Yum!! Brought my friend who was passing through Phoenix here and it was his first vegan meal ever!! We split the cauliflower tacos and quinoa beet burger. They were SO good. He absolutely loved it and said he would eat there again. I'm 90% plant-based (zero meat) and it was definitely one of the better places I've been to. Love that they advocate for human rights too. Tip: bring your own reusable utensils and napkins as they give you plastic utensils in a plastic package. Bring a reusable water bottle as well to avoid the plastic cups!

A very homey and relaxing place to dine, The Coronado exceeded every expectation I had. Upon arriving, you are to wait to be seated. We were greeted immediately, and told to pick a white table. Water was given to us when we sat down, menus are accessible via QR code. Had ordered the famous cauliflower tacos and a slice of lemon strawberry cake. The food came out in 10 minutes, it was hot, flavorful and very filling. The ingredients are very fresh as well. The service I received was top notch, the server was friendly and interactive, checking in with us when we needed something and making sure the food was ok etc. I would love to come back here and I will be recommending this place to many people as well!

I absolutely love this place. I used to visit a long time ago during its previous location on the main road (3rd street?) This upgraded location is even more beautiful and unique than ever. I don't regularly eat vegan food but this location makes you forget that you are. I had the Cauliflower Tacos and brown sugar lemonade. The Cauliflower is battered and crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Placed on a white corn tortilla (3 tacos total) spinach (I think) some type of seeds (pumpkin?) And a delicious green lime-avocado based salsa that just pulled the entire meal together. My waiter was extremely kind and attentive. I look forward to visiting again soon 💕

Went today for the first time ordered takeout since that is all that is available there was a line for pickup which was surprising at first but when I got home to eat my biscuits and gravy I understood. I have been trying to find decent biscuits and gravy since having some amazing ones in Portland and tried them at a few popular places around Phoenix. Currently I would say The Coronado has my favorite, they were absolutely fantastic! The biscuits were fluffy and the gravy was delicious. I also got a Bloody Mary to go as well which was also delicious. Hoping to be able to eat here again soon!

The Coronado is a MUST for any vegans living in or visiting Phoenix. Amazing food, cocktails, coffee, pastries, and atmosphere. I recommend the fried guacamole, but skip the chips and ask them to substitute fries. 🙌

This place is soooooo good! The prices vs portion was a shock. Usually at vegan restaurants you get like 2 carrots for $12, but here, so much food for a great price. We got the cauliflower tacos and mushroom tacos with street corn. Everything was delicious. We also bought cold brew beans which I just made (as a cold brew) and again, nothing short of flavorful. 💯 Recommend The Coronado PHX!

The food and service were both excellent. I had the chips and salsa appetizer and along with trying out some of the glazed sweet potatoes. Then I tried the potato tacos which were delicious and perfectly seasoned. All of the food is crafted with such care, plated well and served piping hot. I also really liked the blackberry lemonade which was suggested by the server. Went for a Thursday lunch and were seated immediately. I will definitely be going back.

Cool ambience and decor and the food was really yummy for brunch. We got the avocado toast, it was so flavorful. The smoky eggplant sandwich was tasty as well. Service was good and cool, unisex bathrooms. We were visiting from out of town but would definitely return someday!

In need of a quick cup of coffee, a snack, a cocktail or a full on meal, The Coronado does ALL of that and more. It’s also a total Vegetarian/Vegan joint. As you can see from the photo, this ain’t no regular Avocado Toast. SO much yum in one bite…The perfect snack, with or without coffee while, sitting on the patio! If you’re still hungry, get an order of the Biscuits and Gravy…Seriously, divine!

Another great vegan/vegetarian option right here in Central Phoenix. We came for a brunch/late breakfast and they nailed it. Breakfast burrito, farmer scramble, chimichanga, fried guacamole, and the breakfast sandwich were all what we ordered and they nailed it. Absolutely delicious, good portion sizes, and great presentation. We would definitely come back without a doubt. Walk up and order at the counter and they're dropping food off. Cool chill patio or indoor seating as well. Both had a cool vibe in quaint old house that adds to the ambience. Check it out and you won't be disappointed.

My go to vegan place for breakfast, lunch or dinner! The staff is so kind and the food always hits the spot. I only discovered this place in June and since then have been getting it a few times a month! My whole family is hooked. The chimichanga and the white chocolate cookies are my favorite! I always look forward to their weekly specials too because they are always so flavorful and delicious. I love supporting businesses that give back to their community and truly care about their people.

