This place has been great since the first day my husband and I arrived. We are here for long term. The ladies in the main building are very professional, accommodating and friendly. There’s been quite a bit of renovations being done all around the campground. It has come along quite a bit these past couple of months. Pool and hot tub are almost finished…. Looking forward to that. The campground is peaceful and quite at night. We like to sit on the patio and watch the stars and planes. Great location especially because it’s next to I-17. Has many shopping areas and restaurants all near by.

Do you know how many families you displaced? Just because we have a camper doesn’t mean we have a home. We have no home unless we have somewhere to park it, and finding somewhere to park our older trailer right now during snowbird season is kind of difficult. You found a loophole to get the older trailers out without having to pay to move them.

Owner and Staff are fantastic! Watching the improvements in the park is so encouraging. We are going to love our stay! Brand new laundry room, pool, and showers. Lots of great people staying here. Laid back atmosphere which is so important to us.

Now that new owners took over, I AM NOT HAPPY! Price went up $150.00 a month more, and nothing to show for it! This place sucks for what you pay..will be moving! After 5 years here..its sad?

Staying here at the park has been a phenomenal experience not just for myself but for my K-9 kids and best friend as well. It's a beautiful and quiet place to lay your head down at night and enjoy waking up to in the morning. The staff is very friendly, helpful, professional and do an incredible job with keeping this place up extremely well. The community here is awesome with so many cool people coming from many different parts of the country. The amenities are spectacular including the crystal clear gorgeous heated pool, free wifi throughout the park and very convenient super nice restrooms that do have showers within. The laundry facility is definitely very useful too and nice as well. For anyone considering the park, I give it a 10 out of 5 stars if that helps. I highly recommend it and think it will help provide wonderful lifetime rememberable experiences for you just as it is for me.

THIS IS NOT A "CAMPGROUND" . THIS IS AN R.V. PARK. NO TENT CAMPING IS ALLOWED. Very Misleading with the name.

I personally have not stayed here unfortunately. Although I can rate the customer service from a lady answering the phone. We are coming into town for work and were unaware of Spring Training and Bike Week. Basically it's a headache trying to find a spot to stay with an RV. Nonetheless, the lady was more than helpful giving me the names, and even numbers of the parks near this one. I would definitely give them our business if they were not full.

In all fairness, I visited this place to use the RV dump. Super expensive to dump my RV. I asked the worker there about it and their response was I could go somewhere else and pay more.

A very attentive place. They take care of their guests. Caitlyn (probably spelt wrong) is very personable and remembers her guests with ease. It's a peaceful place and I'm enjoying it here.

TRAVELER, beware. They called me about a spot that opened up, so we took it. I travel for work, so I took a job in this area. We got here and were about to park when they came and told my wife that we would not be able to stay there after tonight. We left, this place isn’t getting a dime from me. I’m not sure why they called me, and approved us to stay at this campsite for 3 months, if our RV wasn’t up to standards. Shouldn’t this be done prior to us showing up?… now we don’t have a place to stay with our camper because of incompetent staff who don’t do their job. I can’t imagine if I were to go to work, and couldn’t do my job that I said I could do in my application. I’m not sure why my family and I are the ones who have to suffer when it was this place’s fault for not asking for pics and following guidelines and policies prior to us showing up and then telling us when we show up. I still have a job to go to, just because you cancelled on me doesn’t mean I just don’t get to go to work. It means, you get 1 more bad review, because I can’t see my family. For the questions below: I’d describe the “hotel” as garbage, none of the options describe this “hotel” at all. Not safe at all, if the electricity can’t handle older RV’s… regulators should really look into this facility. At least they gave a refund for the deposit. The least they could do is let us stay there until we found another spot to stay in, since they approved us prior to arrival. I hope this review helps someone else coming from other parts of the country. To maybe find ANY other campground. The spots are extremely tiny.. I hope no one has the experience we had.

We stayed for a week because my wife had surgery at a nearby hospital. This park was spotlessly clean! Everything (roads within park, office, beautiful pool) was either new or recently refurbished. The office staff was extremely friendly and didn’t make you feel rushed. Good location to get anywhere within Phoenix area. The only two drawbacks we could see: sites are not overly large ( we had plenty space with our 38’ MH and Tahoe). A 45’ MH may be a bit tight if also trailering. The sites are plenty long, just not very wide. They do have extra vehicle parking. 2nd drawback: one side of the park is located along I-17, so there is some road noise. We, however, enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again!

As RV parks go, this one was barely tolerable. Sparse landscaping, unfriendly neighbors and I understand charging to use the washers and dryers but what RV park charges RVers to take a shower? Rather do Mesa KOA.

