate at first but once you get it you'll have no issues getting around. the guy at the front desk was very helpful during the entire check in process. the room was very well kept and clean. the AC was extremely powerful while being fairly quiet which is always a plus. The included breakfast had a good selections and the quality was pretty good for what it was. The attendant was a bit short but everyone has those days. Overall a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

The staff were nice and efficient. My room was nice and clean mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave. And I don't know about y'all but I had to drag myself out of the bed ..very comfortable. If your without transportation and on foot there is a 7-11 right nextdoor. Don't forget to get your breakfast..yum. Will have this on my list of places to return..

Friendly staff rooms where less then adequate but what was really surprising was the other tenants. More homeless and schetchy people then I would of liked. Felt less safe for little kids considering we was close to the airport. Also for 2 straight days they had no plates for waffles having to use small plates.. Overall I would give the experience a 2 out 5

The neighborhood has a fair number of homeless, but the hotel itself inside is decent - clean rooms, clean lobby, breakfast area and even the pools and hot tub are well kept. The outside paint of the buildings is starting to peel. Staff is excellent. Attentive and helpful.

Unfortunately my stay here was not good. I realize that this chain is budget friendly, but there are basics which shouldn't be ignored. Such as providing a clean room. The bathroom sink and toilet were not cleaned from the previous guest. There was thistles in the carpet which my shoeless feet didn't appreciate. The room was kinda gross, but the linens were fresh and clean so we stayed...

If I could rate this hotel zero stars I would. With pretty much no time prior to my booked date I received an email with no explanation that my booking was canceled. I tried reaching them and they pretty much said, “Too bad so sad.” Then proceeded to stop answering my calls and attempts at reaching them. When I contacted customer service as to this it was probably even worse. They said the hotel had not provided any form of explanation as to the cancelation. They offered to try and “find a solution” a week from when I was asking for help, which would be too late after my booked date. I was also offered help with booking a room again, however I was not offered the same price I originally booked with but instead a huge increase in pricing. I’m very disappointed from this time as I had to go out of my way to try and find another hotel at a very last minute and unfortunate timing.

Traveler beware! If I could rate this experience as a zero I would. This location canceled my reservation that I booked months in advance without notice literally three days before my arrival date. They did not provide a reason as to why my reservation was canceled. When I called the front desk to inquire why my reservation was canceled without notice, the front desk agent hung up the phone. I called for approximately an hour and no one ever picked up the phone. After this, I reached out to the customer service line, where they were unable to locate anything written from the location as to why my reservation was canceled. And because apparently all La Quintas are independently owned, I was forced to either rebook at another location at a significantly higher price from when I initially booked or search for other accommodations on my own. Save yourself the time and capacity and book elsewhere.

Rooms are clean, and breakfast is great, but staff could use a little training in customer service except for the 2 older gentlemen. (They are great) I recommend this place because the rooms are clean. I personally just didn't have the greatest experience with staff.

First room had animal feces in it, front desk was understandable and moved us right away. Next morning wanted to go for a swim before checking out but apparently maintenance couldn't be bothered to open the gate. Continental breakfast was what you'd expect, basic.

Scheduled this hotel for 5 nights, because, you know, La Quintas are always pretty nice. Not so. However, every staff person I spoke to was helpful and nice. The condition of the hotel is the problem. We were given a room that did not have a toe kick on the door so there was a big space under the door where bugs or even a rodent could enter. The beds looked nice, but as I looked at the floor it was filthy and stained. The bathroom door didn't close properly and neither did the closet doors. We were assigned a different room which was a little better. The carpeted floor was still filthy, so I asked for extra towels to spread on the floor so I could walk barefoot. The caulk around the tub enclosures looked dirty. The premises smelled like urine and cigarette smoke. People who were smoking disregarded the 25 ft regulation away from buildings. I woke in the middle of the night smelling cigarette smoke. If someone walked past the room while talking, it almost felt as if there was a window open. You could hear the conversation clearly. There were people hanging around who were transient. There was garbage all over the stairs and lawn. The stairs need attention. They felt gungy and dirty. Until this hotel is significantly upgraded and there is security to keep people away who are not staying at the hotel, I would not stay here. Needless to say, we stayed one night and cancelled the other 4 nights. It was just impossible to relax here. The pictures on the hotel site do not represent the true condition of the rooms. The hotel lobby and breakfast room were ok. La Quinta has always had a good reputation in my experience. If I were corporate La Quinta I would insist that this hotel change their name. The breakfast was acceptable. It did have a good working ice machine at the bottom of the stairs. And as I said, all of the employees I encountered were courteous and helpful.

Don't waste your money on this property!! They canceled my reservation even though I had called in advance because we had car problems driving (from out of state) and wouldn't get there by midnight. I was told that if I wasn't there by midnight, they would cancel my reservation and charge me a nights stay. I've worked in this industry before and its a courtesy to extend people the ability to check in over the phone and hold their room/reservation when they are experiencing issues beyond their control, and still allow them to provide credit card and ID when they get to the property. They ended up charging me twice... and also my brother's room charges as well. He tried changing the card for them to charge and was told he couldn't. The only way they could help him is if he left his credit card info with them and have me call back another day. Why? I was still on the property and they still wouldn't change the info. I know they should be able to do it because I travel with my BF for his military duty. I usually reserve and he changes the card if he shows up to the hotel, or will do it at checkout. Never a problem. This property also denied me a room with a fridge, which was needed for my mother's medication. I believe this is an ADA violation. Keep searching!!