This is the first vegan restaurant in Phoenix I have tried since moving here from Miami. The cashier was super helpful when asking about the menu and she suggested the cauliflower tacos and she was correct with saying they were great. A lot more food than I expected when getting tacos. But they are amazing. I plan on going back to try other items on their menu. The space is also very cute because it’s an old house they turned into a restaurant.

The staff here is so nice! I felt safe with their regulations. Their menu is awesome, so many great vegan and vegetarian options. I had the cauliflower tacos, a side of fries and an oat milk latte and it was more than enough (delicious) food! Definitely coming back here!!

Looks like a beautiful place and I'm all for supporting small businesses and being planet based, I'd love to stop here. However, their unprofessional post about the President is a huge turn off. They basically only want to serve like minded people. Hopefully they realize they are in Arizona. A very pro- America state. Edit: in response to owner. What is sad is bringing politics into your small business. You have done more harm to yourself than my 1 star review. I hope you someday realize you are the one who decided to not want the hard earned money of Republicans to go into your business, into your dream.

This restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere and I really enjoyed the aesthetics of their indoor seating as well as their patio all the way out to their parking lot even. The servers were all very friendly and the service they provided was excellent. Their Oreo scones were absolutely delicious and the smoky eggplant sandwich I had for my entrée was also very tasty especially with their house dipping sauces.

Fully vegan restaurant in Coronado, Phoenix. Food**** The food was fresh and delicious! We ordered the chia seed bowl, which was delightful and served with fruit. We also ordered the breakfast burrito, which tasted great! The best part was the margarita. It was sooo sweet and yummy I wish I could have drank a pitcher (and we rarely drink). Atmosphere**** Nice indoor and outdoor seating with parking in their lot and across the street. The outside setting was really nice and especially on a nice day. Seats were comfortable and everything looked clean! Service**** Great service with a smile! Quick and helpful too. Price$$ Very well priced considering the quality!

This is my favorite vegan restaurant in Phoenix. The service is great and the food is always fresh and tasty. On this visit I ordered the Chimichanga made with Chorizo, red potatoes & cilantro lime sauce, with a crispy flour tortilla. It is served with refried black beans and so many mouth watering flavors. The Chimichanga is HUGE. It will easily feed two people.

Wow. So impressed! Flying out of Phoenix back to Philly and my sister took me here. I loved it all...the atmosphere, the food. We shared the fried guacamole and I had the cauliflower tacos, my sister had the chorizo. It blew my mind! The best part? It settled so well and fueled me for a day of travel without the stomachaches I am so used to (and I even ate something fried!) This will be a new regular whenever I'm in Arizona.

I visited Coronado over the weekend and brought home one of the cauliflower tacos to my hubby, and when he tasted it, he felt like I did as I devoured my 2 tacos in the parking lot. My first bite was pure heaven! I enjoyed them so much that I had to share the last one with my husband once I returned home. Needless to say, he drove there last night and got the tacos again! And, the chili fries were amazing as well. You will be happy that you experienced this gem in the Coronado district again, and again.

What a nice surprise!!! We saw the restaurant on a Check please TV show and decided to give it a try. Late afternoon around 3p and it was really quite witch was nice so we could really check out the place. Ordering was simple at the counter, then they bring the order to you. Fried guacamole and cauliflower tacos out standing!! Staff super polite and friendly. We would definitely go back!

Everyone at this restaurant is doing what they feel is right- all the time, with every action. The negative reviews I’ve seen about this restaurant are petty, ignorant, and downright stupid. If you want to avoid complete ignorance - I highly recommend the coronado. Their french fries are great too.

Two years ago I left a 5 star review. It was the cauliflower tacos, amazing, delicious, spectacular! What happened? The Coronados service. The restaurants service has never been great, but anyone can over look that when the kitchen staff is killing it. The last 3 times my hubs and I have called them they haven't answered their phone. Yes, I looked both at Google and their website to make sure they were open. Today my husband swung by around 11:30 because they weren't answering and my pregnant self was craving those amazing cauliflower tacos. They were open! My hubs decided not to go in after seeing the sign in the front of the building. If white silence is violence you guys are being pretty violent towards your customers by not answering your phone. I don't go to a restaurant for their political views, I go there for the food.

Good food. Just upset there's no "public" bathrooms for customers to use. We just got off the plane and came here for food, so a little frustrating that paying customers can't use the bathroom while waiting for food.

