We had so much fun at Puzzle Effect!! Curtis, Austin and Ben were amazing game masters. They personalized the experience and showed us a great time! We had so much fun with the first room (Pipe Works) that we booked another one (Amnesia) for the same night and yet another one (Grimm Stacks) for the next night. The energy of the space and the friendly employees really made the experience wonderful. The rooms and games are well executed and so much fun! The decor reflects the theme so well and the puzzles were amazing. If you’re looking for a fun way to spend an hour - come here! Keep up the great work everyone!

This was my first time ever in an escape room, and my friend and I had so much fun. Our Game Master Arson was incredible, they were so helpful and passionate about the games, and it really enhanced our experience. The puzzles were challenging but accessible, and the two stories we experienced were unique and really interesting. I can't wait to try their other rooms! Thank you again Arson!

We had an awesome time in the pirate room!! Isac S. was an amazing host and explained everything very well. We somehow got out with 15 minutes to spare and the hints came at the perfect times. Even though it was a first, the video explaining the locks was exactly what we needed! The place was so cool, well decorated, clean, and fun. Every staff we came in contact with were super nice. Great time overall!

My son and I were looking for something to do and on a whim decided to do an escape room. We ended up at Puzzle Effect and we ended up having such a great time, we are planning our next trip there with the whole family. Since it was our first time doing an escape room, we went with the 'easiest' one called Pipe Works. Curtis was the employee who helped us get started, and he was such a nice and helpful guy. We had one hour to 'escape' and succeeded with 3 minutes left. We did have to get a few hints along the way, but it was only enough to nudge you in the right direction. Over all, the room was just the right amount of difficulty for us. I would highly recommend Puzzle Effect and can't wait to go back and do another room!

First time going to this location and I was impressed by the escape room! Our game master Isac S. was a delight to have. He definitely made the experience better! He helped in the beginning but without his help we’d be stuck even longer. Definitely worth going! We did a group of 6. It is challenging but easy if everyone contributes into the escape room. Worth it! Will do it again.

We had a great time at Puzzle Effect!! It was my first time doing an escape room, so I had no idea what to expect. The puzzle, Amnesia, was just the right amount of difficulty and so fun!! Jenna was great! I had to change my appointment several times and she was so accommodating and was working the night we came. She was cheerful and very professional. We had such a great time that we already scheduled another one!

We had a great time at this escape room! The puzzles were challenging enough that we needed some of the hints (despite being seasoned escapees) and they kept us on our toes. The room was pleasantly immersive and the themes were fun. We didn't have an appointment, but Isaac was awesome and reset a room for us early so we could have it to ourselves. Overall, we would recommend checking this place out for a fun night!

My colleagues and I were in town for a couple nights and wanted to try an escape room together. For half I log us, this was nothing new, but for the other half, it was their first time. We tried Amnesia, and it was a blast! The room was well thought out with a variety of puzzles that even our newbies were able to pick up on and start contributing right away! The staff was very friendly (our game master Jasmine was equally friendly, helpful, personable, and accommodating). I also appreciated that there were available hand sanitizers within the game rooms themselves so I always felt comfortable. I would definitely recommend Puzzle Effect and look forward to trying another room when I’m back in town.

My husband and I were both escape room novices, and we had a great time in the Grim Stacks room. The theme and setup were awesome, and our game master, Jasmine, was super helpful. We plan to go back :)

We had an absolute BLAST solving the Curse of the Emerald Seas. Isaac made sure to walk us through what kinds of puzzles we could expect throughout our room. Speaking of the room, the attention to detail was astounding, everything from the lighting to the props and clues made the experience so much more enjoyable. I can't wait to try out the other rooms they have to offer!!

This room was very fun!! Our game master Jenna was very friendly, professional, and helpful! I would definitely come back and do other rooms. The room had a few twists and different style puzzles/clues than other rooms we've done which we really liked!! We highly recommend going here if you enjoy escape rooms!