I stayed here for 7-8 months, and I can say that it was a fantastic place to stay. I love the location, as it's a quick drive up to the Happy Valley area. The ladies in the office are very friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi, like in most RV parks, can be problematic at times, but overall it was better than expected. I also love that they have the option for a dedicated hardwired connection through Lumen/Centurylink. The pool area is fantastic, as is the laundry. All my neighbors were very friendly and respectful. The only gripe I would have, is when I was staying there, a lot of people start getting up and out of there around 6-7am and have some louder trucks, and occasionally as soon as they'd turn out of the property, they'd floor it and make a bit of noise that'd wake me up. I was parked along the south wall right along the exit road, so they'd go right by my bedroom. If you like to sleep in, in the morning, I'd strongly recommend not being parked along the south wall. Overall a fantastic experience, and I would gladly stay there again.

Lady at the front desk overcharged me. The heavyset lady I don’t know her name. overcharged my account never gave my deposit back. Homeless people sneak into the pool. people are grandfathered in that blows weed smoke all through the park. People throw loud parties in the trailer park next-door. Drug attic’s walk around the park. Do not stay here!

We travel with a 17 year old 5th wheel. We have been absolutely meticulous in maintaining it. We love the build quality and have remodeled it both inside and out. The outside is immaculate and has a great timeless design where most people think the 5th wheel is only a few years old. We have seen plenty of parks that have the 10 year rule. We generally send them an email with pictures and have never had issues being let in. We've stayed at probably 25-30 parks like this. Including some very nice park. Such is not the case here. Doesn't matter what your RV looks like if it is less than 10 years old you aren't getting in. Great thing is that Desert's Edge right across the street also has a 10 year rule and happily let us in. This is the way it should be. Hard pass! Better parks in the area for the same price. This park is nothing special that the other parks around the area don't have.

Deer Valley is a wonderful RV park. It's a very convenient location in North Phoenix. The management is excellent and sees the park is kept safe and clean. The office is always open and kept staffed. I highly recommend this park. We stayed here while my wife was being treated at the Mayo Clinic for several months.

Currently a resident here. New ownership has put a little money into fixing the place up but has fallen behind with their progress. It’s now July and pool still not open and just received notice they’re going to increase lot rents. Yes their lot rents are mid range and not that bad but the increase without the amenities to support it I think was a mistake. When the increase takes affect and the renovations are not complete it will no longer be worth it. Found much cheaper place with all amenities ready to go I’m thinking about moving to.

It's okay, but very expensive. It rained and some sites were flooded. People next to ys obviously live there and have a ton of junk in their area. Also, RVs here that are definitely older than 10 years. Right off U-17, and easy access. Okay, but high price.

We phoned in our reservation and were asked how old our camper was. This made us think that we were booking a nice spot with recent model campers... wrong!! We saw campers that looked like they hadn’t moved since 1976, with parts missing off of them. We genuinely worried for our safety. My husband asked me if I wanted the first watch or the second! If we hadn’t already paid and came in after hours we would have never stayed! You would think with KOA prices thy would have actual amenities and no graffiti... wrong again!!!

My wife and I have been staying here since late December 2022. We have had nothing but great service from all the staff in the office and the grounds crew. We had a fire in our RV and the staff was exceptional in making sure we were okay and things have been taken care of. My wife and I appreciate the staff for all they have done for us since December.

If I could give this business more stars I would. We were in a serious vehicle accident on our way through AZ, which resulted in my truck being totaled and damage to my RV. We couldn't find an opening in any RV lots and Deer Valley made room for us while we delt with the insurance companies, which lasted about 2 moths and they kept us in the lot the entire time. The staff was amazing and the accommodations are worth the money. If we ever come back to Phoenix, Deer Valley RV will be our first choice. We appreciate all the help from Deer Valley RV Park for their help and patience.

Clean friendly rv park near food and stores. Waffle House and Denny's across the street circle k up the block. DMV is within walking distance. Bus services within walking distance there are 2 routes that go up that way. Cost 4 dollars for all day pass for adults and 2 dollars for youth. Walmart is right up the interstate on Happy valley.

  • 1/5 Glenn T. 4 years ago on Google
Too many speed bumps. They'll rearrange your cupboards. The I-17 is within 300 yards of the west end of the RV park, and along the east end of the park. Depending on the wind, the flight path for Deer Valley Airport goes directly over the park until 10 PM. I wouldn't rate this park more than a 1 as there are more things wrong with it than right. And none of these comments take the cost into effect.