I used to visit this place frequently. However, I had an incident some weeks ago. The Cafe was only taking one customer at a time, and I had stepped into the Cafe to pick up my mobile order. A white woman opens the door on the other side of the Cafe after me, and then the Cafe employee comes to the register and tells us that only one person is allowed at the time. The white woman was only half-way in the place and says that she has a mobile order. I am then asked to step outside. I didn't say anything at the time (I had been waiting for the place to open and allowed time for my order to be prepared) because I was probably tired still as this was early in the morning. The incident made feel uneasy, and I know I should've said something. I found this disrespectful, and I just want to share this so people use their customer service skills better. The food is good, BTW.

Tucked back in a small stand-alone building off 7th, this inviting local spot has charm and warmth. Getting right to the food, the Chili & Cornbread were excellent, highlighted with a ground coffee spice mixture that stands out from the crowd. The Chimichanga was a delicious vegan treat and the Cauliflower Tacos were also delicious. Why can't more restaurants offer such unique vegan cuisine and pair it with warm service and a welcoming atmosphere? My 89-year old mother who is most definitely not a vegan could not stop commenting how wonderful a meal she had !

I love their food but hair was found in it twice which is not up to par they may need to start wearing hair nets. But that's out of 8 times I've been there. They did give me my money back so if that's okay. But for the price of food that you pay you should get it without hair.

Delicious! We ordered the breakfast burrito. It gets spicy! But so delicious. I also ordered a brownie and a cupcake.... Early morning buyers beware: their pastries are not delivered until 8am, so the selection may be different when you arrive. Anyways, I ordered a walnut brownie from the website, but when I arrived they had Oreo brownies... Which, was a total win for me! And I got a cupcake.... And one. was. NOT. enough! Gosh it was delicious. Can I say delicious anymore?

Hands down one of the best vegan restaurants in the valley. You can feel the love in their food! Vegan chimichanga, cauliflower tacos, and the beet burger are a few of my faves, but everything here is delicious! Beautiful patio and warm environment. If I lived closer I would eat here several times a week.

Food was great if you are looking for a diverse vegan/vegetarian menu. Also they are set up really well during Covid. I never felt uncomfortable and the service was great. I got the chili and cornbread. Cornbread was a little dry but nothing to lose a star over, the chili was great. Lavender berry cupcake was worth the trip alone.

The Coronado has been upping their menu game recently. The chimichanga is one of my go-to items. The sour cream that comes with it is so good. Also I tried the jalapeño marmalade and cashew chevre quesadilla recently and it's delicious and packed with flavor. The cobb salad is also delish. I like the tahini dressing.

I came to leave a 1 star review for the hilariously bad service, and after reading a few reviews regarding the experiences of others, I wish I could take stars away. Seeing the "owner" leave horrible replies assuming the beliefs of their patrons and attacking them while fraudulently stating they never came this place is an entirely new level of professional stupidity. How is this place still even open with a mentality like this?

Their chimichanga tasted terrible. Maybe I just got a bad chimi. Very soft inside, lacking flavor. Very bland. The execution was pleasing. The rest of the stuff I've had is delicious and very fresh. They might want to think about how to handle customers. Long lines last time I went. Hostess was overwhelmed. Set up a separate line for takeout?

This is a nice neighborhood spot with very good (delicious) vegan dishes that are mostly(if not all) Mexican inspired. There’s a limited selection, but all very delicious. I’d suggest that they add a trio taco plate with 3 different options bc they’re all so good. They’re understaffed, so don’t be in a big hurry. I think they need to offer free chips n salsa (maybe self serve?) to keep the peace or find some other way to relieve pressure off waitstaff while hangry customers wait.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! One of the best in DTPHX 🥰 such good food. The staff here is amazing and very professional and friendly. I highly recommend this place as a must spot if you are in the area the vegan food is so good. There was road construction 🚧 going on when we were here, but the outside seating was pleasant and the misters added to the great atmosphere.

10/10 recommend!!! I’ve been in Phoenix about 3 years and hands down the best vegan cuisine I’ve ever experienced here and in general. Had their short stack pancakes today which were light and fluffy, sweet but not too sweet, melted in your mouth. Their red potato hash is to die for. Menu has something for everyone. Prices are fair and service is impeccable. Cannot recommended enough!!!