Had a real grand time challenging one of the escape rooms here. It was a rousing adventure and Morgan who worked there was a true professional. He was a stand up guy and we'll be coming out again for sure to take on the other rooms 🤙

My experience from start to finish at Puzzle Effect was excellent! Every employee there was so professional and polite. I was very impressed with how clean and organized the entire business is kept. This was my very first escape room and Alex our game master, explained everything so well, and he gave us just the proper amount of clues. This was so much fun and I will do it again. Thank you Puzzle Effect for providing such a fun time for me and my group!

Loved this place for our first two escape rooms! We did Emerald Seas and Grim Stacks. ES is rated harder but we thought it was easier than GS. Alex was great to work with and gave us clues at just the right time. Will definitely be back!

This was my first time doing an escape room and it was an amazing and fun experience. If you like being challenged and putting together puzzle you would love this escape room. Due to this being my first time we picked the easy room and finished it with 20 minutes to spear. Next time we will definitely try one of the harder rooms. The staff were amazing and super energetic and the room was clean and fun. Better then what I expected. I would do this again no questions asked.

What a fun, wonderful place! Our family has done three of their rooms and they have all been challenging but fair. The new Amnesia room is great! What great memories.

Our game master, Arson did the exact amount of clues - not giving away too much but sending us a clue when we absolutely needed it yet keeping the mystery alive. Would love to do other rooms soon

High quality props, rooms, decor and puzzles. My kids & I have done escape rooms everywhere we vacation. We all agreed that Puzzle Effects was one of the highest quality experiences so far. Everything worked like it should have and wasn’t worn out. The puzzles were thoughtful and challenging but also made sense and the story lines were interesting. Overall an excellent experience!!

We had a great time solving 2 different rooms. We had a big group of 17. Arson was great in helping us get separated into groups and into the different rooms. I would definitely visit Puzzle Effect again to try out their other rooms. Thank you for a memorable time.

We had so much fun and I really enjoyed the way this game is ran and operated versus other escape rooms I have completed. Arson was so kind and friendly. I would return to complete one of the harder rooms. The "Pipeworks" was challenging but still very fun!

My girlfriend and I had a great time! We did the Amnesia room which was challenging with the total number of puzzles, but felt very rewarding for figuring out the multi-step puzzles. Our game master Heather and the other employee were extremely kind, welcoming, and encouraging and made the whole experience worthwhile. We had the best time! 6 friends went for a birthday celebration. We did the most difficult escape room. It was lots of fun and I love the immersive clue experience - so if you can’t figure it out the person who works there can drop you clues on the TV! It was definitely a mind game but so much fun. This was SO fun! Arson was our game master and she was super helpful in communicating with our group and answering questions. Overall, she was really kind and a great hype woman! We did Pipe Works and it was challenging but entirely solvable. Definitely makes you use your brain in different ways. We escaped with 15 minutes to spare! Would definitely come back again!

Wow! We had a great time here tonight. Grim Stacks was such a fun room! We love escape rooms and this was the perfect place to continue our escape shenanigans. Love the progress based clues, and the kindness of our game master ,Isac! They were amazing and took some awesome photos of us. We were able to learn about our room at the end too. We had so much fun with the Curse of the Emerald Sea that we immediately booked another escape room. We do a family escape room in very city we visit, and this was, by far, the best! Our game master, Morgan, was very friendly, great customer service and made the whole experience more fun.

The room we did was challenging but was still fun! I really like that we were able to reserve the room for just me and my husband. I don't like doing these types of things with strangers! Heather was a fantastic host and made our experience even better. I will be recommending Puzzle Effect for sure.

I took my son here last night, and it was awesome! This was our first escape room ever, and we were super lost at first. Arson made the experience so much more enjoyable. She was helpful, kind, and hilarious! We will definitely be coming back again.

We went last night for my husband's birthday celebration and honestly this place is really cool but there were some red flags/drawbacks that made me feel like I wouldn't come back. My team and I got to a step in the escape room ahead of schedule that we "weren't supposed to" due to a drawer didn't close all the way and then popped open AGAIN later while we were playing. When my friend and I noticed it was partially open and consequently opened it the rest of the way, an employee came busting in yelling at us to not break things/pull things open and essentially took the props from our hands and tossed them in the drawer, clearly irritated. Scolded us like children and over reacted. I came to find out this employee's name was Morgan. It left a really bad taste in my mouth and my entire group seemed a little hesitant to open things up after. As mentioned, this particular drawer popped open again later on and we were told that no, we can't open it. Due to faulty equipment and the rude staff member, I gotta knock off a couple stars. It was my husband's and I first escape room and we won't be coming back... I will say Issac at the end was very sweet and the employee running the desk but... I don't know it was weird having someone run in mid game to yell at us and snatch things out of our hands. For the price, I expect better.