I didn't expect much going in knowing it was a cheaper hotel but some how my expectations were still to high. The rooms are in desperate need of repairs and a deep cleaning. It was fine for a quick stop on a trip but I would not/could not recommend stopping here with children. If you needed to do some research on the local drug epidemic you could find plenty of subjects in the parking lot or continental breakfast...

Is this really a La Quinta? Disgusting rooms. It was so bad I took a 3min video because I knew no one would believe me. Stay away from this hotel! We were supposed to be there for 5 days but checked out after one spooky night. There are La Quinta's on Peoria and I-17 that are awesome Wyndham properties. But this La Quinta -North on Greenway is just nasty. The staff is nice but they are trying to keep up a burned out , bug infested property. Hey--CEO of La Quinta, this hotel is destroying your brand! We dare you to have your family stay there one night at $211.99/night.

When we first walked in, the lobby smelled funky. There was sushi spilled on the floor near the receptionist area and candy stuck on the carpet. The first room we were given smelled like pee. We immediately left the room because of how disgusted we were. We wanted to leave but they said we wouldn’t get our money back until a few days so we stayed and they did give us a new room. However, I still felt gross being there. The towels in the bathroom smelled bad so I didn’t use them. Anything I touched made me feel gross. My brother also woke up feeling itchy after sleeping on the bed. If you want to stay somewhere clean and that has professional staff, don’t come here. This whole stay was awful.

The rooms and grounds were not clean as they should be. The rooms were minimally adequate. The saving grace was the high quality staff and decent full breakfast meal. The price was very reasonable. Sadly the facility was below average.

I didn’t expect much of a cheap hotel but I also didn’t expect to see pee on the toilet seat when we walked in. I wish I could get my money back. The bathroom was worse than a lot of gas station bathrooms. The room was really dirty and is in desperate need of updating. I didn’t want to touch anything. The bathroom ‘counter’ was nothing but warped fiberboard or plywood. There was a big black hairball in the bed when I pulled back the comforter for the first time. I’m giving it 2 stars only because the two employees at the front counter were nice. I paid $88 and it wasn’t even worth that. We ended up checking in at 1 am after being on the road for many hours. If it were possible, we would have found someplace else to stay - anywhere else. The place looks nice from the front but the lack of cleanliness within the room still sends shivers down my spine.

They charge a ridiculous rate for rooms with no refrigerator and microwave. On 2 different occasions within the same week, the manager set up a time for me to come in to negotiate a better rate, the first time he didn't show up, the second which is currently happening as I type this review, he said he would be here at 9 am, I've been waiting going on an hour and a half. Been staying here since July 10 2022 and get charged a daily deposit of $75 all because they are trying to deter the drugged out individuals wondering the property. There's only been one employee that was trying to help me out by not charging me the $75 daily deposit because I've been an outstanding guest and that employee felt that it was ridiculous to be treating a guest that way and they started putting pressure on that same employee to not help me out.

I usually use La Quinta Inn for most traveling. Mainly for the quality of the rooms for the price. Stayed here for 1 night, room was less than par for other locations I've stayed at. We're talking I have been in nicer rooms at Motel 6. Will never use this location again. Michelle the desk clerk was awesome.

Our room had neither a microwave nor a mini fridge. I can't remember the last time we stayed somewhere that didn't have at least a small fridge. There were definitely a few homeless people hanging around the hotel, and with the room door directly to the outside and not to an inner hallway like most hotels, it did not feel the safest.

Oh and the comforters??? We’ve lived there for a long time and not once did I see a cleaning lady change out the comforter. Maybe your sheets and pillow cases… good luck getting a comforter that’s CLEAN. They would rather continue to keep them in the same room regardless if it’s dirty. Don’t worry, they’ll just buy a new one when there’s cigarettes burns in yours & give you extra sheets to accommodate.

This is the first hotel I’ve ever stayed at where you have to take your dirty towels to the office to get new clean towels. I did that last night and the front desk person named Lisa told me I could not get clean towels until I brought the dirty ones back. So I brought the dirty ones back and she didn’t want to touch them so I had to go in the back with her to put them in the dirty towels bin and count them out so she could give me some new towels. Otherwise all the other staff was very accommodating and pleasant to be around.

We've been here about a week and $400 a week is cheap, so I'll re-book & extend our stay. The place is fairly old, so the rooms aren't perfect but at least they are clean. Saving $$ is great, but there is a drawback in this case. The low prices here are appealing to not only frugal minded consumers but they also attract an assortment of dope fiends & low life losers. All you have to do is ignore em' & act like they're not there and everything will be fine...

