I love coming here on Saturdays for Latin nights! Although it does get really hot inside. I wish they would be more considerate of the people inside. I would leave this club looking like I just got out the shower! The bathrooms need updating as well and some more stalls would be nice. The 3 dance floors are fun, it’s nice to hop around and dance to different types of music! And the fact it’s open until 4:30 is a plus.

I’ve been curious about this place, simply because there really isn’t much out there with Latin/Hisp music—it’s scarce. It caught my attention also because on the website it stated there was a dress code and to “dress to impress.” We went a bit early but were a bit surprised to see that the cover charge was cash only (doesn’t state on website). We had to walk over to the ATM at the Grand. Walking in, there weren’t that many people but we did come early, which gave us the chance to get accommodated. We went to the dance floor on the back and the bar there, only took cash. Let me say, for a simple vodka soda, it was $12. A little steep. We started dancing and went between the dance floors. Fairly good music but it got so packed, it was no longer fun. The DJ spoke to much—felt I was at a Mexican wedding or quinceñera. And that dress code? Laughable. Men walking in with Nike tshirts, sneakers and a few with baseball hats. It was ridiculous to see that their website says one thing but they don’t honor it at the door. Certainly didn’t have the feel I was going for, when an establishment says “dress code or dress to impress.” Impress who? Can’t really say anything negative about the staff tho. All of the ones I came across were nice and respectful. I may or may not return. Not sure. I can drive a little extra to Scottsdale and not have a cover charge, where they’s actually a dress code and drinks cost the same.

We were at this place Club Dwntwn on a Saturday night the place was super crowded the bartenders they over serve people with alcohol so people get super drunk. Both of my friends they got assaulted last night they got punched in the face by somebody drunk at the bar nobody did anything about it there’s no security cameras the bouncers didn’t do anything so I highly suggest anybody who’s looking to have fun just go somewhere else for your safety!!!!

Horrible place!! Makes me sad the fact that this establishment takes advantage of the fact that there isn’t many places for people of the Hispanic culture to dance and take advantage of. Not only do they have a a hefty entrance price considering this is downtown and not Vegas but they also rob of their own people! I give this trash place a 1 star because I couldn’t give it 0 stars. This “club” had the audacity to charge $10-$20 to get in but had no AC. It was so hot and super packed inside. When I say packed, I mean you had to squeeze in between people to even move. There was absolutely no open area to dance. When people tried to dance all you felt was shoving. There was a girl throwing up in the restroom so there was throw up on the floor. I came for my birthday but left after 10 minutes. I will never go back due to such an awful experience.

Horrible experience. Went saturday for my birthday got thrown out by security. We went to the back patio was unaware the other side was not a part of club downtown as the door was wide open no signs indicating to not go pass that point when we walked to the other side security ran towards us and took our drinks(brand new drinks not even had taken a sip) told us to go to the front when we got to the front there was the security telling all the security at front to not let us back in. I explained to the security when he closed the gate on us that I had never been there before and I apologized still didn't care. Never going back again .

I went on a Friday for the first time with a couple of friends and got heckled by security they would’ve not let us in because of ‘Saturday’s dress code’ even though it was a Friday. There’s no reason to even tell me anything if it’s not on that day. Payed entrance fee and went in even though you could see from outside it was very dead. Music was okay but played out. Drinks were overpriced. So I left after an hour of being there. Went to Old Town Scottsdale and their was long lines, had to wait to get in the club. Music was awesome and new. The drinks were great and not overpriced. Maybe wrong place wrong time might come check it out on a Saturday.

