We’re moving back east, and about an hour ago brought a large load of very nice and gently used goods to this location, only to watch some of our items be promptly thrown out into the dumpster. Yes, that’s right. A $1000+ gently used, complete custom Asian style headboard, footboard and sideboards, bookcase, side table, etc. all thrown into the trash. No telling how many of the smaller goods followed suit. There was a grumpy attendant with a very nasty attitude that mumbled something about Goodwill not needing these items, and when asked why donors weren’t being told their items would be thrown out so they could have the option of finding other organizations that could use them, grumbled something under his breath. Maybe he didn’t like our ethnicity. In any event, if you are and ecologically minded individual who would like to see their items recycled and reused to prevent overcrowding in landfills, or would like to see your items helping the less fortunate, or being enjoyed by bargain hunters and collectors that appreciate nice things, don’t bother donating to Goodwill. At least not this location. We hired a U-Haul truck specifically to get our donations to them. Had we known our things would just end up in the dumpster, we could’ve been disgracefully wasteful and just thrown them out ourselves. Or better yet, found someone who could actually use them. This location is a huge disappointment. Never again.

I cannot begin to express how disappointed I was when I stopped in to this Goodwill location. I had a few people I was looking for items to get and was horrified at the attention I received for having 9 or so items in my cart. The cashier left her register to ask me to leave the store. I didn't understand and asked her why? She said, "Are you planning on buying all of those?". I replied, "yes I do.". (Honestly my total wasn't more than $35. It was not even an excessive dollar amount.). She then advised me some people run out of the store with cartloads of items. I stopped her and said, "Would you like me to give you my purse or cash while I shop? ". "No, I don't want to be responsible for your purse.". Well I was allowed to finish my shopping trip after being totally humiliated, and followed through the store and when I paid for all 9 of my things in cash, there was not even a have a good evening from those nice people!? Listen I am sorry things are rough out there, BUT do not ever treat everyone like they are out to rob you! You just might lose the last good customer you have! You lost a good one in me!

Goodwill at this location is convenient and easy to access. You. Need to enter from the south because the gate system is one way due to a gradeschool that shared the parking lot. Behind Goodwill is very spacious with lots of room to unload. They also have containers of empty cardboard boxes... free for your next load, and a dumpster they actually let you use. Can't beat that!

Helpfull and friendly. They even offered me a 20% discount coupon, and not just because I'm part of the beautiful people's club!... because I'm definitely not part of such an elite club... if it really existed.. it does not tho.. I've googled it... it was all in my hear the whole time. Wait, did I really even shop at goodwill?? **MINDS BLOWN**

Rude staff, this place really went downhill. I don't feel comfortable shopping here anymore when the cashiers treat us like dirt

TL;DR: You better not trust the price on the sticker, because if they don't like it, they won't honor it. Even if you have already paid for it. Store employee refused to give me the item after I had already purchased it and given them the receipt. I bought a coffee table, and after I went to the back to pick it up, I was told by the manager that she "could not" give me the table because it had been mispriced, and that it was actually over 50% more expensive than what I paid. Since I had been told that she "could not" give me the table, I accepted that it would have to be refunded. Not being familiar with the finer points of consumer protection laws offhand, I quickly Googled the legality of this situation. Cornell University defines a receipt as: A legal document evidencing a buyer has purchased and taken possession of the goods. A receipt can range from a small paper itemization of goods purchased in a retail setting to a document that a person storing an item has to prove another’s ownership (i.e. a warehouse receipt). The second I bought that table and was given the receipt, I owned the table. So when I went back inside, I pointed this out to the manager, who flatly refused to give me the table without paying the higher price. So I guess the moral of the story is that if you shop at this Goodwill, you better not trust the price on the sticker, because if they don't like it, they won't honor it. Even if you have already paid for it.

My fiancé found a nice hello kitty crate box and plush backpack but this one specific overweight employee with purple hair and using a inhaler was being rude to my fiancé and mother the whole time we we’re checking out, she said the tags are “ripped” and had to be checked in the back for the real price or the manager had to check whenever it came to the hello kitty things. My fiancé was very upset after she couldn’t get what she wanted. Won’t be coming here with that racist employee. Quickly just checked the tags n started bending them . And to make it worse was giving ugly stares to my sweet mother and giving her attitude. “My mother is Hispanic “ the time this happened was 5/4/2023 around 11am . Please avoid this employee! Or goodwill make your employee more kinder to paying customers.