We loved our adventure at Puzzle Effect. We were there in May of this year. The staff was very friendly. The puzzle was logical to follow. We almost finished - we needed about 10 minutes more. But the lay out, the clues, the props all of it was great. I wish they would expand because it was one of the best we have ever done. Also, it was the first ones our friends have tried and they were fully hooked and immersed in the experience so thank you.

Such a fabulous group of people and incredible rooms! We went on a bit of an escape room binge and did three of their rooms in two days after our vacation plans suddenly changed. Morgan, Moon, and Arson helped us each time and they were all so kind and so helpful. The immersive clueing experience was new for us and we LOVED it! The game masters kept things moving when we were obviously stuck, but didn’t feed us any unnecessary info. All three rooms were challenging and very well designed. Easily some of the best rooms we’ve ever done! Run don’t walk!

The Puzzle Effect is great! Their facilities are new and all the rooms are amazing and detailed. The staff are friendly and helpful, too. A fun time for sure!

We finished up our fourth and final room at this location today. Everyone we worked with was very friendly and great game masters! The puzzles were a lot of fun and I think the Path was my favorite. We had a blast and definitely recommend this place for everyone looking for a great escape room experience in Phoenix!

Love the style and flow of these games. I have tried a few companies and I think this is one of my favorites for two reasons: (1) the games are mostly linear, so you can’t accidentally skip ahead or miss something important. (2) the puzzles are challenging and interesting (in other words, it’s not just about stumbling around to find locks. You have to solve things and think outside the box). Also, the themes are so well designed and it’s really immersive. I also really appreciate how they have adapted to the pandemic by allowing you to schedule your party privately (instead of putting you in the room with strangers). Overall love the experience and will definitely be back again!

Really enjoyed coming here. We’ve done two rooms so far and they have been great. We did the wizard room and pirate room. If you need an escape room this is it.

So much fun! The room was challenging but we made it! If you’re looking for something fun to do with a few friends or a date this is an awesome venue!

Th hardest puzzles were 1) finding the place, and 2) choosing which sign to hold for the picture when we escaped! The room was very thoughtful and interesting to work through. You definitely spend the entire hour trying to solve all of the puzzles. All of the rooms are private (your own group only-no strangers) and that is one of the main reasons we chose this place. It is just more satisfying working together with the people you know to find a solution. We did the "Grim Stacks" room for our first visit. I think it a perfect room for people who have never done escape rooms before (like us). I would definitely go back to do another room, most likely "the path". We escape with 13 seconds left to spare, even though the very nice staff gave us an extra 3 minutes at the end :)

We had so much fun in Curse of the Emerald Seas! Grimstacks is still my personal favorite though. Very friendly employees, super clean and high tech rooms! Best escape room we've been to!

We completed the cursed room on a whim and absolutely loved it. We were a group of 3 adults and 1 child under 10. The room was very well themed, had great puzzles and best of all we made it out just in time. Highly recommend Puzzle Effect!

Completed the path. Well thought out, lots of fun, and a great theme. I especially liked that this was a puzzle room without traditional locks. I initially thought that would be hokey; but turns out it was a fun change. Would have given five stars but there was a mechanical issue with our room that almost kept us from finishing. The game master intervened quickly when he realized there was an issue.

Amazing!! My friend and I weren’t able to finish before the hour was up and the staff was super nice and they let us finish up the puzzles with his help!! Greatly recommend! I really loved how they never actually locked the door of the puzzle room we were solving! So I could leave at any time if need be. I was also able to take my personal items into the room with me☺️

I did the power plant based puzzle and really enjoyed it. Without getting into too many details, the puzzles were very interesting and progressed logically so I always could track how to get from one place to the next. I had a great time and I'll probably go there the next time I'm in Phoenix.