I went here on New Year's Eve. They were charging $20 at the door. It was around 10 or 10:30 pm. The place looked sparsely populated. There are two bars, one has seats and one does not. My friend and I chose the one with seats because I was using a crutch (knee injury). We were asked what we wanted to drink, my friend gave the bartender an order, then she promptly turned away so another bartender could wait on us. This new bartender was a peppy blonde girl that didn't seem to know/have the materials to make ANY drinks we asked for (originally asked for a cuba libre and a mojito...at a "latin" bar...). When my friend told her what a Cuba Libre was, she berated him for not "just saying rum and coke". When the total came for the drinks and we scoffed, then were told the drinks were expensive because we were in the VIP section. While finishing the overpriced drinks, a woman walked up to us and asked if we "Just walked over here". Pretty sure she was the manager or owner and security wasn't doing their job in the VIP section. After the drinks we decided to leave. Before doing so, I used the bathroom. It. Was. Disgusting. All of the toilets weren't installed properly (there were 3 stalls, all toilets slanted to face the wall). The first stall had a half inch gap between the lock and door frame, and the second toilet DIDN'T HAVE A TOILET SEAT. The third was occupied by someone thoroughly intoxicated. I had to go with the first stall and hold the door closed as people came in and threw their coats over my stall wall with abandon. HERE'S THE BEST PART: My friend paid for the drinks and didn't tip (because the service was rude). Drew a line through the tip spot on the receipt, only signed for the charges of the drinks ($18 total). Today, he finds that they had charged him $4 more than our total (ya know, standard $2 tip per drink). He HAS the copy of his paper receipt. He is going to be contacting the manager tomorrow. The bartender's name on the receipt says Reyna. Apparently Reyna will steal your money if you think she isn't worth tipping.

Visited this club last Saturday or I say clubs and in more than one. We were hanging out having drinks and heard more music we looked behind us there was another room with another set of music playing. We dance a little and had another drink and a door slid open and you guessed it another room with a different tone playing. Definitely a great Spanish club. There were different types of dancing going on in the different rooms. You should definitely check it out, different vibez.

This is directed to the new ownership of this establishment. Me and my friends been coming here since forever. We kept this place going when it hit a rough patch a few years ago and we keep coming to the Salsa side things, which used to be the busiest side then. I always respected the staff, the management, they were and still are very professional. This last Sat 7/29/23, we decided to come in, me and my fellow Salseros to get our dance on, which it was great, but could'nt help to notice that the A/C in the bathroom that services the patio and the Salsa room was turned off. It is hot as it is outside. Now with Dancing and the amount of people that is allowed in this place. I think it is dangerous and irresponsable to turn off the the A/C in certain places and to turn up the thermostat in the dance floors to save a few bucks or to pay for the place you just bought. If you want to keep the faithful clientele that this place has earned over the years, that has been coming to this place week in and week out, with some weekends off of course. You got to treat your clients with respect and provide a safe and cool space to dance and hang out. Seeing people gasping for air and looking for vents is a sorry sight look at if I was the owner of this place. You want to be knowed for consistent service, consistent adequate safe conditions that succesful abundant clubs provide all over the world. Think long term, not short term. I hope this helps and serves as feedback to the new onwership team, to provide not only the same affective service that was provided in the past, but a superior one for your current and future customers. We live in the Desert, us the the A/C for what is internded for. To keep things cool, if not we'll all find a new place to go to. There is always one;) Thank you

This place is opened late, has three dance floors, and only accepts cash to walk in, but it is a complete joke. It's SO crowded that it is impossible to dance without being shoved, stepped on, or pushed. I was on the dance floor and a guy kept spilling my drink so I put my arm in between us, he turned around and started THREATENING me. I felt so anxious being here, it is overfilled with people and creates an unsafe environment

Music was good not great, cash only cover at the door, $20 VIP wristband is not worth it, opt for regular $10 entry. If you want a table it's up to $170 which includes one bottle, otherwise chill at the bar. Got crowded as early at 10pm. Wasn't impressed

I came here around 11:30 PM on Saturday night for a friend’s birthday. We had 9 people in our group. 4 of us got in and the other 5 got stopped because one of our friends apparently wasn’t wearing proper attire (jeans and a shirt) even though 1 of the 4 who got in was wearing the same exact outfit, just a different colored shirt. We asked the bouncer what was wrong with his outfit and all he said was he normally would let it slide but not tonight. There were also other people wearing the same thing that were going inside, so we were surprised that he targeted him only. He couldn’t even provide a proper explanation. It’s one thing to refuse service for an appropriate reason, but we were in the right and had no reason to be denied service. The bouncer was just being a meathead. I’ve been here before on multiple occasions and never really had an issue until now. Won’t be returning to this bar.

Went last night and I'm forever traumatized. It was super packed, and hard to move through. That meant the bathroom line was long and while waiting in line a girl peed on the floor and another was throwing up. My friends and I were so icked out we left. I understand you can't control what people do but that many people being let in was such a bad idea. My suggestion is to not have that many people in at once and to also put lights in that place next to the bathroom so people can't hide in those dark corners. And to also have a security guard watching that area.