I stayed the night at La Quinta Inn. and i have to say, it was comfortable and hassle-free experience. The room was clean and cozy, which was exactly what i needed for a long day of traveling. The bed was comfy, and i slept like a log. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient, And check in was a breeze. They were also helpful with providing recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions, which i appreciated. The location was convenient too, with easy access to major highways and local amenities. It made my stay even more enjoyable because i didn't have to go far to grab a meal.

STAFF very friendly, rooms are ok NO microwave or refrigerator that’s EXTRA which I’ve never heard of. There are several homeless and people on drugs roaming the property looking in trash, there’s trash all over. Make sure you LOCK your vehicle and take everything out, don’t go outside alone. The pool seems to be a free for all and people so high falling asleep in the hot tub, this place also has long term living. The smell of irons and pot is all thru the walk ways. They definitely need to clean up around as a Wyndham loyal customer I won’t be back. I thought for the price I’d try it. So far the three Wyndham hotels I’ve stayed at are not too impressive.

Place really needs a remodel and possibly a security person to run off the trespassers who are milling about. The staff that I interact with were professional and hard working. This location is just in bad repair and doesn't feel secure for a woman on her own

The daytime manager is a racist, I would never say this unless it was true. I rented the room just for myself, if I had another person then I'd say because I got a double bed and the price wouldn't be any higher than what I was paying but she accused me of having a second person staying with me in the room. When I pulled up to the front after working doing doordashing all night and I went in to pay for another 3 days for the hotel and she made me wait in the lobby as she sent the maintenance guy to do a "Room check". Supposedly he told her there was evidence of a second person staying in the room so I asked her what proof she had and why would I even do that so she went and literally rifled through all my stuff which was only my personal items. I again asked her for proof at any wrong doing and this time she accused me of smoking in the room. I don't even smoke. She just hated me for being a white person. I was 100% respectful towards her and she treated me like I threw a rock at her, total hater for no reason whatsoever. Just be ready to be treated like a second class citizen. Just go somewhere else of you need to stay a few days of else she will use her lame powers to segregate you right out of the place. If you were inadvertently born white she will make you suffer, she won't judge you on the content of your character but merely the color of your skin so don't think you can change her mind you won't. People just want to be treated fairly like everyone else.

I have booked here at least half a dozen times and it’s not because of location/rooms/price — it is because of one employee, Ida. Her service is the very definition of hospitality. I have watched her manage the breakfast area every stay, she keeps the guests following the rules but without being rude/overbearing, in fact guests love her. I have watched her greet guests, especially the children, and it always reminds me of going to your favorite relatives home. She deserves triple whatever her currently salary is and should be in charge of training. She has a seemingly natural graceful hospitality with guests.

Room could've been cleaned better . Bedding had stains. Sink and tub drain was clogged took water a while to dgo down. Microwave and mini fridge was sticky. Outside building looks nothing like the pictures online. At 2 am there was a puppy crying outside my door. This hotel was horrible. Please do not waste your money because that's what I did.

We checked into the hotel one night early. Upon arrival the front desk person was overwhelmed and not sure what to do. She gave us keys that did not work 3 separate times. Then gave us an “emergency” key that opened every room and told us not to lose it. Another guest mentioned that someone was already in the room we were given (the front desk worker had tried giving that room to her earlier). We were assured that person has left but asked to “knock first.” We walked in on a squatter inside the room who wasn’t thrilled to see us. We went back to the front desk and were given a room just 2 doors down from the person we had walked in on. We were approached by homeless persons and walked by another guest doing drugs in the stairwell. At this point we no longer felt safe staying at this location. We canceled our booking out of concern for our safety.

I rated this place "okay" because the staff was incredible. That's where the awesomeness ended and the "poor" begins. This entire place needs a good scrubbing and new coat of paint. That plus a few new beds would make a world of difference. One of the two beds was so noisy at the slightest move that both of us would wake up anytime the person in that bed turned over. Halfway through the night, we both crawled in the one bed that was obviously newer: the mattress actually had some support and the entire bed was sound free. I don't know what was going on in town the night that we were here, but the motel was completely booked, so switching rooms was not an option. Our sink drained very slowly, and I'm grateful that we took a shower before traveling, because that means I can get away without showering here tonight. I didn't feel 100% safe on site, but I also didn't sleep with one eye open. The stair well is a little worrisome (and VERY dirty [the trash in the stairwell was always over flowing]). If you're just looking for a place to lay your head, it gets the job done, but the cleanliness definitely needs to be ramped up both on a day to day level (we found a lot of hairs scattered about that did not belong to us, and the floor along the wall hadn't been vacuumed (there was debris along one of the walls next to the bed), and on a deep clean level (the bottom of the bathtub was stained, various spots on the walls and ceiling, a previous occupant carved something into the border around the closet, etc). Every time I went into a room, pulled back the sheets or opened a drawer, I expected to find bugs/rodents, but thankfully I never saw any. If everything was deep cleaned and a fresh coat of paint was added, it would be a phenomenal deal for the money, and I could even justify paying more. But in it's current condition, I'm not exactly sure how this location has an average of a 7 rating on various sites, but if all of the rooms were like the one we stayed in, I would expect it to be more like a 4/10.