The Coronado is such a vegan gem here in Phoenix. Their menu has an incredible selection, and you can get breakfast items anytime. I’m obsessed with their chilaquiles and get them most times I visit. Their tepary burger and cauliflower tacos are also incredible. Their cocktails and desserts are also a must! Their outdoor patio steering is so nice, when it’s not too hot outside. Their indoor seating has nice dim lighting and such a cute cozy vibe to it. A perfect spot for a date night! The service is always great and the staff will recommend items if you are unsure of what to get.

There were so many other dishes now show here.. But we had the Cauliflower Tacos and the Potato Tacos, just ask for extra sauce and a little Hot sauce and the house salsa.. Thank me later.. The mimosa were really good.. they have a good deal 3.00 all day Sunday. The pancakes are huge it took 3 of us to eat! Everything is fresh and made to order so prepare for a little wait but it will all be worth it! The customer service, atmosphere and music was a vibe!

Daughter eats vegan, I do not. But the biscuits and gravy were very good. She got the Scrambled Tofu breakfast biscuit. She loved it but It wasn't possible to eat as a sandwich so she wished it was served open faced. Great staff who are friendly and attentive. Food comes out quickly so if you are looking for a vegan breakfast spot, five this a pla e a shot!

The service was amazing. The food was worth driving to downtown. The fried guacamole is so good, I wouldn't be surprised if someone wore a song about it. I couldn't stop eating the blueberry pancakes with orange zest creme anglaise . They were so soft and the blueberries so fresh. I highly recommend. I almost forgot about the spicy margarita and that would be a crying shame. It was perfection, spicy and with the perfect amount of alcohol.

My recent dining experience The Coronado PHX at was a delightful journey through flavors and creativity. The restaurant's commitment to plant-based cuisine shone through in every dish. The menu offered a diverse range of options, from hearty vegan burgers to innovative salads bursting with fresh ingredients. I particularly loved their take on classic dishes which was both satisfying and guilt-free. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the attentive staff made sure I had an enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians looking for a memorable and delicious meatless meal.

Fully vegan restaurant with eclectic decor and plants all around. 🪴 We got the Cauliflower Tacos, Chilaquiles, and a Horchata. The Cauliflower Tacos are worth the hype and the Chilaquiles was spicy goodness! I was a little dissatisfied by the horchata as I’m used to it being more sweet, but still refreshing!

I absolutely loved the vibe here! The music and atmosphere is on point. I had the breakfast burrito which is quite possibly the best breakfast burrito that I’ve ever had…very tasty with their special sauce on the side. I also had the spicy margarita I will say the same about that! Yum! I absolutely love this place and I’m not even a vegan!

Honestly, they had the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had! And it was vegan!! It was so flavorful and filling. I’m not vegan, but love checking out vegan restaurants with friends and this place was wonderful.

Upscale place to have vegan food. Food was great and the vibe was lovely indoor and outdoor. We tried the cauliflower tacos and beet burger. Both were great. The service was good as well and our server Chloé was awesome, she helped us with some hot salsa for the tacos which was very nice. Only thing that didn't allow me to give a 5 star was it took sometime to get the food but it was worth the wait.

Great food with great music! Seriously from the starters, the drinks, and entree everything tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. Our server Chloe was friendly and attentive really appreciated the service. My girlfriend is vegan and I am not but I love trying new spots and sharing food and of course I love it more when the food is so delicious. Highly recommend for anyone and everyone!

The dishes here contain components that were tasty even on their own. Enjoyed the chilaquiles. Would recommend!

My husband and I had dinner here twice while spending a weekend in Phoenix. This is the best vegetarian/vegan restaurant I’ve ever been to. The flavors are incredible, the food is fresh, and the portions large. It wasn’t super busy either night we went (Thursday and Saturday). Zero wait time and our food came fast. Loved the tarot card menus at the tables. 5 stars for food and atmosphere, 4 star total because drinks are overpriced. Pictured are the potato tacos, fried guac, and chimichanga.

Amazing! Starting with the staff, very friendly and accommodating to allergies. The building has a very cool vibe. Great music. Great drinks. I cannot say enough about this pace. Pancakes are amazing!

Very lovely eatery. Vegan!! Friendly service. Lively cool ambiance. Full bar if you want to go that way. Burrito is succulent. And the veggie burger out of sight! Tortilla chips are a YES. (A recommendation: lighter on the salt). A definite eatery to add to your list. I’m taking this place home.

My server recommended the jackfruit flautas. They absolutely deliver - perfect seasoning, perfect portion. I had a work emergency and needed to plug my laptop in, and they made an exception to help me support the situation. Incredible staff all around.