This place was not worth the money. You pay $15 cover to get in a very subpar “club”. I tried ordering a kamikaze shot and the guy said they couldn’t make it so I asked for his second best. He ended up charging me $15 a shot for a ciroc shot. Would have been a nice warning. Asked him about it and he just walked away. Very rude. Simply just trying to make money off me. Also the place is very sweaty and smelly. Was not a fan.

Just there last night horrible VIP & bottle service had a list of 11 ppl to celebrate 2 birthday celebrations & my group couldn't get in da club w out everyone being there all @ once. Couldn't drink our bottles w out having to wait on da waiter to unlock da bottle paid for VIP to enjoy da experience for being VIP & we were better off paying just da $10 to get in & buying drinks @ da bar to have fun. 2nd bottle ddnt even get to our table till da end on da night near closing even da juice for da bottles was watered down would not recommend dis plc for da VIP & bottle service @ all spent a lot of $ here & it just was not worth it for da experience better off going else where to celebrate special occasions to have a good time.

I've been coming to Club Dwntwn for decades. They have kept the overall layout and theme of the three dance clubs in one. They have in general made improvements to the club. The club needs to focus on the bathrooms that need mandatory maintenance, not only in terms of the standard wear and tear, but also cleaniless throughout the night. The standard cover price has increased to $15pp and if you get VIP you pay $25pp + table costs + 18% gratuity. Would not recommend for reasons I cannot list publicly.

Vibe is great, the three dance rooms are very lit. The only downside are the bartenders in the VIP section. The ladies lack professionalism and training, and rather talk to the people they know, they are supposed to be working. Any other than that you will definitely have fun and will get to know Phoenix nightlife. Go there for a great dance.

Went out for my sister's 21st birthday and the security was just completely rude given her a hard time about how it should already be updated... her birthday was on Saturday and went out that night. He just being super unprofessional. One other person in line just got there and has his drink in his hand and some munchkin secuirty gaurd went on a power trip slapped it out of his hand with no warning and when the guy said something he threatened him...The music was okay but no AC. Unsanitary bathrooms. Bartenders are not pleasant to deal with. And when we left because one of our paty members was starting to get exhausted the big security guard the night made a stupid comment and instead of just saying something nice like thanks for coming or have a good night. Just overall bad experience. I guess it's hit or miss with some people.

Club Dwntwn is always a fun time. They play decent music and have multiple rooms. I come here fairly often and always have a good time. I would recommend going with the VIP entrance because it is a better experience. If you do not, you have to hang in crowded areas and it is difficult to get a bartenders attention. In the VIP section there is walking room and a more private bar. Security is on point at this club, they try their best to make sure everyone is behaving. There are a few things I would say could use some work. The bathrooms are straight out of a horror movie, super small and congested. Last night there there was a toilet cover on one of the seats, just dangerous to have around drunk people. I would also say maybe upgrade to their other rooms, I checked one out for the first time and it was scary back alley vibes. I will be sticking to the main room.

My girlfriends and I had an absolute blast dancing here! Bringing our out-of-town friends here for the first time, this club turned out to be the highlight of their trip. Even though we had to wait in line, it was totally worth it once we got in. Huge shoutout to the sweet bouncers and bartenders who made sure our night was nothing short of fabulous. If you find yourself in downtown Phoenix, seriously, check out this cool local club. You'll see some incredible Latin dancers! (My friends and I are not the greatest dancers, but we still had an amazing time.) 5 stars, no doubt! We can’t wait to go back. Oh and swing by the food truck outside the club for some delicious tacos afterwards! 💃🏼

I went to club downtown this weekend brought five friends well the men’s bathrooms were clogged up dirty and in bed condition there was water all over the floor which can cause an accident normally you like to go there because of all the people that you have made friends with but the heat in there is ridiculous they keep saying it’s because there’s a lot of people that go there but I feel is not true they don’t turn on the AC and it’s super hot you can’t even dance or enjoy it because of the heat we will continue to club somewhere else this facility is no longer being run by a good manager or something because there’s a lot of things wrong with this place The one store it’s because of the friends we’ve made that we can take them to another club They should really work on fixing that place it has good potential
